Teru had already experienced a lot of stuff at the days leading up to today, almost failed to save someone, discovered an organization called Amarariruku, made friends, something she thought to be impossible, and got beat up by another hero, so, things weren't really the best but she finally managed to get some time to herself
Walking through the city streets, Teru was searching for a store so she could buy herself some groceries, for this walk she was wearing a long skirt, that went down until it was near her feet, black shoes, a white shirt below a black jacket, glasses and having her hair messy as always
But during her walk, she ended up meeting with some not-so-friendly looking individuals, various men wearing black suits and red glasses following a ginger man wearing a round hat and a white suit, Teru ended up hiding in an alleyway while watching the men walking past her, gulping while watching them walking
"Okay… That's the criminal Roman Torchwick… Can I deal with him myself? Well… it's possible, but he is a very well-known criminal, maybe I should call another hero like Spirits before trying to fight someone like him…" Teru thought while looking at her bracelets, this one was a dangerous situation so she needed to act smart
That is until one of the henchmen got shot out of the store by the window, the girl blinked twice after seeing that, before another one flew through another window, this time followed by a girl in a red hood, the girl pulled out some kind of machine and spun it in her hands, and after a few seconds the machine turned into a massive scythe and the girl stuck its blade to the ground
"Wow…" Teru found that girl super cool
But she soon shook her head and breathed in, the girl was dodging the shots from the henchmen by using her scythe gun like a pogo stick, which honestly confused Teru a little but she decided to ignore it. She couldn't let her take on someone like Torchwick, he was dangerous! Teru nodded to herself and then hit her bracelets against each other twice
"Transform!"
After Teru said that her appearance instantly changed, her hair color changing from black to white, her glasses disappearing and being replaced by a white mask with black borders, her clothes being replaced by a white leotard with a black belt on the middle, her arms gaining long white gloves that go up to her forearms e long white boots that go up to her thighs, a big white hood appeared over her head and a black thick collar around her neck, and running down her back was a red cape divided into two sections
And so the hero jumped into action, Teru jumped up with to the side of one of the henchmen and hit him in the head with a dropkick, knocking him out, as she was falling down and the other henchmen looked at her to see what was happening, she spun around in the air and landed legs first on the ground and then quickly jumped back at them, hitting ne henchmen with a headbutt to knock him out, then doing a front flip after the attack and knocking out another henchman on the top of the head with a axekick down
She soon noticed Torchwick pointing his cane at her alarming her before a portal appeared below her and sucked her away and teleported her back to the streets, near the girl with the scythe
"S-stop right there, c-criminal! I-I'm the h-hero S-Shy! A-and I came to stop you!" the hero Shy said, and even if it was more like a whisper while pointing at the criminal, while a small robot shrimp appeared right beside her
"I'm here, Shy!" the shrimp said
"Thanks, Villon." she thanked her companion
Both Torchwick and the mysterious girl looked at the hero doing her presentation, with the girl approaching her immediately
"WOW! You're a real hero! I can't believe I'm actually meeting one! You heroes are just as cool as the huntsmen, oh my Oum! How amazing! I'm Ruby! It's a pleasure to meet you!" the girl, now named Ruby, while she was looking at the little Shy with stars on her eyes
Shy ended up blushing a lot thanks to the approach of the excited girl, she was horrible in these types of situations!
"Uh… Eh… Well… It's like… Uh…" Shy began to stutter while trying to walk away, putting her hands in front of her body and moving her hands from side to side "Too close!"
