Happy, Carla, and Pantherlily flew up a large ventilation shaft. Carla seemed to be taking the lead by quite a few feet. "Carla, wait up!" Happy shouted while flying faster to keep up with the female exceed.
"We don't have any time to waste!" Carla shouted without looking back at Happy.
We have to rescue Wendy!"
"I agree…" Lily said with a nod, managing to keep pace with Carla just fine. "Happy, you need to pick up the pace."
"I can't help it!" Happy flailed his arms. "I haven't had fish in a day, I can't keep my energy up without it!"
"Now isn't the time to be thinking about fish!" Carla couldn't help but face palm. Even in a situation like this, fish somehow managed to be the first thing on Happy's mind. With a sigh, Carla removed her paw from her face and kept looking ahead. "I suppose it can't be helped…"
"Are we even going the right way?" Happy asked with his expression more serious this time.
"We are," Lily nodded. "I remember this route. This was the route we took to reach the top."
"Ooooh!" Happy snapped his fingers at the memory. "And then we helped Wendy beat that guy!"
"Exactly!" Carla nodded. "With this, we can reach the top once again. I doubt Hyde realized this pathway leads directly to the top."
"Let's hope so…" Lily said. It wasn't long before the three exceeds spotted the same opening they used to reach the top; they were almost there.
"Right there!" Carla exclaimed, activating her Max Speed without delay. She was just about to pass through the opening when a magical barrier appeared in front of the opening, and Carla slammed right into it, falling backwards before catching herself. "What…!?"
The other two exceeds stopped once Carla hit the barrier. "It looks like he caught on after all…" Lily scowled somewhat before attempting something. A puff of smoke appeared around his body for a second as he entered his Battle Form. He took his Musica Sword, allowing it to change into a decent length and flew towards the barrier, aiming a slash at it. However, despite Lily's efforts, the barrier was not budging. "Damn…" Lily fell back, returning to his regular form. "We're so close…"
"We'll have to find another way around…" Carla sighed heavily, but began to look around, spotting a small opening. "There." She flew into the opening, the two males following behind her. After flying through it, the three entered a large room filled with a few elevators, a large door, and Gray, who was sitting in place while watching the various fights taking place on the lacrima screens.
"Gray!" Happy exclaimed, flying towards the ice make mage.
"Eh?" Gray turned once hearing his name called. "Ah, you guys…did you find anything?"
"There's no way in…" Carla sighed. "They're all sealed off."
"Thought so…" Gray replied before pointing to the door. "See that? We gotta wait for the others to win before we can go forward…"
"So, that's how it is, huh?" Lily raised a brow as he examined the fights going on. "Gajeel shouldn't take too long…"
.
.
"Gate of the Lion, I open thee! Gate of the goat, I open thee! Loke, Capricorn!" As Lucy exclaimed this, her two keys shone brightly before releasing two of her trusted spirits side by side, Capricorn and Loke.
"How can we help?" Loke asked while adjusting the cuffs on his suit.
"Take him down!" Lucy said with a slight smirk as she directed her spirits to attack Hollow. "He specializes in summoning and long range lightning magic!"
"Consider it done, Lucy-sama," Capricorn nodded, and was the first to rush forward towards the robed entity. "I will make this short for you!" After reaching Hollow, Capricorn threw a skillfull barrage of punches and kicks.
"Don't speak about me as if you know everything…" Hollow said as his arms crossed behind his back. When Capricorn came in with his attacks, Hollow easily dodged the attacks by moving side to side, a slight afterimage effect, just barely noticeable to the three.
"What…?" Lucy's expression changed to a slight shocked once as Hollow effortlessly avoided each and every strike Capricorn threw at him. Hollow then appeared in front of Capricorn, throwing his palm forward at a blinding speed for a palm strike to the celestial goat's chest, sending him flying into the nearest wall. "Capricorn!"
"Magic Thunder!" Hollow exclaimed, unleashing a purple bolt of lightning directly towards Lucy.
