"You need WHAT?!" Bowie asked incredulously.
"Relationship advice or whatever." MK said angrily as she paced around the room. They were currently in Bowie's hotel room at Playa De Losers and MK was trying to get advice for her relationship woes. In fact, she was trying so hard, she pretty much snuck in the room to get Bowie alone. Charming, right?
"I think it's pretty obvious I have a thing for Julia." MK admitted solemnly as a blush graced her cheeks.
"So what's the problem?" Bowie raised an eyebrow curiously.
"It turns out Julia has been getting all buddy buddy with Wayne recently." MK grumbled before explaining, "You watched today's episode, she wore a hockey outfit to try and get close with him and Wayne even made some comment about them getting married for goodness sake! I think they might have feelings for each other. You don't just wear someone's clothes for the sake of an alliance and make that comment out of nowhere."
"MK, she literally hooked him three times in today's challenge. I don't think that means anything." Bowie rolled his eyes.
"Julia's not the most affectionate girl on the planet, Bowie. Of course she's gonna backstab him for her benefit and I've noticed she seems to tolerate him more than Priya and Caleb." MK said nervously.
Bowie raised an eyebrow. This seemed really serious to MK, and she clearly wasn't gonna get anywhere if Bowie didn't figure out what her problem was.
"Okay girl, what's going on with you? You're not normally this paranoid." Bowie asked in an uncharacteristically soft voice.
"What do you mean? I'm the same old MK I've always been." MK scoffed, clearly in denial but Bowie wasn't about to give up on this.
"The fact that you even came to me in the first place for advice raises some questions." Bowie explained, "You normally don't need to rely on anyone, well… except for Julia of course."
MK smiled and blushed when Bowie mentioned Julia before shaking it off and sighed, he had a good point there, didn't he?
"Fine. I'm scared that me and Julia will fall apart." MK groaned in annoyance.
"What are you talking about?" Bowie raised an eyebrow.
"Me and Julia might be tight and all but last season we weren't this friendly. We were literally enemies, and even this season we backstabbed each other for our own benefits. I'm just worried that Julia won't want me because she can't trust me and will want someone who she can trust." MK vented before crossing her arms in embarrassment, "It's stupid."
"You're right. It is stupid." Bowie smirked which made MK widen her eyes before Bowie chuckled, "What? You think I'm gonna sugarcoat it? You're worrying over nothing. Those aren't even Wayne's clothes she was using, those were Raj's. He left his hoodie back in the island. As for her not trusting you, you were both competing in a reality show for a million dollar competition, obviously you're bound to double cross each other but out of all the people in this cast I've never seen Julia so happy then when she was with you."
"Wow… that actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it." MK rubbed the back of her head sheepishly.
"I know, I'm the one who said it." Bowie scoffed with a lighthearted smile, "Trust me, Julia has no feelings for Wayne. I'm pretty sure the mere idea of being with him makes her sick."
"Hahaha, true." MK laughed before sighing in relief, "Thanks Bowie. I don't say this a lot but I did need help."
"You're welcome. I'm surprised you wanted my help in the first place." Bowie admitted.
"Well it was either ask you for help or ask Ripper and I do not want to know the one hundred horrifying ways of how to make out with your girlfriend. That is just sick." MK explained before they both shuddered in disgust. Absolutely no one should have to be forced to witness whatever those two do in their free time.
That was then, this was now. And now, MK just witnessed Julia lose her hair and the million dollars to Wayne and now she even has a mullet. While everyone was celebrating Wayne's win, Julia was sitting quietly at the back of the campfire with tears in her eyes.
It broke MK's heart. She had to do something about this.
MK went to sit next to Julia, who glared in her direction.
"If you're here to make fun of my hair then beat it." Julia yelled before sniffling.
"Look, I know I didn't react well to your new hairdo and… I'm sorry about that." MK struggled to apologize.
"It's fine. I understand it's tough for you to apologize." Julia gave a smile but they both knew it didn't hold any true happiness.
"Look, don't worry about what those guys think. You're beautiful on the inside." MK said happily.
"MK, that's so cliche. We both know that's not true." Julia rolled her eyes.
"Oh I know. You're cold, vicious, and evil. That's why I love you." MK smirked which caused Julia to blush.
"Y-You love me…" Julia asked hesitantly.
"Did I stutter?" Now it was MK's turn to roll her eyes, although she was more playful than annoyed.
"W-Well… I guess if you love me, then I guess I can give you the honor of dating me… because you're the only one I can stand to be within two feet of." Julia stammered nervously.
"Just kiss me already." MK playfully commanded but Julia picked up her newfound girlfriend and kissed her passionately. MK's eyes bulged for a moment before closing them and leaning into the kiss.
Little did either of them know, Bowie was watching with a fond smile. He found both Julia and MK cretins but they were cretins that deserved each other.
Author's Note: I've recently gotten hooked on MKulia and I had to write for it. Hope you enjoyed it.
