With the use of Jack Sparrow's compass, the HMS Dauntless arrives at Isla de Muerta. It was a dark, partly cloudy night. Hidden among the rocks that lined the island, three longboats floated gently in the water. With Commodore Norrington in the lead boat, Jack Sparrow sat behind him, while closely guarded by Murtogg and Mullroy. Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut sat in another boat alongside them. Through the lens of his spyglass, Norrington stared out at the Black Pearl, the ship's deck appearing empty. Devon gazed out at the Pearl through a spyglass of his own.
"There's the Pearl. Deck looks empty. Barbossa and his crew must've already made their way onto the island." Devon says
"I don't care for the situation. Any attempt to storm the caves could turn into an ambush." Norrington says
"Not if you're the one doing the ambushing. I go in with my mates and we convince Barbossa to send out his men with their little boats, you and your mates return to the Dauntless and blast the bejeezus out of them with your little cannons, eh? What do you have to lose?" Jack says
"Nothing I'd lament being rid of." Norrington says
"Now, to be quite honest with you, there's still a slight risk to those aboard the Dauntless, which includes the future Mrs. Commodore." Jack says
Norrington seemed to take Jack Sparrow's words into consideration as his eyes glanced down in thought.
Later, onboard the Dauntless, Lieutenant Gillette and two Royal Marines escorted Elizabeth Swann to the captain's cabin as a precaution per their Commodore's order, taking her by her arms while she struggled against the marines holding her. The young woman was given some new clothes, now wearing an open, long-sleeved red jacket along with a white shirt, pants, and black shoes.
"Sorry, but it's for your own safety." Marine #1 says
"The Commodore, there's something I have to tell him! The pirates, they're cursed! They can't be killed!" Elizabeth shouts
Upon reaching the captain's cabin, the marines release the young woman inside, and the lieutenant steps up.
"Don't worry, miss. He's already informed of that. A little mermaid flopped up on deck and told him the whole story." Gillette says with a mocking smile
After saying that, Gillette shuts the doors to the cabin and heads back to the upper deck while the two marines guarded the cabin, leaving a frustrated Elizabeth trapped inside.
"This is Jack Sparrow's doing!" Elizabeth shouts slamming the doors with her hands
Elizabeth turned to her left with her back to the door and sighed as she catches her breath. She then looks around the cabin for anything that would help her situation. She needed to escape and help the others.
Out on the water, Jack Sparrow and the world-travelers rowed in their boats with Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Jack in one, and Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut in the other.
"We'd better split up. Hiccup, Astrid, you and the others head for the Pearl, free the dragons, Gibbs, and the crew. We'll go deal with Barbossa." Devon says
"Got it! We'll catch up when we can." Hiccup says
And so, the group went off in separate directions. The Viking Teens rowed their boat out towards the Black Pearl, while Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack Sparrow continued onwards toward the island.
"So, Jack, I assume you have a plan?" Devon asks
"Aye. That I do. Just let me do the talking. Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, it's time you mates learned on how to make a deal in piracy." Jack says
Inside Isla de Muerta, the cave of treasure filled with light as Barbossa and his crew entered with their torches. Barbossa held a green apple in his right-hand, while Will Turner, guarded by a band of pirates, moved along with Pintel and Ragetti while wearing the gold medallion around his neck.
"No reason to fret. Just a prick of the finger, a few drops of blood." Pintel says
"No mistakes this time. He's only half Turner. We spill it all!" Twigg says grabbing Will by his shoulders
Pintel and Ragetti watched as Will was forced onwards, then turned to each other.
"Guess there is reason to fret." Pintel says
Ragetti snickers, and the two men followed the other pirates as they gathered in the cave.
Moments later, the blood ritual was underway, and the cave echoed with the chanting voices of the pirates same as before.
"Blood! Blood! Blood! Blood!" The pirates chant in unison
In the center of the cave, Barbossa held up the ceremonial knife in his right-hand, standing up on the treasure heap beside Will Turner on his right, who was restrained and forced down over the ancient stone chest by Koehler and Twigg.
"Begun by blood. By blood un..." Barbossa says
Before Barbossa could perform the blood ritual, again, Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jack Sparrow appeared as they entered the cave, to the initial and utter shock of the cursed crew. They sashayed their way past the crowd of pirates up to the front.
"Ahoy! Treasure, mateys!" Sora says
"Devon! Sora! Jack!" Will exclaims happily
Barbossa stared in utter disbelief with widened eyes and a shocked expression on his face.
"It's not possible." Barbossa says
"Not probable." Jack says
"Yeah! We're alive, and we're pirates!" Donald says pointing to himself with his right thumb
"Where's Elizabeth?" Will asks
When Jack reached the front of the pirate crowd, Bo'sun grabs him by his left-shoulder, preventing him and the world-travelers from moving up any further.
"She's safe, just like I promised. She's all set to marry Norrington, like she promised, and you get to die for her just like you promised. So, we're all men of our word, really. Except for Elizabeth, who is, in fact, a woman." Jack says
"Shut up! You're all next!" Barbossa says
Turning back to Will Turner, Barbossa brings his knife to the young man's throat, ready to spill his blood and lift the curse.
"You don't want to be doing that, mate." Jack says
"No, I really think I do." Barbossa says glancing back over his right-shoulder and nodding his head
"Your funeral." Jack says shrugging his shoulders
Barbossa paused after hearing this. He knew he'd regret listening to his former captain, but it was obvious that Jack knew of something that was apparently a danger to himself and his crew. Moving the knife away from Will's throat, Barbossa turns to face Jack Sparrow.
"Why don't I want to be doing it?" Barbossa asks
"Oh, because..." Jack says
Jack slaps Bo'sun's hand, causing the dark-skinned man to release him, and he steps up closer to the treasure heap.
"Because the HMS Dauntless, pride of the Royal Navy, is floating just offshore." Jack says pointing off to the right with his hands
"Waiting for you all to come out." Devon says crossing his arms
All the pirates murmured in concern. The name of the great vessel, which had been the scourge of pirates in the Caribbean for years, had quickly sent them into a panic. The pirates realized that if they lifted the curse now, they would be doomed to die at the hands of the Royal Navy.
Outside, Commodore Norrington and his marines remained in their boats, floating patiently in the water as they waited to ambush the pirates.
