Nothing to really add. Except this chapter has like a smudge of foreshadowing for the final chapters. There is a reason I mention Hanabi a lot now.

Sasuke put his hand over Hinata's mouth. "Quiet."

He barely got the word out. Pleasure flooded both of their senses at the moment. The two were in their bedroom in the beach house. Neji and Naruto were out in the large living room area playing with the kids and Tenten was in her and Neji's room taking a nap.

Sasuke and Hinata were originally in the kitchen. Getting dinner ready. Sasuke would stand over Hinata while she cut vegetables and she would feed him some in between cooking. Sasuke frowned. This was cute, Hinata being open and honest, but now Naruto was ruining the trip instead of him.

Naruto was a hard worker. He worked on off duty, when Sasuke would never. Naruto was always trying to better himself. Now was a time to relax, not work. "It's fine. Don't worry. I'll talk to him."

Hinata closed her eyes as she was still leaning against the door. "It is okay. I know Naruto means no harm. I do not want him to think I am upset. I just wanted more…of his time." Hinata sighed as she leaned up and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Sasuke closed his eyes and let out a breath. She said not to, but he would definitely be talking to Naruto.

"Oad"

Naruto smiled at Taika and Taifū. "Close. Now try saying it like Ōchō. Go ahead and say 'Toad' Ōchō."

His nephew smiled proud. "TOAD!" Naruto laughed at this and the two gave each other a high five. "Nice! Clear too! You're so smart Ōchō-kun." His nephew blushed and smiled brightly at Naruto.

Naruto looked at his sons now. "Okay. Taika you try first. Then you Taifū."

"Toad!"

"T-Toad!"

Naruto jumped as both the boys got it. Taifū had a slight stutter like Hinata, but that was perfectly fine. Naruto always helped him through it and they were all patient about it. He's actually gotten better over time.

The boys were outside on the beach. Naruto had took them out to burn off some energy. Plus a messenger toad came for him. So he was just filling out some documents and sending it back.

All three boys yelled in excitement when they saw the small toad take the scroll and vanish. Naruto looked at them with bright eyes and a big smile. "Cool right?!"

"Very."

Naruto turned to see Sasuke behind him. Sasuke had a dark red beach button up shirt. It was unbuttoned and open. Along with black beach shorts. Sasuke had on his black sunglasses and Naruto was beginning to think dōjutsu users needed to guard their eyes from bright lights. Hinata with her hat. Sasuke with his glasses.

Naruto looked at Sasuke confused because Sasuke looked angry at him. "What's wrong?" Sasuke looked down at the kids. His hands where in his pockets and he shook his head. "Not around the boys. Let's take them for a walk."

They did. The boys walked a little ahead of them so Naruto and Sasuke could talk in private. Naruto was dressed similar to Sasuke, except he wore a black top and dark orange shorts. "What's up?"

Sasuke watched the boys as they walked and played. "Princess is mad at you."

Naruto looked completely thrown off. "WHAT? What did I do?" Sasuke kept walking and Naruto now understood it was Hinata AND Sasuke upset with him. "What did I do? Just tell me."

"Why are you working so hard on vacation? What's so important back home? Hinata has been working as little as possible. Neji too. Yet, you're still HEAVILY working. Juggling work and kids at home along with spouses is hard enough to do. Why would you try to do it here?"

Naruto blinked in thought. He was hoping his stress load wasn't showing. "Kakashi is planning on retiring soon. Like in the next two years. I'm learning all his duties. It's a lot honestly." Sasuke nodded his head at this. "So you'll be there less for the kids and Hinata in the future. Noted."

Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose. "Sasuke."

Sasuke didn't want to hear it. "You wanted to be Hokage. You wanted a life with Hinata. Knowing her past. You wanted children. You wanted a life with me. You figure this out Naruto, because if Hinata's noticing now and not saying anything. By the time it really hits her, she'll break…and I won't forgive you if you hurt her like that."

Naruto's jaw clenched. He understood. "You're right. Sorry."

Sasuke continued to walk. Looking at the three boys ahead. "You can try all you want to make up for it now with the kids, but that won't save you for later. It matters now yes, but it'll really matter when they are older. So, like I said. Fix it…very soon."

Sasuke walked ahead to the boys. Walking in front of them. He smiled at all three of them and made it so he looked scary. He showed his teeth and the boys took off running. Laughing as Sasuke chased them. It was hilarious that they didn't scatter run. They ran in a group.

Naruto let out a sigh as he watched Sasuke. He'd make it up to her. He'd fix this and nip it in the bud now.

