My Pov

Ahh... I didn't want to get up. It had been a long time since I had a good night's sleep like this. I opened my eyes slightly and noticed the room was brighter. Sun must be coming up... just five more minutes. I closed my eyes and began to drift off when...

"Heeheehee... don't you all have to be up to clean the school?" a voice asked. My eyes snapped open and I was greeted by the sight of the ghosts!

"Ahhhh!" I screamed. This caused Grim to snap awake.

"What are ya yellin' for- Ffgya!? The ghost are back?!" Grim exclaimed. I heard numerous footsteps running toward my room, before the door flew open. My sisters all piled into my room, before stopping.

"Yikes! What're the ghosts doing here?" Ran asked, hiding behind Fumino.

"I thought we drove you guys out." Tora said.

"Are you all going to be living here now? You're all going to get pranked. Kekeke!" the skinny ghost laughed.

"Shoot. We'll get rid of you eventually!" Grim said. Then, Crowley appeared.

"Good morning, all. Did you all sleep well?" he asked.

"I was all sprawled out until I fell out the bottom!" Grim said. We each voice our small complaints about each of our rooms. "Then she woke me, this is the worst!"

"The ghosts woke me up!" I said.

"Even though you just got toss over from another world you can still be cheeky, wonderful!" Crowley said. Glad he thought so. "I came to speak to you about your work today. Get dressed and meet me in the dorm longue." All of us got dressed and went downstairs to the longue.

"What do you need for us to do, sir?" Hikari asked.

"I need each of you to clean parts of the campus." Crowley said. The whole campus? That might be a bit much, even with twelve of us. Well, thirteen. "But the campus is quite large. Cleaning it all without magic would be impossible. So, I will delegate responsibilities to each of you. Tora and Mikan; you two will clean the greenhouse." Both of them nodded. "Hikari and Yurina; you two will clean the library." Crowley said. They both nodded. "Arisa and Azuna; you two will clean the kitchen and cafeteria." Both of them nodded. "Emiko and Sayumi; you will clean the classrooms." Both of them nodded. "Fumino and Nagisa; the two of you will clean the clubrooms, especially the Science Club room." Both of the nodded. "Finally, Kokomi, Ran and Grim; you three will clean Main Street from the main gate to the library."

"All right, sir. We'll all get right on it." Ran said.

"And girls, please watch Grim closely so he doesn't cause a scene like yesterday." Crowley said.

"Of course." I said.

"I'm counting on all of you. You also have my permission to have lunch in the school cafeteria. Take care of your work enthusiastically." Crowley said, before departing back to the school.

"Tsk... No way I'm doing any cleaning. I wanna go to class and, bang! Boom boom boom! Use a bunch of awesome spells~" Grim said.

"You're going to behave yourself, lest you get us all kick out of the school." Emiko said.

"Once we're all done cleaning, we can go study in the library." I said. I heard Grim muttering under his breath. We all ate a small breakfast and then headed out. Everyone else went ahead of us toward the school, while me, Ran and Grim stopped at the statues that were along Main Street.

"Wow!" Ran said.

"Uwaaah~ Amazing. So this is Main Street." Grim said. I didn't get a good look yesterday, but what's with these statues? All seven of them are pretty scary." Grim said. I looked at the nameplates of each statues; The Queen of Hearts, the King of Beasts, the Sea Witch, the Sorcerer of the Sands, the Fairest Queen, the King of the Underworld and the Thorn Fairy. These must be figures of great importance to the school.

"I don't know why, but this one just radiates a pompous vibe." Ran said, pointing to the Queen of Hearts statue.

"Wonder what kind of person she was?" I asked.

"You don't know about the Queen of Hearts?" a voice asked. We turned to see Arley and two boys I didn't recognize.

"Hi Arley!" Ran greeted.

"Hello Ran-san. Hello Kokomi-san." Arley greeted. I could actually see Arley face clearly now. I noted that he had short white hair that seemed to fade into a red-pink color near the ends.

"Arley, you know them?" one of the boys asked. He had short dark navy hair, cyan-colored eyes and black spade mark over his right eye.

"Yeah. These are the girls I told you about from the ceremony." Arley said.

"This granny was a queen?" Grim asked. That's when the other boy began to explain; the Queen of Hearts had ruled many years ago and was incredibly strict. If anyone defied her rules or step a toe out of line, they'd lose their heads.

"That's terrifying!" Grim exclaimed.

"That's... kind of scary." Ran said, looking unnerved.

"She sounds like an more like oppressor than a queen." I said.

"Nobody would listen to a queen who's just nice all the time, right?" the other boy asked. I then took note of the other boy's appearance. He had fluffy orange hair, scarlet red eyes and a heart mark over his left eye. I had to say, he was kinda cute.

"I guess I see your point." I said.

"I suppose. A strong leader is better." Grim said.

"I guess." Ran said.

"By the way, who are you two?" Grim asked.

"I'm Ace Trappola. A fresh-faced first year. Nice to meetcha." the boy with the heart mark said. So his name is Ace.

"I'm Deuce Spade. Also a first year." the other boy with the spade mark said.

"I am Grim. A genius who'll become the greatest wizard. The dimwits over here are Kokomi and Ran. They're some of my henchman." Grim said.

"Since when did we agree to that?!" Ran asked, clearly unamused.

"You two have odd sounding names." Ace said. Well, going by the names I've heard so far, our names probably do sound strange.

"It's nice to meet you." I said. Grim asked Ace to tell him about each of the other statues. Ace began explaining each one and what they each stood for and their accomplishments that warranted their importance. Wow. They all sounded powerful, but something about them all seemed familiar.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Ace asked. Ran and I nodded. That's when a smirk appeared on Ace's face as he turned to Grim. "Unlike a certain raccoon." Uh oh.

"Myah?!" Grim exclaimed. That's when Ace erupted into laughter.

"I can't hold it back anymore!" Ace exclaimed.

"Ace, what's so funny?" Arley asked.

"Come on, they're the ones who turned the entrance ceremony into such a fiasco, right?" Ace asked, pointing from me, to Ran and then Grim. "The twelve summoned by the Dark Mirror who can't even use magic, and the monster no one summoned at all. It took all I had to not burst out laughing in the middle of the ceremony!"

"Hey, you don't need to be so rude to them." Deuce said. Ace looked annoyed.

"So you girls couldn't be enrolled?" Arley asked.

"No. We're the janitors now." I said.

"It's not my fault they're all clueless about the Great Seven." Ace said. He then turned to us. "Maybe you should try going back to kindergarten before trying to enroll at the academy again?" Okay, now I'm getting irritated. Unfortunately, Ran's fuse was way shorter than mine.

"Hey! Knock it off! We had enough of deal with jerks like you back in our world, so quit it!" Ran snapped. Her cheeks started turning red from her anger.

"Grrr..." Grim growled.

"Okay, let's just all take a step back from each other before someone loses their cool." I said, putting myself between the boys, my sister and Grim.

"Whatever, I've got real classes to attend. See ya later!" Ace said.

"Sorry, but I've got to go too." Deuce said, turning to head toward the school.

"Maybe we'll meet up at lunch..." Arley said, waving as he hurried after Ace and Deuce. Just as I started to get back to cleaning-

MYAAAAAH!