"What are we doing here?" Murtogg asks
"The pirates come out... unprepared and unawares. We catch 'em in a crossfire, send 'em down to see Old Hob." Mullroy says leaning over to his partner
"I know why we're here. I meant, why aren't we doing what it was... what Mr. Sparrow said we should do, with the cannons and all?" Murtogg asks
"Because it was Mr. Sparrow who said it." Norrington says glancing back over his right-shoulder before facing forward again
"You think he wasn't tellin' the truth?" Murtogg asks looking at Mullroy on his left
Back in the Treasure Cave, Jack Sparrow now stood up on the treasure heap to Barbossa's level and offered him a proposition. Will Turner listened closely from his spot, as did Devon, Sora, Donald, and Goofy from their spot, interested to hear what Jack had to say.
"Just hear us out, mate. You order your men to row out to the Dauntless. They do what they do best." Jack says gesturing to Barbossa's crew with his hands
The pirates cackled with sinister laughter.
"Robert's your uncle, Fannie's your aunt. There you are with two ships. The makings of your very own fleet. 'Course, you'll take the grandest as your flagship, and who's to argue? But what of the Pearl? Name me captain. Me and my mates, we'll sail under your colors. I'll give you ten percent of me plunder, and you get to introduce yourself as... Commodore Barbossa. Savvy?" Jack says gesturing to Barbossa with his hands
"I suppose, in exchange, you wanted me not to kill the whelp." Barbossa says glancing over at Will Turner on his left
"No, no, no, no. Not at all, by all means, kill the whelp. Just not yet. Wait to lift the curse..." Jack says
Jack glances over at Will Turner on his right and stares at him for a moment.
"...until the opportune moment." Jack says
Will stared at Jack with a curious expression as he heard the familiar phrase. Barbossa looks over at Will again, following the gaze of his old nemesis, then looks back at Jack as he continued with his proposition.
"For instance..." Jack says
Jack scoops up a handful of gold coins from the stone chest with his right-hand and holds them up.
"...after you've killed Norrington's men." Jack says
To make his point, the pirate drops the coins one-by-one back into the chest, the clinking of the gold hitting gold emphasized Jack's words.
"Every... last... one." Jack says
Will stares at Jack and saw him slyly slip one coin up into the billowing sleeves of his shirt. It was then that he realized that this was the opportune moment Jack was talking about, when it would be most profitable to him.
"You've been planning this from the beginning, ever since you learned my name." Will says
"Yeah." Jack says
"I want 50% of your plunder." Barbossa says
"15." Jack says
"40." Barbossa says
"25. I'll buy you the hat. A really big one. Commodore." Jack says
Barbossa stared at Jack, enticed by his offer, and smiled.
"We have an accord." Barbossa says
The two captains shook hands on the deal and turned to the pirates below them. Barbossa opened his mouth to speak, but Jack inadvertently spoke first.
"All hands to the boats!" Jack exclaims spreading his arms out
An awkward silence fills the air. Immediately realizing his mistake, Jack turns to Barbossa.
"Apologies. You give the orders." Jack apologizes
Smiling, Barbossa turns back to his crew and gives out his order.
"Gents. Take a walk!" Barbossa says
And with that, the pirates all turned and walked away, heading for the cavern's exit.
"Not to the boats?" Jack asks raising his right-eyebrow with a confused expression
Barbossa looks over at his rival and simply smiled. Pintel and Ragetti walked along with the other pirates until they were stopped by Bo'sun, who held out two parasols in his left-hand. The dark-skinned man smiled for a brief moment before going back to his usual frown. He had other plans for these two men.
Outside the caves of Isla de Muerta, the clouds parted, revealing a bright full moon. Underneath the water, shafts of moonlight pierced the murky blue, illuminating a school of fish. Suddenly, the fish scattered in all directions as they detected movement. And from the shadows, the Black Pearl's undead crew walked along the seabed, marching towards the unsuspecting Dauntless. Under the moonlight, their flesh disappeared, leaving only their skeletal bodies visible underneath their tattered clothes. And in their hands were swords and pistols. The cursed pirates passed underneath the ship's hull, and their flesh returned for a moment in the shadows until they walk back out into the moonlight.
Out in the water, Commodore Norrington and his men sat in their longboats, unaware of the impending danger facing those onboard the Dauntless. All eyes were trained on the cave's entrance. Then, a longboat rowed into view. The Royal Marines all aimed their rifles at the boat, but their leader stops them.
"Hold fire!" Norrington commands glancing back over his right-shoulder
Norrington and the marines curiously watched the boat as it rowed further out in the water. Inside this boat was Pintel and Ragetti, still in their flesh with their parasols shielding them from the moonlight and dressed in women's clothing. As Pintel rowed, Ragetti smiled, twirling his yellow parasol about.
"This is just like what the Greeks done at Troy. 'Cept they was in a horse, instead of dresses. Wooden horse." Ragetti says
Pintel just rolled his eyes and continued to row the boat. While Norrington and his men were distracted, the pirates began climbing up the ship's anchors.
Aboard the Dauntless, Governor Swann made his way toward the captain's cabin to speak with his daughter. He approached the two marines that guarded the doors and asks for privacy.
"A moment please?" Weatherby says
The guards take leave from their posts and walk away, heading elsewhere on the ship.
"Elizabeth?" Weatherby calls
Governor Swann knocks on the door four times with the back of his right-hand to gain his daughter's attention and praise her on her decision to wed Norrington earlier that day.
"I just want you to know I... I believe you made a very good decision today." Weatherby says
Inside the cabin, Elizabeth turned and glanced over her left-shoulder at the sound of her father's voice but made no move to answer him or open the door. She was preoccupied with a secret task. Outside, Weatherby Swann sits down on a crate next to the left-side of the door as he continued.
"Couldn't be more proud of you. But you know, even a good decision, if made for the wrong reasons, can be a wrong decision." Weatherby says
At the bow of the ship, Twigg peeks his head up and gazes out at the few marines patrolling the deck.
On the other side of the Dauntless, up on the upper deck, Gillette and his men stood around until the steersman noticed something odd out in the water.
"Lieutenant?" The steersman calls
Gillette turns to the sailor, who directed his attention to Pintel and Ragetti out on their longboat. Taking out his spyglass for a better look, the Navy Lieutenant puts it to his left-eye and watched as Ragetti waved the fan in his left-hand to them.
"Yoo-hoo!" Ragetti says
While everyone was distracted, Twigg, with a dagger in his mouth, waves his right-hand to the rest of the pirates, and the skeleton crew silently climbs aboard the Dauntless.
Back near the captain's cabin, Governor Swann was still seated near the door, expecting a reply from his daughter. Instead, there was only silence, which he felt was rather odd.
"Elizabeth? Are you there?" Weatherby asks glancing over his right-shoulder
Still, there was no response from inside. Now, the Governor was becoming very concerned as he rose up from his seat.
