PLEASE READ TAKE 30 SECONDS TO READ OR BE VERY CONFUSED:
It's been almost a year and a half since I last updated…I think I am burnt out on writing to possibly ever finish this story as it deserves? But I also hate being an author who leaves it lingering up there unresolved. So here is what I am going to do, I am going to post the endings I intended for this last installment of the story (that I wrote a long time ago). There is not a lot of meat to them, and only the second ending is a little more flushed out. Apologies, maybe I will come back to finish this one day to rewrite the end- idk. Thanks for following this story and I am sorry I could not give you more. Best of luck to you all in 2024!
Part X
OoOoOoO
Ending 1
Since returning to the future, months passed of Mary Sue's bliss and the Clover Kingdom's growing unrest.
-more plot happens, and then we come to the final scene where Mary Sue casts a a new spell 'Luck magic: Change of Fate' to take the place of Julius before he receives the "final" from Patolli. We pick up where she is dying in Julius's arms (no idk what happened to Patolli to get here)-
The beauty and yet tragedy of it all was he was telling this to her too late…
When she confessed she had loved him for the first time, she revealed that she felt underserving of his feelings and that she did not add any value as his partner.
"Mary Sue, listen to me. You are enough. You have always been, just as you are," Julius whispered in her ear.
"If I get another life in another world, I hope I can find you in it, Julius." Mary Sue's grip on his hand loosened. Julius's body trembled as he witnessed her eyes glaze over, her body turns limp in his hold.

Ending 2
The anti-magic dagger. The time boots. The bead to use her spell Defense God.
Together, they were three components of a triad to form the perfect weapon against Lucius Zogratis.
The main villain, once hiding in a body with two souls, now forces the world to take notice.
The hero, embracing the body where once another soul dwelled, is struggling with a choice.
Julius is no more, just as she had been warned.
Mary Sue gawks at the stranger in front of her where her beloved should be. Julius's once short and messy blond hair is now the darkest shade, lacking any warmth. The blue star on his forehead has been erased and replaced with a dark mark, shaped like the sun. His eyes…she imagined they would be empty, maybe even soulless from this man who stole Julius's body. Instead, the dark eyes that are no longer purple are glazed over in confusion. The once evil smirk wiped from his face the second his eyes locked on hers. A kernel of shock flickers in his eyes while he keeps his composure.
He speaks first. "I know you," he admits, his words slow and drawn out.
"Maybe from Julius's memories."
"I- he, loved you." Mary Sue nodded, willing back the tears that threatened to escape her eyes.
"He does," she instead corrects him. "Did you know that I am a Mary Sue?"
"Yes, your name. I remember that name. Mary Sue." He murmurs her name delicately.
"A Mary Sue," she corrects, her voice cracking. "I have luck magic. I have everything I need to stop you. To kill you."
His mouth shifts back into a smirk, not believing her for a second. His eyes read 'I dare you to try'. But she won't. Because the end of Lucius also spells the end for Julius.
She tears the bead off her neck with a vicious tug as she yells "Defense God" into the void. The only two that remain in attacking distance are her and him. She snatches the dagger from her waist and waves it around in circles. "Anti-magic," she informs him as she casts her inverse guard spell. She shifts her legs apart into a battle stance, but he just continues to watch her in heightened interest. "And last but not least," she taps her boots together, activating time evasion. "Together they negate your time magic on me."
Lucius scoffs at Mary Sue. "Why would that even matter? You are nothing."
At last, she lets the tears fall. "So you can't stop me," she reveals in a low whisper. She doesn't back down as she scans those dark pits that are called eyes that sucked Julius out of her reach.
"Stop you from?" He prods, mild interest returning.
"Julius, I love you. Come back to them."
"Them? Not us?" Lucious asks, his gaze weary but still not fitting the puzzle pieces together.
"I said it right the first time," she responds before lifting the dagger to heart and piercing it all the way through.
In the moment Mary Sue's eyes shut, time flashes a hundred moments for her to instantaneously live and cherish.
Lucius lunges forward as Mary Sue's body goes limp and falls to the ground. He cradles her to his chest before laying her down. He keeps his composure because the damage will be undone in mere seconds. On his knees he hovers his hands over her chest, ignoring the fatal wound as he begins to reverse time. To reverse the wound. To reverse her death.
Seconds pass but the dagger is still in her chest. Her face remains stiff, lifeless. She is not recovering. In this moment, it is beginning to dawn on him that his magic cannot break her bargain with death as the anti-magic dagger and time boots work perfectly together against him.
He realizes now that she could have killed him. She indeed had the right components while shielding her friends, yet instead she chose to sacrifice herself. But why? What purpose did her death have-
Lucius's brain feels like it was beginning to fracture and reform over and over each second that passes. He releases Mary Sue and falls back, falling prey to the agony splitting his head. Too many overwhelming thoughts and feelings are invading his thinking space. He attempts to fight it and regain control over this mind and this body. It was his turn after all to-
Julius blinks into awareness and discovers Mary Sue's lifeless form on the ground a few feet in front of him.
Through his shock he stutters in disbelief, "Mar-Mar-Mary Sue?" His voice is childlike as he inches toward her on his knees, unsure of himself. Blood stains the floor. She isn't moving. "Mary Sue?" he asks again, his voice more frantic as he takes her in her arms. With care he sweeps the auburn curls away her face, assessing her pale features. The color has already leached from her feckless. "Mary Sue?" His fingers soon shift to the dagger handle jutting out of her chest. The front of her outfit is soiled in crimson red. Despite the magic being seeped from his body when he touches the dagger, he pulls it out with care. Fresh blood spurts out before Julius removes his red cloak to stop the bleeding. "You are not dead. You are not dead. Do you hear me, Mary Sue? We are meant to be. I love you," he chokes out to the dead, young heroine in his arms. "You never thought you were good enough. But you were always enough. For me. I just needed you. I still do. Don't go, Mary Sue. I am sorry about Lucius. I didn't know. Come back to me," he begs, his voice throaty while his overwhelming emotions begin to drown out the reality of everything.
Unbeknownst to Julius, the blood masked the vanishing of the final purple leaf from Mary Sue's chest – removing the last trace of the tattoo. After it fades away, so does Mary Sue.

