Chapter 3 Visit from Shane
Shane's point of view
When I arrived at the tower, Pepper and Tony were sitting on the couch. She was sitting on his lap, they were snogging.
"Sir, you have visitors," said J.A.R.V.I.S.
"Shane, you brought my suitcase?"
"Yes Ginny I did"
"Thank you"
"I'd better get back, I'm snowed under at work at the moment."
"I'll walk you downstairs," said Tony. "The elevator to the last 10 floors is currently under maintenance."
"OK"
"I'll be right back Pep"
"OK"
"I was thinking of arranging a dinner party but I need to speak to your parents first"
"OK… Dad should be at the office tomorrow"
"OK does he take a lunch break?"
"Mom brings him lunch at 12."
"I'll be there at 12 then. Please give your sister my best."
"Why do you need to see Mom and Dad?"
"Well, I was thinking that with this whole Thanos thing, it might be time to…" he rummaged in his coat pocket for a moment and pulled out a grey velvet box. Inside was a beautiful ring.
"You're going to propose?"
"Yes, but I want to ask permission from your parents first."
"Thank you Tony"