"Elizabeth, are you even listening to me?" Weatherby asks
Weatherby Swann opens the door to the cabin and heads inside to check up on his daughter, only to discover that she was gone. Elizabeth had escaped out the window at the back of the cabin and had climbed down to a single longboat floating in the water near the ship's stern, having used a long line of knotted sheets serving as a way down. Now, she was in the boat, rowing away from the Dauntless.
Down on deck, one of the cursed pirates approaches the first Royal Marine from behind and kill him by slitting his throat with his cutlass. The second marine was lifted off his feet by another pirate, and he gagged until he falls dead onto the deck. Like an evil wave, the cursed pirates made their way across the ship, killing any Royal Marine in their path. Soon, they began to approach the stairs to the upper deck, where Gillette and his men were stationed.
Over at the captain's cabin, Weatherby Swann walks over to the open window and saw the line of sheets. The Governor glanced out the window and sighed.
"Oh, what have you done?" Weatherby says
Out in the sea, Pintel and Ragetti, still dressed as women, rowed ever closer to the Dauntless. For moments of confusion, all eyes were focused on them.
"Whoo!" Ragetti says
"Stop that! I already feel like a fool." Pintel says
"You look nice, though." Ragetti says
Pintel growled angrily. Unable to take the humiliation any longer, he puts down his parasol, turns around to his right, and whacks Ragetti in the back with his arm, causing his partner to drop his parasol, revealing their cursed forms.
"I look nice?!" Pintel shouts grabbing Ragetti's throat with both hands and strangling him
In the midst of their little squabble, the two pirates stopped and looked up at the Dauntless. Gillette lowers his spyglass and stares out at them in shock and surprise. Now knowing they were discovered, Pintel grabs his pistol with his left-hand and fires at Gillette, knocking off his hat, which lands near the stairs just as the rest of the cursed pirates climbed up the steps, revealing themselves. And with that, the attack began. Gillette, the sailors, and the Royal Marines rushed forward, their guns blasting, and swords drawn to the pirates' surprise attack.
Below the helm, Governor Swann heard the commotion and went over to the cabin door, only to see a skeleton stab a marine through the chest four times with his own musket. Slamming the door shut, he locked himself in the cabin to avoid the cursed pirates and sunk to the floor, terrified. The pirate stabbing the marine closest heard the door shut and glanced over at his right for a moment but shrugs it off and moved onto his next target in the violent conflict.
As the battle raged outside, Captain Jack Sparrow busied himself looking through the vast treasure of Isla de Muerta that littered the cave, while Devon, Sora, Donald, and Goofy stood nearby, also curious about the treasure. He picked up a gold Aztec statue, posed as if sitting on a throne, and gazes upon it with curiosity. Will Turner stood off on the side, glaring at Jack. He was guarded by Jacoby on his right, and another pirate named Weatherby, a white-skinned man who had brown eyes, a blonde mustache, and a short beard of the same color, wearing a dirty white shirt, brown trousers, and black boots. A third pirate named Monk, also a white-skinned man, sat down on the ground nearby, tossing flat rocks across the waters of the cavern. He had brown eyes and scraggly black hair, wearing a tan bandana, a dirty white shirt, and brown pants. And Barbossa, himself, sat alongside the treasure heap where the stone chest stood.
"I must admit, Jack, I thought I had you figured, but it turns out you're a hard man to predict." Barbossa says glancing over at his rival on his right
Jack turns to face Barbossa and descends down from his pile of treasure with the gold statue still in his hands.
"Me? I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can trust to be dishonest." Jack says
Jack tosses away the gold statue back onto the piles of treasure, which clattered loudly, as he continued his descent and his explanation, moving closer to the distracted Monk.
"Honestly, it's the honest ones you want to watch out for. Because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly stupid." Jack says pointing to Barbossa with his hands
Suddenly, Jack reached down and grabbed a sword out of Monk's belt and, with a kick of his right-leg, sent him flying into a puddle of seawater.
"Now!" Jack says glancing back at the two Keyblade Wielders and their companions
Devon and Sora summoned their Keyblades: Soul Calibur and Kingdom Key, and Donald and Goofy summoned their weapons: Mage Staff and Knight Shield. Goofy throws his shield like a frisbee at Jacoby, hitting him in the chest, while Donald aims his staff at Weatherby and uses a Fire spell, blasting him away from Will Turner. Devon and Sora jump down and helped free Will from the rope that bound his wrists, cutting them off using the blade of Soul Calibur.
"Thank you, Devon, Sora." Will says
"No problem." Devon says
"Anytime." Sora says giving a thumbs up with his left thumb
Jack tosses an extra sword from his right-hand to Will, who catches the weapon by the hilt. Startled, Barbossa rose to his feet and draws his rapier. Jack Sparrow pulled out his sword it's scabbard and rushed to fight his rival. The sounds of clashing blades filled the cave as Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Will Turner fought Barbossa's crew, ducking in and out of the moonlight.
In their duel, Barbossa swings his sword at his rival, attacking with wide side slashes. Jack parries and cuts off the blue peacock feathers on Barbossa's hat with a high left slash.
"Ha-ha!" Jack laughs
Barbossa glanced up at his hat for a moment, then looked back down at Jack. Snarling in anger, he attacks his nemesis again, swinging his rapier aggressively. Jack parries his blows and moves around to the right, dodging Barbossa's blade as they continued their duel.
Will parried Jacoby's sword as they exchanged blows until his opponent backed up into the moonlight. He paused and stared at the pirate infront of him with a shocked and surprised expression. Where he expected to see a man, he saw a skeleton. In his cursed form, Jacoby growls, then shouts at his adversary.
"Raaaaah!" Jacoby shouts
Attacking aggressively, Jacoby thrusts his sword at the young man with two lunging strikes, but Will Turner parried his blows and punches him across the face with his left-hand.
Nearby, Weatherby clashes blades with Sora, swinging his cutlass wildly from left to right, while he parried his attacks. After blocking the fifth strike, the spikey-haired teen counters with a downward slash, knocking the pirate away. Weatherby staggers backwards in four steps until he stops directly underneath the moonlight, revealing his skeletal form. Weatherby growls and casts a menacing glare at the Keyblade Wielder.
"Aaaaarrr!" Weatherby shouts
The pirate charges forward and raises his cutlass to strike, while Sora took up a defensive stance, holding his Kingdom Key infront of him, and braced himself. Just as Weatherby swings his sword down, Devon steps in from the left, sliding infront of Sora, and blocks the blade with Soul Calibur, holding his crystal Keyblade horizontally to the left with both hands gripping the hilt. Weatherby's blade clashes against the strong crystal blade of Soul Calibur with a loud clang. Devon swings the cutlass away to the right and hits the pirate across the face with a quick left strike, causing his head to spin multiple times. Weatherby stops his head with both hands and his eyes widened when he saw Devon's Keyblade pulled behind his back in his right-hand, ready to attack. Before he could react, the young hero strikes the pirate with an uppercut slash, knocking him off his feet, then spins around to deliver a roundhouse kick with his right-foot, kicking Weatherby in the chest and sending him flying into one of the many piles of treasure. Devon and Sora shared smiles with each other for a moment, then turned back to face the skeletal pirate as he got back up and charged at them.
