Eleanor
When I awoke my head felt like a leaden weight bobbing on the surface of a vast ocean threatening to sink down. My eyes sluggishly rolled from one end to the other taking in what seemed to be a cheap motel room. Stains on the yellowing walls, maroon bedding, and yet my eyes were still adjusting. My hands and feet were bound, thankfully I was still in all my clothes. I could smell the bonfire in my hair, but a rough handkerchief was tied around my mouth as a makeshift gag. Somehow my body had been hauled and thrown onto one of the two beds in the room. There was no one in the room with me, and once the recognition hit I started slamming my feet against the wall my bed bordered and attempted to scream. However, some time passed and clearly there was no answer to my crying out. I had attempted to wiggle off the bed to get to my feet. I thought if I could just make it outside, I could find a lobby if this indeed was a motel, and seek out safety. My body thudded to the ground in a painfully swift motion down and the way I had been tied, I had no real position to get to my feet. A man walked in from outside wearing a gray suit and a head of curly dark hair, my body flipping like a dying fish at his feet.
"Ms. Owens I presume?" He looked at me with annoyance and motioned for the two men behind him to close the door and prop me up. One of the men removed the gag and the other set me in a chair binding me upright. "You're not doing yourself any favors." I didn't respond. Instead my lip snarled and my eyes darted between him and the two other men. "We can do this all day Ms. Owen's but time isn't on your side."
"Why is that?" My muddled voice strained out.
"You only have about 46 hours to live. In four or five hours your body will begin shaking uncontrollably, after that you'll grow clammy. At the halfway point you'll be unable to speak, so I suggest that you start now." He tapped on his watch.
"Who are you?" My head flopped around taking in more of the room. There was a metal rolling cart with operation utensils laid out next to my former bed, and another man in a mask walked in, snapping his latex gloves on.
"I'm Agent Porter," he leered, "now, Ms. Owens I'm going to need some answers from you and I anticipate that you'll be helpful or else things will hurt more than they need to."
"I don't have any information, and you'll find I'm very stubborn." I meant to come across as headstrong and menacing but my groggy voice didn't have the effect I had hoped for. He chuckled and grabbed my face to look at him.
"I think we have some methods to make you more apt to talking." He let go and motioned to the man to put me back on the bed and left the room.
"What are you doing with me?" I asked as I struggled against him and he injected me with something once more.
"Where did you get the time travel device?" He questioned back behind the mask.
"Like Back to the Future?" I played dumb. "Doctor Who? I don't understand." He pulled the metal table up against the bed and arranged the tools.
"Once again, before you pass out, where is the time device you used?" His voice sounded bored and a shiver went through my spine at how nonchalant he was now.
My eyes grew heavy and I let out a simple, "I... dunno..."

I was speaking with General Hammond about a potential new ambassador program that Langara had in talks with other gated civilizations. The Chancellor had discussed the concept with me and asked if I would be willing to stay back Earthside and work with Stargate Command on an earth representative to partner with me. Jackson's name had come up, but Hammond wasn't willing to part with him and I could understand why. In that moment Major Davis knocked on the door and stepped in.
"Sorry to interrupt your conversation sir but we have an issue."
"I was just about to wrap this up. I'm late for a birthday dinner with my granddaughter." He stood up and Major Davis frowned.
"It's rather urgent I'm afraid. I got intel from a correspondence of mine at the Pentagon that the NID terrorist offshoot is looking for the time device blueprints that Eleanor Owens used to get here. They still have no idea of Doctor Jackson's device, but they are in Minnesota. Where I believe Colonel O'Neill and the rest of SG-1 went for the week? As well as Owens?"
"Have you gotten ahold of SG-1?"
"No one has answered."
"Goddammit." Hammond grunted out, "this always happens when my girls are in town." He sat back down and looked over at me. "I know you're not technically on combat duty here but you know SG-1 better than any other team."
"Yes sir, I'm on it." I nodded in quick response.
"Get the Prometheus on the line, we're going to call in their backup and wait until O'Neill calls us. As far as we know, nothing has happened yet. Now, if you excuse me, I have a dinner date. Keep me updated."

Hours had passed and it was well into the night when we decided to go in and finally get some sleep. Teal'c was gathering the rest of the snacks to put away in the house while Jack and Daniel were putting out the fire. The stars were high above us now, the only sound echoing through the woods the soft squeak of a bat in the distance or the muffled footsteps of the guys sleepily getting the area ready for bed.
"Thanks again for having us out here Jack," Daniel said softly, "all of us." There was no missing his point there and Jack gave a gentle half smile and winked back before reaching out for my hand to help me out of the adirondack chair I had cozily nestled into with his jacket draped over me. Teal'c walked out stone faced and met us at the now smoky pit.
"There has been an incident in the cabin." He looked over at Daniel whose face blanched. "She is not in the house, there are signs of a struggle, and footprints leading southeast of here."
"Call the SGC," Daniel snapped and sprinted for the house. Jack scowled and went to his pickup to get the satellite phone.
"No!" I heard him shout on the line from across the gravel driveway. "I will not have anyone out here making a crime scene of my cabin. The NID can piss of! They caused this problem, what are they going to find? Stray red hairs? We already know she was taken, we don't need the forensics team for that. Bill Lee?! Oh eff right off with that, and don't even wake up Fraiser it's 3 in the goddamn morning. Get me Hammond, now." I watched as he argued further with the other end of the line and turned to Teal'c.
"I was really hoping for a nice vacation for once." I sighed, wrapping my arms around myself. "Poor Eleanor, she was just getting past the trauma of solitary confinement for half a year, now this. It's a curse at this point."
"I do not believe in curses." His upper lip curled. "But I do not take the threat of violence against my friends lightly."
The Prometheus, a ship designed with Asgardian tech that was in orbit around the earth, beamed us aboard where Jonas was waiting already suited up. He gave us the initial information the Pentagon had relayed to the SGC and we came up with a plan. Agent Barrett was already sent to the area hours ago to track down the rogue agents, and would meet us there on site. The team of the Prometheus however was able to track her gps chip and bioscan in two separate places.
"It's safe to assume that her bioscan is going to be where she is, but it is concerning that the other tracker is showing up in a warehouse on the other side of town." The Major who was assigned on intelligence of the area reported. "We have technical difficulties with trying to beam to the two locations. There seems to be blockers in place. We can beam you to an out of distance location where Agent Barrett is waiting, and he can drive you to point A and B."
"Point A," Jonas continued, "will be Colonel O'Neill and Daniel at the warehouse. There have been some signal frequencies pinging in that area, so expect someone there. I'm not sure if it will be Eleanor but, it's still worth checking out." He turned to Teal'c next, "now you'll be with me at location B. A motel where the owner says was completely booked spontaneously two days ago and only one room has been occupied. He didn't want to answer any further questions, but he was asked to vacate the area for quote, 'privacy.'"
"What about me?" I asked, looking over the schematics in front of us.
"You're up here with us, your expertise is needed in working around the signal blocks." The Major explained.
"Now, if you come across anyone that you think will be helpful for the investigation, the NID asks that you find a way to disarm them, but make them available for detention and questioning." The Major swallowed looking over at both Jack and Daniel.
"Accidents happen." Jack shrugged as Daniel said nothing but his eyes narrowed in on the Major. We agreed and split up to get ready for their drop down back to Earth. I looked over at Daniel who at this point had been up for 24 hours and was running two shots of espresso during our debriefing and blind rage and gave him a tight lipped wince of understanding.