When Naruto, Sasuke and the boys got back. They could smell that dinner was ready. Tenten was setting the table and Neji was burping Hana. Hinata looked up at Sasuke and smiled at him as he was carrying both their boys in his arms. Sasuke walked up to Hinata and let the twins give her a big kiss before he gave her a smile and went to go get them cleaned for dinner.

Hinata looked towards Naruto and gave him a gentle smile as well. Like she was trying to convince him and herself she wasn't a little upset.

Soon dinner started and everyone was at the table eating. They've been there for two weeks and it has been very much relaxing. Almost like a therapy retreat as well. Everyone getting grudges that they held off their chest and addressing certain issues. It was a good vacation though.

Neji was sitting beside Tenten and Hinata sat across from him. He poured her some lemon water as he sparked up convo. "So Hinata. Hanabi has accepted a marriage proposal from Konohamaru. She'll be 18 next year and that is when they have set their wedding. She asked me to hand her over to Konohamaru as well."

Hinata was silent. They've been on vacation for some time for Neji to drop this on her now. He must have been thinking of the right time and way to bring it up.

She nodded her head acknowledging what Neji was saying. She knew this. Hanabi has done her best in avoiding Hinata and keeping in contact with Neji. Only communicating with Hinata when necessary. Like asking if she would be assisting with the finances of the wedding since she was clan leader.

Neji noticed Hinata being quiet. He looked up from taking a drink and stared at her. "So you must know she asked me to talk to you. About her transferring to Rain village."

Hinata slowly nodded her head again. "I am aware. She asked me and I denied her request."

Naruto was sitting on one side of Hinata and Sasuke was sitting beside Naruto. The twins sat on the other side of Hinata. Both Naruto and Sasuke looked over at Hinata. They never heard of this. Naruto looked at Neji and saw he looked a mixture of annoyed and challenging.

"Do you think I would not watch over her? Granted I shouldn't need to. Her future husband is a very capable ninja."

Hinata seemed unbothered by the question. She ate and looked calmly at Neji. "Oh, but he is Konoha's ninja. Very bright future ahead of him. Maybe if Konohamaru came to me instead of Hanabi I would have thought more about it. However, it seems he is just trying to accommodate Hanabi and sacrifice his own desires."

Neji's eyes widened and now he was looking at Hinata like she was a hypocrite. "Really?"

Hinata still seemed unphased by the slight jab. She continued to eat. She was pretty hungry. "Hanabi wants to leave now because she feels behind. She has failed her test for gentle fist master twice now."

Neji rebutted. "You've been administering the tests Hinata."

"I did not give her the Jonin exams. That she has recently failed."

Again Neji defended their little sister. "Considering you've had far more mentors and aid than Hanabi. I am sure she will get it the second try."

"Oh, but you had less help than me and Hanabi. Yet you were above all of us. Are me and Hanabi not always a step behind?"

Neji tilted his head as he looked at Hinata. "I'm a 'prodigy'. I didn't need the help you and Hanabi needed. Reason she'd do good with me, and I could aid her a little better."

Finally Hinata stopped eating and looked at Neji. "Why are you defending her? Do you think I would purposely hurt Hanabi? Just because I am the Hyuga clan leader, doesn't mean I will follow the previous one's footsteps."

Their grandfather. Their father.

Naruto placed his hand on Hinata's leg. "Hey. Calm down." Hinata frowned, but only for a moment. Her frown soon cleared to the notorious Hyuga blank stare. Naruto and Sasuke saw the stare and immediately checked out the conversation. Neji and Hinata were about to dig into each other.

Hinata looked at Neji with no hesitation in her voice. "She's not leaving Neji."

Neji now that he struck a nerve, continued to eat calmly. "I defend you and Hanabi. That's what I've been told to do forever. If you two need to be separated because you cannot forgive her for what happened. Then so be it."

Neji could see the underlying issue. Hinata loved Hanabi, but she didn't trust her sister at all. Especially since Hiashi died. Even though they covered up what Hanabi did, Hinata would never forget that Hanabi wasn't loyal. Especially to her own sister.

Hinata looked down at the table before she looked at Neji again. "She failed the gentle fists test. The elders said she wasn't ready. They were present during the exams just in case they too thought I was being too hard on her. Understand, Hanabi is still favored in the clan above me by a lot of the people with high positions. They deemed her unfit. Not me. Hanabi wants to leave because she cannot stand being a failure in Konoha, but she will simply have to grow up."