On another side of the cave, a skeletal Monk swings his sword at Goofy, who blocked his attacks with his shield. On the sixth strike, the pirate and Dog Knight engaged in a brief struggle, pushing against the other's strength. Eventually, after six seconds, Goofy pushes Monk back, shoving his blade away to the left, and knocks him away off his feet with an uppercut strike using his shield. The pirate staggered backwards in three steps, but quickly recovered and glared angrily at Goofy. However, before he could attack again, Donald steps in, raises his Mage Staff up into the air, and casts a Thunder spell, summoning lightning bolts out of nowhere that strike down on Monk, zapping and electrifying his skeleton body.
Jack and Barbossa parried across the cave, their swords flying furiously as each man tried to outdo the other. Barbossa attacks with two quick strikes and a high right slash. Jack parries the first two strikes, then ducks his head down, dodging the third attack. Next, the villainous Pirate Captain swings his rapier with a high left and a mid-right strike, which his opponent also parries. Finally, Barbossa thrusts his sword at Jack with a lunging strike, but the wily pirate slides his sword away to the left and spins around. As their blades locked, Barbossa pulled Jack closer.
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters!" Barbossa says smiling wickedly
After saying that, Barbossa turns to the left and pushes Jack away as they continued on with their fierce battle.
Outside on the water, Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut rowed their boat up beside the Black Pearl, along her starboard side, and gazed up at the pirate ship.
"Alright. We're here. Let's go get our dragons." Hiccup says turning to his friends over his right-shoulder
Rising up on their boat, the Viking Teens prepared to head up along the ladder on the ship's hull. But before they could begin their climb, they heard something approaching on the water behind them. Turning around, the group saw Elizabeth Swann rowing towards them on her boat after escaping the Dauntless right before the pirate ambush.
"Elizabeth? What are you doing here? I thought you were left onboard the Dauntless." Hiccup says
"I'm here to help. I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. Not with Will's life in danger. I care about him." Elizabeth says
The Viking Teens stared at the young woman, and they all understood Elizabeth's reasons for wanting to help. Hiccup and Astrid sympathized with her most of all. They cared about Devon the same way Elizabeth cared about Will Turner. Nodding his head with a smile, Hiccup accepted her aid.
"Alright. Let's get going." Hiccup says
And so, the group began climbing up the side of the ship. During their climb, they peeked into the lower deck of the ship through one of the cannon holes and saw two pirates sitting at a table, which was covered with food. These pirates were named Mallot and Grapple.
Mallot was a tan-skinned man who had blue eyes, long grey hair, and a thin grey beard that hung from his chin. He wore an open grey jacket that sported seven silver buttons on the right-side of his hem, a grey shirt underneath, grey pants, black boots, and a weathered tricorne hat. He was named for the heavy wooden mallet he always had with him.
Grapple was another tan-skinned pirate who had a muscular physique, brown eyes, a black mohawk hairstyle and a goatee, wearing a dark brown vest, beige pants, and brown boots. He earned his nickname from the grappling hook he carried with him as a weapon.
The two men were looking from one treat to another, trying to decide what they would eat first when the curse of the Aztec Gold was lifted.
"Right. Ha! What should we pick to eat first?" Grapple laughs
"I think we should decide now, just so we're ready when the time comes." Mallot says
Continuing their climb upwards, Elizabeth and the Viking Teens reach the top and pull themselves onto the Pearl's main deck. There, across from them, they saw Luna, Spyro, Cynder, Toothless, Stormfly, Meatlug, Hookfang, and Barf and Belch all together.
"Toothless!" Hiccup exclaims happily
"Stormfly!" Astrid exclaims happily
Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut rushed over to their dragons. Toothless smiled and happily wagged his tail upon seeing his rider. The one-legged boy kneels down beside his dragon and placed his left-hand on his head.
"I'm so glad you're okay. Hold on. I'll get you out of this." Hiccup says
Taking out his dagger from inside his vest, Hiccup cut the ropes that binded his Night Fury. He starts with the one around Toothless' head, then moves down along the length his body, cutting the next eight sets of rope. Once he was free, Toothless stood up, shook himself off, and stretched his body, wings, and legs, relieving the numbness of being tied up for so long. Then, the black dragon turned to his rider and nuzzled himself against Hiccup's scrawny body, giving him a lick to the right-side of his head and crooning in content, while he hugged him firmly.
"You really had me worried there, bud." Hiccup says
While the rest of the teens freed their dragons, Elizabeth helped Luna, Spyro, and Cynder. She took out a dagger of her own and cut the rope around Luna's head, then moves onto the rest until she was freed. As Elizabeth went over to help Spyro and Cynder, the female Night Fury rose up, stretched her body backwards like a dog, shook herself off, stretched her wings and flapped them twice.
"Ahh... Thank you, Elizabeth." Luna says
"You're welcome. The pirates didn't hurt you, did they?" Elizabeth says
"No. They just mocked and teased us for the most part." Luna says
The Viking Teens and their dragons walked over as Elizabeth freed the purple dragon and the black dragoness.
"Where's Devon and Sora?" Spyro asks
"They're on the island with Jack Sparrow, trying to save Will from the pirates." Elizabeth says
"We've got to help them." Cynder says
"Right. But first we need to free Gibbs and the rest of the crew. They're still locked up below deck in the brig." Luna says
"Then let's bust them out." Astrid says
However, before the group could proceed with their rescue, Jack the Monkey drops down on a rope infront of them in his undead skeleton form, screeching loudly and ferociously. Although everyone was startled, they weren't scared of the small creature. Unlike last time, Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at the monkey with a brave expression. Alongside her, Luna narrowed her eyes as well, growling menacingly at the small creature. A surprised and confused expression forms on the monkey's own face as he tilted his head to the left.
Below deck, Mallot and Grapple were cutting themselves a slice of the white and blue cake that was on their food table when Jack the Monkey fell overboard. The small creature landed on the cannon right next to them with a clunk. Mallot and Grapple looked up upon hearing the noise.
