Chapter 52 Dragon Games 3

At the stables Shin sees the others playing with the dragons with one blowing Maddie's hair making it stand up and she laughs.

He smiles at the scene in front of him but then he saw Apple go towards the evil ones that are in the shadows.

"Apple no!"Shin said.

One of the dragons scares her by breathing fire but then Toothless came foward growling at them, they got scared going back.

"Thank you Toothless."She rubs his head and he smiles.

"He's a older dragon, so of course they would be scared."Shin said.

Toothless stands guard before some of the good ones went around him and he smiles.

"Okay, with Toothless we don't have a proble." Raven said.

"Yeah, come on, the big older dragon would scare the little ones away." Mira said.

Shin looks at her and has a bad feeling, theres no way Raven could have made some of the dragons evil without it being a accident.

"Something is fishy here." He said.

Later at the charmitorium

Everyone gathered there and Mira asked: "What is with the sudden assembly?"

"Hm-hm, it's top-secret - no one knows." Raven said.

"I heard there's a special guest." Blondie said.

"Ooh, this is hexciting!" Apple said.

Shin was looking around and he wonders what will happen.

Milton came and said: "It is my honor to welcome back our most successful graduate, our beloved queen, Snow White."

Snow White appeared and they cheered with some stunned like Shin.

"That's Apple's mom." Shin said.

"What is she up to?" Apple said.

Snow White chuckles and said: "A little bird told me that dragons have returned to my beloved alma mater. So it's time we restored the good old ways. Today, the dragon games are reinstated at Ever After High!"

Shin got surprised. "She's going to do those games again."

Maya was watching and frowns. "This will not end well."

"The dragon games are tough, yet elegant. And I want my Ever After riders dressed accordingly. I've hired the creative team of Lizzie Hearts and Ashlynn Ella to design all-new dragon wear." Snow White said as Poppy and Holly came wearing the new styles.

"These looks are lightweight, flexible, and fashion-forward." Lizzie said.

"Not to mention fireproof, ice-proof, and explosion resistant." Ashlynn said.

To demonstrate, Holly's baby dragon blows a puff of fire at Holly, but her wear deflects it from affecting her. Poppy's baby dragon tries breathing ice. Poppy's wristcuffs take the hit, but the ice disperses quickly.

"Adorable! Now, I can't very well bring back dragon riding in an old dilapidated arena! If you'll all follow me outside..." Snow White said as they followed her. "Allow me to present the new Ever After High dragon center!"

Snow White makes her way to center stage while the clap.

"Hold your applause, please. I must admit, this was not my idea. My daughter Apple thought bringing back dragon games would unite everyone with school spirit!" Snow White said making some cheer for Apple.

"Way to go, Apple."Daring said.

Apple goes to talk to her mother. "Wow, mom, why didn't you tell me about all this? Why did you say it was my idea when it wasn't?"

"Oh, you're welcome, my little Apple dumpling." Snow White said.

"But mom, it's a lie!" Apple said.

"We discussed this! Sometimes you've gotta pull out all the stops and use your resources to get your fairytale back on track." Apple said.

"Whoa. Mira was right. We are different." Apple said.

"Who?" Snow White said.

"ME!" Mira yelled making the crowd gasp. "And you can't always just buy popularity, Snow."

"Miss Shards! Mind your manners!" Milton said.

"Mira Shard. Oh." Snow White chuckles. "You might have been once, back when we were in school." Mira makes a face at Snow. "I'd know that arched brow anywhere."

Apple got nervous at the scene and Shin noticed that.

"I just wanted to be closer to my daughter! You can understand that."Mira said.

"Daughter?" Raven said.

"And to be young again, maybe?" Snow White said.

"You'd have done it too if you could. So I suppose now you're gonna send me back to that awful mirror prison?" Mira said.

"Mom!" Raven now knows who she is.

"What?!" Shin said.

"Sorry, birdie." Mira changes into the Evil Queen. "Guilty as charged."

"How did she escape?!" Kivat came.

"Yay! The Evil Queen's here! Said no one ever!" Maddie folds her arms.

"Stand back, mother. I don't know how you escaped your prison, but I will not let you hurt my friends!" Raven said.

"Raven. I love that you're willing to fight with your magic powers, but you judge me too harshly. I don't wish harm." Evil Queen said.

"Oh yeah." Shin said.

"Yes, in fact your her lover, your one I wouldn't hurt." She said making the two blush.

"Also I just can help myself." She turns Rumpelstiltskin into a frog.

Hopper catches him. "Welcome to my world."

"Snow White, I am reformed. Ah! And now you have dragons. Why, what fun we could have had together." Evil Queen said.

"No more games, mother." Raven said.

"You remember, Snow." Evil Queen said.

"We did have an epic rivalry, you versus me - it hexcited the whole school!" Snow White said.

"Say, I could coach a team. Oh, if I wasn't sent back into the mirror. What do you say, Snow White? Or is the fairest of them all afraid of a little competition?" Evil Queen said.

"If I recall, the crowds were cheering for me. Okay, you're on." Snow White said making them gasp. "You won't snow what hit you!"

"I hereby grant the Evil Queen a temporary pardon."

"What?! How can you trust my mom not to be evil when she just turned a teacher into a frog!" Raven said.

""Evil"? Okay, I'm changing him back." Evil Queen changes him back. "There. You happy?"

"It will take more than that." They saw Maya come foward.

"Mom." Shin said.

Evil Queen looks at her. "Well you have the aura of a queen."

"Yes, also I have a proposal, I will join the games as a third team." Maya said making them gasp.

"But that never happened before!" Snow White said.

"Then let us spice things up." She said. "Why not make a little change to make it different, like how my son made the Roybels, we can have three teams for all three sides."

"Hmmm, I like her." Evil Queen smirks. "Why not."

"Well okay." Snow White looks at her. "We the three queens will be your coaches! Tomorrow, we will choose our captains and teams! Let us begin a new era of dragon games!"

Maya stares at them and frowns, since because of these games, the world could be in danger.

Note: The Dragon games are about to begin soon, Maya decided to join as she is a former Queen and she is trying to save the students by joining the games.
