"M'lady?" "Hm?"

Cat and Ladybug were on patrol on a warm evening and Ladybug was gazing up at the sky. "Can you picture me in a cape? I would look so cool!" "Something tells me you've been reading your Batman comics under the covers at night again, Kitty." "No…." his voice cracked. "You would look like Batman though," Ladybug giggled. "Dark and mysterious!" "What? No, I wouldn't." "Yes, you would." "Um, hello? Did Batman have a tail?"

Ladybug laughed. "You could hide it under the cape," she winked at Cat as he sprawled out beside her. "Along with all the hidden cookies from the cookie jar." "There's nothing wrong with pretending, Kitty. Besides, I like Batman too. He's cool. Can you picture Adrien Agreste playing the part of Batman?" she squealed. "Does M'lady have a little crush?" "Hey, Batman has his secrets. I have mine."

"I think I have my answer," Cat answered, smugly. "Me and my big mouth," Ladybug groaned. "Besides, I wouldn't be Bat Man! I would be Cat-Man!" "Okay, whatever."

Later, when Cat got home, Cat grabbed a bed-sheet and posed in the mirror. Then he frowned. "Bat Man didn't wear a bell!"

Tail swishing, Cat sat down to think. Then he grinned. But Cat Man would! He thought of Bugaboo. He didn't need to be Cat Man for his Lady to love him. Still, Cat thought he would have some fun, and for the next few hours he patrolled the city not as Cat Noir, but as Cat Man!