Neji didn't look at Hinata as he ate. "You're stubborn." Hinata caught the hidden meaning to what he was saying. Stubborn. Just like Hiashi.

Naruto's eye twitched just the slightest as he felt Hinata grip his knee under the table and dig her nails into him. Trying to control herself and not let Neji see he was in fact making her very angry.

Hinata still had her perfect blank mask on her face. Refusing for Neji to see her crack. "Don't. Don't do that Neji. You cannot do that to me."

Neji finally stopped eating and looked at Hinata. His own perfect blank mask on his face. Both Neji and Hinata were in reality getting pretty riled up, but they were so good at hiding it. "Are you telling me I cannot do that?"

Hinata's eyebrow twitched for a moment. "I am telling you…you're not being FAIR. Don't treat me like I am a monster because I don't agree with everything you say. I…am NOT changing my mind on this."

Neji shrugged his shoulders as he looked at Hinata. He rested his elbows on the table and arched his brow at her. "I'm treating you like you're hard headed. You try to take too much on. Hanabi is clearly a headache. I've been telling you that for years. I see her struggles and I see she is just making more work for you to clean up for her. She is still a hot head, and doesn't know when to shut her mouth to stay out of trouble. Sure she has someone that loves her, but it'll take time for her to simmer down and the more she fails and looks like a burden in Konoha the longer it will take for her to get her head out her rear end."

Again Hinata shook her head no and Neji just let out a sigh. "I get you two are on bad terms right now. This isn't going to fix it and it'll probably never be fixed Hinata. I think…you should come to terms with that."

Hinata shrugged her shoulders this time as she looked at Neji. "We can agree to disagree. Hanabi has to grow up. The world was hers and she let jealousy and anger stop her from thriving. She disrespects me and goes behind my back to you. Hanabi is playing two sides. The only time she speaks to me, is to help her out of a situation or to ask about funding for her wedding. I will pay for the wedding, I will let her move out the compound to be with her husband and grow a family."

She gave Neji a final look. Her eyes authoritative and calculating. "Other than that. She stays in Konoha where I can ensure she understands the morals of her bad decisions. She didn't listen when I told her to not interact with Danzo. She retaliates when she fails at something, and when I deny her requests for anything she goes behind my back and reaches out to you. Turning us against one another. Our previous leaders would do a lot worse than just deny her requests if she did all of this to them. You cannot deny that Neji…So, Hanabi will stay in Konoha until I decide otherwise."

It was quiet. Neji glared at Hinata for some time before a smirk crossed his face. "We haven't argued like this since you went to fight Danzo. I believe I won that argument." He laughed now. Hinata relaxing a little and smiling at her brother's bipolar personality. "I won that argument and now you've won this one. You have a point Hinata."

Hinata resisted rolling her eyes. Her family was stressful. "Honestly nii-san. I can't believe you spoil Hanabi so much."

Neji shrugged his shoulders. "I was trying to help. Hanabi stresses anyone out. I don't want you having another 'moment' on her again." He held in a laugh and Hinata heard Sasuke grunt. His own way at holding in a laugh.

"By the way. I don't think you're hard on her. The elders wanted her dead remember. The same punishment as grandfather. I'm sure to save their own skin in case Hanabi decided to name drop. YOU fought tooth and nail, while you were consumed in pain from the dark chakra to not have our little sister killed. Even though we all know what she did was wrong. I was just trying to help. I see Hanabi is still a touchy subject for you."

Hinata rested her elbow on the table in an unladylike manner. She let out a tired sigh and rested her chin in her palm. "She's just…so hard headed."

At this Neji and Hinata laughed. Neji smiled at Hinata and looked at her husbands. "I remember years ago, I told Naruto and Sasuke the same thing. After you fractured my nose from our fight out in that cold rain. I remember meeting them outside. All I could think about was how you gave me such a headache. You were always getting into something. I told them you were my headache and they couldn't have you. I think that is how you are treating Hanabi, but nicer."

Hinata was still smiling. A small 'o' came out her mouth. "So, I picked the habit up from you."

Soon dinner was over and everything was cleaned up. It's been routine now to get the children to sleep and the adults would go out to the bonfire and have adult conversations. Where they could freely curse and say what they wanted.

This time Naruto took the time to cuddle against Hinata and whisper in her ear. "Can we go for a walk? Just me and you." Hinata looked at Naruto curiously before agreeing. Sasuke watched the two of them and knew Naruto was going to talk to Hinata about earlier so he let them have their one-on-one time.

