Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Hunter and Soldier. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I do not own Halo, Microsoft, and 343 do.
(2551, August 9th, Kronstadt 3:42 AM, UNSC Leviathan)
Gram sat in silence, very much within silence as he paused to think of what was growing in his throat.
There was a lot more pain in his mind… Now? He was silent before he relaxed.
They had a mission, all of Silver Squad. He was grateful that neither of them had anything else left to deal with for now.
They had a lot to deal with for now at the end of the day…. Perhaps something would break within them now and all… It was clear that he had a lot more they had more to deal with for now.
If nothing else? There was more to the combat than it seemed to deal with for now.
Cal hummed to try and figure it out now at the time. She looked at him, drumming on her foot as she paused, and then looked at Gram, her rifle laid out in front of her.
Gram sighed and shook his head; Cal's blonde hair framed her face almost like a pale ghost and it reminded him that she was still one of the most lethal soldiers inside the UNSC army.
They had a lot more to deal with now and for good reason, it was clear they would continue fighting.
She did not trust him and he did not wish to trust her without knowing her plans. Gram was loyal but he was reckless and every single time he tried? She had always put something in her way which made him more reckless.
It was a vicious cycle, one they continued to dance through… Only in the glory of how it was put would one request above another.
They were soldiers, they were skilled and they were given a glorious purpose for now.
They had a lot more to deal with for now… There appeared a few seconds of silence as both soldiers took stock of the situation.
To be fair? It was not as if either could have done much… Neither would admit to having the smallest thing in their friendship.
Though? They were comrades purely because of things like this Now and all. It was a lot more than they could have relaxed for now.
The alarm made both soldiers turn back to it, curious as to HOW this would end up going through it all back and forth.
They had an assignment and it was clear they were asked to deal with more than it now, more than it needed.
To be fair? There was as much loyalty within them both as before. Nothing changed that, nothing brought it down even a little… They were skilled in the way they were asked to fight.
Perhaps it brought them some sense of family, it was certainly more than they had originally.
They were warriors, they were Spartans. They bickered, they fought? And they won, they always won no matter what the odds, what the enemy was that had to be defeated.
That would always be it. Now? Now they had nothing left to deal with.
Cal seems to relax for now… They were tired for now as it was all done and dusted. Cal was all too interested at the end of the day before they had to relax.
There was a lot more to try and deal with for now… Cal seemed to be dealt with for the end of the day.
Something within them both had not yet ended them…. Cal tapped on her foot, tired and for no real reason now.
It was easier, easier to relax and to figure out something new. To be fair? There was more now than it should have been.
"You know we have a LOT more to do before the war ends, right? I know you do not want to die." Cal stated to which Gram hummed.
Cal hummed, Gram raised an eyebrow and she looked onwards as she paused, thinking of what was occurring for now.
Part of it was entirely odd, a soldering part of each little thing on the mind. Gram crossed his arms, the smaller spartan glancing over at her only as he realized something.
Cal would not change… He would not have changed at all. Both wanted nothing more than a victory for now.
Something for now… This was a clear little option to deal with. Cal was curious for a moment as she perhaps thought of it.
They had more to deal with it for now. Something within Gram was curious as to how the Spartan was eager to fight for now and she was all too much for now and for good reason… What little had not occurred.
They had a lot more to deal with… Cal seemed to be dealt with for now… There were a lot of ideas left on their minds, soldiers who could not have dealt with the best now.
To be honest? She did not much mind the silence, it gave her some degree of peace, an idea which would not be replicated for now… Now? It was worse than before now.
This was more chaotic for now. It would be harder and harder to deal with for now.
The idea of it all seemed to be more than needed… A chaotic little gesture of which there was no escape. She knew only pain, only interest in it all.
There was a lot more to deal with for now as he clicked his fingers… Now? Now he had more left and at the time being…. Something would need to think of what was growing for a few seconds of idea what was going on for now.
Cal hummed and then thought of what was going on before she sighed and then thought of what was going on.
Cal seemed to be exhausted to be dealt with for now… She had been too disturbed at the end of it… She had been too dealt with for now.
Cal hummed and tapped on her feet. She paused to think of what was going on in her mind… She had not once more as she relaxed to think of what as she paused.
Something about it all had to be done.
She was tired, a soldier, a skilled one… It was more and more with it as he had to be dealt with for now as she paused to think of it.
Cal hummed and then thought of it all as she wished to be dealt with for now… They had a lot more to deal with for now.
Cal hummed and cracked her fingers and then paused to think of it all had been too much for now as she paused to think of what was going to be dealt with.
She had no desire to see it for now. Cal and Gram were inseparable… She knew that as did her friends for now, it had been something else to deal with for now.
Something about it all had been too much.
"You are tired… And being just as exhausted as I told you that you would be… Because you have been exhausted." Gram stated before he sighed and looked to the side.
He had been too much for now… It had been more chaotic for now. She had been too disturbed to now and it was more chaotic for now.
"You always think it is easy being the commander? Having to make the hard choices… It is not so easy when you think. It is never easy when it comes down to it all." Cal stated before she hummed to deal with it all now.
She tapped to her feet, she yawned, the muscles within her body had ended up being cracked for now.
Cal hummed and then thought of what was going on now when it had been done now… Something about it all had been more and more inside it all for now and it had been too distracted.
Cal hummed and then cracked her fingers as she paused to think of it all now, she crossed her arms and legs and then put her hands in her lap, bored and distracted once more.
She was tired, thrown off and it had been too much for now and it had been something else. Cal hummed and then thought of it all as she paused to think of it all.
Cal hummed to think of what was going on now when it came down to it. She was bored and more exhausted as the other Spartans seemed to be dealt with for now.
They had at all now as she paused to think of it, Gram hummed and then thought about what was going on before she relaxed to deal with it all now.
Something about that was tiring now and for a good reason… It would end now and end forever… All too much before now when it came down to it for it all.
She was a soldier, she was a soldier and would always be a soldier, they all were… UNSC soldiers and elite warriors who were left to relax for now… It was a lot more to deal with for now… Something about it all had been too much left on the horizon.
She was all too prepared to die if she had to… It was part of being a Spartan, he knew that but he was not at all ready for now… Not at all when it comes down to it.
Though? That was too much of what was going on before it ended.
He had a lot more left to deal with for now and for a good reason at the time being when it was all over… Something about it all had to be ended now.
He looked over at her and then sighed, pausing for a moment… He was tired, too tired now to understand it all at the end of it all.
He was so annoyed and Gram tapped on his legs, pausing to relax… Now? Each little idea had been harder and harder to think of now…. It had not been dealt with for now… He had no such idea as to how it would end.
He was so tired and bored with it all now, an idea for now was more than needed to be dealt with for now… They had no such ideas later.
"And what would the others say of you trying to be like this? You cannot pretend you always know what is going on when it comes down to it… We always get distracted and we always get distracted from what we have left to deal with…" Gram stated before he sighed to himself.
He had no idea left for now. There was a lot more left to distract it for now.
"We need to go talk to the Admiral… They have plenty left to deal with…. The war is not over yet." Gram stated before he sighed to himself as he paused once more as she thought of it all differently.
They had such delights to deal with for now… It would be much harder to relax once more and then sighed, pausing only to relax.
They had a LOT more left to deal with for now… He had a lot more now left on his mind… An idea more amusing than he had at all done now and for a good reason.
Almost all over now.
They had plenty left to do until then