"Watch out!" Loke shouted while picking up Lucy in a bridal style fashion, then quickly jumped away from the Magic Thunder, allowing it to explode. Loke then put Lucy down, charging at Hollow himself, activating his Regulas to activate." Regulas…" Loke then threw his fist towards Hollow's chest, looking for impact. "Impact!" Loke actually managed to land a hit on Hollow, causing Hollow to slide back a few feet, his chest looking rather distorted from the hit. "Eh…?"
"What the…?" Lucy blinked as she watched Hollow's chest fizzle in and out; eventually, a bright light similar to Loke's Regulas appeared and Hollow's chest turned to normal. "What was that…?"
"Magic: Regulas…" Hollow said while examining his hand, allowing the glow of Regulas to surround it. "Ring Magic…yet extremely powerful…" In a flash, Hollow threw his now glowing hand towards Loke's face, the impact so powerful it nearly sent Loke through the wall.
"Loke!" Lucy shrieked as Loke hit the wall. She was do distracted by that that she didn't even notice Hollow appear in front of her with his glowing palm held back.
"Look out!" Capricorn lunged forward, taking the full force of Hollow's palm strike. He flew back, but he turned into golden fuzz as he returned to the spirit world, defeated.
"Capricorn…!" Lucy gasped as her spirit took the full force of the hit. However, she didn't have time to think about that. She jumped back, gaining distance between herself and Hollow while Loke slowly recovered from the hit. "Loke, go back…"
"But…" Loke brought himself onto his feet, but his legs were wobbling.
"I'll be fine." Lucy said with a nod, forcing Loke's gate closed so he wouldn't take any more damage than Lucy wanted him to. Lucy looked at Hollow while pulling out another golden key. "Gate of the Golden Bull, I open thee! Taurus!" A bell chime rang out as Taurus rose from the ground with a loud moo, gripping his axe tightly. Lucy was overjoyed to see that her spirit was in okay condition. "Taurus…"
"Lucy-sama!" Taurus grinned, hearts immediately appearing in his eyes once he looked over Lucy. "I see your nice body has gotten even nicer! Have you been working on your curves!"
"…It's nice to have you back." Lucy said with a slight smile to her spirit before pointing to Hollow. "Now, let's take him down!"
"Of course! Anything for you!" Taurus said while turning around, glaring towards Hollow. "You dare lay a hand on Lucy-sama's nice body!?"
"…" Hollow just remained silent, his arms folded behind his back once again. "Interesting selections of spirits…"
"Moooooo!" Taurus rushed forward, and in one quick motion, slashed Hollow across the chest, cleaving the robed figure into two. "That's what happens when you mess with Lucy-sama!"
"Whoa!" Lucy's expression lit up immensely, it was a one hit victory. Though, there was something off about Hollow, but it didn't seem to matter now. "Nice job, Taurus!" She was going to give her spirit a hug, but she stopped when she noticed something. A yellow core appeared between Hollow's severed body, shimmering brightly. Hollow's body reconstructed and connected itself around this core, and Hollow appeared undamaged, back in his usual stance. "W-What?! But you were cut in two!?"
Hollow shook his head slowly, beginning to speak. "I'm surprised you didn't catch on…I'm not a human being…"
"W-What!?" Lucy's expression shifted as she changed into a stance, gripping her whip. "Are you a spirit then!?"
"Neither…" Hollow said. "I am magic in a solid form…"
"Magic…!? But how is that possible!?" Lucy asked.
"Ask Hyde-kun if you get the chance. Big if…" Hollow replied. "I am held together by the core you just saw, and as you also saw, magic has no real damaging effects on me. You can hit me with magic, or anything else…my body will fall apart, but it will return stronger almost instantly…I have no emotions, I care not for yours…I am empty on the inside…I am…Hollow…"
"I don't care what you are…!" Lucy blurted out. "My spirits and I WILL beat you!"
"If you wish to believe that…" Hollow said as he held his palm forward, aiming it at Taurus and Lucy. "Magic Thunder."
.
.
"You don't need to stall?" Hyde raised a brow at Wendy's statement. "Whatever do you mean by that?"