"What's that?" Mallot and Grapple say in unison
The two pirates turned their heads to the cannon hole and saw the undead monkey sitting on the cannon outside before he fell over to the left and splashed into the sea. Up on the main deck, Elizabeth, the Viking Teens, and the dragons looked down over the side of the ship, knowing that the pirates would've seen Jack fall overboard. At the same time, Mallot and Grapple looked out the hole to the water below, then up to the deck, catching a brief glimpse of the group as they backed away. The two men ducked back inside and ran up to the deck. As the group backed away,
"Elizabeth, we'll lure those pirates away, you free Gibbs and the others." Astrid says
Elizabeth nods her head and hurriedly descends down below deck, while Hiccup, Astrid, and the others quickly mount their dragons. She could hear Mallot and Grapple's shouting as they hurried up from the gun deck and hides away to the right of the stairs behind a stack of crates. The pirates run up the stairs and into the moonlight outside, changing into their skeletal forms. Once they were gone, Elizabeth continues down to the brig.
Inside the brig, Gibbs and the rest of the Motley Crew sat around in their cell, muttering over their misfortune, until they heard footsteps coming from the stairs.
"Shh!" Gibbs says
Turning to the stairs, the crew saw Elizabeth as she came down to help free them.
"Miss Elizabeth!" Gibbs exclaims happily grabbing the bars to the cell
Aboard the Dauntless, the fighting between the Royal Navy and the cursed pirates continued. Men and skeletons slashed at one another with swords, filling the air with the sounds of battle cries, groans, clashing steel, and pistol and musket shots. The sailors and marines quickly realized that their foes could not be killed, but still they fought for their lives, determined to hold out long enough for the curse to lift or at least die fighting.
In their boat, Pintel and Ragetti reached the Dauntless and climbed aboard through one of the ship's cannon holes with Ragetti climbing in first and pushing the cannon away.
On the main deck, a wounded sailor reaches with his right-hand for the ship's bell and pulled down on the rope, causing it to ring loudly in a desperate call for reinforcements.
Out in the water, still waiting to ambush the pirates, Commodore Norrington and his men were alerted by the clanging sounds of the bell and turned back to the Dauntless. Hearing the sound of battle, Norrington realized the Dauntless was under attack and ordered his men back to the ship.
"Make for the ship! Move!" Norrington shouts
Back aboard the Dauntless, the ship's bell continued to ring until the ninth toll when a cursed pirate drives his sword down the sailor, finishing him off and silencing the bell. In the ship's gun deck, Pintel and Ragetti, knowing that Norrington and his marines were heading back to the Dauntless, loaded the ship's cannons and fired at the boats, turning their own weapons against them.
"To the ship! Hurry!" Norrington shouts
Norrington and his men rowed their boats across the water as fast as they could, dodging cannonballs fired at them, which strike dangerously close to the boats, kicking up tons of water into the air.
On the ship, Governor Swann was still hiding in the captain's cabin behind the door as the fighting outside raged. Suddenly, one of the skeletal pirates peered through the glass and caught sight of the cowering governor. Weatherby Swann ducked down and crawled away when several skeleton hands smashed through the glass panels of the door to try and grab him. One managed to snatch the Governor's wig, pulling it off. Determined not to let the undead fiend abscond with his wig, Weatherby Swann grabbed his wig with both hands, engaging in a tug-of-war with the pirates until he grabbed a large candlestick on a drawer behind him with his right-hand and brought it down on the pirate's arm, causing to break off.
In the Treasure Cave of Isla de Muerta, the duel between Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa continued. Barbossa drove his rival back with several side swipes. Jack parries his blows until he trips and falls backwards down onto the stone cave floor. Standing before his adversary, Barbossa drops his own sword and taunted his former captain.
"You can't beat me, Jack." Barbossa says spreading his arms out
Taking advantage of the cursed captain's unguarded moment, Jack jumped up to his feet and drove his sword through Barbossa's chest.
"Ha!" Jack shouts as he struck
Looking down at the hilt sticking out from his rib cage, Barbossa merely rolled his eyes to the left and sighed. With both hands, he pulled Jack's sword free and drove it back into its owner's chest. A stunned silence fills the air as Jack stared down at the sword jutting from his chest with widened eyes, while his rival smiled devilishly. Jack Sparrow stumbled backwards into a shaft of moonlight, where his body of flesh turned to bone, to Barbossa's astonishment.
Across the cave, Will banged the hilt of his sword against Monk's head, which was currently stuck inside a gold jar, and pushed him away, then paused mid-fight and looked over to see Jack's skeletal appearance. Even Devon, Sora, Donald, and Goofy paused from their fight to witness the event as well. Jack, himself, looked over his cursed form with intrigue as his turned his right-hand over and under in the moonlight.
"That's interesting." Jack says
Jack Sparrow pulled out the gold coin he took from the stone chest and clinked it across his skeletal fingers four times back and forth from between his thumb and index finger to his pinkie and ring finger before catching it back in his thumb and index finger.
"Couldn't resist, mate." Jack says smiling
Enraged, Barbossa picks up his sword and charges at skeleton Jack, while he pulled his sword out from his chest. The two Pirate Captains fought in and out of the moonlight now, two skeletons in epic battle. Again, Barbossa advanced toward Jack, attacking with a high right strike, a mid-left and right strike, and a thrusting strike. Jack parried his blows and slides his blade away, countering the last strike with right elbow strike to the face, knocking Barbossa down and sending him rolling down the cave incline. Jack chases after his rival to engage him again, and Barbossa rolls up to his feet, swinging his sword left and right.
Outside, the cannons of the Dauntless continued to fire at Norrington and his marines as they continued rowing back to the ship.
In the captain's cabin, the severed arm began crawling across the carpeted floor towards Weatherby Swann, who grabbed a map holder off the captain's table and swatted it several times until it went still. The Governor picked up the skeletal arm to examine it when it sprang back to life and reached out to claw his face. Opening the drawer behind him, he drops the bony arm into the drawer and shuts it. Even then it continued to put up a fight, forcing the trembling Governor to hold the drawer shut.
Back in the Treasure Cave, Will parries Jacoby's sword as he attacks with a high left strike and a mid-right strike, then leaps away to the left as the skeletal pirate lunges at him with his blade, stabbing Weatherby instead as he came up. Weatherby cries out in pain and swings his blade left and right, trying to hit the young Turner. Moving around behind Jacoby, Will ducks his head down twice, dodging his sword as it swoops overhead both times. Then, he thrusts his blade forward, only to miss again as Will leaps back to the right and stabs Jacoby. The two pirates glance down at the swords in their chests, then look at each other before turning to Will Turner. Pulling out their weapons, Jacoby and Weatherby chase after Will, while he moves away across the cave. Sora rushes to his aid and stands alongside him, fighting Weatherby, while Will Turner continues his engagement with Jacoby.
