~A few moments later~
Third Person POV
Laval arrived at the lion temple with the baby in his arms. He parked his speedor but the tension is building up in Laval.
'How am i suppose explain this to my dad?' The lion prince thought to himself while looking at the human baby in his arms.
Laval swallowed hard before he begins walking while occasionally glancing around to see anybody nearby.
The lion prince could feel his heart race as he walked further while hoping that no lion would look in his direction.
"Laval? you're back already" The lion stopped in his tracks when he hears his father's voice behind him.
Laval was about to say something but the human baby started crying causing the other lions to looked at Laval.
"Laval is that baby?" Lagravis questioned his own son as Longtooth and Leonidas came to his side.
Longtooth is 65 year old brown lion with brown mane who refuse to retire even at old age. He has three claw scars on his right side of his chest as a battle scars during his servitude with King Lagravis. He is both a foot soldier and an adviser to the King
Leonidas, on the other hand, is a 25 year old lion who is a foot soldier. Unlike the other lion soldier who had a mustard yellow mane. Leonidas has an orange mane instead, making it easy for other lions to distinguish him with the rest. He also wears a single blue strap in order for him to plug chi during the amidst of a battle.
"Yes... Dad, " Laval replied with a hint of nervousness in his tone, and he slowly turned around, showing them the bundle in his arms while the red maned lion attempts to calm down the baby.
Lagravis walks up to his son with a raised eyebrow to see the baby up close.
Upon a close inspection from Lagravis. The King of Lions' eyes went wide upon seeing the human baby for the first time, and King Lagravis was speechless on what he saw.
"Can we have a look?" Longtooth asked Laval before handing the bundle to the old brown lion. The old lion foot soldier was shocked to see a human for the first time, and the same reaction is to apply to Leonidas as he looked at the human baby.
King Lagravis regains his composure before shaking his head and then facing his son.
"Laval... My son... What kind of animal even is this, baby?" The grey maned lion king inquires in a calm tone with a hint of stern in Lagravis' voice.
"Dad. I do not know... Maybe the Lion Elders know" Laval looked away, avoiding his father's gaze while looking down at his own feet.
"But dad... can i keep the baby?" The red maned lion prince asked his father.
Lagravis puts a hand on his son's shoulder, showing him that he wasn't anger at Laval.
"You can keep the baby but it's your responsibility now. Anything that will happen to this baby and you will be responsible for it. Do you understand my son?" Lagravis tells Laval with a stern and calming tone in the Lion king's voice.
The red maned lion prince looked at his father as a smile is slowly forming on Laval's face.
"I shall take the responsibility... Dad... I promise to take care of the baby" The Lion prince replied with a determination in his tone before grabbing the bundle from Longtooth.
"Very well my son... But what will you name the baby?" Lagravis inquires while staring at the baby's blue eyes.
"I shall named the baby... Lingard" Laval tells Lagravis and then the human baby laughed, indicating that he liked it.
But then the baby started crying again and they heard Lingard's tummy rumble.
"I'm gonna make the baby formula. Be right back" Longtooth told them before walking away and soon Leonidas followed the old brown lion as well.
This is the beginning of Lingard's new life in the lion temple even if he is different.
