Chapter 2
Last time: Naruto fought a wolf and lost his eyes, then gained them back from the wolf giving up his own. Naruto was also going to live with the Inuzuka clan.
Naruto was walking with Tsume and her dog partner, towards the Inuzuka clan home, and he thought about the warm feelings in his head and heart for gaining his new eyes and a new family too. Tsume was walking with a smile on her face, for she was hoping to help Naruto gain more improvements in his ninja career, plus he would be a part of her family.
They all arrived at the clan's main building entrance, and went inside to let the others in the clan know what was going to happen. Once they reached the main clan living room, and called for the others to join them there; two of the clan was surprised to see Naruto next to their mom. Kiba was wondering why the dead last of his class was there. His sister, Hana was curious too; but for different reasons, she was wondering why Naruto had a different set of eyes.
Tsume cleared her throat and said, "Naruto is joining our family, and I hope you all will welcome him." Kiba was shocked and yelled, "WHY?!" His mom glared at him and replied, "He is to be welcomed because I was suppose to raise him as his parents wanted me too." Kiba scoffed and said, "Big deal, I bet his parents were deadbeats just like him." Hana glared at Kiba and hit him on the top of his head, then said, "Don't be so stupid, and rude." Tsume smiled at her daughter and then gave her son a big frown plus a glare, and said, "His parents were some of our strongest fighters and they gave their lives to protect him after his birth. Why do you think they were deadbeats when you don't even know anything about Naruto?"
Kiba was surprised and he looked at Naruto, then bowed his head in shame. He apologized to both Naruto and his mom, then headed for his room. Hana shook her head and asked, "Why does Naruto have different eyes?" Tsume replied that he fought a wolf and lost his eyes to said wolf; then had surgery with the eyes from the wolf to replace them. Hana nodded her head in acceptance and went to her room to get ready for dinner later on. Naruto watched Hana go to her room, and looked at Tsume in silence; he wondered how she knew his parents.
It was 6 PM and Tsume was setting up the table for dinner, with Naruto helping. Once Kiba and Hana joined them, they began eating a nice meal of rice with beef, and some vegetables. After they all finished eating, Tsume asked if Kiba and Hana if they could join her and Naruto in the morning for some training. They agreed and all of them headed for bed to get a good night's sleep. Naruto brushed his teeth and got on his sleeping cap and pj's; then he got into bed and slept all night.