Nearby, Jack and Barbossa swung their blades back and forth at one another, exchanging blows with several side swipes and strikes. At one point, Jack swings his cutlass with a wide left slash and Barbossa leaps away, stumbling backwards against a pile of treasure behind him.
"So what now, Jack Sparrow? Are we to be two immortals locked in an epic battle until Judgment Day and the trumpets sound? Hmm?" Barbossa asks
"Or you could surrender." Jack says spreading his arms out
Jack swung his blade down at Barbossa, but missed as he rolled away to the right, dodging his attack. Jack climbs on top of the pile, his body also turning skeletal in the moonlight, and turned left to face Barbossa as he fiercely continued his attacks. Barbossa swings his sword left and right at Jack, but he leaps upward, performing two small jumps in the air and dodging his rival's blade as it sweeps across under his feet. Jumping down, Jack commences his attack, swinging his cutlass with a downward and upward strike, another downward strike, and a high left and right strike. Barbossa parries his blade and spins around counterclockwise, striking back with a left punch across Jack's face, knocking him down.
"Ahhhh!" Barbossa shouts
Barbossa raises his sword and proceeds to swing his blade down on his rival until the crystal blade of Soul Calibur comes in out of nowhere from the left and blocks his strike.
"Huh?" Barbossa says
Barbossa and Jack turned to Devon as he stood alongside them with both hands gripping his Keyblade. Before Barbossa could react, Devon swings his blade over and around to the right, then kicks the Pirate Captain in the stomach with his left-foot, sending him staggering backwards in four steps.
"Mind if I cut in?" Devon says
"How 'bout I cut ye down, welp!" Barbossa says
Now engaging the Keyblade Wielder, Barbossa charges at Devon, attacking with a thrusting strike, but the young teen parried his blade, sliding it away to the right. Striking back, Devon attacks Barbossa with a high and low right strike, a downward strike, a left mid strike, and a reverse roundhouse slash. Barbossa parried his blows and charges the young hero again, swinging his sword from side-to-side four times. Devon leaps backwards, repeatedly dodging his blows, then counters with a quick right slash across the chest. He strikes back with a butterfly kick down on Barbossa's head, and an uppercut slash across his body, knocking the pirate into the air, then leaps up and kicks him back down to the ground with a roundhouse kick through his extended left-foot. Barbossa crashes onto a pile of treasure, while Devon lands alongside Jack Sparrow, who was now back on his feet.
"Nice moves, mate." Jack says impressed
"Thanks." Devon says
The Keyblade Wielder and Pirate Captain turn back to face Barbossa as he pushes himself up to his feet, grabbing his sword. Devon and Jack held their blades out as they stood together.
"Shall we?" Jack says
"Let's." Devon says nodding his head
Standing together, Devon and Jack Sparrow fought Barbossa as he charged towards them, shouting in anger.
"Ahhhhh!" Barbossa shouts
Over on the Black Pearl, Mallot and Grapple walked along the main deck, searching for any intruders onboard the ship. They peer over the railing on the port side of the vessel to the water down below but saw nothing. The pirates turned away from the railing. Suddenly, a female voice called out to them.
"Oh, boys." The voice says
Mallot and Grapple looked up and saw Luna, Spyro, Cynder, Toothless, Stormfly, Meatlug, Hookfang, and Barf and Belch hovering over them with the Viking Teens mounted on their dragons. Luna was the one who spoke.
"Looking for us?" Luna says with a smirk and a raised right-eyebrow
The two pirates stared up at the group until they heard an approaching creaking noise behind them. Turning around, Mallot and Grapple exclaimed in shock when they saw a suspended longboat swinging straight toward them. Before they could even react, the longboat smashes into the skeletal pirates, sending them overboard in pieces. The Motley Crew, responsible for hurling the longboat into the pirates, emerged onto the deck and cheered loudly. Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons touched down as Elizabeth moved forward from the crew.
"Everyone, with me! Will is in that cave and we must save him!" Elizabeth says
Walking over to the longboat, Elizabeth grabs the rope to the rigging that lifted the boat.
"Ready, and heave!" Elizabeth says
Elizabeth paused for a moment after receiving no additional support from the crew and turned right to face the sailors as they just stood there, staring at her.
"Please, we need your help. Come on!" Elizabeth says
The crew stood silent until Cotton's parrot squawks.
"Squawk! Any port in a storm." Cotton's parrot says
"Cotton's right. We've got Pearl." Gibbs says glancing up at the Pearl's black sails for a moment
"And what about Jack? Are you just gonna leave him?" Astrid asks
"Jack owes us a ship." Marty says
"And there's the Code to consider." Gibbs says
"The Code? You're pirates. Hang the Code and hang the rules! They're more like guidelines, anyway." Elizabeth says
Gibbs and the Motley Crew simply stood silent and shared glances with each other.
Moments later, Elizabeth now rode on Luna's back as she, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, Stormfly, Fishlegs, Meatlug, Snotlout, Hookfang, Tuffnut, Ruffnut, and Barf and Belch all flew towards the island to help Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Jack Sparrow, and Will Turner, while the Black Pearl sails away into the night with Gibbs and the crew. The young woman was fuming.
"Bloody pirates." Elizabeth grumbles
"Ah, who needs them! We've got our dragons. We can take on Barbossa and his bunch of pirates." Snotlout says
"It's fine, Snotlout. They're just doing what they think is right." Hiccup says
"Alright, c'mon! We need to help Devon and Sora!" Astrid says
While Elizabeth, Luna, Spyro, Cynder, the Viking Teens and the dragons flew towards the island, Pintel and Ragetti climb onto the main deck of the Dauntless to join their pirate brethren in the battle against the Royal Marines. Pintel clashes blades with a marine and punches him away with a left punch to the face, while Ragetti shoots another marine with his pistol. As yhey fought the British, Ragetti notices something strange happening out in the sea.
"Oi! Is it supposed to be doing that?" Ragetti says pointing out with his left index finger
Pintel and Ragetti gaze out towards the sea, and they saw the Black Pearl sailing away. They realized that the ship was being stolen by the Motley Crew.
"They're stealing our ship." Pintel says
"Bloody pirates!" Ragetti shouts
Eventually, having survived the cannon fire, Commodore Norrington and his men finally reached the Dauntless. With swords and pistols drawn, they leap onto the deck and engage the enemy. Now, it was a full-on battle, Royal Navy against skeleton pirates.
