Chapter 57 Dragon Games 6

Raven got picked as the new captain of light with the games starting back, Shin was on Toothless and he sees Raven pass by on Nevermore.
"I never expected to face you Raven." He said.
"Hey, i'm not letting up even if your my boyfriend." She smiles.
He smiles at her before Apple came.
"Apple it's just us." Raven said.
"It's our destiny, you against me. Doesn't this feel right?" Apple said.
The disc came up and Shin catches it.
"Right? Uh, my mom is free, and Darling is hurt, Apple." Raven said.
"I know. It wasn't supposed to happen, for real." Apple said.
"Then why even try it!" Shin said.
The two fly off with Apple chasing them.
"Don't you want vengeance? Doesn't your heart desire victory over me? Aren't you angry?!" Apple asked Raven.
"Apple what the hex are you doing?" Shin said.
"I want to know." She answered.
"Am I angry? Yeah, I am angry, Apple!" Raven said.
"Good. Follow your destiny!" Apple said.
"I am angry that you don't listen. I'm angry that you say you're my friend but are so selfish! It's all about what you want! What kind of friend refuses to listen?!" Raven glares at her.
"I just want our happily ever after." Apple said.
"And make Raven miserable!" Shin said.
"But..." Apple tried to talk.
"Forget it!" Shin throws the disk and Alistair catches it before scoring.
Shin and Raven went off with Apple going to the Evil Queen's side with a tear in her eye.
"It won't work. Raven won't turn evil." Apple told her.
"She doesn't have to. It is enough that others think she has. Now head back in, I've got this." Evil Queen aims a spell at Raven. "A smouldering fire, to a dragon flier, I summon forth uncontrollable fire!" She shoots it but then it got stopped by Maya who surprised her.
"I don't think so." Maya said.
But then the combination of both energies made a normal flames start up around the fields surprising them.
"Not what I expected but it will do." Evil Queen shrugs.
"Darn it." Maya grunts.
Snow White goes up to her. "You, up to your wicked ways again!"
"Me? These are just normal flames, it seems a accident happened." Evil Queen said.
"This ends now." Snow White takes out her mirror but it didn't work shocking her.
"Looking for this?" Evil Queen flicks the mirror and it shatters. She drops it to the ground and walks on it.
Daring noticed it. "Hey, I have one of those mirrors too! If it's good enough for the queen, then it's certainly good enough to capture Daring Charming's-"
"Daring Charming captured." It then captured him.
Mal looks back and was confused. "Where did he go?"
Shin and Maya went away and they watched as the scene goes off with the Evil Queen putting the fire out.
Milton also gave her control of the school but Maya noticed something wrong. "She changed him."
Blondie was making her report. "Book End, breaking news. Blondie Lockes reporting live at what's left of the new dragon center. Ever After: a devastating blaze! Headmaster Grimm just handed the Evil Queen the keys to the school. She vows to catch whoever started the fire, even if that's her own daughter Raven. The question remains: will this new headmistress restore order to Ever After High, her being the Evil Queen and all? Let's go live for her statement."
"Students, don't get overhexcited. I am but a temporary substitute. Milton Grimm will resume leadership as headmaster, as soon as this crisis is over." Evil Queen said.
"Shin we need to get the others ready." Maya said.
"Right." Shin nodded.
After that Shin went to the stables and saw Raven there with Nevermore.
"Raven." He calls out.
She looks at him and smiles. "Shin, i'm glad to see you here." She said.
"I saw what happened, they can't say it's you, the fire wasn't even purple." Shin said.
"That's the only thing that keeps me better." Raven sighs.
Toothless came in and goes up to Nevermore making her smile as they rubbed they're heads.
Apple came in. "Raven? Shin?"
"What?" They looked at her.
"Some of the students thinks it was you, while some are having a hard time." Apple said.
"Well it wasn't, a fire just happened." Raven said.
"Yeah, it was more like a accident that happened, which could be many things, a small spark causing flames to spread." Shin defended Raven.
"Well, don't worry, your mom has promised to restore order. And she's so powerful, I know she can!" Apple said.
"Oh, come on! Do you really believe she would? I mean really, really?" Raven grips Apple's arm.
"You should give your mom another chance! You're all about changing your story, Raven. Your-your mom broke out of that mirror prison and literally walked across broken glass just to be with you!" Apple said.
"Wait a minute, how do you know that?" Shin asked and they looked at her.
Apple got nervous and Raven gasps. "Your the one that set her free."
"She promised, she promised me my happily ever after, and not just for me, for you too! For all of us! You gotta admit, she has been a great dragon coach; she's fixed the fire damage... She's changed, Raven!" Apple smiles.
"No Apple you changed." Shin said.
"That's right. We are so not on the same page anymore. In fact, I don't even think we're in the same fairytale. I hope you find your happily ever after, Apple, I really do. But first, you better find a new roommate." Raven walks away.
"But, we were supposed to be friends forever after!" Apple said.
"That's not how the story goes, Apple. Not this chapter, anyway. You can't be on both sides. Good or evil. Pick one." Raven left.
Apple got sad and sits on the hay and Shin looks at her. "What were you thinking Apple."
"I just... I just... I just wanted all of us to be happy." Apple said.
"You can't trust a woman like Raven's mom, that woman is evil, not even your own mother is trust worthy, only my mom is the only person we can trust." Shin said.
"Your mom?" Apple said.
"Yeah, she knew there was something up and got those other guys to help out." Shin leaves her to think.
Shin walks foward before he got a text from Raven and it said: "Meet me at the stables tomorrow, we're leaving to the Echanted Forest. It seems she wants to hide to get away from her mother's control."
Shin made a text to his mother and sister to give them a heads up for everyone to be ready.
Tomorrow
He arrives at the stables and he saw Raven peeking out. "Shin come on."
He goes inside and he saw Darling, Holly, Poppy, Ashlynn and Maddie
"I thought it was just us." Shin said.
"Well, it might be dangerous. So we thought you could use some backup." Holly said.
"Good to have friends." Shin said.
"We'd better get a move on. Everyone, grab a dragon." Darling said.
They went to the dragons with Shin using Toothless before they fly off.
Faybelle arrived but just saw the other dragons eat.
"I'm too late! Bad dragons!" She said.
One of the dragons belch in front of her face and she got stunned before a bucket hits her head knocking her out.
Suigintou was above her. "Well that will delay her. "She flies off.
Later
"She did what?!" Evil Queen yells at Faybelle.
"I just said, she ran off to the Enchanted Forest, right before you yelled "She did what?"." Faybelle said.
"And you call yourself a minion. I've restrained myself because my daughter goes to this school of fools. If Raven is gone, I declare school is out, for evil!" Evil Queen makes storm appear in the sky.
The school starts to change but the Descendant kids came in they're dragons, Meatlug for Carlos, Barf & Belch for Gil, Thornado for Harry, Stormfly for Evie, Lightfury for Mal and Windshear for Uma.
"Come on!" Mal said as they helped some students and teachers escape before they left the area.
Evil Queen sees them and said: "So the other Queen had a back up plan, well let's play a game shall we."
Behind her were glass containers that had animals with each having the souls of Milton, Giles and Snow White among them.
"Shin, you must help us." Milton said.
Maya watches as the school is covered in darkness. "We must hurry, Raven is safe for now, but I must be near for if they try something with Apple."
Apple might be responsible for the Evil Queen's escape, but it doesn't mean she will leave her to rot.
Note: The fire was changed since Maya tried to stop it, but it just became a normal fire, events are changing a bit with the Descendant kids saving some of the others.
