Duo Halfbreeds
Chapter Nineteen: Arrival
9:00 A.M, East City, The most center part of the city…
As the residents of east city, as well as visitors to the city, were casually walking in the streets, or driving their aircars, doing their daily lives, a whistling noise could be heard. This whistling noise gradually became louder, taking the attention of many citizens in East City.
Silence came next, and nothing but silence, a silence that many residents would remember for years to come. "BOOOOOOM!" When the sounds returned, reverberating and powerful, destruction and mayhem occurred throughout the entire city.
Three different craters emerged in the city when three different spherical ships had landed, the shockwave generated by these pods, caused multiple tremors, and a mini earthquake that occurred in a rapid fashion.
The city had gone in flames and smoke, countless buildings had fallen or were destroyed, grounds went up and down. In those three pods, were three strange visitors, who stepped outside moments after, revealing one familiar face.
"I told you we should've refueled!" One snarled. This man had long untamed hair, donned a rounded shoulder pad styled Saiyan battle-armor with similar colors to his old battle armor he first arrived with, although at a darker scheme.
The material looked almost more elastic or hard-plastic-like and the jumpsuit he donned had this hexagon-styled pattern to it. His tail was wrapped around his waist, and his arms were crossed, still steaming with anger.
The bulkier one next to him, rolled his eyes. "Oh we made it, didn't we, Raditz?" He said. Raditz scoffed in response. This man was taller, had a goatee on his face, no hair on his head, his battle armor was similar to that of Raditz's from when Raditz originally arrived on Earth, with a much lighter almost yellowish brown color and navy blue to contrast it.
Next to this man was a shorter one, his flame-like spiky hair stood tall, his regal posture clear. "There could've been valuable assets in this city but thanks to you, Nappa, and not ensuring we had enough fuel in our ships, now that value has been lost." He growled.
Nappa's jaw dropped slightly. "Oh.. Sorry Vegeta."
Vegeta sighed. "It's fine. Nothing we can do about it now." He replied. A smirk formed on his face right after as he uncrossed his arms. "What say we should greet this city, boys?" He looked at the other two who had wicked grins on their faces.
Without thought, Nappa raised his index fingers, and unleashed a blast that obliterated the entire city. "City might have not been save-able but at least now we can regrow the life around here, should bring the value back up a bit." He said, cheerfully.
Raditz's jaw was dropped. "Come on, Nappa! You could stand to give a little warning!"
Nappa laughed. "You should just learn to keep your guard up, now let's go get those whatever balls!"
"Dragon Balls.." Raditz corrected.
Vegeta formed an irritated look on his face. "Yes, Dragon Balls." He answered. "Which could've been in this city." He was annoyed that Nappa wasn't taking this as seriously as he should. "Which means you could've just ruined our chances for immortality."
Nappa frowned. "Ah sorry, Vegeta. I guess I didn't think it through."
Vegeta sighed. "It's fine, what's done is done. We'll worry about those later." He answered. "We have more important business to attend to." He turned to look at Raditz. "Your a hundred percent sure that your reports are right about Kakarot?"
Raditz nodded. "Yea, he's probably hiding out somewhere already, who knows." He explained. "But I wouldn't worry too much, Kakarot was barely four hundred when I fought him, there's no way he can beat me now."
"You might wanna double-take that Raditz!" Nappa shouted, floating mid-air with his hands on his hips.
Raditz formed a puzzled look. "What're you talking about?!"
Nappa pressed the button on his scouter several times. "You should take a look at these power levels!" He answered. Both Raditz & Vegeta floated up to Nappa, pressing the buttons on their scouters as well.
Raditz's face was agape at the sight, unable to believe it. "H-How is this possible?!"
"Several readings indicating powerlevels over a thousand." Vegeta said, stating the now obvious. He turned to face Raditz. "Are you sure your reports were right before? It appears there are plenty of fighters that could've stopped you a year ago."
Raditz nodded, sweat dripping from his forehead. "Yes, I'm certain. You saw the reports!" He answered. "There has to be some kind of explanation for this!"
