A regal and a majestic black celestial feline with pure white angelic wings on her back watched over the planets in the multiverse as protecting the multiverse from harm and maintaining the planets stars and moons was her duty. She was known as the Guardian.
While browsing and watching the many human beings on Earth to protect them and admittingly also for fun as she found the lives of humans amusing, she looked down in California and was drawn to the purple aura of a special girl named Josephine. She may of been seemed like your average kind teenager girl but the cat Guardian knew she was a part of something much more, she could either save the universe or doom it to the Night, but the cat Guardian believed in her and purred in anticipation of what was to come.
Josephine Kitty Amethyst Rose or Josie to her family/VERY close friends, is a 13 year old girl that moved from New York to California. She lives with her mom Mandy and dad Bob and her two younger 11 year old sisters Sapphire and Savannah, who she loves very much as well as her pets. Her relatives send her lots of money and gifts for their special cousin/niece/granddaughter. She has beautiful amber heterochromatic eyes with big naturally long eyelashes, long natural dark hair that is died with purple tips with a ponytail in the back that reaches to her back and she tans easily in the sunshine golden. She is very kindhearted and sweet but a bit shy and sassy sometimes. Animals are drawn to her and even random wild animals nuzzle to her.
Animals love her but she has human friends too. Before she moved she had a blonde cat named Dawn that she had since she was 3 years old and three besties named Pamela (brunette with her hair in a bun) Mikayla (raven haired girl) and Sandra (blonde) who she knew since childhood kindergarten on the swings. They loved tag, hide and seek, teddy bears and dolls when they were 7 years old. Pam Mikki and Sandy are there nicknames Josie Pam Mikki and Sandy were at there last school in New York were fairly liked at elementary school and life was going well.
Three girls were currently in kindergarten, Anne Sasha and Marcy when their parents went on vacation to New York as New York City was so beautiful who could say no? and the three girls met Josie and her friends at a park they visited"Hi I'm Sasha and these are my friends Anne and Marcy!" and Josie said "Hiya I'm Josie and these are my friends Pamela Sandra and Mikayla! Hiya" and the little girls played together.
Sasha said "Lets go on the see-saw! I'll jump the fastest Josie!" Josie said "Wow that sounds like so much fun! YIpee!" Sandra said "I-i want a turn afterwards please! your so cool!" Sasha said "You both can go on the other end and I will jump jump jump super high!" And the girls shouted "YIPEE! Sasha is the coolest!"
Anne said "Momma allowed me to bring my kitty Domino with me!" Josie said "Awww shes so cute! I wuv her!" Pamela said "I want a turn pett-ting her" she whispered shyly. Anne said "No need to be shy, Domino is very sweet" and Domino nuzzled and purred happily on Pamelas cheeks. "I love you Domino I want my own kitty!" Anne said "You can borrow her if you want!"
Marcy said to Josie "Hello, I-im Marcy, I like drawing and watching fantasy cartoons! I drew this picture of my fav character" Josie said "I love to draw too! your drawings are so good!" and Mikayla said "When you're older, you should be a cartoon drawer whatever its called!" and Marcy said "Um, I think its called a cartoonist?" Mikayla said "Yeah thats the one!"
They would always hang out with eachother and have so much fun! But when the girls holiday ended they would have to go back home to LA and part ways. Josie and her friends in tears hugged Anne Marcy and Sasha and waved goodbye to the girls and said "I HOPE we meet again! See you!" Will they meet again?
Josies friends back at school,They all wore pink and purple together when they didnt have to wear their uniforms, and wear the same pastel clothes so they were known as the Pastel girls (Pink and Purple were there fav colors ever)and there friendship was perfect they never got into fights and if they did they would make up and have cookies ("I'm so sorry I was mean to you Sandy" said Josie "Will you forgive me if you have my cookies!" Sandra said "YAY JOSIE i forgive you! Lets hang out and play together again!" Pam said "I hate fights let forget that happened and play!" Mikayla said "Lets play tag and then play with the pink teddy bears!" Josie said "Hurray!" After that can we play Mintendo games and then watch cartoons YAY") and there life was going so well.
The other girls and boys were almost jealous of their friendships it was like nothing could either go wrong. (They said "I wish I had a friend group like them!" or "I wanna be Josie's friend!") Life as 7 years old was awesome and until they became 12 it would continue to stay awesome with such happy friendships.
All of a sudden the girls approaching 11 started puberty and their friendship started to become more complicated. During 9 - 10 their tastes started to change and they didn't play, they said they didn't want to act like children. "Josie you want to hang out? Okay...but girl We're not kids anymore I dont wanna play like a kid We're starting to become teenagers I'm too old for tag I want a boyfriend soon Im not a little girl anymore" Pamela said to Josie (even though Pam's mom would disagree and say "You're always gonna be my little girl Pam")and Josie lied and said "Yeah I'm too old for games too I got rid of my hairclips and such yeah like I said to mom i'm too old for such garbage"
Sandra said "Yeah I can't wait to become a teenager! Its gonna be soooo cool!" Mikayla said "Do you think my new lipgloss looks pretty! I don't want boys to think i'm too ugly to get a date? What will the cool girl Lucia think If I don't have a date?" Josie said "She'll think you're cool no matter what" and Mikayla said "Yeah I think she will" but Mikayla had doubt that she wasn't good enough to be cool and she felt sad, Lucia (blonde girl) didn't want to be her friend.
