Long ago, in the time of the Ancient Egyptians, Maya, and Sumerians; a green flash was seen across the sky as the entire world was turned to stone.
But the Ancients were smarter than we are today. They had many great thinkers and scientists that broke free and lauded the Medusa as a deity. As some of them awakened mankind, the others retreated with the "crystal" to an island. They wisely reasoned that the key to immortality must be kept secret from mankind.
But the world grew jealous of Atlantis and their long lived population, and soon turned against them, and the attack began; the war for control of the magic crystal from the stars.
The sky was clear when a hug explosion caused the creation of a giant wave.
An Atlantean guard named Ginro caught sight of it and cried. "The fools will destroy us all!"
"The wave is gaining, we have to warn Atlantis!" His brother Kinro cried.
Ginro groaned as the wave gained. "Too late! Every man for himself!" He dove behind a pillar.
The wave splashes got them, as the rest of the Atlanteans went toward the center of the kingdom.
Kinro rolled his eyes at his brother and cried in Atlantean. "[Everyone to their shelters! Everyone to their shelters!]"
Many Atlanteans ran around in panic from the tsunami.
Ginro, who had gone to protect the royals, said to the Queen. "[This way your highness. Quickly!]"
Queen Kasumi knelt to her daughter Kia. "[Kia, come on!]"
She took Young Kia as she tried to get her journal stuffed with paper and notes.
"[Kia! Just leave it! There's no time!]"
And then, there was a warm green glow, and the Queen's eyes lit green. The king, Kathek, saw this, and gripped his daughter's hand, as the small device landed in the Queen's hand.
"Mahtim! [Mother!]" Kia cried, but the Queen ignored her daughter and gazed at the small device.
The Queen whispered. "{10,000 km, one second}"
A great green light encompassed the island. Some of the people of Atlantis entered inside the shield before it closes, but the rest try to get in, but couldn't as the tsunami came toward them.
"Mahtim!" Kia's last words as she was petrified.
"[Close your eyes, Kia! Look away!]" the King cried as he too was petrified.
The petrified island sank peacefully to the bottom of the sea, where it remains…to this day.
And all of this was watched by a strange traveler….
