Hera put baby Izuku into a crib. They were on Mount Olympus, and it was a celebration for Deku's birth.
"Shh..." Hera said. "Behave, Deku."
"He's so cute!" Zeus said.
Deku splashed his father in the face.
"And he has the power of his father!" Hera smiled.
Hermes flew over, using his winged sandals, and handed Hera some flowers. "Congratulations! These are from Orpheus!"
Deku reached for his fathers trident and started to play with it.
Zeus snatched it away. "Now now, you're too young for that, Deku."
They looked around at the wonderful party, that Zeus had thrown, of course. Hera placed a hand on Zeus's shoulder.
"Even if it's not our party, Deku is our son." Hera said. "So have a good time, dear."
"Your right." Zeus smiled. "On behalf of my son, I want to thank you all...for your wonderful gifts!"
"What about our gift, dear?" Hera asked.
"That's a surprise!" Zeus said, and whistled.
Out flew a baby white Pegasus.
"His name is Pegasus, and I hope he'll be a great friend to you son!" Zeus smiled.
Pegasus flew down and cuddled with baby Deku.
All would have been well, but then in came a party crasher—Hades.
"Hello everyone, how is Olympus?" Hades said. "And look its a little zapper, son of Zeus."
Hades grinned, but no one laughed, except Zeus, who always underestimated Hades.
"Good to see you brother! Why don't you join us?" Zeus said.
Zeus, however, took a step to protect his son, and Pegasus growled.
"I would, but I'm rather busy in the Underworld. Thanks to you..." Hades said. "Not that I'm bitter. Not bitter at all."
He faded into the shadows.