She started to stop thinking about Josie and started to focus more and more on Lucia. The girls started to hang out with different people with only Pamela still hanging out with Josie regularly, the others making excuses for why they couldn't come but Josie deep down knew why.
they thought she was too boring and not cool enough. I mean who could compare to LUCIA? The coolest girl in the school, with a swimming pool and cool pets and a cool older brother, even the teachers let her skip class or have bad grades and remark it so it was good grades, nobody else could get away with that, only LUCIA could. Josie's fears were coming true as the girls were starting to seperate and Josie while she had her her sisters it wasn't the same.
Pamela Mikayla and Sandra were like sisters to her from another mister so this was really hard on her. Even on social media they went dark and ghosted her. Josie cried in her bedroom and her mom comforted her and said "Oh my sweet baby I'm so sorry I didn't think this would happen. This isn't your fault my friends ghosted me too when I was 15, you'll make new friends eventually, just give it some time and new better people will come again. If not your family will always have your back"
She hoped they could make up but it seemed unlikely and if it couldn't get any worse her childhood pet cat passed away and she spent a week morning her pet. Josie cried "Everyone said being a teenager was going to be fun but everythings changing for the worse! Why even bother!" And Things were never the same again when on Pamela's birthday the girls reunited again giving Josie a glimmer of hope that the friendship might be repaired. "Hey Josie wanna come over to my house for our awesome sleepover its my birthday today and I'm sorry we haven't talked in a while!" a 11 year old Pam said to her bestie Josie and Josie said "DO I?! YES YES YES! Mom can I go to Pamelas house after school" Her mother Mandy said "Are you sure, you seemed to have moved on from her" but Josie insisted they were gonna make up and be friends again like always. After a good day at school the newely 11 year old girls met up for what was anticipated to be the sleepover of a lifetime.
Josie arrived at her moms house anticipating Pamela Sandra and Mikayla but Mikayla was missing, Sandra was no where to be seen and Pamela had a very solemn look on their now adolescent faces. Josephine said to Pam "Uh...happy birthday Pamela? Whats the matter and wheres Mikayla?" Pamela said "Um...Josie we need to talk" Josie gulped, when somebody said we need to talk it was NEVER about good news but inpending distater.
Pamela said "Mikayla...went missing...and me and Sandra are moving away anyway as her mom needed money so we're selling our childhood houses. Josephine I don't think we can be friends anymore...I'm sorry I don't hate you but we need to move on and find different people. Please leave me alone." Josie said "Mikayla went missing?" Pamela said "You seriously didn't know?" Josie said "Everyone said she went on holiday" Pamela said "Well they were wrong, she's...missing. They said she went on holiday to try and soften the blow but its the truth. Some grown ups said an evil man kidnapped her but other kids say kooky rumours that she was abducted by malicious aliens from another world or eaten by animals, the aliens thing some kooky guy says he has seen it, nobody knows she just disapeered without a trace and I don't know what to do! Sandra hasn't eaten in a week and her mom might have to take her to the hospital and put her on a drip! I just don't know what else to say Josie" Josie said "I'm sorry I'm so sorry!" and cried but Pamela walked away and went inside her house and locked up the doors and inside could be heard sobbing loudly Josie knocked on the door and shouted "I'M SO SORRY SHE DISAPEERED PLEASE LET ME HELP YOU!" but there was no answer and Josie was forced to walk back to her moms car and her mom drove her back home.
Josie said to her dad "Today sucked I know me and Mikayla don't talk much anymore but she went missing thats so horrible! Why did you lie?" Her dad said "I didn't want you to get scared, you're a very sweet girl and it will give you nightmares, I mean what happened to your friend is every parents worst nightmare or anybody really I didn't want to give you nightmares" Josie said "But lying is bad too! IM NOT A LITTLE CHILD ANYMORE IM A TEEN NOW! IM NOT THE DAMN CRYBABY I USED TO BE! DONT LIE TO ME AGAIN! IM NOT DUMB! This was a horrid day I HATE YOU MOM AND DAD I HATE YOU! I DONT NEED YOU ANYMORE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE" and Josie slammed her bedroom door and forced herself to eat her dinner and then went to sleep while crying.
She slept and in her dreams she could hear...purring of a cat? and this black cat that told her in a angelic like voice "We know what the stars has planned for you and you will push through and you'll be okay, while you're life can has its ups and downs and your destiny won't always be easy I know you'll be fine and everyone loves you and believes in you, so you need to stay strong and believe in yourself" the voice purred next to her and a smaller version of the majestic cat jumped inside her soul then disapeered as she woke up at 7am in the morning of a beautiful sunny day. What a strange dream...
A year later her parents told her she was moving to California because the sunshine would cheer her up and she would have new oppurtunities for friends and her parents could move away from the depressing state of the town, they helped look for her missing friend but they had no luck and felt like total failures, she would be 12 now if she was even still alive. The teen Josie had a new style, she didnt wear hairclips or ribbons anymore she wore pink and black striped shirts and purple skirt with leggings underneath and wore black eyeliner and pink lipgloss. She wasn't as social as she used to be as she had pretty much lost interest in most friendships what was the point without her BFFS forever and she was more withdrawn and a bit depressed, she only hanged out with her little sisters and would spent most of her time listening to new rock and pop bands she downloaded on her iPod or spotify and would edit AMVS. Her parents moved houses and they took a plane and luggage to the new city LA, she never lived in west coast before growing up in new york although she visited it sometimes to see family that lived there and wanted to know what it was like living there. Her parents offered to move her to the best school in the area and even get her a emotional support hedgehog for her. Her mom hugged her and said "your new life will be much better than anything, you will be okay sweetheart I promise it." She didn't know it but the events that were to unfold would set in stone her adventures and her new destiny that would change everything forever but for now all she knew was that she would be okay and no heartbreaks or sorrows last forever.