"A hero here!? I'm not being paid enough to deal with this. Well, it was a pleasure meeting you, Red, White, but I'll be taking my leave!" Torchwick said while pointing his cane at them, its tip opening and revealing it to be an aim and shooting a shining projectile from the cand
"Watch out!" Shy yelled and jumped onto Ruby, pushing her out of the way as the projectile hit where they were and exploded
The two rolled on the ground before they got up and shook their heads, looking around for the criminal
"Oh yeah, the thief! Focus!" Ruby said to herself while looking around
The two looked around trying to find Torchwick, until they saw him climbing up a staircase up to the top of a building, Shy immediately ran after him while Ruby asked the store owner for permission to do so, the two managed to get up the building and saw Torchwick jumping inside a flying vehicle similar with a helicopter, a Bullhead
"Bye-bye!" Torchwick said in a cocky tone before throwing a red crystal at the two girls
And right after shooting another projectile from his cane, Shy and Ruby noticed the projectile approaching and Shy instinctively put herself in front of Ruby to protect her, but suddenly a stranger fell from the skies and protected the two from the explosion that happened after the projectile hit the crystal
The two girls put their hands in front of their faces to protect themselves and when they were able to see again they saw a blonde woman in front of them, her golden hair tied into a small bun, she had a black cape and long black pants, heels, on her torso she had a white long-sleeved shirt with a circular boobwindow, she was wearing a pair of glasses on her face that covered her green eyes
"Wow…" both Ruby and Shy said while blushing
"Wait, why did I blush!?" Shy asked herself confused
Torchwick saw that and seemed to get intimidated by her, going back inside the Bullhead, after a few seconds another person came to the opening of that vehicle, but thanks to the shadows inside the Bullhead it was hard to see any distinguished features from them, but they soon raised their hand and blasted a fireball against the girls, which made the woman raise her reading crop and lift up a part of the roof that was surrounded by a purple aura, and block the attack, destroying the piece from the roof
The figure began to blast various fireballs at her, while the woman dodged and attacked back using various pieces of the destroyed roof at her, surrounding the bullhead with it and trying to keep it in place, until the figure let a heatwave out of the bullhead, destroying the rubble. The woman stares at the figure with a sharp look
Ruby picked up her scythe and turned it into some kind of sniper rifle, beginning to shoot at the Bullhead, which the figure easily blocked with her hand. Shy looked at that and decided to help, bawling her hands into a fist and punching the air very hard, blasting a fire beam at the figure, the figure tried to block the attack but when it hit their hand it pushed them back slightly making the figure look at her curiously
The figure then moved her arm to the side, creating various fire circles around the three, the woman and Shy jumped away, with Ruby jumping a second later, almost being too late to dodge the explosions caused by the circles. And thanks to that distraction the Bullhead managed to escape with Torchwick and the figure
The woman frowned at that and then turned to Shy, who was relaying information to her robot shrimp, which ended making the woman get a little curious, but Ruby got their attention with her admiration noises
"How amazing, a huntress and a hero!" Ruby said making the two look at her "Can you give me your autograph!?"
The woman just stared at her while Shy hid her own blushing face in shame

The two girls were now in an interrogation room, with Teru having returned to her citizen mode. The shy girl looked at the person who got her into this situation, Ruby, with an intrigued look
"Who is this girl and how did she best two of those henchmen on her own?"
But in front of them, that blonde woman was walking from side to side and scolding them, saying how Ruby was irresponsible and how Teru as a hero should have made that girl not be a part of that. Now that she had given her a good look, Teru noticed that this woman was the huntress Glynda Goodwitch! She had heard of her from Spirits one time when she was drunkenly rambling about people
"You two committed various mistakes in this situation, this could've very well resulted in the two of you getting gravely hurt." the blonde explained
"Sorry…" the two said, with Teru stuttering and whispering while Ruby murmuring about them starting
"You two are lucky that two important people have gotten interested in you two because if it was up to me you two would go home with a pat on the back and a slap on the wrist!" Glynda said while hitting her reading crop on the table, scaring the two girls
The blonde walked to the side, revealing a man with white hair and black glasses, and right beside him, a tall blonde woman was wearing a mask that covered her entire face. The man was holding a mug while the woman was holding a plate filled with cookies
"Ruby Rose…" the man said while leaning close to her "You… have silver eyes."
"Uh…" Ruby found that weird
"Hello again, Shy." the woman said with a slightly ethereal voice
"H-hi, Unilord…" Teru answered while looking down to hide her own face
"So, Ruby, Teru, tell me. Where did you learn to do this?" the man asked while Glynda showed a tablet with a video of Teru and Ruby fighting the henchmen, Ruby fighting inside the store while Teru was shown fighting them outside
"S-Signal Academy…" Ruby answered
"I-I learned it… I-in my hero training and i-improvising…" Teru said while gulping, being clearly nervous
"Makes sense for Teru, but Ruby, Signal taught you how to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever created?" the man asked
"Well… One teacher in particular did…" Ruby explained
"Ah yes." Unilord said while putting the plate of cookies on the table "You can eat, l made it with my special recipe so it's cocoamazing!"
