It's been a year. A year of working his fingers to the bone to create fliers, promotional posters, and whatever else he could think of to ensure that 3LW would survive. Would benefit. Would thrive. The fact that it's made this long is incredible to him. He squints in the somewhat unhelpful light of the lamp to his side, trying to ensure that everything is spelled correctly, is legible, is... appealing. He's still staring at the image when arms slowly snake around him, pressing him back, flush against familiar warmth.

He smiles a bit. "Hola, Alicia," he says, resting his hand on hers, lacing their fingers together when she presses a kiss to his jaw.

"Hola," she responds cheerfully. "Hard at work on these posters again, huh?"

"Yeah," he sighs, leaning back and rubbing his eyes. "Hey, would you mind taking a little at these? I think if I stare at them any longer, I'm going to go blind. Maybe you can find any little error I may have missed."

"Of course," she says, easing around him to look closer.

"Thank you," he sighs, dropping down in a chair next to the table and trying to scrounge up some energy, any kind of energy.

"I think it looks good, I don't see any errors," Alicia says after a few minutes of meticulous staring. She turns as Ricardo slumps in relief, chuckling softly as she settles down on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him as he holds her in place. "So now that that's sorted," she teases, leaning in to kiss him.

He hums, returning the kiss. "You sound like you have something in mind," he says languidly, resting his hands low on her back.

"Yeah," she giggles. "Maybe I do. Are you done here for the night now?"

He hums, glancing back over at the desk. "Yeah, I can be," he says, waggling his eyebrows teasingly at her. "What do you have in mind?"

She beams, standing back up and reaching out for his hands. "Well, let's go find out."

Ricardo nods, taking her hand and following her out of the room, leaning in one last time to shut the lights off for the night.
