A/N: This is my seventh fanfiction story and my first ever Zootopia fic. Zootopia is one the best Disney movie that I ever watched (probably until now), the story was amazing, the humor was satisfying, and the duo between Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps was just perfect. I just can't wait to see the sequel in the theaters!! For my old readers, as you know I love to write a fanfic about the series, movie, or games that I liked (Zootopia is one of them), but always got a writters block everytime I want to write this movie fanfic. Recently I've just played Burnout Series on PCSX2 for nostalgic time and suddenly I've got an inspiration to write this fanfic. So i decided the story it's about undercover job to investigating an illegal street racing (with Burnout Video Game style) that cause Zootopia into chaos and can harm the citizen. I hope you guys enjoy this story and since this is my first Zootopia fanfic, I would happily accept any review and criticism but most importantly, NO FLAMES, please. Cheers

S TORY START
[BGM: Guns N' Roses – Paradise City]
It was a beautiful dusk at Zootopia, the citizen are on their way home after hours working at the office. It is the place where anyone can be anything whether he/she was a prey or predator. They have a same chance to become a better person and pursue their dream job. Even this was a very peacefull place, there was recent terror in the cities where predator suddenly became savage and missing in mysterious ways. Thanks to ZPD Officer Judy Hopps and her friend Nick Wilde, they managed to solve the case by discover the truth about where the predator gone missing how they become savage. After solving the case, Nick Wilde officially became the first fox ZPD officer and Judy's partner in law.
Judy was on her daily patrol on her cruiser, she patrolling near the downtown due the high traffic on rush hour, it was a tough job but she managed to control the traffic. It was her dream job since she was just a little bunny, at first, her parents doesn't agree her to become a police officer because all of her family are carrot farmers and no bunny has ever to become a cop as their dream job. But she convience her parents that she can became a police and her dream are coming true, she managed to crack one of the biggest criminal case in the Zootopia where no one else could with a help from a stranger fox that have criminal records. This also convience the Chief of ZPD, Chief Bogo that she was not a useless bunny in the force that only do parking duty.
After an hour patrolling the traffic, Judy decided to take a brake for while by doing a quick stop at doughnut shop not to far from downtown to by some grub and cup of Coffee. She ordered a carrot cake doughnut and cup of double shot espresso then bring back to her cruiser and enjoyed her brake time. After finished her doughnut and coffee, she suddenly got call from someone, it was her partner Nick.
[BGM End]
"Hey Sly fox, what's up?" Judy greeting her partner from her phone via video call with a smile.
"Hey hey Carrots, just checking how you're doing" Nick ansewered Judy from his phone as well. "By the way, do I look cool?" Nick continued by showing Judy he wearing his sunglass while patrolling with a grin on his face.
"Hahaha, you still look like sly fox Nick." Judy said with chuckle.
"And you still like a dumb bunny for me." Nick replied
"Ah come on Nick!" Judy replied with annoyed face but still have a little smile on her face. "Anyway how's ZPD eh? It's been a week since you join the force" Continue Judy
"Hah! it's wonderful Carrots!" Nick Replied with exicited face "I never thought be a cop was an easy task! It was a coincident that Chief Boggo place me on traffic control, so I can make sure the citizen never late to go to work or go home! Today I was assign at the train station and MAAANN!! The traffic here was SUCKED!!" Nick showed Judy the traffic by his phone to her to see that many vehicle are stucked in red light as well in the front of the train station.
"I thought you love your work as traffic controller" Judy replied with a chuckle.
"No seriously Carrots!! I love my work!! But I never thought that this day was very busy like this, not to mention where I was been placed." Nick Clarified.
"Chill out Nick, Zootopia became more famous since we manage to solve the Night Howler case and discover the scandal between Mayor Lionheart and Bellwether. Many predator and pray are coming here with a curious how a big city like this, with many district, and many kinds of animal can live together in harmony and peace in this diversity." Judy explained.
"Yeah whatever you say Carrots." Nick replied with a flat face. "Anyway, I got duty calls, see you on the HQ then."
"Okay Nick, I better continue my patrol too, bye bye!" Then they both hung up their phone.