"Come on! Yaaaaah!" Pintel shouts pointing his sword forward
Taking out his pistol, Norrington aims his gun at Koehler and shoots him in the right-shoulder. Koehler staggers back after being shot by the Commodore, but he charges at him with his sword. Norrington draws his own sword and engages the skeletal pirate in a clash of blades. Gillette throws the ship's rigging at Bo'sun, but the pirate easily dodges it, leaning his skeletal body to the right. The rigging continues across the ship until it hits Ragetti from behind, popping out his wooden eye. The pirate felt his empty eye socket with his right-hand and panicked when he realized his replacement eye was missing.
"Me eye!" Ragetti shrieks
Dropping down on all fours, Ragetti scrambles after his wooden eye amidst that battle as it rolled across the deck.
Climbing aboard the Dauntless, Mullroy and Murtogg saw the horrifying spectacle of living skeletons. Despite this, they shared a brotherly handshake before charging into battle.
Returning to the Treasure Cave of Isla de Muerta, Jacoby lights up two bombs in his hands and throws them. One he threw at Donald and Goofy, which landed right at their feet. The Duck Mage and Dog Knight glanced down at the bomb, then turned to each other.
"Uh-oh..." Donald and Goofy say in unison
Within moments, the bomb explodes, sending Donald and Goofy flying across the cave with their arms and legs flailing in the air.
"Waaaaak!" Donald screams
"Aaaah hoo hoo hoo!" Goofy screams
The other bomb was thrown at Will Turner, but he leaps away to evade the blast as gold treasure was sent flying. Will turns back and faces Jacoby as he advances toward him.
"I'm gonna teach you the meaning of pain!" Jacoby says pointing his sword down at Will
"Do you like pain?" A female voice asks behind the pirate
Suddenly, a long golden gaff pole swings across Jacoby's face, knocking him to the ground. The attack came from Elizabeth Swann as she arrived in the cave.
"Try wearing a corset." Elizabeth says with a sneer
After knocking down the pirate, Elizabeth turns around to her left and extends the golden pole to Will Turner to help him up. Will grabs the pole with his right-hand and is pulled up onto his feet. For a moment, the two looked into each other's eyes until Elizabeth's attention was quickly drawn to the fight at hand.
Nearby, Sora stood alone against Weatherby in his skeletal form as he approached him. The pirate snarled, tightening his bony grip on the hilt of his sword. Sora narrowed his eyes with a grunt as he held his Kingdom Key infront of him. Within moments, Weatherby yells out a loud battle cry.
"Yaaaaah!" Weatherby shouts
The skeletal pirate charges at the young teen, running full bore towards him. But just as Weatherby raised his sword to strike, a blue plasma blast shoots him in the chest, sending him flying into the waters of the cave. Sora turned around to his right and smiled when he saw Luna, Spyro, Cynder, Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, Stormfly, Fishlegs, Meatlug, Snotlout, Hookfang, Tuffnut, Ruffnut, Barf and Belch arrive in the cave. Donald and Goofy recovered and joined Sora's side.
"You alright, Sora?" Luna asks
"Luna! Spyro! Cynder! Guys! Glad you all could make it." Sora says
"Where's Jack?" Hiccup asks
"And Devon?" Astrid asks
Everyone looked over and watched as Barbossa and Jack slashed at each other as skeletons in the moonlight with Devon fighting alongside Jack. The Keyblade Wielder blocks a low left strike and blocks a mid-right slash before punching the skeletal pirate across the face with his left-hand. Barbossa growls and proceeds to attack again with a downward slash, but Jack steps up and defends the young teen, parrying the strike with his cutlass. After blocking the high strike from Barbossa, Jack swings his blade away to the right, spins him around, pushes him away, and slices his rival across the back with a left slash.
"Aaargh!" Barbossa cries out
Turning around to his left, Barbossa advances toward the two heroes, swings his sword with four uppercut slashes. Devon and Jack retreat across the cave, parrying his strikes.
"Whose side is Jack on?" Elizabeth asks
"At the moment?" Will says sarcastically
Soon, the pirates recovered, and the group turned to face them. Jacoby and Weatherby snarled at the group, but Luna, Toothless, and the dragons snarled back.
After minutes of struggling, Monk finally manages to lift the golden pot from his head, only to be hit square across the face as Elizabeth swung the golden pole at him. Jacoby and Weatherby ducked down as they dodged the pole, then swung their swords at the two lovers. Will and Elizabeth blocked their attacks, holding the gaff pole up infront of them. Shoving the skeletons back, Will swings the pole at Jacoby and Weatherby, only to miss as they jumped back. Before the pirates could attack again, Luna and Toothless step in to join the fight. The two Night Furies spin around in opposite directions and slap Jacoby and Weatherby across the face with their tails, causing them to spin around. Hiccup and Astrid attack the pirates next with Astrid delivering a right uppercut punch to Weatherby and Hiccup kicking Jacoby back with his left-foot. With the pirates clustered together, Will and Elizabeth grabbed hold of one end of the gaff and charged, lancing all three skeleton pirates together with Weatherby screaming loudly in pain.
"Aaaaaaaaah!" Weatherby screams
Stepping back, the group watched as Weatherby, Jacoby, and Monk looked down at the golden pole running through their chests. While the pirates struggled with the pole, Will picked up a grenade Jacoby had dropped with his right-hand and holds it over to Luna.
"Luna, light the fuse!" Will says
"Aye, aye." Luna says
Leaning over towards Will, the female Night Fury blows a small blue flame from her mouth, igniting the fuse on the grenade. Will smiled and shoves it inside Jacoby's chest, then he and Elizabeth pushed the three men out of the moonlight and into the shadows of the cave. Jacoby clutches his chest, then looks up at the group with a shocked expression.
"No fair." Jacoby says
Within moments, the grenade explodes, blowing the undead pirates to smithereens. Jack and Barbossa, now flesh and blood again, were briefly distracted by the explosion. Looking over, Jack and Devon watched as Will headed towards the chest of Aztec gold. Acting quickly, Jack cut his hand with the blade of his cutlass before lashing out with his sword, catching Barbossa unaware. As the other captain struggled to stay upright, Jack threw his piece of the gold to Will, who caught it in his left-hand. Barbossa then turned and pulled out his pistol. Cocking it, he held out his left-arm and aimed straight at Elizabeth. Seeing the gun pointed in her direction, she ground to a stop, almost losing her footing on the slippery rock. Their eyes met and everything fell still. A gunshot rang out, echoing across the cave, and Elizabeth gasped. However, it wasn't Barbossa's pistol that fired. Perplexed, Barbossa turned back, and everyone looked over at Jack Sparrow, who stood with his smoking pistol in his left-hand pointed directly at Barbossa's heart.