Suddenly, the wind picked up around Wendy's person, along with red flames appearing around her body. "I can beat you with this…"
"Ah…" Hyde's expression turned into a grin, almost as if he was waiting for this. "Omega Flame Sky…you attained this power from Cynthia. Impressive feat…especially because Omega flames were not meant to be consumed by a regular dragon slayer such as yourself, but you managed to do so just fine…"
"Roar!" Wendy began as her cheeks puffed out, wind and red fire swirling around in a vortex around her mouth.
"I don't think you'll want to do that…" Hyde said, but he figured Wendy wouldn't listen to him anyway.
"Of the Omega Flame Sky Dragon!" Wendy exclaimed, unleashing a large funnel of red fire and blue winds towards Hyde, and just like all the other attacks, they just went right through him, leaving Wendy more irritated more than anything else.
"As I was saying…" Hyde continued. "I don't think you want to do that…" Hyde then reached into his pocket, pulling out a small device. "You see…with this device…I have the ability to control all omega flames. Yours and Cynthia's. However, it will only work just once…" Wendy wasted no time aiming a small roar towards the device in Hyde's hand, but it phased through just as before. "Oh, that was a nice attempt! The script said you would attempt something like that, and you're just being a good little actor right now."
"You leave Cynthia out of this!" Wendy shouted, her expression turning into a glare.
"Oh, I could…But here is your problem Wendy. You see…I can easily wait for her to show up and take control of her flames and recreate Fiore's End, or I could just control the omega flames in your body." Hyde said as his voice could now be heard all over the tower, especially where the Fairy Tail wizards were fighting.
"W-Wait…" Wendy's eyes widened as she took a step back. "What are you saying."
"I'm saying…Unless you want Cynthia to have a repeat of last year…How would you like to be the next Fiore's End?" Hyde explained as his grin grew sinister.
.
.
"WHAT?!" Lucy turned at hearing Hyde speak to Wendy, however this was a mistake as Hollow's Magic Thunder came racing towards her. "Agh…!" Taurus took no time to hesitate, and took the full force of the lightning for Lucy, though he faded into the Spirit World after. "T-Taurus…! Wendy! He can't do that!"
"Oh…so the plan must finally be starting now…" Hollow chuckled a bit.
.
.
"Bastard!" Natsu glared up at the ceiling, presumably glaring up at Hyde for the mere suggestion. He didn't keep his senses off Apollo, so he evaded an incoming meteor with a backflip. "Oi!"
"Oh…" Apollo smirked somewhat at Hyde's question. "The plan is finally beginning…"
"We're not gonna let it happen! Hold on, Wendy, we're almost there!" Natsu roared as he charged Apollo once more.
.
.
"He can't do that…!" Lisanna's eyes widened as she looked to Mirajane.
"He's not GOING to do that, rather…" Mirajane replied as she turned to face Terra Condor, who was flying around in an erratic pattern, making it difficult to track his movements. "We're going to wrap this battle up quickly, Lisanna. We have to make sure this doesn't happen."
"Right!" Lisanna nodded, focusing on Terra Condor.
"You'll never beat me in time!" Terra Condor exclaimed while cawing.
.
.
"He's gonna do what…?!" Juvia shook her head, focusing on her battle with Brachio. The faster she beat him, the faster she would be able to reach the top.
"Heh, it's about time. Now I can stop playing around with you!" Brachio grinned, bringing up his front two fins. "Big Wave!" A large tidal wave rose up from the water and raced towards Juvia.
"Juvia doesn't have time for this!" Juvia glared up at the wave as it came towards her.
.
.
"Tch!" Gajeel jumped back, avoiding a powerful punch from Augria, sliding back across the ground. "You people are crazy!"
"It's all a part of the process, Black Steel…" Augria replied as he shook his hand.
.
.
"No…." Cynthia's eye's widened immensely at Hyde's suggestion. "He can't do that to her!" Cynthia ran forward, attempting to pass Gareth once more, but once again, the magic seal appeared before she got close, blasting her away with a powerful beam of raw magic, sending her skidding across the ground. "Grah! Get out of my way right now!"
"No can do…" Gareth replied.
