Chapter 35 Golden Castle

Shin was at the library reading a book for a school report, he was looking at many books and then kivat came."It seems you got your work cut out for you."

"Yeah, but what else can I do today, I'm just glad that theres no Fangires today."Shin said.

"I can understand that."Kivat said.

Then a book fell of the shelves surprising them, Shin goes up to it and sees it covered in dust, he blows the dust off and sees the cover being gold with a castle on it."Golden Castle of Stromberg."He opens the book and reads it."The castle will only appear after a certain day, the one that is destined to be the one above Ever After may achieve the power of the stories of legends, allowing him great power in the future."

"A riddle?"Kivat said.

"It might take some time to understand the meaning but the day I've seen is like today!"He got surprised seeing the day."Wow! I didn't expect it to be now, okay it's five hours from now."He then runs off.

"Hey wait!"Kivat follows him.

Shin runs through the halls but then the principals came out of they're office making Shin stopped and they got surprised since he almost crashed.

"Mister Kurenai what is the meaning of this?"Milton said.

"Sorry, I just got too excited from what this book showed me."he shows them the book.

"What?"Milton takes it."Where did you ge this?"

"In the library, it fell of a shelf."Shin said.

"Really."Giles seem interested.

"I hope your not going to the castle, those that go in there tend to get hurt if not the chosen ones."Milton warned him.

"But sir, if this caslte can really grant some kind of power wouldn't be best to make sure those monsters don't get it first, they're being lead by someone else."Shin said.

"Well... Yes but it's still very dangerous."Milton said.

"Don't worry, I'll be careful, I might even take a group just in case if I need someone to pull me out."Shin said.

"Okay fine."Milton said."But if anyone gets lost you'll be in trouble."

"Alright."Shin takes the book back and runs off.

They watch him leave and Giles said:"He might be the one."Milton was surprised.

Shin shows the book to Raven, Maddie, Cerise, Hunter, Briar, Darling, Apple, Alistair, Bunny, Poppy and Melody.

"Wait so this castle will appearing today."Raven said.

"Yes, so I was going there to make sure that cloaked guy doesn't get that power it's talking about."Shin said.

"Yea, it must be pretty strong."Poppy said.

"So you asked us for help."Cerise said.

"Yes, since some of you have skills, magic and I even trained."He said.

"He is right."Maddie said.

"It will be a honor Shin."Darling said.

"So having a party."They looked to see Ramona.

"Oh no."Cerise said.

"Ramona Badwolf."Apple said.

"Yeah, I saw you were preparing a adventure without me."She goes up to Shin and was close to his face making him blush."Your a bad boy."

"Hey!"Cerise pulls him away."We have important task."

"Yeah, which is why I'm coming."She said surprising them.

"Well if she's coming."Blondie came."I want to record this, this is gold."

Shin looks at her."Is that supposed to be a pun?"

"Oh no, that was a accident."She chuckles.

"Well when do we start?"Briar asked.

"Right now."Shin said.

"Yeah."Hunter and Alistair said.

Apple was a little worried."Should we even go, what if they appear."

"Apple, those two wouldn't even try with a larger group."Briar said making her feel better.

"Yeah, so don't worry."Raven said.

They went together to the forest walking around together, they then saw the dark part of it and kept going, Cerise looks at the book and said:"It's say we should be seeing it here."they stopped to see a big empty spot.

"What, this is it?!"Blondie said.

"Hold your horses."Ramona said.

Then the time was right and then a big golden castle appears almost like a mirage making them surprised.

"Wow."Apple said."It's so, wonderful."

"Yeah, I didn't know a castle like this could exist."Briar said.

"Well let's check it out."Hunter said.

"Blondie Lockes here, we are in front of the magical castle, at first it would seems it was a fake but then the part of the time kicked in and it appeared."Blondie shows it off to the school.

They went inside and saw the entire furniture was made of gold.

"Do you see."Hunter said.

"Yes."Shin said.

"Do you think."

"No!"Shin said.

"Oh come on, I wanted to give Ashlynn a gift."Hunter said.

"Well this does live up to the legend."Ramona said.

"Yeah, but it makes me wonder what the other part said."Melody said.

"Well only one way to find out."Poppy said and they went foward to a staircase going up.

They then found a hall of doors with many symbols there, some with a tree, thorns and so on.

"Maybe we're supposed to go into these doors, and reveal they're secrets."Maddie said.

"Are you sure about that?"Apple said.

Raven notices a door in the front that was locked with chains."Well looks like we will have to go in the doors in order to unlock that door."

"Well first one."Ramona opens one that as a tree and they went inside.