Judy immidietly start her cruiser on and heading towards the red light. When the red light turns green, Judy move her cruiser forward when suddenly….
"SHOOOT!!!" Judy suddenly step on the brake so hard that make her head hit the steering wheel. She almost crash with two mysterious racing cars that suddenly appear in front of her and break throught the red light. Judy cannot let this thing happen, there will be a casualty if this two racers are not apprehended.
"Not on my watch!" Judy turn on her cruiser's siren, step on the gas pedal, and immidietly chase the two race cars who heading towards east.
[BGM: Letter Kills – Radio Up]
"Dispatch, this is Officer Hopps, we got 10-94 situation here!! Suspects are heading towards east to the downtown, one is driving red Furrari 360, the other one is white Bosche 911 Coupe, I'm in pursuit! Repeat I'm in pursuit" Judy Hopps said with her radio.
"Copy that Officer Hopps." Said one of the officer who respond her call. "We're gonna set up perimeter within 2 miles from the downtown."
"Well better hurry up!!" Judy scream at the radio while keep an eye on the race cars from her cruiser. Not for long Judy got a call from her phone.
"WHAAAT?!" Judy ansewered the phone while yelling due the condition.
"Carrots, I don't know what's going on but all the officers right here start clearing the area and the vehicles near downtown and the train station, they also start to set up barricade too. It's been a chaos in here!! What is going on CARROTS?!" Nick said with panicked voice.
"Nick, listen to me! There are two racing car heading towards downtown at high speed and now I'm in pursuit!!" Judy replied. "Make sure no civilian in that area! This racers can cause any damage and casul…………OH SHOOOT!!!" Suddenly, Judy saw the two racers are bumping at each others for several times until the red Furrari bumped the white Bosche into a hot dog stand and causing it to fly towards Judy's cruiser. She immidietly bang her steering wheel hard to the right and left to avoid it but failed, it cause her right wind shield broke. This cause Judy pressing the brake so hard that makes her cruiser stop in the track. Judy immidietly take deep breath for a while from what happen to her earlier.
[BGM Stop]
"Carrots!! CARROTS!!" Are you okay?!" Suddenly a voice coming her phone, it was Nick, Panicking for what happen to her.
Judy was unable to ansewerd Nick's phone for a while due to her panic, then she grab her phone and start to talk.
"NICK!!" Judy scream
"Oh Carrots, I thought something bad is happened to you" Nick relieved "What was that sound earlier? And why you do say shoot?"
"NICK! I ALMOST GOT KILLED!!"
"WHAAAAATT?!" Nick was also shock for hearing what Judy Said. "What happened?!"
"I was chasing them and they suddenly bumped each other and crash on a hot dog stand and sending it fly towards my wind shield, thank god it hit the right side, not mine." Judy Said
"WHAT KIND OF RACE IS THAT?!" Nick was supprised hearing Judy's word, this is not just an ordinary race, this was an illegal dangerous street racing that can cause Zootopia into chaos. "Alright I'll help you out, meet me at the train station, we're gonna ambush this racers!!"
"Got it Nick!! I'll see you there." Judy hung up the phone, take a deep breath once more then she turn on her siren, press her foot on the gas pedal and the pursuit continues.
[BGM Continue]
Not for long, she able to catch on both of the racers that nearly reach downtown. Judy press her foot on the pedals deeper to get more speed, she able to reach the white Bosche on her right side. She immidietly put on speakers from her cruiser.
" This is Zootopia Police Department, pull over your vehicle right now!!" Judy said from her cruiser's speaker.
Instead pulling over, the white Bosche suddenly slam Judy's cruiser that cause her right lamp brakes into shatter.
"DAMMIT!!" Judy cursed herself while try to stablelized her cruiser.
The white Bosche ram her again hard, this time it cause her right door take pretty heavy damage and the window to her right start to crack.
"YOU GOTTA BE SHITTING ME!" Judy cursed herself more rude this time due the condition.
The white Bosche hit Judy's cruiser once again and this time her right window brakes into shatters. Judy is trying her best to maintain her cruiser from getting crush by this brutal racer.