"Then again…I suppose that wouldn't work…" Hyde's voice continued. The fact that there was more to say put a sinking feeling in Fairy Tail's stomach. "You don't have a BOMB of a lacrima inside you."
.
.
"Cynthia's a bomb?!" Happy's reaction went way over the top as he flailed around.
"He's bluffing…!" Gray shouted while clenching his fist. "If that was true she would've gone off already!"
"He can't do that to Wendy…and he can't do that to Cynthia!" Carla shouted, looking towards the door before them. "We have to do something!"
"You're lying!" Wendy shouted, obviously denying Hyde's claim.
"Am I?" Hyde replied. "You see…the bomb function was working just fine until your battle in this very room a year ago. Since then, it's gone haywire. Who knows when it'll go off? If she pushes herself too hard, the results could be…"
"Shut up…!" Wendy screamed, but after that, the transmission stopped.
.
.
"T-That can't be true…" Erza grunted as she slowly attempted to bring herself up to her feet. "She's not a bomb…"
"You pick some interesting friends…" Knightwalker said as she too began to try and rise to the ground, refusing to let Scarlet get up first.
.
.
Cynthia's hair created a shadow over her eyes while Gareth began laughing. "The truth comes out! You're a walking time bomb! How does that make you feel!?"
"…He's right." Cynthia mumbled. "I am a bomb…"
"…Huh?" Gareth blinked a few times at how Cynthia was seemingly accepting this.
In all actuality, Cynthia wasn't even thinking about herself at the moment; she was thinking about how she was going to destroy Hyde once she got there. "And I'm about to explode my anger all over him SO GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!" Cynthia charged forward with extremely darkened red flames. A magic seal appeared before her once again, unleashing the raw beam of magic, but she powered right through it and slammed her fist into Gareth's face, an instant KO. Gareth flew through the wall and broke into many pieces. Cynthia rushed into the elevator as it now took her up.
.
.
"Well, what will do, Wendy Marvell?" Hyde asked while toying with the device. "You know you can't beat me, and stalling won't help you in the end. It's you or Cynthia, take your pick."
{Flashback: Flames of Friendship, just after Cynthia's Return}
It had been a few days since Cynthia was revived. Things in Fiore and Fairy Tail returned to normal. It was night time now, and Wendy and Cynthia had been sharing the same bed since Cynthia's return. Wendy wanted to make sure that it wasn't all a long dream and that Cynthia was there to stay. "Cynthia…." Wendy whispered.
"Yeah…?" Cynthia returned the whisper, looking over at Wendy.
"I know I keep asking this…but…is it really you…?" Asked the bluenette.
"Yes…it's really me…" Cynthia gave a slight nod. "I'm so sorry for putting you through all of that…I can't apologize enough…"
Wendy shook her head, bringing Cynthia in for a tight hug. "I promise I won't let anything like that happen to you again…I swear it…"
"Wendy…" Cynthia began to up a bit before returning the embrace. "And I…I promise not to leave you like that ever again…"
{End Flashback)
"I…." Wendy looked down at the ground, the flames and wind around her body fading.
"…Excellent…"
.
.
Lucy was on the losing end of her bout with Hollow; she was unable to get enough time to call out a spirit with Hollow's constant close range attacks, so she had to match him, though that was not the easiest thing in the world for her to do. Lucy attempted to counter Hollow's strikes with her own punches, but every time it seemed as though she would've hit, Hollow moved out of the way with the afterimages behind him. "Ugh…!"
"You're too frail," Hollow said as he aimed a palm strike at Lucy's back, causing her to stumble forward, but after that, he was already in front of her, landing yet another palm strike on her chest, causing her to step back. Hollow had Lucy trapped in a cycle, circling around her while striking her. "Too slow, and more importantly…" A final palm strike with the power of Regulas struck Lucy's stomach, sending her rolling across the ground. "Too weak."
Lucy rolled across the ground for about a minute before stopping, groaning as she felt the pain stinging all over her body. "Ngh…." Lucy placed her hands on the ground, using them to push herself up. "I won't…lose here…" Lucy said while pushing herself back up to her feet, wobbling slightly. She went for a key, but was too slow in the matter as Hollow appeared in front of her with his bazooka pointed from his chest, the purple lightning around the tip already charged.