"Are they malfunctioning?" Nappa suggested.
Vegeta shook his head. "No. Either Raditz's reports were inaccurate or…" He paused. "They've been preparing." He shrugged in response to what he said. "Eh, It shouldn't be a problem regardless. It's a simple task, even for you Raditz."
Raditz sighed and nodded. "I suppose, I was just hoping I didn't have to actually do any real work." He said. "Was really hoping we could just toss the Saibamen at them…oh well." He placed his arms behind his head, right before the three took off.
The intense power that had been given when the entirety of East City was being raised, had alerted the current Defenders of Earth. Three incredible and intense powers headed their way to the strongest of Earth's Defenders, having picked Piccolo and Goten's location specifically.
Goten waited, full of tension as they made their arrival but before they had, the rest of Earth's defenders slowly gathered up, Krillin being the first to arrive..
"Heeey!" Krillin shouted, waving as he lowered himself beside the two. "It's been a while, hasn't it?"
Goten waved back and smiled. "Hi.." He paused. "Uhm…" He scratched the side of his head, his gaze averted to the ground. He turned back to face Krillin a couple seconds after. "What's your name again?"
Krillin's face looked unamused. "You're kidding right?" He asked. Goten shook his head in response. "Figures…It's Krillin…yknow? From Master Roshi's and the pendulum the other day?…"
Goten put on a sheepish smile and chuckled. "Sorry…"
Krillin sighed, his hand on his forehead. "Well at least I don't have to worry about you guys being some fake clones or somethin…" He replied. "You're definitely Goku's kid alright."
Piccolo seemed a bit irritated. "Where's the others?"
Krillin looked back from where he came then looked back to Piccolo. "The others? Dunno, they were right behind me.." He answered. "They should be here soon.." He raised his shoulders up and dropped them down. "So anyway, how was training with Piccolo? I bet he was pretty tough on ya."
Goten gave a dismissive wave. "Naaah! It was a piece of cake."
Piccolo had an unamused look on his face. "A piece of cake you say?" He said. "If I recall correctly, you were getting frustrated a couple weeks ago because you couldn't hit the target."
Goten frowned angrily as he turned to Piccolo. "That's not true and you know it, Mister Piccolo!" He replied. "I totally hit that target!"
Before their conversation could continue, three immense presences appeared, lowering to the ground. "They're here!" Krillin shouted, stating the obvious. He swallowed hard as he kept his composure. He knew they were powerful but feeling it up this close was a whole different experience, even both Piccolo and Goten were tense.
Watching as the three made contact with the ground, Goten's gaze pinned on Raditz, his breathing becoming angrier and his fists becoming tighter. Raditz could sense Goten's gaze on him, smirking to him as a response.
"Easy, Goten." Piccolo whispered. "Keep your composure." Goten bit his lips and sighed.
Raditz grinned wickedly. "What brat? Don't you want to avenge your father?" He taunted. A short quiet growl escaped Goten's throat, his gaze remaining averted. "Or are you just too much of a coward like that trash of a father of yours?"
"My father isn't a coward!" Goten snapped, his fists raised and clenched tightly. "And he's not trash!" He took a step forward but Piccolo placed his hand in front of him.
"Ignore him, Goten." Piccolo said. "He's only trying to catch you off-guard." Goten's raged boiled, his fists clenching tighter, his teeth gritting harder, as he scowled at Raditz. "Goten!" Goten sighed, regaining his composure as he relaxed his posture.
Raditz looked surprised. "Interesting, you've managed to tame him." He said. "You'll have to teach me how to do that, cause you see when I took his brother, I couldn't do anything to shut him up!"
Goten whipped his head back up. "What?!"
Raditz chuckled wickedly. "Yea kid had some lungs but sadly couldn't use them to fight." He explained. "So after a while I just gave him someone else's problems."
Goten bared his fangs. "What did you do with him! Where is he!"
