Geese flew overhead, one was cut down with a sword and plummeted to the ground.
"Masterful shot, Prince Shoto!" Deku said.
Deku caught the goose and began preparing their dinner.
"Prince Shoto, have you made a decision about King Uther's proposal?" Deku asked.
"Hm...his daughter Reille's hand in marriage for the protection of mine over the kingdom, against the other demons who would devour the humans?" Shoto said, eating the now cooked goose.
"Yes that." Deku said. "The girl may be a foreigner, Prince Shoto, but she is well read and quite a warrior. It is even said that she has powers that even the Great Enchantress does not possess."
Shoto crushed the goose bone in his fist. "Reille is not the woman I want. But I have a feeling I can convince her to give me who I want, the lovely Lady Christy, to me."
"Of course you will Prince Shoto!" Deku said. "You are a master of oratory skill!"