The two stared at Unilord for a few seconds, processing what she was saying
"It's a pun." Unilord said
The two still didn't say anything, Ruby slowly picked one of the cookies and at it, noticing how they tasted great and eating various back to back while Teru looked at that alarmed, and tried to grab one, but failed since she didn't want to bother the girl
"Well, it's just that there's only one person that I know with such abilities with a scythe. An old crow…" the man said while watching the girls interacting with the cookies with an amused look
"Oh, xats muai unxle!" Ruby said with her mouth full before swallowing them "Sorry. That's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was horrible at using it before but then he took me under his wing and now I'm all howaaa! And hitchaaa!"
Teru watched Ruby talk and do karate poses and used that opportunity to grab the last cookie on the plate and are it
"Qrow… he is also a huntsman, I think… Spirits said something about him drinking with her sometimes… I never understood why his name starts with a "Q"..." Teru thought
Ruby noticed that the last cookie had disappeared and then looked Teru angrily pouting, making the girl start to shake her arms very fast while apologizing
"I noticed. But tell me, what is a cute girl like you doing in a school made to train warriors?" the man asked
"Well, I wanna be a huntress." Ruby answered
"You want to hunt monsters?" Unilord masked curiously
"Yes! I have just two more years at Signal and then I can apply to Beacon!" Ruby said, explaining how her sister was there this year, and how she wanted to help people, and how huntresses were super cool, but she talked way too fast for Teru to understand
"TOO FAST!" Teru yelled while her eyes began to spin like whirlpools
Glynda, the man, and Unilord kept looking at Ruby with an analytic look, seemingly studying her
"Do you know who I am?" the man asked
"You are Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster Beacon." Ruby answered
"Did you know that, Teru?" Unilord asked
"Y-yes. I-its kinda hard not to with all of those n-news about t-training new h-huntsmen and always show him…" Teru said while stuttering thanks to her nervousness, as always
"Hehe, that's me. Hello." Ozpin said with a smile
"It's a pleasure to meet you."
"H-hi…"
"Ruby, you want to go to my school?" Ozpin asked her
"More than anything!" Ruby answered determined
Ozpin gave Glynda a small look while she huffed disapprovingly of his choice, but Ozpin just smiled
"Alrighg."
Ruby had the biggest smile a person could have in her face, Teru even thought it was kind of cute… Until Unilord came to her ear and whispered
"You will go too."
"E-EH!?"

On the next day, inside a plane, Teru was looking out the window with a shocked expression

"What do you mean I have to go to Beacon!?" Teru yelled panicked, one of the few times something like this happened… even if her yells were still a little quiet
"You can consider it extra hero training, and also, no need to worry. Other young heroes will be there to assist you." Unilord explained
"B-but why!?" Teru asked
"Well, I am doing a slight collaboration with Ozpin for some important reasons after the discovery of the Amararirukus, so it's better for you to be there to help. I even managed to get some heroes as teachers there, so once again, no need to worry!" Unilord explained and gave Teru a thumbs-up

Teru couldn't believe she was really doing this, school was already a challenge for her thanks to her shyness, but now she had to deal with something thousands of times bigger! She will probably just drop dead on the first day! And she didn't have her friend with her, this was the worst situation possible!
"Hey, you shouldn't get so scared because of something so simple. As heroes we have to maintain our composure in situations like these." a girl a little taller than Teru said while approaching her. That girl had long black hair, she was wearing a black sweater over a long-sleeved white shirt, a dark blue skirt, black thigh-high socks, and white shoes. Along with the same bracelets Teru had
"U-uh, thanks… Uh…" Teru said while looking at that stranger
"Piltz Dunant." the girl revealed her name
"Oh, I-its a pleasure! My name is T-Teru-"
"I know who you are! Do you not remember me!?"
"...Sorry"
"I'M LADY BLACK!"
"Uh…"
"I HEALED YOU AFTER YOUR TRAINING WITH STARDUST!"