Raditz shrugged. "The hell if I know, I threw him in the galaxy's most dangerous colosseum but apparently he and some other goons broke out." He explained. "Probably dead now with all those wanted posters and what not."
Goten snapped again, he clenched his fists and jumped up, attempting to lunge at Raditz but Piccolo grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. Goten tried to struggle free but Piccolo's grip was tight and strong.
"Let me go Piccolo!" Goten snarled. "Let me at him!"
Piccolo threw Goten down to the ground, a few inches behind him. "You'll stay there until I say so!" He yelled. "I told you, he's only trying to trick and taunt you into attacking him so he can get the advantage!" Goten huffed angrily, crossing his arms.
Raditz laughed. "Trying to? Barely.. The kid is way too easy to anger." He said. "Makes me wonder about his master. They say the apple doesn't fall too far off from the tree."
Piccolo scoffed. "Keep talking, see where that gets you."
Raditz clenched his right fist. "You wanna fight, green man?"
Piccolo turned away. "The weakest of the bunch? No thanks, I came here for a real battle not a squirt gun fight." He answered. Raditz glared at Piccolo in response. The second after, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu arrived.
Yamcha was first to lower himself by the others. "There ya guys are!" He shouted.
"What took you guys so long?" Krillin asked.
Tien had an irritated look, his arms crossed as he and Chiaotzu lowered themselves right by them. "Mr. Forgetful here didn't pick up the Senzus from Korin." He explained, his thumb pointing at the now flustered Yamcha.
"Oh come on, Tien! It was an accident!" Yamcha replied. "Besides, I was more worried about the Earth going into pieces."
Tien rolled his eyes. "Whatever, we got them, so it doesn't mater now."
"How many are left?" Piccolo asked.
Tien pulled the pouch from his waist and counted them from the inside. "Only three…" He answered.
Piccolo sighed. "We'll have to use them wisely, so be cautious. Best to avoid needing them, especially since Goku isn't here yet."
Nappa looked annoyed. "Quit your whisperin!" He took a step forward, his hands crossed. "Nice of you three insects to join us!" He mocked, chuckling wickedly. "It's nice of you to gather up and make this easier for us!"
Piccolo growled viciously. "I'll say it once and only once. Take your business elsewhere, or you'll have to answer with me!"
Nappa turned his face to Raditz, with a somewhat annoyed look. "Hey, Raditz!" He shouted. "How come you didn't tell us the green one was a Namekian!?"
Raditz shrugged. "I didn't think he was. They're normally not warriors." He explained. His gaze moved to Piccolo. "Though now that you mention it…"
"That explains his higher than average power level." Vegeta added. "No wonder, Raditz had such a tough time fighting him."
Piccolo looked confused. "The hell is a Namekian?"
Vegeta snorted. "What? You don't know your own race?" He asked. "A peaceful race that tends to have higher than average powerlevels and they tend to have strange abilities as well, kind of like some magician." His brows slightly raised as something dawned on him. "And that would make you the Creator of the Dragon Balls." Piccolo was shocked to say the least, this new revelation explained so much.
Nappa rolled his eyes. "Namekian or no Namekian! He might be stronger than the rest of this lot but it doesn't matter to us." He added. "We'll just crush you like the rest!"
Piccolo scoffed and formed a smirk on his face. "Three things. You're wrong about the Dragon Balls, I didn't create them." He answered. "I'm not too keen on magic tricks, preferably I'd like to face my opponents in combat. Second, you're wrong if you think we're going to be that easy."
He took a stance. "As for the last thing, it's nice to know where I come from, so I suppose I owe you a thanks for giving me a little lesson in ancestry." He smirked.
Vegeta glanced to Nappa. "You still got those Saibamen?"
Nappa nodded, pulling a capsule from his pockets. "Got six left, should we use them?" He asked. Vegeta nodded in response. "Alrigh-"
"Hold it." Raditz interrupted. "We don't need to waste those things, I'll take care of the weaklings myself!"
