Chapter:31 To Mt. Glenn!

Team RABG are yet on a mission, Team RWBY and JNPR joined in along with Surge, but Sabrina decided to join with Koga with looking out for Diantha.

Everyone were already in the hangar except for Red as they were waiting for the leader of Team RABG to come so they could get into their mission.

"Where is that idiot now?" Blue grumbles in annoyance while Green let out a giggle.

"You do know what happened ever since Red revealed who he was. In public," She said as she and some of their friends let out nervous laughter.

Days after what happened in The Club, fans of Red and Diantha's group began to flock around them, making it impossible for the six of them to get away if it wasn't for the older generation having some experience with this while Red and Diantha have Giovanni's subordinates helping them escape.

This has happened so much that the teachers and Headmaster have to help separate them from the twins.

"Still, he needs to be here in time," Weiss said.

"He must've ran into trouble," Ruby said.

Then they heard it, screaming.

There running towards then is Red running in fear while a large crowd of girl and a small group of boys chasing him.

"Start the Bullhead! Start the Bullhead! START THE BULLHEAD!!!" Red yelled at the group in fear as they immediately went in the Bullhead in fear of facing Red's fans.

"Get us in the air but don't leave the kid!" Surge ordered the pilot.

"Roger," The pilot then let the Bullhead soar in the air but didn't take off just yet.

Seeing this, Red fired off his grapples and both Blue and Green caught them. He then reeled himself in as his fans tried to grab him but failed to do so.

Now in the air and Red on board, the Bullhead flies away before any of the fans plan to do the same thing as Red did.

Now far away, Red let out a sigh of relief.

"They were so stubborn when I keep telling them that I have a girlfriend, but they still won't give up," Red said.

"And you think that they would just give up due to that?" Green asked.

"At first yeah, but I guess some of them are really crazy. Heck even the guys want to get into my pants," Red said as his fellow male friends look at him with sympathy.

"Alright brats! Listen up!" Surge decided to quickly change the subject. "Today's mission will be investigating Mt. Glenn. As all of you known, ever since what happened with Emerald Forest, we managed to get connections with the scraps Red and Jaune found which leads to Mt. Glenn, and there is one known company back in the days is the source of it. Merlot Industries."

"How can something from a dead company suddenly appear on Emerald Forest?" Yang asked.

"That's a mystery on itself. No one really knew what happened to the owner of the company. He is either dead or hiding, but the place where his company is the only place where we can find any clues," Surge said as he then look at the students. "So keep an eye out for anything strange. Got it?"

Everyone nods as the Bullhead continues to got towards Mt. Glenn.

The group soon arrived at Mt. Glenn as the Bullhead left while they began to explore the ruined city.

Everyone keep their eyes around, looking around for clues while watching out for any Grimms in the area.

Red is currently high above, hanging on the side of the building with one of his grapples anchoring on the roof while his feet were on the wall.

"Clear!" He called out to everyone below.

"Here as well!" Blake was also doing the same, just a bit further away from Red.

"Alright everyone move!" Surge ordered as everyone continued onwards on their mission.

Everyone began to split up by their teams to spread out while Surge set up camp in one of the abandoned buildings.

With Team RABG, the evenly gendered team were walking through an abandoned street, weapons ready while still remaining calm.

"So what kind of Grimms do you think live here?" Red asked his best friend.

"Probably natives to Vale but I wouldn't doubt that there would be also Grimms migrating here from Vacuo and Mistral," Blue said.

"Well there is also some Grimm that migrates here from Atlas but those were rare," Green said.

"Speaking of Atlas, how was your life there?" Red asked as Green flinched a bit, making him feel guilty. "Sorry I-"

"No it's okay," Green assured her leader. "It has been a very long time, but I do sometimes miss the cold seasons in Mantle."

"Snowball fights?" Red guessed as Green let out a giggle.

"I miss those days," She said with a look of nostalgia.

"But why didn't choose to come back home?" Yellow asked.

"It's..." Green then has a complicated look on her face, before taking a small sigh. "Complicated."

"Its okay, you can tell us if you feel like it," Red said as he gave her a smile. "We are a team aren't we?"

"Just don't hold it for too long," Blue said.

"We are always here for you," Yellow said which made the brunette smile.

"Thanks guys."

The four of them continued patrolling the area, together.

Everyone soon returned to their makeshift base for some lunch, Jaune and Yellow helping Surge with cooking the food while the others have to wait.

Jaune then took the sniff of the aroma whiffing out of the pot and said, "Alright, we just let this simmer and we're good to eat."

"Then I hope it's good," Yang commented.

"We made sure everyone wold like it," Yellow assured them before sitting next to Red.

"So... any interesting stories about Red?" Nora asked Surge as the cap wearing teen did a spit take.

"Hmm... Why do you want to know?" The lieutenant asked the bombardier.

"Pyrrha barely talks about it so you must have some interesting ones," Nora said.

"Hey now! Do I have a say in this?" Red said in indignation.

"Well there's that one time Ketchum dances for-"

"Oh you are not telling them that!" Red quickly cuts in, knowing the dance that he was talking about.

"Spoilsport. Well how about the time he tried to launch himself in the air with those vials he has and fails?"

"I-"

"That does sound interesting," Yang asked, unintentionally cutting Red off.

"Hey-"

"I do wonder as well," Jaune said.

