It was a warm spring day and Howl and Sophie were on a stroll through the flower fields connected to a door in the castle.

"My mother had a wedding rehearsal before she got married again," Sophie told her groom-to-be.

"So, you want a rehearsal, too?" Howl asked his blushing bride-to-be.

"Mother says anything could go wrong. So, we have to make sure things go right," Sophie said.

"And your sister, Martha, is a judge?* Howl asked.

"Yes. She marries people together," Sophie said. "She also knows a bit of magic!"

"'Magic'?!" Howl repeated.

Sophie grinned. "Yes. Magic. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner!"

"Anything else you'd like to tell me?"

"Would you believe me if I said, 'no"?"

Howl stopped in his tracks. "Maybe. Anyhow, I'm glad you decided on a dress from that catalog I gave you,"

"And that you liked the suit from it!"

They arrived back at the castle. They went inside and Howl turned the dial.

"I'll be out shopping for the tux and dress," Howl said to Sophie, Kiki, Jiji, Calcifier, the Witch of The Waste and Heen.

Howl disappeared behind the door.

"Time to clean the castle's tongue!" Sophie said.

"The castle has a face?" Kiki asked.

"You didn't notice before?"

"No. But may I help you?"

"May I help, too?" asked Markle.

"Now you both know that Howl doesn't give cleaning jobs for children," Sophie said.

"'Work is work'!" Kiki said.

"Well, okay," Sophie said in decision. "Just don't tell Howl. And Kiki?"

"Yes, Sophie?"

"When we're done, we're also going out. The wedding planners are in a different direction the Howl. But first, you must bring Osono,"

Osono, Kiki and Sophie had arrived at a peculiar destination: Sophie's sister, Lettie's bakery.

They arrived and there was Lettie, Martha, Fanny and a strange elderly man was there.

Fanny, Sophie's mother, greeted her by grabbing Sophie's hands and jumping up and down.

"Ooh, Sophie, it's so good to see you!" she said.

She grabbed a nearby elderly man and lead him to Sophie.

"Sophie, this is my new husband, Jasper!"

Jasper shook Sophie's hand and said, "I've heard so much about you! Charmed!"

"Nice to meet you, but I'm here for business, too," Sophie said as she regained her composer.

Sophie pointed to Kiki and Osono.

"This is Howl's new apprentice. And this-this is Osono. She also owns a bakery!"

"Is she the reason why you wanted someone else to bake the cake?"asked Lettie.

"Yes! I was thinking you could be business partners!" Sophie said. "You could carry food to and from places using the castle."

"That sounds wonderful!" Martha suddenly piped up.

"I agree!" Osono said.

"So, it's decided! We're partners!" Lettie said.

"I'm sure Howl will like it, too," Sophie said.

Today was the big day.

Well, not the big day,.

The rehearsal of the big day.

Everyone gathered around outside around the field of flowers. A white carpet with pink and red flower pedals covered it by Kiki, who was the flower girl, who dropped them.

Sophie and Kiki walked down the aisle until they stopped at the end Howl and Markle stood there as ring bearer.

Calcifier stood on the castle's tongue, so the castle wouldn't fall without him on the outside of it. He was the best man.

Sophie, Kiki, Markle and Howl stood on opposite sides of the tongue. Martha, Sophie's sister, stood in the back.

Sophie's mother Fanny, sat with Sophie's new stepfather in the audience along with Lettie, Sophie's other sister. Osono, Fukuo and the baby were also there since Osono was responsible for the cake.

Everyone was dressed in regular attire. It was practice, after all.

"I can't believe you moonlight marrying people!" Sophie whispered to Martha. "I thought you were just a witch."

Martha whispered back, "I'm able to do two things at once, you know."

Then and Martha raised her voice so everyone could hear her.

"First, the exchanging of the rings,"

Markle presented the two rings on a cushion.

Martha stopped Markle short.

"It is clear to everyone in their lives that they are in love. Now, the couple would say their own vows, but we'll save that for later. For now, we'll throw the bouquet.".

Sophie threw her arms backwards and aimed for Lettie, since she was the only single woman there., "

But Kiki caught it.

Everyone "oohed".

"Well, that won't happen for a long time," Kiki said.

Everyone clapped as the ceremony was over.

The Prime Minister, Irene and the Minister of Defense, Ivan, were spying on the whole affair.

Then a female yellow cat and a male orange cat returned.

The yellow was called, "Cheese", and the orange was, "Crackers".

"How many magic users are there?" asked the Minister of Defense.

"Four, " said Cheese.

"A man, a woman, a girl. AND a baby!"

The politicians exchanged grins.

Then something otherworldly happened.

A huge funnel approached the fields.

'TWISTER!" Howl yelled over the storm. "Get inside the castle, NOW!"

Everyone was swallowed up by Calcifer's tongue. All except Howl and Martha.

Then out popped the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense.

"Don't worry, Howl," said the Prime Minister. "Not even the flowers will be damaged."

"But! We want the BABY!" said the Minister of Defense.

Howl and Martha were confused. "What baby?"" asked Martha.

Howl beamed In realization. "Osono'a baby!"

"Your apprentice is famous for 'saving' a boy from falling," said the Prime Minister. "You should've known that before teaching her."

"So?!" Howl said in disdain.

"We sent our own familiars after you today. We spied on you from afar. The two of you have power indeed. But you rubbed off your magic onto him,"

Kiki must've done that," Howl thought.

But Martha had none of it.

"Bring Water, Wind, Air and Fire to me,"

The four elements shot out of her hands and feet.

The politicians were knocked over. They were about to attack too,, but then Howl quickly intervened, getting between them.

"I will go with you" he said.

All three of the others were baffled.

"Why?" asked Martha.

"I once ran from these people. But I'm tiring. And I'd rather not put my family in danger anymore. A baby has to be taught magic. I don't need to. So. I am ready."

Howl left with them without anything but the clothes on his back.

Martha ran inside the house.

She was flailing her arms and had to sit down to speak.

Sophie presented her with a glass of water.

Then Martha said everything.

Sophie got out a piece of cheese and some bread.

"Where are you going?" asked Martha.

"To the Royal City," Sophie answered. "I'll be needing that flying kayak again,"

"We should fly on my broom!" Kiki said.

"Awesome!" said Markle.

"I'll fly on the canoo!" Martha said.

Sophie frowned. "Everyone has business to do. I'd like you to watch over the Witch of The Waste and Calcifer. Our familiars will fly with me,"

Martha rolled her eyes, "Fine,"

And so, the three spell casters went to save Howl.