Nappa placed the clear capsule back in his pocket, turning to Raditz. "Wait a second, you can't take them all, you won't leave any fun for us!"
Raditz gave a dismissive wave. "Not all of them, just the weakest of the bunch. I'll clear them and get them out of the way." He explained. "Then you can have your fun."
Nappa grinned. "Alright! Thanks for being a pal, Raditz!"
Raditz rolled his eyes. "Don't get used to it. I'm only here waiting to have a rematch with Kakarot!" He said. His gaze moved around their opposing fighters. "Speaking of which, where is he?"
"On his way." Krillin spoke up. "And when he gets here, you'll all be sorry you ever came to Earth!"
Vegeta cackled evilly. "You think Kakarot could stop us? He died against Raditz!" He pointed out. "And in case it wasn't obvious, Raditz is twice as strong as then, so I hardly think he stands a chance."
Piccolo scoffed. "Two times or even three times stronger, it doesn't matter." A slightly annoyed smirk formed on Piccolo's face. "It pains me to admit it but Goku's been training in the Otherworld where he's gotten ridiculously strong!"
Nappa chuckled wickedly. "You think a little trip to the Afterlife is gonna make him strong enough to handle any of us?"
Piccolo cracked his knuckles. "Well we'll just have to wait and see." He said, cracking his neck. "How about we quit the chit chat!"
"I like the sound of that! Who's coming after me first!" Nappa smirked.
Piccolo gave a confused look. "Coming after you first? Screw that! We'll fight you all at once, no games!"
Vegeta shook his head. "Let's slow down for a minute, there's only three of us, and six of you, that doesn't seem quite fair." He said, mockingly. His gaze moved over to Raditz. "How about Raditz makes a pick and takes three of you on at once. We'll watch the fight from there and then we'll see how it goes from there."
PIccolo snarled angrily. "Hell no! If you think we're just going to follow along then you're wrong!"
"Hold on a second, Piccolo." Krillin interrupted. "Perhaps it's not a bad idea to buy some time? Y'know until Goku gets here?"
Tien nodded in agreement. "Yea, it might do us some good to handle it strategically?" He suggested.
Piccolo growled then sighed. "Fine." He turned to look at the three Saiyans. "We'll do it your way…for now."
Raditz took a few steps forward, examining the six fighters. "Hmm let's see then! Who should be the first pick?" His gaze moved back and forth from the six, pressing the button on his scouter as he did, stopping on Tienshinhan. "Let's see, I'll go with Baldie, Baldie, and…Baldie with a bad skin condition."
Nappa turned to Raditz, slightly annoyed. "Baldie? What do you have with Bald people, Raditz?"
Raditz cackled. "Nothing, I just think it's a pretty funny coincidence."
Chiaotzu frowned angrily. "I'm not bald." He lifted his cap, showing his single strand of hair. "I have hair!"
Raditz looked unamused then scoffed. "Barely." He sighed. "Fine, whatever, technicalities are technicalities. In that case…I'll take the brat." His gaze moved to Goten, who seemed over-eager to fight. "How's that sound?"
Goten looked steaming with rage, his fists clenched again, his teeth gritting. "Good then I can make you give Gohan back!" He snarled, taking a few steps forward. Quickly, Krillin pulled the back of his collar and swung him over. "Hey! What're you doing Krillin?!"
Krillin pulled Goten over into a circle with him and Tien. "Calm down Goten, if you jump in there you'll get killed almost immediately!" He said. Goten frowned in response, his gaze still fixed on Raditz.
"Exactly. So we'll do this right." Tien added. "Krillin and I will take him on ourselves and you'll play support."
Goten's angry frown turned into a one of slight shock and disappointment. "What? Support?! Come on! I wanna fight him for real!"
Krillin placed a hand on his shoulder. "You'll get to but we can't have you dying on us right away." He explained. "Tien and I have known each other for years so we'll be able to coordinate better, it's the best chance for everyone."
Raditz rolled his eyes. "Hey!" He shouted. "Are you gonna keep chit chatting or are we going to fight?!"