They then saw they were in a forest, they saw a trail and Cerise said:"This seems familiar."

"But where?"Hunter said.

Apple looks around and gasps, they looked at where she's looking and they're jaws dropped, they saw a little girl wearing a red hood, she has a pink dress, brown hair and has rosy cheeks, and she was carrying a basket.

"Mom!"Cerise said.

It's the Little Red Ridding Hood from the Yugioh Anime.

"Wow, it's a kid version of your mother."Apple said.

"Wait, so these are storybooks."Shin said."Each one is a different story we must pass in order to open those lockes."

"Wait, if that's little red ridding hood then?"Ramona said.

Red opens the door and then she screams seeing a wolf wearing grandma's clothes and glasses come out.(Forest Wolf from Yugioh.)

"I'm gonna die of embarrassment."Ramona said since that was basically her dad in that one scene."Of all the moments to add my dad they put the one where's he dressing up as her."

The others outside of Shin chuckle at that sight while Cerise was a little embarrassed too.

Red screams as the wolf goes to eat her but then Shin kicks the wolf back surprising her.

"The book also said change what must be changed."he then raises his hand."Kivat!"

"Alright, let's go Kiva."Kivat came and bites Shin's hand.

GABU!

The markings and belt appeared."Henshin."He inserts Kivat and transforms into Kamen Rider Kiva.

The wolf attacks him but he dodges his paws and kicks him back, the wolf sees the group and jumps at them but Ramona kicks him away.

"Paws off, you faker."Ramona said.

He goes towards her but she runs around making him chase after her, she smirks and goes faster to a tree and backflips behind him making the wolf bite the tree, he was in pain and his teeth broke.

"Well the story did say the wolf ate rocks."Ramona said."So close enough."

The wolf gets off and growls, but then a arrow came at him scaring the wolf away, they then saw a man with a beard wearing green and a hat, he was carrying a bow and a axe chasing after the wolf.

"Was that my dad."Hunter was surprised.

"He was carrying a axe and bow."Briar said.

Then red's hood came off because of the wind."My hood!"it flies away.

Cerise saw that and runs towards it ande catches it, she then comes back to red."Here you go."

"Thank you."She smiled putting it back on, she looks at Cerise."I really like your hood."

"Oh thanks."Cerise was a little nervous.

"Oh I must see granny."Red goes inside the house."Granny."

Then a door appeared and they went inside it.

They were back in the halls and they saw that the door lost one chain.

"Oh I see, the more we finish a story the more of those chains vanish."Raven said.

Cerise and Ramona were alone and Cerise said:"I wonder how dad is feeling about what just happened."

Back in Ever After

Badwolf saw that footage from the big screen in school and saw his counterpart running off in a cartoon manner by the hunter, the others laughed at the footage making him growl.

"What are you laughing at?!"He roars in his wolf form making the students run away."Why did it have to be that moment?"he looks down.

Back with the group.

"Okay so where next?"Alistair asked.

Bunny looks around and points at the one with the thorns."How about that one."

Briar looked nervous knowing what might be in there, Kiva noticed it while they went inside.

They were now outside a castle that was covered in thorns.

"I knew it."Briar said scared seeing it.

"It's a version of your story Briar."Apple said.

Kiva goes to Briar's side and said:"It's okay, this isn't real."She nodded and they went inside.

They then went around the castle and arrived in a room, they saw a woman with green hair with a dress being suspended by the thorns.(Thorn Princess from yugioh.)

Briar goes up to her to see she has her eyes closed."Mom?"

She opened her eyes surprising them and said:"Please, destroy the wheel!"

They looked to see the same spindle of Briar's story behind it, the needle goes up and points at them with Briar being the target shocking her, Kiva jumps foward and then one of his stones came out and merged with his right hand, it then made a giant claw like that of Lycanthrope only with the claws being metal.

He then slashes the needle away and Briar sees the spindel.

"No more!"she picked up a chair and slams it against the Spindel breaking it.

The princess was set free and was in front of Briar, she smiled at her and said:"Thank you, fate has taken you yet, fight it and you can be set free."She then vanishes making them surprised before a door opened making them go back to the hall and one chain was gone.

Briar looks at her hands and said:"I did it."

Kiva looks at her and nodded, she smiles, she fought against a story of her mother and felt happy, maybe she can truly fight against that destiny and be with her friends.

Now the group will have to face off against more stories before entering the final door, what will it have, find out next time.

Note:Yeah the castle is the same one from Yugioh, here it keeps the a secret behind it where only the one that is worthy may get it, they must go to altered stories of the world to open the door.