"Thunder Bazooka!" Lucy's eyes widened immensely; the only thing she was able to get out as a loud gasp before the Thunder Bazooka was fired and a large explosion of purple lightning occurred, making itself known even outside the tower.
.
.
"What the hell was that?" Luke looked up at the tower, noticing the dispersing lightning explosion around the center of it.
"It was probably nothing, come on, let's keep focus!" Selene shouted over at Luke.
"Oh, right…these copy bastards…" Luke scoffed before turning around. "There is no end to these things…"
Tia crossed her arms, watching as Ace's group took on the seemingly endless swarm of lacrima. "The magic that we stole from the three guilds…and my recordings of the battles in the Black Phoenix Tournament…this allowed Spade to create lacrima with their own magic…it won't be long now before they fall to their own magic…"
.
.
When the smoke from the explosion cleared, there was a path carved in the floor from the distance Lucy slid back across the ground. At the end of the small trail, there laid Lucy on her back, eyes closed, her body covered in blood and bruises, and her clothing was mostly ripped apart from the blast. The worst part about this? She wasn't moving, not even breathing.
.
.
"Oh…" Hyde looked over at the lacrima screen just as he shoved Wendy into a transparent sphere, shutting the door after.
After being shoved, Wendy looked at the lacrima screen with wide eyes, utterly shocked at the sight she saw. "L-Lucy-san…!"
"Oh, I think you have bigger things to worry about right now…" Hyde said as he walked over to a machine. "But first…" He snapped his fingers, generating the lacrima screen of Lucy's unmoving body to the other members of Fairy Tail who were fighting.
.
.
Lisanna and Mirajane just took a fly back to gain some distance between themselves and Terra Condor. They were planning out their next attack when the lacrima screen of Lucy appeared in front of them causing them to stop in their tracks. "L-Lucy!" Lisanna shrieked from the sight.
"W-What happened?!" Mirajane asked with widened eyes.
"Flying Impact!" Terra Condor exclaimed, slamming both of his wings into the Strauss sisters, sending them spiraling away after impact.
.
.
"What…?" Gajeel grit his teeth as he glanced at Lucy's state before jumping off to the side once again, avoiding a powerful punch from Augria.
"Oh my, it seems as though you've lost a member…what a shame…" Augria said with a slight smirk.
.
.
"Love rival…!" Juvia's mind was taken off her battle for split second as she glanced at Lucy's condition. Though, it didn't see as though Brachio would take advantage of this.
"Heh…" The sea creature smirked as it glanced at the screen. "Hollow is as ruthless as ever…"
.
.
Cynthia ran out the elevator, meeting up with Gray and the exceeds. "Guys…!"
"What the hell happened to you…!?" Gray asked before shaking his head. "Never mind…look…"
"Huh…?" Cynthia turned, eyes widening immensely. "L-LUCY!"
"Get up…." Happy whimpered.
.
.
Natsu stopped moving once Apollo did. The look on Apollo's face told all. The screen was behind Natsu, so he turned around slowly. "…!"
"Oh my, oh my…" Apollo chuckled a bit, his hand moving through his hair. "Looks like your little celestial friend isn't strong enough…"
Natsu clenched his fist, lowering his head so his pink hair created a shadow over his eyes. "Shut up."
"Huh…?" Apollo raised a brow at Natsu's shift in attitude. "No matter, Fire Dragon…she was just the first to go…" Before Apollo could continue, Natsu slammed a heated fist into the Sun God's face, sending Apollo staggering back a step or two. "Insolent!"
"Lucy's not weak!" Natsu shouted. "So what she may be down…I know she'll get right back up again."
"You really think that?" Apollo asked while rubbing the spot Natsu struck him in.
"I don't think…" Natsu stated, a brief pause occurring before he realized that he was going to continue. "I know."
.
.