Krillin took a turn, a serious look formed on his face as he nodded. "Yeah we're ready." He looked at Goten. "Just remember the plan alright?" Goten sighed and nodded in response.
Raditz took a stance. "Good, I was beginning to fall asleep!" He made a provoking gesture with his hand, telling them to come after him. As they did, he pressed the button on his scouter. "Seven hundred and eighty, Six hundred and forty, and four hundred and fifty. They're hiding their powers…"
Tien was the first one to go after Raditz, vanishing as he rushed forward, appearing above Raditz and aiming his foot at Raditz's shoulder junction. As Tien approached, Raditz disappeared from sight, causing Tien's foot to make contact with the ground instead.
Raditz reappeared behind Tien, aiming his fist at Tien's rhomboid but stopped midway when he blocked a kick from the side by Krillin. "You're fighting more than just one of us buddy!" Krillin shouted. He inched a couple back, throwing his fist shortly after, missing as Raditz spun to face him and tilted his head.
Krillin moved in closer and hurled his fist but Raditz deflected it out of the way. Before he could counter, Tien came from behind, throwing a high kick, Raditz bent low seeing the leg pass by his chest and head, rebalancing himself and jumping back once it was gone.
Immediately, Raditz was met with another fist aiming for his face. He raised his two arms, creating an x in front of him and blocked the attack, sliding back several feet and kicking dirt up behind his feet. This was quickly followed by two energy spheres coming his way.
The two energy spheres struck through several trees and bushes instead as Raditz flew in an instant to a a couple hundred feet in the air. Tien and Krillin flew after him, Tien taking the lead as he hurled another fist that was easily avoided.
Krillin's knee struck nothing but air as Raditz expertly dodged the attack, disappearing from sight in a split second. With his incredible speed, Raditz reappeared behind Krillin, delivering a powerful kick to his back, sending him hurtling towards the ground.
Meanwhile, Tien continued his relentless assault, launching a barrage of ki blasts towards Raditz. But with remarkable agility, Raditz evaded the energy blasts, swiftly maneuvering through the sky with a combination of flips and aerial twists. He weaved effortlessly between the incoming attacks, each movement a display of his refined combat skills.
In a sudden burst of energy, Raditz propelled himself towards Tien, closing the distance between them in an instant. With a fierce battle cry, he unleashed a flurry of lightning-fast punches and kicks, each strike accompanied by explosive bursts of energy.
Their clash intensified, the sound of their blows echoing throughout the battlefield. Raditz demonstrated his raw power, launching devastating energy waves and unleashing devastating combinations that pushed Tien to his limits. But Tien refused to back down, channeling his inner strength to withstand the onslaught and retaliating with his own devastating attacks.
As the battle raged on, the intensity reached its peak. Raditz and Tien danced through the air, their movements a symphony of power and technique. Every punch, every kick, and every blast resonated with the immense energy pulsating within them. The surrounding landscape bore the scars of their epic clash, with trees uprooted and the earth cracked beneath their feet.
A short moment later, Raditz appeared behind Tien, creating a double-ax handle with his fists and striking the back of Tien's neck, causing Tien to plummet towards the ground. Krillin was quick to catch Tien and stop his falling, however this allowed Raditz an opening.
Raditz rushed after the two, energy gathered in his fists, as he darted towards them, his energy trailing behind him. An inch before he reached them, Goten came from the side, his foot kicking Raditz's left rib cage and sending Raditz over fifty yards away.
"Are you guys okay?!" Goten asked.
Krillin and Tien nodded as they adjusted their positions. "Yea, good job, Goten." Krillin answered. His eyes darted to the now rushing Raditz, who had his sights aimed at Goten. Krillin acted quickly, and hurled his fist at Raditz as he approached but Raditz grabbed his arm, continued moving to Goten and swung Raditz like a sword against Goten.
Before he could, Tien kicked the right side of Raditz's back, causing his grip from Krillin to be released and him to be sent several yards another way.