"Ten years you carry that pistol, and now you waste your shot." Barbossa says smiling
"He didn't waste it." Will says
Barbossa looked over to where Will stood and saw his left-hand held in a fist hovering above the Aztec chest. In his right-hand, Will held a knife with a strip of blood gleaming bright red in the moonlight. Will opened his left-hand, revealing the cut in his palm, and the two pieces of Aztec gold, one the medallion that Elizabeth had carried for so long, and the other, Jack's piece, fell with a clink into the filled chest. From where she stood, Elizabeth smiled. Barbossa turns back to Jack and Devon with a look of anguish on his face, then looks down at his chest. Dropping his weapons, he pulled his jacket apart, revealing his white shirt, and a spot of red appeared on his body, which grew larger by the second. Barbossa looked up at the group, his face registering pain for the first time in years.
"I feel... cold." Barbossa says softly
After saying that, Hector Barbossa falls backwards onto the pile of treasure and finally dies with his green apple dropping out of his left-hand. His eyes were left wide open, staring up the cave ceiling and the shafts of moonlight that shined through.
Out onboard the Dauntless, at the very same moment that Barbossa drew his last breath, Commodore Norrington and his men continued to fight. With a cry of rage, Norrington lunged, running his sword through Koehler's chest. All of the fighting immediately ceased as everyone looked towards Koehler, who looked down as he felt the wound. The pirate glanced up at the Commodore and stared at him with shock clear on his face until he groaned and fell down backwards to his death.
In the captain's cabin, Governor Swann no longer felt any resistance from the severed arm inside the drawer. He opened the drawer to see why, and he promptly slammed it shut in disgust at what he saw, covering his mouth with his right-hand.
Outside, the pirates looked down at their own bodies, confused as to what had happened. They looked at Norrington's blade as it was now coated in blood, then they turned their gaze toward the moon, which was now clear out in the night sky. In the bright light of the moon, their flesh was visible, and they were no longer skeletons. At that moment, the pirates realized that the curse must've been lifted, which meant they no longer had the upper hand. Twigg was the first to drop his weapon, and one by one, the other pirates dropped their weapons in surrender as they clattered onto the main deck until they were all unarmed infront of the Royal Marines. Ragetti had finally reclaimed his wooden eye, catching it with his right-hand, and blew it clean with a few blows before placing it back inside his eye socket. He rose up and stood alongside Pintel as Mullroy and Murtogg aimed their muskets at them, the sharp points only inches away from their faces.
"Parley?" Pintel says smiling sheepishly
"The ship is ours, gentlemen." Norrington says
"Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!" The Royal Marines cheer in unison raising their fists and swords into the air
Governor Swann looked outside the door of the captain's cabin and noticed that the battle was over. Coming out onto the main deck, he cheered alongside the marines, raising his left-fist, pointing his right index finger, and throwing punches at the pirates, taunting them.
Back inside the Treasure Cave of Isla de Muerta, Devon reunited with his friends, glad that they all made it through the battle as he gave them a smile, a nod, and a pat on the shoulder. He was especially happy to be reunited with his beloved female Night Fury. The young teen took off his hat and placed his hands along the sides of Luna's head. They stared into each other's eyes before embracing in a loving hug with Devon gently wrapping his arms around the neck of his dragoness, while she placed her head around her rider.
"Ohh... Devon." Luna sighs
"Luna... I'm so glad you're alright." Devon says
The group turned and looked over at Elizabeth as she stood near a pile of gold, her eyes filled with sorrow. Will Turner walked over to her, and she turns to face him. Despite having defeated Barbossa and helped save Will, the price had been high. Feeling as though her heart were breaking, Elizabeth forced back the tears as she looked into the eyes of the man she truly loved and now could never love. A loud clattering noise drew everyone's attention and they all watched as Captain Jack Sparrow sifted through various pieces of treasure nearby in the cave, randomly throwing them over his shoulder. The young man and woman turned to face each other once more and Elizabeth spoke first.
"We should return to the Dauntless." Elizabeth says in a soft voice
"Your fiancée will be wanting to know you're safe." Will says
Elizabeth's eyes filled with tears as she nodded in agreement, then she headed out of the cave. Devon, Sora, and the others watched Elizabeth as she leaves for the longboat that waited in the grotto outside, and they all felt sad for her with Luna, Toothless, and the dragons whining, whimpering, and crooning sadly. Jack Sparrow walked up behind Will Turner with a gold crown on his head and his arms piled high with jewels as he also watched Elizabeth leave.
"If you were waiting for the opportune moment, that was it." Jack says pointing to Elizabeth with his left index finger while holding a golden chalice in the same hand
Will Turner glanced back over his right-shoulder at Jack Sparrow for a brief moment but said nothing and turns back to where Elizabeth left, feeling heartbroken.
"Now, if you'd be so kind, I'd be much obliged if you'd drop me off at my ship." Jack says walking past Will Turner and the group of world-travelers
"Uh... Yeah... Jack, about that..." Hiccup says holding up his right index finger as he, Devon, Sora, and the others all followed him out of the cave
Moments later, the group was now making their departure from Isla de Muerta as they headed out towards the sea. Devon, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and the Viking Teens rode on the backs of Luna, Toothless, Stormfly, and the dragons as they flew in the air, while Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, and Will Turner rowed out on their longboat across the water down below. Jack sat at the prow of the longboat, looking out at the empty spot of sea where his ship was supposed to be. On his head, he still wore the crown, and around his neck was a string of pearls. Elizabeth felt bad for Jack Sparrow losing his ship and his crew and apologized in her failure to convince them to stay and help in the fight.
"I'm sorry, Jack." Elizabeth apologizes
Jack Sparrow knew that his crew followed the Pirate's Code, and he respected their decision.
"They done what's right by them. Can't expect more than that." Jack says
Will Turner, who was rowing the boat, glanced back at Jack over his left-shoulder as he said this, seemingly taking his words into consideration. And so, the group headed for the Dauntless still anchored offshore, and began their journey back to Port Royal, leaving the cursed island behind them.
Author's Note: Arrr! Here it be, mateys! The Battle of Isla de Muerta! The epic fight between Devon, Sora, Captain Jack Sparrow, and their friends, the crew of the HMS Dauntless, and Captain Hector Barbossa and his crew of undead pirates! A vicious battle it was, but in the end, our heroes prevail victorio0us. To anonymous(guest), I know you are trying to lend me ideas for your OC creatures, and I just want to say I cannot guarantee that any creature you suggest will make their cut into the story. Plus, you kinda make them too overpowered. But don't feel discouraged. Some of the ones you gave me have been useful, and I already have a list of the others that have piqued my interest. So, I say keep up the good work. And now, me hearties, it's back to Port Royal for the final chapter of our tale. Let me know what you guys think. No flames please. Hope you guys like and don't forget to review!
