This will be the last thing related to my Touhou-RWBY fanfic that I'll post. This was an idea that was meant to be in the fourth part of it, but due to... things... I ended up stopping my fanfic as a whole (well done, you lot. You won...). You would have used it as an excuse to shit on me, anyway.
Neopolitan found herself on Youkai Mountain, during her mission regarding the finding of Ruby, only to fall into disappointment. She sighed, closing her eyes and shaking it, "This was a waste of time" she said, slowly turning to face in the opposite direction, only to succumb to a stop after hearing a vivid laughter. She frowned and moved her head in the direction of where she thought the sound came from, "What… What was that?"
She looked effortlessly for the sound, but wheresoever she looked, the sound was admittedly without her vision. The laughter became emitted once more, withal a resonance. Looking in areas for the obtrusive tone, she looked above as it had got louder, until she saw some mysterious figure atop a pillar. Above, she saw a blackening-dressed character with the hands not visible, an atom-figured construct with what looked like a round object in it and one eye covered.
"Can I help you?" queathed Neo. Rather this, she heard only more resonating laughter until… the figure spoke. "Did You come to play with Me?" it asked before devilishly laughing more. "That's none of your business." Neopolitan retorted, moving her umbrella to her and turning the opposite direction to then begin her motion, only to have that figure appear in front of her and thenceforth causing Neo to open her eyes wide.
"Then why are You here? Hmmm?" Without thinking, Neo attempted assaulting the figure with her umbrella, only for the person in question to grab and move it, disappearing only to then reappear herself hugging Neopolitan. I didn't realise how soft You are", putting its face onto Neo's left shoulder. Annoyed, she shouted "Get off!" with a tightening grip on her umbrella, squirming to remove her and turn with haste, firing her umbrella twice in the direction that the figure had presently been in.
The figure laughed more, with the eerie tone of the voice. "Why did you take Me away? I thought We were the Same…" "Why would I associate myself with someone as annoying as you?" queathed more of Neopolitan, looking around for the fleeting character. "What's wrong? Am I really that forgetful?" she found the blackening figure in the sky. Neopolitan slammed her right hand on her forehead and rubbed against it with her forehead with a disappointed look, responding with "I don't have time for this" and retracting both to then speak again, "I'm going.", turning with a hand gesture to express her leaving.
The figure frowned and groaned, forthwithal laying its right hand out in front with nothing but darkness hidden within it, shooting out a brambles from the sleeve that sped towards and blocked Neo's way. "Just a minor blockade. Nothing that I can't handle." Neo removed her umbrella to reveal a weapon that was hidden within in order to strike at and cut the bramble, dropping down to the ground. This caused the figure to bring them all back, Neo herself sheathing her weapon.
Tilting its head, the figure spoke, "Why are You so mean to Me? lI just wanted to play. I'm just so… very… lonely…" "I'm sure someone will come along and give you attention. I'm just not into this type of nonsense." Neopolitan gave her final farewell and went on her way.
Overlooking Neo's departure, the other entity became saddened and started sobbing with a quavering sound with its head down, "You are just like Everyone else. No One wants to be with Me. No One truly wants Me. Please… Please… Just stay… stay…", before saying more, itself looking angrily into Neopolitan's direction and exclaimed "PLEASE STAY WITH ME!" and spraying more of the brambles at Neopolitan. Neo, herself, took quick notice of this after hearing the commotion and saving herself by way of her Semblance, as she shattered like that of a mirror upon being hit from the botany. "If You don't want to be with Me, then I'll force You to stay!
