In the police station, Aj walked into the gym after getting into her gym attire. She took her crocs off and looked up, being surprised by who she saw. The person Aj saw was a young African American woman with light skin and a head of curly brown hair that went to her shoulders but she kept it tied back. This woman had an athletic yet curvy build, had a rather large bust, and well defined abs. This woman currently wore the same attire as Aj but she had her shirt tied up to show her midriff and she had a violet bandana on her head and her basketball shorts were violet.
Aj raised an eyebrow while walking up to the woman and saying,"Excuse me, this gym is only for the supernatural division."
The woman turned to Aj and smiled, revealing that her right incisor tooth was gold, causing Aj to be taken aback by this woman's beauty.
"Yeah I know, I was actually down here because I just joined up.",The woman said in a friendly tone. She stuck her hand out to Aj,"I'm Billie Coleman, nice to meet you."
Aj shook Billie's hand while stammering, then she shook her head and said with a nervous smile,"I'm Angel Jalil but I go by Aj. Nice to meet you, Billie."
"Your name is Angel; think I've heard about you.",Billie said while gaining a contemplative look. "Though even if I hadn't; the name fits someone as pretty as you."
Aj began stuttering and playing with her hair, blushing intensely while a flattered smile came onto her face. She then turned around to see Marcus and Michi enter the gym and she said,"Marcus, Michi. We have a new person joining us."
Marcus and Michi saw Billie and they greeted her while walking up to her. Billie shook both men's hands then she said,"So, are the four of us the only ones in the supernatural division?"
"Yeah. Aj and I were the first and Michi just joined up the other day.",Marcus said while crossing his arms.
Billie nodded, then she pulled out a buckle that was in the shape of a violet gravestone,"Which must mean you guys have these right?"
Aj's eyes widened at the sight of the buckle while Michi nodded and said,"I have the Kitsune buckle, Marcus has the Werewolf buckle and Aj has the Vampire buckle. Though I don't know what a gravestone could represent."
"Eh, I don't either but from what I've been told it's a good fit for me.",Billie said while putting the buckle back into her pocket. "Anyway, is there anything you guys do downhere besides working out?"
"We're currently teaching Michi how to fight.",Aj said while putting an arm around Michi's shoulders and smiling. Billie nodded then she walked up to Michi and she began examining him, lifting his arms among other things. She then smirked and said,"Your buckle is a kitsune right?"
Michi nodded in response. Billie took Michi by the wrist and she led him to the middle of the room. She then began showing him how to do exercises as well as some fighting moves that were more suited to Michi's smaller frame. Marcus gained an impressed look then he said,"Whoa, you seem good at teaching."
"I worked as a gym instructor for a year or two, so seeing that Michi here was smaller than you I just went with what I know could help him.",Billie said while walking up to Marcus.
Marcus nodded, then he said,"Well if that's true, then you won't mind lifting some weights with me."
Billie and Marcus went over to the weights and began lifting them, it becoming a competition between the two rather quickly. Aj watched the two then she frowned childishly while moving over to Michi.
Out in the city, the cloaked person stood in a park and they put their hands on a tree while having their book floating near them while they chanted. This caused the tree to begin to morph into a monster with many yellow eyes, four arms, tentacles for legs and no noticeable mouth. Several smaller monsters appeared beside the tree monster, each one being like the original but having two legs and arms, with small wooden hatchets in their hands.
The cloaked person walked away while the monster's began to attack anyone around them.
At the police station, Michi, Marcus, Aj and Billie entered the squad room of the station now wearing their normal attire. Billie's attire was made of a black and white striped t-shirt that stopped just above her navel under a green army jacket that had the sleeves rolled up to her forearms, baggy cargo pants, and black athletic shoes along with her violet bandana on her head.
The Chief looked at the four and said,"Good, you're all here and have gotten acquainted with the new recruit."
"Yeah, where we gotta go Chief?",Aj said, purposely moving to be away from Billie.
"You and Marcus are going to Denver Park to deal with some monsters that've appeared.",The Chief said.
Marcus raised an eyebrow then asked,"Just me and Aj? What about?"
"Billie and Michi are going to investigate an old school. We've been getting several reports of chanting being heard from the basement as well as a cloaked figure going to and from the premises at all hours.",The Chief explained while handing some pictures to Billie. Billie and Michi looked at the pictures and Billie said,"Alright, we can check this out."
"Wait, wait. Michi and Billie have just started, Billie just today; isn't it a bit early to ask them to go investigate by themselves?",Marcus said, his tone and face showing concern.
"It may be, however I think they'll be able to handle the school much better than the monster. Besides, they are partners like you and Aj so this will give them time to become acquainted with one another.",The Cheif reasoned before telling the four to move out. Marcus sighed then he looked at Michi and said,"If you get overwhelmed or anything, just call me and I'll be over there as fast as I can."
