Teen Titans Fanfiction Mistake

Summary: Everyone Makes Mistakes. Best part is that you learn something or rather then worst part is that you suffer horribly. Raven makes a mistake and it goes horrible. Find out in this fanfiction

Wake up Raven. Slade said to Raven, who was lying unconscious in her bed. Raven became alert as she regained consciousness, she was shocked and wondering how in the world Slade managed to get into her room or even the tower. She opened her eyes and realised it wasn't a dream or a nightmare. It was real. Suddenly something flashed in her mind and she remembered everything.

Earlier that day:

Raven was sitting in the common room reading a Book as usual. Thinking about the stuff she was reading, she remembered how good Life had become ever since Trigon was defeated 2 years ago. A smile formed on her face as she remembered the good moments after Trigon was defeated. Everything one could ask for was now in her life. She had freedom, her whole life ahead of her and best of everything, she had her friends. They were always there to help her whenever required. She was powerful. Stronger than before. She never had any questions about what could go wrong. It made sense that nothing would go wrong, or so she thought. Everything was great but she had no Idea that one simple mistake was going to ruin her Life this night. Everything she cherished would be taken away, including the thing that once taken away cannot be returned.

Hey Raven I wanted to ask you about something. Said Robin. Yes ? What is it Robin? Asking Raven, putting her book down. Raven I am going to get some equipment for my bike. Cyborg is doing the same for the T car. Beast Boy is gone for something he said he had to do which is personal and Starfire went shopping. So it's just you, so are you sure you are ok by yourself? Off course said raven in her usual tone. You know it's ok if you come with me, you don't need to be alone Robin Said which sounded like a recommendation. I'll be alright by my self. If something goes wrong I contact everyone using the communicator Raven replied trying to convince Robin that there is nothing to worry about. Actually I think it will be rather safe if you come said Robin. I get a bad feel about this actually.

Bad feeling ? Don't you trust me with my safety ? I can take care of myself so don't worry, if something happens I will let you know said Raven in a calm and confident tone. Alright, just be careful. Also for safety reasons I am going to initiate lockdown so nothing alive could get in and out. Sure. See you within a few hours said Raven. She was confident when it came to self defence. It was natural considering her victory over Trigon. She was aware of her capacity and fighting potential but what she wasn't aware of was that what she just did as a seemingly normal refusal was not a mistake, but a big mistake.

Present situation:

Confidence does turn to overconfidence in order to get the better of you, doesn't it said Slade in his evil voice.

You made a mistake by coming here said Raven. Raven tried to get up but was shocked to find herself restrained to her bed. Her both hands handcuffed to the bed. Same with her legs. Actually you made a big mistake being overconfident said Slade who now sounded like he had plans for Raven. But the tower is in lockdown mode so how could you possibly ?...

I managed to bypass the security. The reason is not important. But what I am going to do to you is. I was certain that you would become unconscious because of the sleeping gas from the bomb I threw in your room.

Raven realised that she was in Danger. Her focus was supposed to be on how to defend herself but she was at a loss to know that she couldn't.