Raditz growled angrily. "That's it!" He clenched his fists and powered up, darting to Krillin first, his fist colliding into Krillin's lower abdomen, causing Krillin to double over, gasping for air, and lose his grip on flying.
Before he even began to fall, Raditz vanished, appeared behind Tien and struck with a double ax-handle into the back of his neck, making Tien plummet to the ground rapidly, crashing through several trees and small rock formations.
Goten's eyes widened slightly. "Tien! Krillin!" He shouted.
"You should be worrying about yourself, brat!" Raditz yelled, hurling a fist Goten's way. Goten moved to the side, barely dodging the attack and was met with another fist striking his cheek, causing him to be sent several feet away.
Tien and Krillin quickly pushed themselves off the ground. "We need to coordinate better! Pincer attack, I'll come from the left, you go to the right!" He shouted. Krillin nodded in response. Tien bursted with speed, flying ahead as he wrapped around and moved to the left of Raditz who had his sights aimed on Goten.
Raditz whipped his attention to Tien, turning around, deflecting Tien's fist, then launched a powerful punch into his gut. Krillin came from behind him, swinging his leg against the back of Raditz's head causing him to stumble in the air.
As Krillin aimed another attack at Raditz, Raditz spun and slammed the right side of Krillin with his lower leg, "Goten! Now!" Krillin shouted as he spiraled several yards away.
Regaining his balance, Goten turned to face Raditz, and darted towards him, his right fist crackling with energy, as he slammed it against Raditz's chin. Raditz went several yards away before gaining his balance once again, as he gained his balance, Tien came straight ahead, his fist hurling to Raditz's face.
Raditz tilted his neck to the side and hurled his fist against Tien's right cheek, then another blow to his jaw, and a third blow with his elbow to Tien's center part of his ribcage. As Tien plummeted to the ground, Raditz unleashed a barrage of energy blasts.
Krillin kicked Raditz in the shoulder junction, sending him plummeting to the ground, Goten followed after, appearing ahead of Raditz, unleashing an energy wave against Raditz. As the blast struck and collided against him before engulfing him completely.
There was an intense burning pain that radiated around Raditz as he was being pushed away by the blast. With a burst of energy and a loud shout, he pushed the energy around him off of him, and continued to push the blast back.
"You think that's enough to damage me?!" Raditz shouted, his hand pushing against Goten's blast. "I'll show you a real blast!" His aura fiercely raging, Raditz unleashed energy in the palm of his hand that formed into a sphere and quickly into a torrential wave as it pushed against Goten's blast, quickly overwhelming it and consuming Goten.
Goten tried to block the attack, his arms crossed in front of him, but the attack prevailed. In the blur of the moment, Krillin grabbed Goten from the blast, powering through it, his clothes being tattered and slightly burnt on some areas.
Once he made it through and a good distance past, he adjusted his posture and let Goten gain his balance mid-air. "Are you okay?" He asked. Goten nodded in response.
"Hey you three! Get a grip!" Piccolo yelled. "You shouldn't be struggling that hard!"
Krillin turned to Tien. "He's right, let's try this again, I'll lead and you follow!" He said. Tien nodded in response. Krillin darted forward, a blazing trail of energy followed him. He turned at the last second to the right side of Raditz as Raditz turned to follow him, a fist collided into Raditz's two arms which he used to block the attack.
Not even a second after, Krillin vanished from the spot, and Tien appeared behind Raditz, giving a palm strike to Raditz's upper back as he generated an energy sphere in the same hand, sending Raditz several feet away til he quickly rebalanced, disappearing from the energy blast.
The energy blast instead hit the ground beneath them, causing a small explosion that created a small crater, eradicating any life around it. Raditz quickly reappeared, a foot above Tien as he aimed a fist at Tien's face, but Krillin came from above, his foot striking Raditz's back.