Lucy felt herself fading in and out of consciousness, but her body wouldn't response to any movements she attempted to make. Instead, her mind and consciousness began to wander away from her body and travel elsewhere, a true sign that she was just barely clinging onto the life she and her friends held so dearly. Though Lucy could mainly see darkness, she could see and hear the figures of her friends fighting on valiantly. "I'm bringing them down again, aren't I…?" Her mind then drifted to her recent battles over the past year, almost none of them won on her own, and the ones she did fight on her own she ended up losing; she had done nothing but be a liability for Fairy Tail. At least that's how she felt.
"Iron Dragon's Lance: Demon Logs!"
"Water Cane!"
"Evil Push!"
"Everyone's fighting on…and here I am…." Lucy sighed to herself as she felt her consciousness slipping away slowly, things getting darker and darker.
"Lucy's not weak!"
"What…?" Lucy barely caught the last statement, forcing herself to hang on just to listen.
"Lucy's one of the strongest mages I know! There's no way she'll stay down!"
"Their voices…They still believe in me…?" Lucy's grip on her life seemed to get much stronger at the moment, with the help of her friend's voices. "They still believe in me….I have to give them a reason why they should keep believing in me…!"
.
.
Holllow turned around, his back facing the downed Lucy. He began to walk off when he noticed something; a rise in magical energy. "Hm….?" Hollow turned around, looking towards Lucy, who was still unconscious. Hollow shook his head, refusing to believe it. "No, that's impossible. She can't possibly be alive after such a hit like that."
Lucy's hand twitched slowly at first, soon a faint groan escaping her lips. "Ngh….."
"What…?" Hollow looked on as Lucy regained consciousness. "No….This is impossible."
Lucy clenched her hand into a tight fist, though it was extremely shaky. It was a slow process, but she began to make her way back up to her feet, hunched over, panting heavily with blurry vision. "I told you….on my pride….as a Fairy Tail wizard…..I would beat you…"
.
.
"She's back up!" Happy jumped for joy.
"I knew she wouldn't stay down…" Gray let out a sigh of relief before shouting. "Now kick his ass!"
.
.
"Hm…?" Hyde blinked a few times as Lucy stood back up. "She got back up…?"
.
.
"That's impossible…" Hollow said while keeping his monotonous tone. "How are you still standing? That attack should've ended you right there?"
Lucy reached down to her key ring, pulling out yet another golden key. She extended her arm, allowing the tip of the key to shine brightly. "Gate of the Twins, I open thee…Gemini!" With a bell chime and a puff of smoke, Gemini appeared, but not as the twins, instead it was Lucy in a towel (since they hadn't copied anyone else since the GMG onward). Gemini Lucy extended her arm out, her hand meeting with Lucy's. It was then they began to chant in unison:
"Survey the Heavens, open the heavens…
All the stars, far and wide, show me thy appearance…
With such shine.
Oh Tetrabiblos…
I am the ruler of the stars…
Aspect become complete…
Open thy malevolent gate.
Oh 88 stars of the heaven…
Shine!
Urano Metria!"
As the Lucy's began the incantation, the area changed around them and Hollow, star-like lights appearing around the magical being, double the size and number of what they would normally be. This was shortly followed by a pitch black blanket resembling the night sky. Hollow shook his head frantically, unable to believe what was happening. "No…No…" He could do nothing else; the stars exploded at the same time, enveloping the area in a bright blinding light.
It took a while for the light to completely fade, but when it did, Lucy was seen panting heavily, struggling to stand still. But it wasn't over yet, Hollow's core was floating in the same place he was before the attack hit. "T-The core…!" Lucy struggled to say she knew if Hollow recovered it really would be the end for her; and right now, Hollow's core was staring to gather the magic left behind from Lucy's attack, reconstructing Hollow slowly.
"Gate of the Archer, I open thee!" Gemini Lucy exclaimed while pulling out a golden key, pointing it forward. "Sagittarius!" In a puff of smoke, the cosplaying horse appeared in front of both Lucy's, giving a salute.
"How my I be of assistance, moshi-moshi?" Sagittarius asked.
"Shoot that core!" Gemini Lucy exclaimed.
