Chapter 36: New Neutrals turned Autobots.

In the Autobot base, Ratchet is hard at work on the monitors when the monitors suddenly detect a cluster of six Cybertronian life signals in the ghost town called New Ireland.

Optimus comes in and Ratchet says, "Optimus, we have detected six Cybertronian life signals. They're coming from a New York State ghost town called New Ireland in Cattauragus County."

And so, Optimus went to find the other two hundred and forty-two Autobots he has in mind for the mission.

In the ghost town, the Autobots emerge from the Ground Bridge portal and they transform to robot mode before deploying their weapons.

Optimus then says, "Aerialbots, Protectobots, Technobots, Delightabots, Fossilbots, Relicbots, Fogeybots, Dodobots, Stodgebots, Mossbackbots, Titanbots, Hulkbots, Giantbots, Jumbobots, Behemothbots, combine into Superion, Defensor, Computron, Jubilion, Triumphion, Gleeion, Troglocus, Fossilizer, Fuddicus, The Beast, Mega Dinobot, Dreadnoughticus, Giganticus, Bulkicus, Juggernaut, Whoppericus, and Titanicus."

The eighteen combiner groups combined into their combiner modes, and the combiners brought out their weapons.

Just then, the first Cybertronian stepped out from the buildings in robot mode.

The Cybertronian in question was a Neutral, a Grounder Neutral at that.

The Grounder Neutral was a mech taller than Ratchet but still smaller than Optimus, and twenty-five percent of his frame looks like Bumblebee's original Cybertronian form if he had scanned an Earth vehicle mode resembling Bumblebee's Cybertronian vehicle mode, while another 75% of his frame looks like Lockdown, Knock Out, and Dead End put together.

Then, the rest of the Neutrals came out, another two Grounders and three Seekers.

Optimus says, "Neutrals, identify yourselves, please."

The first Neutral answers, "I'm Cowergale, and these are Impeltract, Vacateslay, Pompgrove, Stumpify, and Ripful. We're currently the last six members of the Neutrals, but after we had seen the horrors committed against Autobots, Neutrals, and humans, as well as the fact that we had witnessed our fellow Neutrals dying of Energon starvation and being executed by Decepticons for refusing to join them, let's just say we had no choice but to allow you Autobots to detect our signals so we can join you."

Optimus lowers his weapons and asks, "And why would you consider joining us now, this late in the war?"

Stumpify answers, "Our commanding officers refused to let us join you. They forbade it as long as they were in charge, so, by the time the Decepticons captured them, we had escaped, left them to die. Believe us, Optimus, we didn't like this anymore than either of you right now, but it was absolutely necessary so we can finally have the freedom to choose a side in this war."

Optimus then approaches Cowergale, seemingly the leader of the group, and Optimus says, "Even though your actions were unorthodox, welcome to the Autobots."

Optimus and Cowergale shake servos, and in no time at the base, the six Autobots were given the coined team name of the Defendobots, and they were given a combiner mode by the name of Artillerion, an Autobot combiner who looks like a small amalgamation of Devastator and Liokaiser.

In no time, the Autobots welcomed their new recruits and their new addition to the ranks of the Autobot Combiner Corps.

Smokeedge in his workshop was shocked because he received a transmission message from one of his old friends, Subverse, and the message said that sixteen additional Autobots by the names of Galatriaose, Trovebag, Galatine, Galatone, Winter, Rainbow, Hail, Cloud, Cutlassswitch, Bayonknife, Pocketblade, Lancecutter, Flitter, Flailer, Vibrater, and Agitater, the crew of the Nebula-16 Starship Battlecruiser, will be arriving on Earth in two days.

Smokeedge was given a visual picture of the femmes in question, and he shook his helm to clear any incoming thoughts of sexual desire, not wanting to start anything and not wanting to cheat on his long-lost sparkmate, Scratchblade, who was separated from him when the Ark and the Nemesis went through the unstable Space Bridge portal and both sides worked together and against each other against the Quintessons. And the last time Smokeedge heard from Scratchblade, she had settled down with lots of other Autobot refugees and given birth to Acidglitch, Ionglitch, and Novaglitch, triplet Seekers who over the years since then grew to become new recruits in the ranks of the Aerialbots.

Smokeedge then says to no one in particular, "Well, if these femmes are gonna come to Earth, I'd better make sure that even Optimus, Elita One, and Ratchet set up some rules."