"Okay-"

"Really Red?" Yellow asked with a raised eyebrow. Giving up, Red just slumps in defeat as everyone but Blue and Pyrrha were interested for the story.

"That was one of his most stupidest ideas, he almost broke his Aura if it wasn't for his Semblance almost powered up," Blue commented.

"Hey! You gave me the idea!" Red retorted.

"I was thinking about it, you went with it," The brown haired teen countered.

"Yeah, you kinda jump it when Blue said fly," Pyrrha added as Red look at her in betrayal while everyone laughs.

"Well did he succeed?" Blake asked.

"Oh yeah but the results weren't what he expected," Surge said as he had to suppress a chuckle. "He managed to launch himself high in the sky alright, but he forgot one important thing."

"He forgot that he doesn't have wings," Blue said as everyone began to laugh while Red let out a groan.

Seeing that Red didn't want to hear another one, Yellow chimes in "How about a story about Blue and Green?"

The others look at her, especially Green having a look of shock while Blue already saw this coming.

"Well there's not a lot about Oak boy there, but I have a lot with the little lady," Surge said.

"Hey now-"

"Oh~ Let's hear one," Yang said with a smile on her face.

"Back then, she doesn't know how to properly use her weapon and it comes with pretty amusing moments."

Green then look at Red, seeing him with a look of pleasure on his face as she groans.

"So there's that one time she would try her weapon's glider mode by jumping off the roof of one of the boss's house but she forgot to activate it and crashed through the pavement below."

While some laughed, some were concerned.

"Was she alright?" Blake asked.

"She has her Aura unlocked so she easily handle the impact but that doesn't mean she wasn't unaffected."

"She gotten a concussion didn't she?" Blue said bit the brunette could see that her partner is enjoying this.

"She got that from the fall and that shield of hers fell on top of her head," Surge said as some of the group chuckles.

"Ha. Ha. Ha," Green let out a sarcastic laugh as she just have her arms crossed.

As the teens continue laughing aloud, Surge looked outside to see the sun halfway on reaching the horizon.

"Alright brats, I'm taking the first shift. You will set up camp until I return and two of you will take your own shift," Surge said as he grabbed his weapon and left, leaving the teens to finish their lunch and set up camp.

It was now evening as Green sat on the edge on the roof of the building where they are camping in.

She just stare at the sky in deep thought, her two weapons just beside her as she took a deep breathe before letting out.

"Chirp!'

"Eep!" Green let out a squeak as she looked to her left to see a small flock of sparrows.

She then let out a sigh of relief as she just realized that she just over reacted.

"Birds huh?" The brunette then looked behind her to see Blue walking towards her.

"Pfft! Nah," Green just waves it off. "Birds? Ha! I could easily shoot them down."

"Yet you screamed when a bird smack on your face during initiation," Blue reminded her as Green just scoffs.

"Anyone would do the same thing when something suddenly smack on your face," She said as she look back to the view in front of her, a desolate city with barely any sign of life.

"Perhaps," Blue said as he sat beside her and joined looking at the city of Mt. Glenn.

The two just sat there, watching the lightless city in silence.

"Alright," Green then decided to break the silence in annoyance. "What do you want?"

"It's my shift now," He simply said as Green owlishly blinked.

"Oh," She said as she then stood up and grabbed her weapons before leaving.

"Hey Bell!" Blue called to her as he faced her and the brunette looked back. "If you ever hear a screech, you better not freeze."

Green didn't say anything as she just turned around and walked away.

Blue then looked back to the sight of the abandoned city with his weapon in hand, setting down some bullets near him, and taking a small breath as he began his shift.

Green is now walking down the stairs to get to their camp, she just let out a sigh as she carried both her weapons with both hands.

"Why am I remembering them now," She mutters as she continues her descent.

"Hey Green," The brunette then saw Ruby have just come out of a room that was perpendicular to the stairs and their camp.

"Sup Rubes, what were you doing there?" Green asked.

"Oh, we found a somewhat functioning bathroom there. The water is fine but the place does need a bit of a fixer upper." Ruby said.

"Neat," Green said as she put up a smile but the younger quickly saw through it.

"What's wrong?" Ruby asked with a concerned tone, causing the brunette to flinch a bit but quick hide it with a yawn.

Green said as she continued to walk down. "I might just be tired."

"Are you sure?" The young girl asked.

"I'm sure, I would be fine tomorrow," She said as she then walk pass the young leader.

Ruby looks at the brunette with a frown on her face and thought, 'What are you hiding?'

She knew that something is wrong with Green but she doesn't know to do with this, so she hopes that Red and his team could help her teammate in her dire times.

And that is it for this chapter!

Now I think I'm getting some development here!

My confidence just continues to soar and really gives me the courage to do this more, but not anything outside of this.

Doing RWBY stories and crossovers is practically my safe zone, and I don't feel comfortable having to try and redirect the story that would result to a different path.

While I would have add ons on my stories to further development, I would make sure that it still follows the story yet feels unique from other stories.

Seriously, who ever thought of having Pokémon Adventures characters in their stories. I only know a really small amount of authors that do so since the Adventures manga was really overshadowed by the games and anime by a landslide.

Heck, I am still at the beginning of the Johto arc of the manga due to having a lot of story updates that would make me forget and schoolwork.

I really wish that I have more confidence to widen my horizon or really some help to create other stories but I really don't know how.

It has been a bit tiring so I might just end this here, so I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you guys on the next chapter.

Vic out Peace.
