Chapter 39 Fairest on Ice

Today was a snowy day in Ever After High as the students wore their winter clothes and were now skating on a frozen pond, Ashlynn was skating while listening to music, then Tiny skated by her but he broke the ice.

Duchess was skatting on the ice, Alistair and Bunny were together before she knocks Bunny down.

"Sorry snow bunny."She said.

In the bridge Raven, Apple and Cedar were taking pictures for the yearbook Apple wanted to show the best while Raven wanted to show the worst.

Poppy was sitting by a bench with Holly as she helps put on her skates.

"I don't know, Holly. What if I wipe out? I'm new at this."Poppy said scared.

"Just go for it, Poppy! Remember, if you surrender to fear, then fear wins."Holly said to her.

"Then I choose my ever after to be unafraid."Poppy said as she stands up

Shin skates foward on the ice with a smile, but then he dodges a crack and then he bumps into Poppy and they screamed.

They were skating together and Poppy holds him making Shin blush.

Raven and Apple got shocked seeing that.

"What?"Raven said.

"Oh my fairy godmother!"Apple got mad.

Duchess sees the duo and smiles:"Oh, it is on you guys."

She then skates behind them and said:"Anything you can do, I can do better!"

They then went down a slope and they screamed.

"Okay! Poppy! You made your point!"Duchess said.

"If you surrender to fear, then fear wins! Well I choose not to be afraid!"Poppy said holding they're hands and they went foward.

Ashlynn was still skating while listening to music and avoiding the cracks.

Apple saw her and said:"Look out, Ashlynn!"

Then the trio jumped off, someone up a cliff then throws a rock at the ice cracks but they trio grabbed Ashlynn skating foward with her and they stopped.

"Poppy, you were great out there."Duchess said.

"Probably just beginner's luck!"Poppy said.

"I think we all had our share of good luck today!"Ashlynn said.

"Yeah."Shin said.

Poppy then notices her hand with Shin making her blush.

"Wait a minute."Shin said."Someone threw a rock at the cracks."

Everyone stopped and they looked around, Apple looks up and sees the two shadows up the cliff, she then starts to shake in fear."I-I-It's them."

They all looked up and saw Honoka and Hinata and they smiled at them with crazy looks.

"Honoka and Hinata!"Shin said.

"Hi Shin."They smiled at him.

"Did you like the ice?"Honoka said.

"Sorry we couldn't come to join you."Hinata said.

Apple was holding Raven out of fear looking at them while Raven glares at the two girls.

"How can you try to kill my own friends?"Shin said.

"Why not?"Hinata said.

"After all, no one cared about you until we came into your life."Honoka said.

"Your both crazy, you took Jack, his only friend away from him!"Raven said.

"Oh why don't you shut up!"Hinata throws a knife at her making Kivat come down grabbing it with his mouth.

"Nice try."He said.

"Well... Can't fight you guys so bye."Honoka said before they left.

Shin stares at where they went and said:"It's not over you two, I will find you."

His friends go to his side since they are there to help him find those girls, he will chase them to the ends of the world.

Laughing Jack came and has balloons."Does anyone want balloons?"

They chuckle at him and Shin smiles at him, it always nice having Jack around to bring joy, Raven takes Apple to Jack and he gives them balloons making Apple smile again.

Poppy looks at Shin."Hey, if you need stopping them I'm always there."

"Thanks."He smiles at her.