The white Bosche are able escape from Judy's grip and now little bit far from her cruiser. Judy know that she cannot stop this racers with ordinary way like any bad guys that she already caught before, so she must stop them in the way that she never tried before.
"Hope this works." Judy hoping while she try to catch the white Bosche once again.
After she managed to get close to the white Bosche, with a deep breath, Judy slamp her foot on pedals so hard that make her cruiser reach 100 km per hour, she able to slamp the back of white Bosche, makes the car suddenly in unstable condition then all of sudden…….
"WHOOAAAHH!!! Judy slamp her foot on the brake just in time when the white Bosche start rolling up site down in front of her for few times then crash into the groceries store, make the car into fully stop.
[BGM End]
Judy was relieved after she able to put one racer down from his/her career, but she do not have time to celebrate, she need to stop the red Furrari before causing more destruction. Judy Immidietly speed up her cruiser and heading towards Downtown. Meanwhile, Nick who's already at the downtown's barricade are standing by with his gun along with the other officers. Not for long, all the coms of every officers including Nick received a message.
"Be advise, a red Furrari 360 is coming your way, all units in downtown, standby."
With hearing that, all of the officers and Nick are ready to put down this racer once and for all. Then, a red Furarri start to be seeing from the distance, the car started to get closer and closer to the blockade. That's the sign to attack.
"FIRE!!" One of the officer shout.
All of the officer are firing their guns towards the red Furrari, the car is trying to avoid the rain of bullets, the wind shield started to crack and the cars now fil with amount of bullet holes. But the Furrari managed to smash the blockade by slamming one of the ZPD cruiser, that's when Nick's insting got to work. With a deep breath, Nick shoot his gun towards the Furarri tires. It hit the right front and back tires, causing the car to the unstable state then hit one of the civilian vehicles parked nearby. It sends the red Furarri fly for few meter in the air due to the high speed then slamming the ground so hard and rolled over and over and over and over. Nick was pleased for a while for able to put an end to the Furarri, but the trouble is not over yet. The red Furarri is still rolling up side down and heading towards……….
"OH NOOOOOOO!!!" Nick suddenly realized that the car is heading towards a dalmatian puppy who just stand with scared face and nowhere else to go.
"Mother!! Mother where are you?!" The dalmatian scream with fear.
"I'M COMING KID!!" Nick immidietly run towards the dalmatian to save him from the incoming vehicle. He tried to run as fast as he could but the speed of the rolling vehicle is faster than him. So he keep running and running to save the little pup.
"MOTHEEEERRR!!!" The dalmatian scream at the top at his lungs and start to cry so hard, knowing this the end of his life.
Just when the vehicle lands near him and about to slam the little pup, Nick managed to catch him just in time the Furrari slams the ground and put an end to the red car.
"Phew!! You're okay kid?" Nick said while checking the Dalmatian condition.
"I'm…..okay.. Thank you…officer." Said the pup while still crying.
"You're save now kid, everything is gonna be okay" Nick said while carrying and soothing the little pup.
Not for long, Judy arrived at the scene where the Furarri crashed. Nick could see that her cruiser was really in bad damage. Judy finally step out from her cruiser.
"Woah you look like shi…..like mess i mean." Nick said while correcting his words due to a little pup that he was carrying.
"NICK!!" Judy running towards the fox and hug him on the hips.
Nick knows that she almost lost her life for chasing this bad guys, without her, maybe he could rest this racers by his own. So he put down the little pup first then give a proper hug to his partner, judy return the hug as well.
"I'm so proud of you Carrots." Said Nick
"I'm so glad you're okay too" Judy replied. Then they broke their hug.
"Are you officer Hopps? Said the little pup
"Yes, and who are you kid?" Judy said with smile.
"My name is Marshall, I'm big fan of you Officer Hopps!!"
"Oh thank you Marshall, please, call me Judy."
"You're my inspiration and the reason i'm come here to Zootopia Officer Hopp… I mean…Judy" Marshall immidietly give her a hug.
Judy with happy a face return the hug for him. This maybe the best treatment after all the chase she's been throught tonight.
"Everyone told me that in Zootopia anyone could be anything, just like you Judy. You're the first bunny in the police force, that really inspired me!!" Said Marshall with joyed while still hugging her. "I came here because i wanna be a fire fighter!! When I grew up, I wanna help people and do good things for this city!!"