"As you wish, moshi-moshi!" Sagittarius nodded, quick drawing his bow with an arrow already at the ready. He released the arrow, sending it hurtling towards Hollow's stationary core. A direct hit, the arrow pierced right through the core, a loud screech sound indicating it was a fatal blow for the core. The core fell and hit the ground, sparking violently for a few seconds before shorting out, exploding on itself. Hollow was defeated.
.
.
"She won!" Cynthia jumped up and down for joy, despite her heavily inured body, she paid it no mind. This was more important.
Carla turned to look at the door, and sure enough, it was true. Lucy had won, indicated by the small explosion of Hollow's lock on the door. "Three down…"
"And only four left!" Gray exclaimed. "Alright you guys, you know what to do!"
.
.
"H-Hollow was defeated!?" Terra Condor gawked at the sight of Lucy defeating Hollow, unable to form another sentence due to how shocked he was.
"Now!" Mirajane shouted.
After Mirajane shouted, Lisanna flew forward at an amazing speed, chaining her takeover to change into her large rabbit form, using her weight and her momentum to slam into Terra Condor, sending the bird into the nearest wall. Lisanna hopped back, changing back into her Half Bird takeover with a grin. "Lucy's done her part, now we have to do ours!"
"J-Just because Hollow was beaten doesn't mean you'll defeat me!" Terra Condor yelled while prying himself from the wall.
"Answer me this…" Mirajane started as she held a palm open, a purple aura surrounding her hand, a devilish smirk appearing on her face. "What's a simple overgrown bird to a demon…?"
.
.
"Now Juvia doesn't need to worry!" Juvia exclaimed with a grin before turning her attention to the shocked Brachio Wave.
"I-Impossible!" Brachio then turned to look at Juvia with the same shocked expression on his face. "Hollow should've been unbeatable! Especially to someone like her! Who is she? Who the hell are you guys?!"
"We are Fairy Tail wizards!" Juvia exclaimed as she raised a hand up, generating two large columns of water above her head, glaring towards the sea beast now. "If anyone is going under, it will be you and this ridiculous plan!"
.
.
"Giheh…well I'll be…" Gajeel smirked at Lucy's victory, turning to General Aurgria, who seemed to be unfazed by Hollow's defeat, but he did remain silent. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Gajeel then threw his arm forward, morphing it into an iron pole midway. The pole raced towards the General's face. "Iron Dragon's Club!"
"What?!" Augria snapped out of his little trance, only to receive an iron club to the face, sending him rolling backwards. "You little swine!"
"Just returning the favor form earlier…" Gajeel said as his grin widened. "C'mon, I hope you're still warming up, otherwise this won't be a very long battle, "Unstoppable Charge!" " Gajeel said with a taunting tone of voice.
The General's chariot began to rev up, mainly because he was enraged that Gajeel had the audacity to speak to him that way. "How dare you! I'll flatten you!"
.
.
Gemini and Sagittarius' gates closed, leaving a lone Lucy who could barely stand. She was smiling though, feeling that she gave her guild mates a reason to continue believing in her. "H-Heh…" she took a step forward, but she began to lose consciousness midway through and fell forward, her smile never leaving her face. "It's your turn, Natsu…." As her hand fell forward, she passed the "baton" over to her partner while she fell face first on the ground, unconscious. Luckily for her, an elevator appeared around her person and took her to the top with Cynthia and the others.
.
.
Natsu didn't even turn around to face the screen. He knew. The look on Apollo's face said it all. "Heh…" Natsu smirked ear to ear, sliding into an offensive stance. "I told ya…Lucy wasn't gonna do down."
"T-Tch!" Apollo shook his head. "She just got lucky, that's all!"
Natsu merely shook his head while his flames covered his body. "Stop makin' up excuses. But that's beside the point now. It's just you and me now, Sun God."
"You really think you'll stand a chance against me? I've just been warming up!" Apollo exclaimed, sliding into an offensive stance of his own. "You're no match for the TRUE power of the sun!"
"We'll find out about that, won't we?" Natsu replied before planting his foot in the ground, anc charged forward.