Raditz went plummeting for several yards, stopping himself mid-way. He charged after the two, his fangs bared, anger visible on his face, as he aimed his elbow at Krillin's face. Tien thrusted forward, slamming his knee into Raditz's lower abdomen, stunning him before he could.
Krillin followed, hurling a fist into Raditz's right cheek. Tien hurled another fist against Raditz's chin, following that Krillin swung his lower leg against Raditz's side, Tien placed his index finger against Raditz's chest and slammed his fist, rapidly closing the gap causing a mini shockwave to generate.
Each attack Krillin and Tien threw at him pushed Raditz a few feet away back, leaving him unable to attack. As they did another barrage of attacks, they both gave a combined attack, Tien giving a spinning back kick into Raditz's gut and Krillin slamming his elbow into Raditz's face.
"Goten!" Krillin shouted, Raditz went flying for several hundred yards, crashing towards a rock formation.
Goten was a bit stunned for a second, shaking his head as he snapped back into reality and nodded. He flew ahead of Raditz, and slammed a double ax-handle into the back of Raditz's head, causing him to crash into a rock formation below.
Krillin looked at Tien, giving him a signaling nod, and the two flew down to where Raditz crashed, covered in rubble. Krillin stretched his two hands out together as he began to chant the words "Ka…".
Clenching his fists, Tien took a powering stance, his aura enveloping around him as he gritted his teeth and his veins bulging. While Tien was doing this, Krillin brought his hands towards his waist as he turned them, sparkling energy collected in between his hands, chanting "Me..".
A few seconds later, two additional arms grew out of Tien as Raditz slowly began to bring himself out of the rubble.
Vegeta and Nappa looked surprised at this. "That's a little freaky! He's got two extra arms, where did those come from?!" Nappa gasped.
"It looks like he just grew them, must be some kind of technique." Vegeta pointed out, stating the obvious.
His additional right hand gripped on to his additional left wrist, his additional left index finger pointed towards Raditz, similarly his original left hand was gripped on his right wrist, with his right index finger pointed at Raditz, as it rapidly gathered energy, creating small spheres in front of them.
"Hame!" A blue energy sphere formed from the sparkling blue energy that collected in between Krillin's hands. As Raditz finished pulling himself up, the two fighters unleashed their attacks, Krillin shoved his hands back forward, shouting "HAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The blue sphere formed into a violent wave of pure energy, and at the same time the two small spheres from Tien's hands, formed into smaller yet still quite a size energy waves. Around the same time Tien shouted. "Dodon Wave!"
The two streams of energy merged seamlessly, their united force forming a colossal wave that encircled Krillin's Kamehameha. Approaching Raditz with unstoppable fury, the merged beam struck and consumed him entirely, his eyes widening in a split second before the impact.
As the blast tore through the rocky backdrop, its destructive path stretched for hundreds of yards, propelling Raditz backward. The intense assault shattered his armor in various places, obliterating his shoulder pads and tearing his jumpsuit into tatters. The lower right side of his armor crumbled under the overwhelming force.
The searing energy ignited Raditz's nerves, scorching his skin and inflicting second and third-degree burns across his body. The pain seeped deep into his being, leaving him ravaged and vulnerable. Tien and Krillin were left panting heavily, the explosion violently erupted for several seconds as the two caught their breath.
The two additional arms on Tien vanished shortly after, and as the explosion settled, smoke and dust arrived. Silence loomed in the area as all waited for the smoke and dust to settle, as it did, it revealed Raditz pulling himself to his feet once again, several damaged.
He looked steamed, his fangs bared and his teeth gritting. "I've had enough of this crap! You're just a bunch of stupid Earthlings!" He snarled. He darted to the others, his arm slamming into Tien's neck, causing Tien to fall against the ground. Raditz spun and turned facing Krillin shortly after, his knee thrusting into Krillin's gut.
Raditz rammed his fist into Krillin's right cheek after, sending Krillin several hundred feet away, through rocks, boulders, trees, bushes, and other debris.