Naruto took Hinata's hand and gently helped her out the comfortable bean bag and the two went for a walk. Neji was half sleeping and he saw their silhouette leaving. He arched his brow curiously and looked as Sasuke, who waved the concern off. "It's fine. Don't worry about it."

Naruto and Hinata walked along the beach. It was a warm night, so Hinata had on a lavender tank top and sheer lavender bell bottoms. She walked barefoot and had a light sheer lavender duster on. Hinata held Naruto's hand happily and looked at the ocean as they walked. She listened to the waves thrashing and enjoyed the smell of the salt water.

Naruto smiled at how at peace Hinata looked. A beauty she was. He was so lucky to have her. To have his family now. He didn't want to lose this. He didn't want to mess this up.

"I'm sorry Princess."

Hinata turned and looked at Naruto confused. "What's wrong Naruto?"

He smiled nervously at her and scratched the back of his head with his free hand. "It's just. Ya know, Kakashi is kind of checked out already. He's named me his successor and has been showing me the ropes. He's been wanting me to really get some experience in and I guess…I guess I didn't know it was going to be this HARD. I had no clue I wasn't THAT organized. I'm horrible and I lose documents, take forever to find them. Take forever to read things. Then I have to ask questions. A lot of questions to understand anything before I agree to sign it or pass it."

Naruto looked up at the night sky and took a deep breath. "Like I only had to worry about myself. For a REALLY long time. Then I learned to worry about you Hinata. Then Sasuke. Now the kids. Soon I'll have a WHOLE VILLAGE to worry about and I didn't realize this was going to give me such anxiety. I have to be a good husband. A good father. A good businessman. A good Hokage. If I mess up in any of those categories, I've lost everything Hinata. It's a bit nerve wracking and I guess I didn't notice I was the one shutting you out this time."

Hinata's eyes widened and she shook her head to reassure Naruto it was all going to be okay. "N-No! It's fine Naruto. I-I told Sasuke not to bother you. I knew you were busy. I…was a bit frustrated, b-but I understand! Being a leader is not easy. It's scary at first. You fear about failing. I was very scared Naruto. I was 18 years old and terrified, but I had you and Sasuke. I had Neji. Support really matters."

Hinata stopped walking and looked at Naruto with love and trust in him. She knew he could do this. She had faith in his abilities. "Naruto. You never quit. You never give up. That is your ninja way. You are one of the hardest workers I know. You will find your place and balance. I am not going anywhere. I will be right by your side. Supporting you. Rooting for you. I love you Naruto Uzumaki. You have been there for me during my darkest hours, I will be there for you until I draw my last breath."

Naruto looked at Hinata and gave her a wet smile. This women. She just understood him. She understood that he wasn't perfect. That he got distracted easily. That he struggled with his roles and responsibilities. She still loved him. All Hinata wanted was his love in return.

"I shouldn't be doing work while I'm on vacation though. Kakashi wouldn't. So why am I? A little is fine, but I don't have to get so deep into it. I'm sorry about that. I'll make it up to you. I promise. I have to be the craziest guy in the world. My wife, my freaking beautiful wife. With her super soft skin. That glimmers in the moon light. Her beautiful eyes. "Naruto!" Hinata looked at Naruto with a heavy blush and he just brushed her off.

Hinata looked up from Naruto's chest and saw he looked serious. A little annoyed. He told her before the Hanabi topic was growing old with him. Her rudeness was starting to take its toll on him. "Promise me you'll tell me everything. All the details going on in OUR clan. I don't like that you didn't tell me about Hanabi. That's she's been a pain for you STILL. I'll start telling you everything going on in my head. All my stressors and we can work on it together to find resolutions for both our problems."

Naruto ran his hands through Hinata's hair. "I didn't like hearing about Hanabi just now Hinata. That's not fair. You're the Hyuga leader, but we talk about these things first. I know you didn't want Hanabi to go for your reasons, and on top of that because of Konohamaru. Which was for me. I know that. You should have told me that."

Hinata puffed her cheeks at being caught. Naruto leaned over and kissed her pursed lips. "Still. Thank you for looking out for me Hinata." He kissed her lips again. "In your own silent psycho way."

He leaned over and kissed her again and again. Their kisses growing longer and longer.

Naruto wrapped his arms around Hinata along with his tail, while she wrapped her arms around his neck. Melting in his hold immediately. "I forgot how much I missed this. I don't think we've done anything in like a week and a half. Too long?"

Hinata leaned up on her tiptoes and licked Naruto's lips. "Too long Naruto-kun."
