Another of the usual dreams, but this one is about a song which Lincoln hasn't forgotten since he was found and taken care of by the hellhound whom he calls mom. Enjoy reading this new chapter folks!

Helluva Loud Adventures.
"Dream Alternate: A Song remembered."

(I.M.P Headquarters.)

Just another usual day, and at the office of the company we see the kids are all here and just playing with each other, oh and the rest of the team is out doing some killing, leaving the door to the whole place locked to keep others from coming inside.

Luan is with Lynn, and they both roll the balls around, and then they go over to the toy racetrack and watch the toy cars go around and move fast, this makes Lynn smile and clap, and so Luan hugs her. Luna is on the couch, and she is reading a book on the history of musicians.

Lori is with Leni, and both of them brushing the hair of their dolls, and then Leni grabs her plush seal and she pokes the nose which makes it squeak and she hugs it. Lori smiles seeing this, and is thinking of when they can visit the Ars Goetia family.

But where is the baby, and their hellhound mother?

Within the bedroom, this is where Loona is, and she places the empty bottle of milk and she burps her infant son, and after he burps he giggles and smiles. Loona then looks to the baby and she sees him yawning, and she can tell that he is sleepy.

"Looks like someone here needs a nap." Loona shares a nose kiss with her son. "You feeling sleepy there my little pup? Are ya?" This makes the baby laugh, and he waves his arms around and then touches the muzzle of the hellhound, which makes her smile. Then he yawns and rubs his eyes.

Loona chuckles. "Now that's enough to say that you are a sleepy little baby." Loona then rocks her son back and forth, as she walks around. This movement does make him tired, but then the hellhound whispers a song.

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate.
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you.

You better let somebody love you.
(Let somebody love you)
You better let somebody love you before it's too late.

Loona then stops, and she sees that the baby is now asleep. She then places the sleeping infant into the crib, and she lets him hug his plush wolf and kisses his forehead. Loona smiles at what she did. "Sweet dreams, little one." Loona then takes her leave, and also left the baby radio on just in case.

But as Loona goes to check on her other kids, she is hugged at the legs by Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan and Lynn. She smiles, and can tell that they were watching the whole thing, and so she hugs them all in return.

(Many years later, Royal Woods.)

Little Lincoln, the 4 year old boy of the family heads out from the bedroom which he shares with Luna, and at the moment she is not there. Luna went off to attend a field trip and deep down Lincoln kinda misses her, but he goes to his mothers room if he wants the company.

Lincoln then checks each bedroom, and he doesn't see his sisters Lori and Leni, but he does see Luan is reading a book, and then she recalls that Lynn Jr. is in the backyard and playing with Roxanne Wolf. Lincoln then heads to where his mother is, but her office door opens and he sees her.

Loona notices her son. "Hey kiddo, where are you off to?"

Lincoln then asks. "Mommy, can I watch some TV?"

Loona smiles. "Sure thing, kiddo." Loona then heads downstairs, and with her son following. Loona then recalls, Lori and Leni are with their friends and Summer and Dia are doing something else somewhere in hell with Angel Dust.

Loona and Lincoln make it to the living room, and the pet chicken Lela is asleep on the arm chair, but she wakes up and then walks over to Lincoln, and so he picks her up and sits on the couch with Lela on his lap. Loona then has the remote and she turns on the TV to see what her son can watch.

Loona sees some channels with shows and movies, but they aren't good for her son, and this confuses him. But then Lincoln hears something as his hellhound mother is channel surfing. "Mommy, can you go back please?"

Loona is confused. "Sure, okay." She goes back a little, and then Lincoln grabs the remote. "What the heck?" She sees what the channel is, and it is a concert of a band, and the song that they are playing, fascinates Lincoln.

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You've been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one
I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you
Can hurt you somehow

Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy.
She'll beat you if she's able.
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet.
Now it seems to me, some fine things.
Have been laid upon your table.
But you only want the ones that you can't get.

Loona is surprised to see and hear this, and then she looks to her son who is confused, and then he asks. "Mommy why does this song sound so familiar?"

Loona smiles, and she sits on the couch with her son and she rubs his hair. "That's because, I used to sing this to you back when you were such a small and cute baby, and it also helped you sleep." Lincoln nods, and he continues to watch this concert, and this is something Loona didn't see coming.

"I like this song, mommy" replied Lincoln.

Loona smiles. "Same here, kiddo. Same here." She then pulls her son close to her, and they continue to watch this concert.

(Many years later again.)

Walking back home, and with school done for the day, and thank god that it's Friday too. We see an 11 year old, Lincoln Silva Hound, and he is not too far from his house. Lincoln is also wearing headphones, and just letting the songs play as he walks home.

But then another song plays one which he knows and likes, and so he sings with it as he is walking.

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You've been out ridin' fences for so long now.
Oh, you're a hard one.
I know that you got your reasons.
These things that are pleasin' you.
Can hurt you somehow.

Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy.
She'll beat you if she's able.
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet.
Now it seems to me, some fine things.
Have been laid upon your table.
But you only want the ones that you can't get.

Desperado, oh, you ain't getting' no younger.
Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home.
And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin'.
Your prison is walking through this world all alone.

Don't your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine.
It's hard to tell the night time from the day.
You're losin' all your highs and lows.
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate.
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you.

You better let somebody love you.
(Let somebody love you.)
You better let somebody love you before it's too late.

Lincoln is already in the house, and he closes the door. He does see Luna and Sam in the living room. "Hi, sis. Hey Sam." He then heads back upstairs, and this surprises Sam from what she heard from Lincoln.

"Whoa. I didn't think your little bro liked that song, or even sings it, and he is a good singer too" replied Sam.

Luna chuckles, and she explains. "That's because back when Lincoln was a baby, our mom would sing that to him, and it would help him sleep…."

"And he hasn't forgotten about it ever since." Loona comes out from the dining room, and she smiles seeing her son go back up to his room, and deep down she is happy to know that he hasn't forgotten the song she would use, to help calm him down. "I doubt he would ever forget it."

"To be continued folks!"