"Okay; be careful though. Just because you're used to it, doesn't make fighting monsters any less dangerous.",Michi said shyly with a concerned look. Marcus nodded in response then he kissed Michi on his forehead before he and Aj ran towards the garage.
Minutes later, Aj and Marcus were making their way to the location of the monster, Aj being on her motorcycle while Marcus was in his car. Aj strapped her buckle onto her waist and took out her card while saying,"Henshin." and putting the card into the buckle. This changed her in Vampyr while she was driving.
Marcus put his buckle on then he took out his card and said,"Henshin." while putting the card into his buckle. This changed him into Lykhan while he was driving.
The two turned a corner and Vampyr let out a surprised yelp when she saw that the main tree monster had grown to being about the size of a small house.
"Okay, that's a big one!",Vampyr said through her helmets communicator.
"I got the monster, you deal with the minions.",Lykhan said while pressing some buttons on the touchscreen where his radio was. This made the car announce,"HUNT YOUR PREY, WOLCHARGER!"
A large blue and silver wolf head that had glaring red eyes appeared on the front of the car in between the hood and the grill. The car then jumped into the air, changing into a large mechanical wolf that Lykhan piloted from the car's cab.
The wolcharger howled then charged into the monster, biting it in the forearm then slashing it with its claws. The wolcharger howled while fighting the giant monster again.
Vampyr plowed her motorcycle into the minions then she jumped off it and kicked one, stabbing it in the chest with her heel. She then kicked several more minions before flipping backwards to avoid being hit by several minions' hatchets. Vampyr narrowly dodged several slashes, then she summoned one of her guns and shot three minions. She summoned her other gun and fired at the rest of the minions, moving through the battlefield as she did so.
The wolcharger was tossed tithe side by the giant monster that roared before firing a blast of energy at the robot. Lykhan made the wolcharger jump out of the way of a blast before returning it to a car and driving to avoid being hit. Lykhan grunted as he was still shaken by the blasts then he performed a swift U-turn before flooring his car towards the monster. He then took out a card and put it to the screen, causing the car to announce,"LYKHAN, MIDNIGHT STRIKE!"
Lykhan then moved to being on the roof of the wolcharger and he jumped into the air while the wolcharger changed into its wolf robot state. The wolcharger then fired a blast of blue flames towards the monster, setting it ablaze. Lykhan came down towards the monster, the claws on his gloves being coated in surging blue, navy blue and black energy as he cut down the monster.
Lykhan landed on the roof of the wolcharger as it reverted into a car and stopped ten feet behind the monster as it exploded then turned to dust. Lykhan sighed then he got to the ground and looked towards Vampyr, to see her running towards him and shooting the last minion in the face.
Vampyr jumped up and high-fived Lykhan before saying excitedly,"Oh yeah! We whipped that monster's ass! Right, buddy."
"Yeah we did, though I did the heavy lifting.",Lykhan said while crossing his arms and leaning back on his car.
"Only because you volunteered. The bat striker and I could've taken down that monster easily.",Vampyr said rather smugly.
"You mean like how you dealt with the harpy that almost got away from you?",Lykhan teased.
Vampyr looked at Lykhan then she punched Lykhan's shoulder, while he laughed at the childish exchange. Lykhan sighed, then he reached into his car, took his phone out and turned it on.
Vampyr put her hand on her hip then said,"Dude, are you worrying about Michi?"
"Yes, I'm worrying. He just got his buckle and now he's on a case without me being there.",Lykhan said with a passion.
"Marcus, my canine friend, my bestie; I think you're being too much of an overprotective boyfriend.",Vampyr said. "Michi is a grown man and can take care of himself, plus he has that new girl with him I guess."
Lykhan still was nervous but he sighed while nodding. Vampyr patted Lykhan on the back then she began making her way back to her motorcycle but stopped midway through. She then turned to Lykhan and asked,"Do you have any thoughts about the new girl btw?"
"Uh… none besides she seems to be a nice person; why do you ask?",Lykhan questioned.
"No reason, I just wanted to know your opinion.",Vampyr said, walking to her motorcycle. Lykhan opened his car door then he said in a loud enough tone,"You don't like that there's another girl do you?"
"Shut up!",Vampyr replied in a noticeably embarrassed tone.
Elsewhere in the city, Billie and Michi drove up to an abandoned school in a black Jeep. The two exited the Jeep and Michi gained a fearful look while staring at the school. Billie noticed this then she said,"This your first time going to a place like this?"
Michi looked at Billie then he shook his head and said with a false confidence,"No, of course not. I always go into creepy abandoned buildings. This will be easy."
Billie raised an eyebrow then she let out an amused scoff before she and Michi began walking towards the school.
