Chapter 63 The Golden Crown

Shin was at the forest looking around, he then saw Apple sitting on a rock looking at the animals around.

He blushes and hides behind a tree. I can't believe i'm also dating Apple, well somewhat.

Apple sees something peeking out in the tree being his shirt. "Shin?"

"Oh no." He runs off.

"Shin wait!" She chases after him.

He looks back but he got hit by a tree. "Oh come on."

Apple checks on him. "Oh Shin are you okay?"

"Yeah, just fine." He said.

She helps him and asked: "Why did you run away?"

"It's just, after what happened i'm still nervous since this is new to me." Shin said.

"Oh." She chuckles. "That's so cute." Apple kisses his cheek surprising him.

"I'm not in a hurry, since i'm having a few problems of my own." She was nervous.

"Oh Daring." He said and she nodded.

"He's not been doing well lately." Apple said.

After Daring was not her prince, it's been akward between the two of them and she tries to avoid it as much as possible.

"Also your mother been pestering you again?" Shin asked.

"Sometimes, she wants you to be the perfect prince charming for me." Apple said.

"And my mother says to be just me. Like those two butt heads a lot, and Raven's mom likes my mother more." Shin said.

"Yes, those two can get along better if your mother wasn't trying to avoid her." Apple said.

Apple has been talking with Shin's mother and Maya does say she can be with Shin as long it's true love.

"You and my mother have been talking." Shin said.

"Yes, and I know how you feel Shin, you don't have to worry about going to fast, I just want you to be happy." Apple said.

"Well... Thanks Apple... Your wonderful." He smiles.

"It seems your spending more time with the Wonderland students a lot." Apple chuckles since he got the manner of speaking a bit.

"Well can you blame me? I like to spend at Maddie's shop." Shin said.

"Yeah, you go to their a lot, it seems you got attached." Apple said.

Shin thinks about it, it was one of the first places he's been in Ever After High, so it felt better when being with his friends there.

"Well anyway, what do you want to do Apple?" He asked.

She smiles at him. "How about a walk in the woods, since I feel much safer with you."

"Okay, that's fine." He smiles.

She holds his arm and they walked foward together.

"Say Shin... After legacy day did you threw a pie at me?" She asked.

"Oh no, that was Kivat." He said.

"Oh, I thought it was you since you cared a lot about Raven." She said.

"Well I don't like doing violence and that whole thing started with Kitty." Shin said.

Apple frowns. "Of course she did."

Apple can see Kitty causing that food fight since she always does pranks like that.

"Also remember that crown we found, what happened to it and did the headmasters told you what it does?" She asked.

"I don't know, they've been keeping it locked away, saying something for the right time." Shin said.

Apple wonders since that crown took a lot of work they had to find, since the Golden Castle was a story many wonder what the true end of the crown does to make them go through all those stories.

"Maybe it's some sort of power." Apple said.

"Maybe, but we can't know until the headmasters tell us." Shin said.

The safe was kept locked away to make sure nobody could have found it, not even the Evil Queen as she didn't find the crown since only the headmasters knew about them.

"All we can do is wait." Shin said.

Apple nodded. "Anyway let's go on our date." She takes him foward.

With Milton and Giles

The two were at they're office and Milton was looking outside his window.

"Well it was luck we managed to make the Evil Queen away from the crown." Giles said.

"Yes, she was too busy to find it, we were blessed for that moment." Milton said.

Giles looks at the safe. "That crown has the biggest destiny of them all."

"Yes the one that wears it will be the most important one... The King of Ever After." Milton said.

The crown is granted to those that are worthy, Milton read the books and it says that Castle picks those that are good of heart, royalty and brave.

Shin had all those qualities with the second coming from his mother's side.

"I know Shin will be able to give a new era to the Kingdom, as this is one story that many tried to do and failed to the point it got forgotten to the majority." Milton said.

"Yes brother, but maybe the time has come for a new King, Shin already has shown a form of a King already." Giles said.

Milton nodded. "Now only time will tell if Shin will rise up to the task and become the King."

"I know he can, since he did so much to protect others in need without anything in return." Giles said.

"Then let us hope brother." Milton said.

That crown can be used for both good and evil, as now it's out of he Castle it means many would try to get it which made them scared of the evil Queen finding it but they were lucky that time.