"Clara!" Thomas wails, being an over dramatic brat and he knows it.
Clara Wood turns around, shaking her head at Thomas. "No," she insists, this time firmer. "I really can't go to the graduation party tonight."
Thomas nudges her in the shoulder. "Not even if Professor Nova will be there?" His dark brows wiggle in amusement as he prods his friend to give in
"I am sure he has better things to do than attending graduation party for the Business Department. He teaches politics. There is no overlap in the degrees."
"Then why did you take his political science intro class this year then?"
"Because I have two eyes," she concedes after a tiny chortle. "And in hopes of an easy A; which in fact it was not to earn." She pushes Thomas away. "Whit and Izzy are going. You all have fun without me. Snap me some moments, so I know what I am missing out on."
"Snap you? Are you a dinosaur? Stop being stubborn and get on Tiktok already. No one Snapchats anymore, grandma."
"Sure, later," she falsely agrees as she always does on this subject.
"Lame. See you later. Get Tiktok."
Clara releases a heavy sigh before heading back to the library to return to her one of many loan applications to any banks that would accept such a candidate and measly 682 credit score. Too focused on her to-do list, she notices too late someone is in her path.
"Ooof," she bellows upon impact of her head colliding with a hard chest. "Ugh, so sorry," she spits out as she quickly backs away. She looks up. Her mouth drops. Dr. Hottie- no, Dr. Julius Nova is the poor victim of her carelessness and absent mind. "Dr. Nova, sorry. I was lost in thought and wasn't paying attention to where I was looking."
"No problem," he responds, edging past her without a single glance. Not that she expects to earn his attention or for him to remember her from a class of 100+ students and mostly female classmates… well, so it goes. She is an ordinary woman of 22. Not blessed by luck, good looks, wealth, intelligence or any superior characteristics. She is just average.
At times, she has the most odd yet extraordinary dreams of being a powerful woman in another world. Blessed by magic. Forced into a Mary Sue life. Those dreams always stirred up some humor in the days she recalled any of her dreams upon waking up. Clara hums to herself as she begins to open the heavy metal doors of the library.
It was nearly open most of the way when someone brushed past her to enter through the doorway. That she had opened. For herself. She gawks at the tall figure with blond hair that strode past her. She immediately recognizes Dr. Nova. Has he always been this rude? Or maybe he was distracted? But then again, was that an excuse to be rude? Clara bites her tongue, suppressing the unrefined words that are dying to spill off her tongue.
Her teeth drive into her tongue with too much force. Blood pools and seeps from her mouth. Quite more than expected. She lifts her hand to catch what spills from her mouth. The site of the crimson stains on her hands triggers a memory to surface. From the dream she had the night before. Her Mary Sue self met an untimely demise. She doesn't recall the exact details but there was blood. A lot of blood. Now the sight of the blood in her hand does not sit well with Clara. In fact, another second transpires before she passes out.
Her landing is cushioned. A man has caught her. None other than Dr. Nova coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress. Julius Nova is sure sick and tired of what shenanigans or ploys female students put themselves through for his attention. He is a one-woman man, and he is dead set on finding Mary Sue in this world he found himself awakened in 20 years ago. He figured she would come to him. So, he waited. And waited. And waited. He is good at waiting based on their previous life in a completely different world. Now this plain Jane in his arms was purposefully passing out for his attention because he didn't give her the time of day earlier? Why did women do this? Couldn't they take a hint and let him teach in peace and wait for his true love?
"Julius, I love you," She murmurs softly. Another empty confession from a woman that didn't know him. He was going to let go now. Someone else could tend to this girl's issues. He set her on the tile floor, more rough and less gentle."Come back to them."
His hands stilled. Why did she say that? And why is that almost familiar to him?
"What's your name?" He coaxes her to confess to dispel his irrational thoughts.
"Mary…Sue," she mumbles.
Clara opens her eyes, stunned to find Dr. Nova in her line of sight. He looks at her like she is a breath of fresh air.
"I finally found you," he announces before a gold light shimmers around them. He softly touches her forehead, and she finds herself leaning into his familiar caress. "Soul Magic: merge."
Clara screams as relentless memories she once thought were dreams plant in her mind. Julius shooshes her and holds her close, whispering to her, "I too had to merge my souls to be here. You need to do the same so we can return home, Mary Sue. It will be okay. We love you."
Two eyes assess her transformation. Both filled with immense love. One purple and one black.
END.

ANOTHER pointless Note: IDK what I am doing with my life or these endings. But there they are. For whatever that is worth. Peace.
