KS: Merry Christmas, one and all. I have returned to bring you the debut of what I believe is to be another entertaining fic. I finally worked up the determination do the prologue for this chapter. Now, this is my gift for all those who have followed me for so long. I present to you... the Devil May Cry x Good Luck Girl crossover that nobody asked for. Enjoy.

It was the dead of night. Nothing was heard other than the sounds of crickets chirping. Nobody in their right mind would dream of walking down the street unless they were feeling extra bold and/or incredibly stupid.

But for one quirky individual, they were all kinds of bold.

A girl walked through the forest, humming a small tune to herself. Her silver hair shined in the moonlight, along with her emerald eyes. She adjusted the collar on her bright orange jacket with purple dragon decals on the back. Her black denim pants and red sneakers were a comfortable fit, emphasizing her athletic figure. On the back of her jacket was the handle of a sword in a black leather sheath, and on her pant legs were two holstered pistols. Around her neck was a pair of gray headphones.

"Alright, this is the perfect spot to do some hunting," she said. "Now, all I gotta do is find the bastard, cut him up and have Suwano send the remains. Usual stuff, if I do say so myself."

She heard a light growl coming from behind. Letting out a smirk, she slowly turned around.

"Oh, you decided to show up after all," she said confidently. "Guess you've saved me the trouble of tracking you down."

Soon enough, a large group of wolf-like monsters emerged from the dark shadows of the forest, approaching the girl with a menacing gaze. They kept on growling, ready to tear the girl to shreds.

Despite this, the girl remained confident as she put on her headphones and took out a music player.

"Now, which is the best song to play when slaying a group of mobs," she wondered as she scrolled through her music library.

One of the monsters lunged at the girl, not wanting to wait any longer then it needed to. But just as it got within biting range, the girl kicked it away while keeping her eyes glued to her music player.

"Give me a second, will you? I need to find an awesome song to slay you guys to."

She continued searching while the monsters just stared at her in confusion.

"Aha! Here we go!"

She put on her headphones and began to play the song she chose.

("Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake)

She started tapping her foot to the sound of the music, as well as bobbing her head with a smile.

The wolves continue to glare at the girl, and slowly approached her, circling her.

(I got this feelin' inside my bones)

The girl began dancing, moving her body to the rhythm of the music without a care in the world.

(It goes electric, wavey when I turn it on)

The wolves continue circling the girl.

(All through my city, all through my home)

But she went on dancing without a care in the world.

(We're flyin' up, no ceilin', when we in our zone)

And as if to mock the wolves, she shot a wink at them.

(I got that sunshine in my pocket, got that good soul in my feet)

One of the wolves got impatient and lunged at the girl, only to be punched right in the snout and knocked away.

(I feel that hot blood in my body when it drops (Ooh))

The other wolves charged at the girl, but they were all knocked back by her fast strikes and kicks, all while still moving to the beat of the music.

(I can't take my eyes up off it, movin' so phenomenally)

More wolves began attacking the girl left and right, but she continued with beating them away without a care in the world.

(Room on lock, the way we rock it, so don't stop)

This didn't deter the other pack members as they rushed at the girl, but like before, they were all knocked away with very little effort.

(And under the lights when everything goes)

The girl's movements slowed down. She swayed body in calm manner, unaware that the remaining wolves glared her down.

(Nowhere to hide when I'm gettin' you close)

She continued dancing, shooting coy looks at the wolves.

(When we move, well, you already know)

The wolves growled lowly at her, ready to leap.

(So just imagine (Just imagine, just imagine))

As the girl turned her back, the wolves all leapt at her, intending to sink their fangs into her.

(Nothin' I can see but you when you dance, dance, dance)

Suddenly, the girl drew both her pistol and immediately shot the wolves in their heads, killing them instantly while dancing.

(A feelin' good, good, creepin' up on you so just dance, dance, dance, come on)

More wolves continued to attack her, but she continued with shooting them as she danced on.

(All those things I shouldn't do, but you dance, dance, dance)

The girl shot more wolves and danced with all of her heart.

(And ain't nobody leavin' soon, so keep dancin')

The violent dance went on as more wolves fell to the bullets.

(I can't stop the feelin')

The girl tossed her guns in the air, then killed more wolves with punches and kicks. And still managing to keep her rhythm.

(So just dance, dance, dance)

The girl danced/fought with boundless energy as the wolves continued to fall.

(I can't stop the feelin')

Punches and kicks made short work of the wolves, thinning the pack significantly.

(So just dance, dance, dance, come on)

She caught the guns before they fell to the ground and shot the two remaining wolves that leapt towards her in their heads, killing them instantly.

(End song)

She gave a wink at the horde of wolf carcasses.

"Next time, try to put up a fight, okay~?"

Ichiko Sakura

Granddaughter of the Dark Knight Sparda

Having completed the slaughter, Ichiko decided to go on her way, humming to herself.

"Alright, I've reached the location," she muttered as she walked into the deepest, darkest parts of the forest. "Now, where is the bastard?"

She heard a low growl that made her stop. This growl was not like the others. The hostility and killing intent was on full display for her to feel.

"Alright, why don't we get this over with?" Ichiko called out to whoever- or whatever- was spying on her.

A voice was heard from the bushes.

"To think you would finally show yourself, decendant of Sparda… I will take pleasure in ripping you to shreds."

Ichiko faked a yawn. "Couldn't you come up with a better threat than that?"

More growls were heard.

"You will pay for your disrespect, whelp. And you will do so with every drop of blood you have."

"Would it help that your dialogue is boring me to death?" Ichiko mocked.

The growls were soon replaced with a roar as a larger, more intimidating wolf appeared, baring all of its fangs at Ichiko while glaring at her with its crystal blue eyes.

"Are those your final words, girl?"

"Nope," Ichiko replied, gripping the hilt of her sword. "But luckily, I heard yours."

The wolf growled and lunged at Ichiko, opening its massive maw to bite her down. Sadly, she proved to be too quick as she jumped out of the way, unsheathing her sword.

"Eat this!"

She quickly decended towards the ground, her sword pointed downward at the large wolf. The blade plunged deep into its back, causing it to howl in agony.

"ARRRGGGHHHH! You little brat! You'll pay dearly for your-"

"Not interested," Ichiko replied, interrupting whatever tirade the monster made, performing an upward slash that caused blood to spray out. Unfortunately, some of it got on her clothes, which greatly annoyed her.

"Oh, now you're gonna get it," she said in a low tone with narrowed eyes.

Ichiko jumped off the wolf's back. Even though it was injured, the beast was still formidable. It swiped at Ichiko with its powerful claws, but she managed to dodge them. When that failed, it attempted to bite her once more, but as it opened its mouth towards her, Ichiko immediately put her sword between its teeth, preventing it from closing its mouth.

"When was the last time you saw a dentist?" she asked, pulling her pistols out from their holsters. "I think you're gonna need one."

She pulled the triggers and began shooting every tooth the wolf had in its mouth until all of them were completely broken. Then, she pulled her sword out from between the teeth, finishing it off by decapitating the monsterous lycanthrope, killing it once and for all.

"There we go. Now to bring the head back and get some coin outta this."

Ichiko picked up the head and carried it under her arm, unaware that she was being watched from elsewhere.

-In the Realm of Poverty Gods-

A dishelvled, ratty-looking goddess stared in absolutely frustration at what she watched on the screen. A girl just took down a large number of dire wolves and proceeded to lop off the head of their leader. As such, she uttered ten words in complete frustration.

"She's who I have to siphon fortune energy from?"