"It's awesome Marshall, all the things you must do now is always try to best you could do to become fire fighter. Remember, to try everything no matter how many times you failed." Judy said while still hugging him."
"Thank you for the advice Judy" Said Marhsall, then they broke their hug.
"Marhsall?! Marshall?!" Suddenly, a lady voice coming from their behind.
"MOTHER!!!" It was a female dalmatian who turns to be Marshall's mother who keep trying where her son gone.
"MARSHALL!!" Marhsall's mom running towards her son and give him a big hug.
"You found me mom!!" Said Marshall with a happy face on his mother hug.
"Oh Marshall, I thought I lost you."
Nick and Judy who saw this was very touched seeing them hug each other.
"Oh you must be Officer Hopps right? I'm Marlene, Marshall's mom." Marlene said to Judy after she broke hug with her son."
"Yeah, but just call me Judy miss, you're son have awesome dream."
"Thank you for saving my son, we were evacuating downtown when the ZPD told us to clear the area, that's when I got separated with Marshall. But thank goodness he's okay. Oh yeah, he make us came here because he is inspired by you, you're such an inspirational person Judy, Zootopia is lucky to have hero like you." Marlene said.
"Oh it's nothing." Judy said with smile and her face start to get blushed. "I just want to protect this city from the bad guys and i became a cop to make world a better place!"
"Of course you are!! Righ now will you excuse us, we need to get home, tomorrow was his first day in Elementary. He didn't want to miss that time." Marlene said to Judy and Nick.
"Alright, take care Marshall!! Hope we see each other again." Said judy while waving her hands.
"You're a brave kid buddy!!" Added Nick while waving his hands too.
"Bye Judy and Officer Wilde! You're both my hero!!" Said Marhsall while waving his hands walking away from them with his mom.
"Boy, I'm gonna missed that kid." Said Nick while wiping his tears that start drrping from his eyes
"Me too Nick, me too." Judy said with a happy face.
Their moments with Marshall makes them realize that they forget to investigate the red Furarri next to them. So they immidietly checking the wrecked vehicle, Judy open up the driver's door.
"ZPD, SHOW ME YOUR HANDS!!" Judy aim her gun towards the suspect and so does Nick.
From the looks of it, the suspect was a male tiger that already unconscious due to the crash. Judy was about to try check the tiger pulse when suddenly his hands grab on her hands. This makes Judy shocked and so does Nick.
"ZPD, PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE COULD SEE'M!!" Said Judy while still in shocked.
"Why……why did you do it?" Said the tiger in weak voice.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! You're under arrest for doing an illegal street racing, destroying public property, and risiking civilian lives!!" Judy said with a confused and angry tone.
"I almost……..win….why did you……stopped me." The tiger is trying tell something to Judy.
"HUH?! You're doing an illegal street racing, that was a serious crime!!"
"Malin is promising me a position in ZWC if I win this race, and you police stop…….me" The tiger said then suddenly fell unconscious again.
"HEY HEY HEY WHAT ARE TALKING ABOUT?!" Judy still confused what just the tiger said. She immidietly check his pulse, still active but weak.
"Medic!!! We need a medic here!!" Judy tell to the officers nearby to call paramedic immidietly.
Then the rest of ZPD officers are sweeping the scene for further investigation. Meanwhile Nick and Judy who still on the scene and stand near one of the ZPD cruiser is still thinking what just the Persian to them.
"Malin? Promosing a job? By a Race? ZWC?" Judy try to think what's going on while tapping her foot.
"ZWC as it the big four firm?" Nick try confirm Judy.
"Yeah, someone called Malin is promising a job or position at ZWC, one of the big four firm by winning an illegal brutal race that can cause city into destruction and risk civilian life? This case is complicated than we expected." Judy conclude about what's going on.
"Wow, I thought this just busting a criminal who drive their car dangerously." Nick also feel the same way.
"We need to investigated this case, we got to tell Chief Bogo about this." Judy Said.
"Right on your back Carrots." Said Nick.
"I think the hunt for this Malin guy is just begun."