"Ah! Yes yes, I remember now. Sorry about that Piltz." Teru did a bow while apologizing
"Tsk, try not to forget it this time." Piltz said annoyed
The two girls heard something about a criminal on the loss and decided to go see what was up with that, just to see a hologram showing the local news
"Wow…" Teru said impressed
"Technology around here sure is advanced." Piltz said intrigued
"In other news, the Faunus civil rights protest this Saturday takes a dark turn when the White Fang, a once peaceful organization, disrupted the protest-"
The news was cut short by the hologram disappearing and being replaced by one of Glynda
"Who is that?" Piltz asked surprised
"I am Glynda Goodwitch." the hologram said
"Oh."
"Hello and welcome to Beacon. You are among the few privileged enough to be a part of our prestigious academy. Our world is experiencing a great era of peace, and as future huntresses and huntsmen, you must maintain said peace. You have shown the bravery to accomplish such a task, so allow us to give you the training and knowledge to protect this world." Hologram Glynda said before disappearing
"Hmm. I think as heroes we have a certain advantage here, but we shouldn't underestimate the people here." Piltz said to herself
"I wonder how Iko is doing…" Teru thought while looking out the window again

The two had finally arrived at Beacon Academy, seeing that massive place that looked more like a castle than a school
"Wow…" Teru was impressed again
"Not even the Black Cross was this big…" Piltz said impressed
"And there's so many people…" Teru gulped, this was for sure going to be a problem "C-come on Teru, this is part of your training! If you don't manage this, you will never be a good enough hero! So let's go!"
She then took one step and tripped off something and began to fall forward
"I'm a failure… It seems like this is the end for me… Sorry sister… Sorry Iko… I'm falling for a long time, this is going to hur-"
She then fell face first onto a bunch of suitcases that were being carried in a very fancy push cart, some colorful dust flew out of the suitcases when she fell on them
"Teru, are you okay?" Piltz asked while she helped her get up
"What do you think you're doing!?" an annoyed voice was heard near them
When they turned to see who was talking they saw a girl with long white had, wearing a white dress with its interior being red, blue eyes and a pale skin
"Uh… S-sorry…" Teru apologized with a whisper
"Sorry!? There's no sorry for this! Do you even know what you just did!?" the girl yelled a Teru making her shrink a little
"U-uh…"
"This here!" the girl picked up one of the suitcases and opened it, showing her some flasks "It's dust! Pure and mined by Schnee Enterprise!"
"U-uh…" Teru was starting to get watery eyes
"WHAT!? ARE YOU BRAIN DEAD!? Dust! Water, fire, electricity, energy! Don't you know what it is!?" the girl continued
"S-sorry… I-I didn't…" Teru was almost beginning to cry right there, her face completely red out of shame
"I… E-eh… A-are you crying?" asked looking genuinely worried
"Hey! Enough! She already apologized, no need to be screaming at her because of it!" Piltz took a step forward, putting herself between Teru and this girl, she could be very hard on Teru but she wouldn't just stay still while she was being attacked like this
"I-I didn't…"
"Tsk! Let's go, Teru." Piltz said and took Teru away from there
"H-huntresses are scary…" Teru whispered
Seems like this was going to be a lot harder than she originally thought…
Welcome to the begining of a fun idea I had at three A.M. This will be more of a fun passion project so it may not have super frequent updates.
There are a few things I have to explain about the setup first.
the world is mainly the RWBY world, so I'll try and give every hero that appears in this story a designated area but it will be hard since I'm not that knowledgeble of RWBY lore, I'm a very casual RWBY fan, but I'll try my best
Teru has been aged up to be the same age as Ruby, since I don't think Glynda would ever allow a 14 year old to be a part of beacon, so Shy is now 16, and Pilse and the other two heroes that will be a part of Teru's team will be the same age as Yang, Blake, and Weiss probably (still thinking about the age of one of them so this might change)
The heroes heart powers are basically the same as semblances and they do have Aura, but the bracelets help bring that out with even bigger eficiency so it makes their aura stronger when they are in their hero mode, I'll explain this more later in the story
Heroes and Huntsmen are different, I'll explain why later in the story.
I recomend reading Shy, since there will be heavy spoilers about stuff not shown in the anime like stuff that will happen in season 2, but you can enter this journey with us blind too if you want