Goten's eyes widened. "Oh no!" He released his aura as he flew to Raditz, aiming a fist but without turning to face him, Raditz struck his fist into Goten's gut, causing Goten to freeze mid-air, clutching his stomach and gasping for air.
Raditz growled viciously. "And this! This!" He turned around to face Goten, his fist slamming into Goten's right cheek, causing Goten to crash in a nearby rock formation. "This stupid brat! How a filthy half breed can be so powerful!" He stretched his right hand out, aimed at Goten, his palm opened, and energy swirling in front of it.
He placed his left hand on his wrist as he took a stance. "Ridiculous! You should be dead! You don't deserve to exist!" The energy in front of his hand formed into a sphere that rapidly grew. "And after I kill you, I'll make sure to give Kakarot the most painful death for creating such an abomination like you!"
With a powerful violent roar, he unleashed a purple energy wave at Goten as Goten sat up. The color drained from Goten's face, shielding his eyes with his arm and screaming as he saw it come at him.
"Special Beam Cannon!" Goten had a confused expression on his face as he realized the wave never came, removing his arm from his eyes seeing a powerful and enormous yellow beam colliding against Raditz's Shining Friday, rapidly overwhelming it and piercing through Raditz's chest the second after. Blood spilled immediately out of his mouth and his chest as he was knocked back several feet away.
The beam had obviously come from Piccolo who was now behind Goten by a few feet. "Damn it!" He muttered, cursing under his breath. "I didn't want to have to do that." He walked up to the now dying Raditz, whose own vital liquid continued to pour out of him and stain the ground beneath him.
"T-That was a.. c-cheap and.. d-dirty move!" Raditz snarled, uttering weakly. "Y-You s-should've waited your..t-turn!"
Piccolo scoffed. "Like I said, I don't play games. You dropped your guard down." He answered. "Tell me where the hell you hid Goku's other brat."
"H-Ha!" Raditz shouted. He gave Piccolo a gesture with his middle finger. "Like I'd tell you, especially now!" His last breath drew as his body went limp, his arm fell to the ground and his head turned.
Piccolo let out a weary sigh and made his way over to Tien and Krillin. "You two still have some energy left?"
Tien and Krillin nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we should be fine. Just need a bit of rest," Krillin replied.
"Good," Piccolo muttered, his expression unamused. He then turned his attention towards Goten, who was struggling to get back on his feet.
"Thanks, Picco-"
Cutting him off with a growl, Piccolo snapped, "What the hell was that?! You could have easily escaped, but instead, you just stood there!"
Goten gulped nervously, biting his lower lip. "I-I couldn't. It was g-going too f-"
"No, it wasn't. You did exactly the opposite of what I told you," Piccolo retorted. "I explicitly warned you never to let your guard down, yet you got cocky! Next time, I won't be there to save you."
Goten nodded quietly, his head lowered. "Y-Yes S-Sir." He frowned. Piccolo returned to the others, with Krillin and Tien following behind.
Goten nodded quietly, his head hanging low. "Y-Yes, Sir," he murmured, a frown etching across his face. Piccolo then turned back to the group, with Krillin and Tien trailing behind.
"Hey, Piccolo, you didn't have to be so tough on him. It was his first battle," Krillin whispered.
Piccolo scoffed dismissively. "Yeah, and it could have been his last. What's your damn point?"
Krillin shrugged, trying to reason, "I'm just saying, he did pretty well for his first fight. You can't blame him; he's only five."
Rolling his eyes, Piccolo explained, "This isn't a place for mistakes. If he dies, it's not just his life on the line. He could jeopardize all of us. This is war, and we can't afford to take unnecessary risks. You get it right the first time. He got lucky this time but that won't be the case next time."
To be continued…
A/N: I've been wanting to do this for awhile but I normally try to stray from writing powerlevels because it takes focus from actually writing the story which is complete amateur hour, but here's a general idea of this chapter's fighters.
Special Beam Cannon: Higher than 3,000
Raditz: 3,000
Tienshinhan: 1,980
Krillin: 1,760
Goten: 1,360
