"Cairstiana!" Satan called. "Let down your hair!"

Cairstiana grinned and put Weebo in his little nest away from Satan. "I'm coming Father!"

She let her hair down and Satan climbed up.

Satan looked around the tower, running his hands over the artworks Cairstiana had made. "You are a true citizen of Gehenna, gifted with great power."

"Father, did you remember what tomorrow is?" Cairstiana said.

"Your birthday." Satan said. "You are coming of age, my little flower, coming into your true power."

"My true..." Cairstiana said. "Father please don't make me do the ceremony today."

"It's alright my flower..." Satan said. "I brought a criminal this time."

He dropped an unconscious man at their feet.

"Now do it." Satan ordered.

Cairstiana begrudgingly wrapped her hair around the man, and placed it in her father's hands.

"Flower gleam and glow, Let your power shine,

Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine.

Heal what has been hurt, Change the fate's design.

Save what has been lost, Bring back what once was mine."

Her hair glowed and brought back Satan's youth—at the cost of the man's life.

The man turned to ash and blew away. No matter how many times she saw it, Cairstiana hated that part.

"Father...I've done what you asked." Cairstiana said. "Now I want you to do something for me. I want to go visit the floating lights in the sky tomorrow night."

"You want to leave this tower." Satan said. "To see some lights?"

"Father...if you don't let me, I'll—"

"You'll what?" Satan said dangerously. "Cairstiana you can do nothing without me. You are a delicate little flower that will wither if I do not water and feed you and keep you in the light. You would do well to remember that beyond this tower, you would be called a murderer. They wouldn't understand your magic. You're a killer, Cairstiana. That is why you cannot leave. They will hunt you down and snuff you out."

Cairstiana was frozen in fear, eyes on the ashes of the man she had murdered.

Satan crept behind her and whispered.

"Best things remain as they are. Remember...Father Knows Best."
