This day, Marcy told Josie that Andrias wanted her for two games of Flipwart just between the two of them alongside her mommas watching, one game in human form and one in cheetah form with specially made different rules and then Andrias wanted Josie to go adventuring.
Josie pondered "Why can't we join in on the game of Flipwart, I mean I dunno how to play complicated games like that but still?"
Andrias replied "Flipwart is fun to us but can be awfully dry sometimes, we can have atleast a bajillion rematches too, I want you to have a spare day just for you and your friends to go adventuring for whatever you wish. Me and Yulivia will only be borrowing Marcy for a day, don't worry Josephine, you'll get her back the next day! If she wins I promised her she gets a free day off tomorrow so you can do whatever you all want tomorrow!"
Josie gasped "REALLYYY?! ANYTHING we want? I wish good luck to her if thats the case, see ya laters to both of you!"
Andrias replied with "Ciao Ciao Josie!" as Josie and the girls with Spike on Joe Sparrow's back. They all shouted on his back "WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!" Just wanting a joy ride until the bird needed to eat and they landed to feed him.
They landed in a place near a cavern where an older newt lady with a cane and a parrot on her shoulder awaited their arrival.
Evelyn shrugged her shoulders and asked "So, why did Joe like take us here?"
Katrina shrugged harder with "Don't they eat worms or something? Maybe this cave has a ton of wormies or something I dunno"
Jessica asked "A better question is who is that old lady staring at us, at Josie?"
Josie noticed the woman staring at the gang and Spike growled and raised his hackles in suspiscion of the strange woman.
Josie asked her "Hello, um have we uh met before?" she asked with curiousity.
The older newt woman thwacked her on the side slightly with her cane "HAVE we met before? Ehehehehhehheheh such a foolish question, such sheer laziness and distrust of your own memory"
Josie looked confused "I have no idea what you mean by this?"
The woman revealed herself as Valeriana and replied with "You are your group of friends met me in that store in that town, you don't really remember? tut tut tut" She shook her head in annoyance.
Amanda yelled "HEY what do you think you're doing to the kiddo!"
Valeriana chuckled "Now Now, I intend no harm or getting mauled by angry mothers, I only intend on opening her mind and her discovering her purpose, why she was brought here"
Amanda grimaced and demanded "What purpose, her purpose is to be with us, her friends and family!"
Valeriana replied with "That is quite true yes yes, but I'm speaking of different matters, did she ever tell you of how she arrived here? Hmm? The silly shnedigans that led her all the way to this jungle continent? Never spoke not even a word?"
Amanda glared with a reply "I'm afraid that simply isn't your buisness! You're a stranger, why should I trust you?"
Valeriana replied with "Ehehehehheh, I am a guardian of Amphibia silly! I'm no stranger, especially not to these lands! I am not a random old lay-dee" she mimicked.
Amanda apologized with "Hey! I wasn't meaning on making fun of you, I'm sorry if I disrepected you but Josie's wellbeing is very important to me!"
Valeriana replied with "That makes sense, Josie is a very unique and important girl, but I need her to see what I mean by this. She's a smart girl, she'll figure it out, follow me and you'll see"
Joe Sparrow waited inside the cave but outside of the enterance as the girls waved him goodbye!
Amanda and the girls followed her through the cave, travelling through tough pathways, dead ends, avoiding traps and vampurr bats felines, and slide down a slope to arrive in the city underground, a beautiful crystaline city where the mystic, rarest and a unique species of amphibian lived away from the above. The Olms.
The girls (other than Josie) and Spike landed in a slump and the older woman landed gracefully strangely enough. They dusted themselves after coughing and went back to their previous state of grace. Josie licked her paws with her tongue.
Katrina said "That was certainly a landing! And did we seriously go through a puzzle just to land on our butt in dirt?"
Evelyn said "Oof! My butt hurts from that landing!"
Amanda said "Are you all alright?" and everyone said they were fine. Spike nuzzled everyone and licked them while his tiny tail waggled cutely.
Josie landed on her feet as all cats do though.
Josie kissed Jessica on the cheek and asked "You okay Jessikins?" and Jessica replied "I'm fine my fuchsia princess" They nuzzled and continued onwards.
Valeriana muttered "It is never easy or straightfoward the pathway to knowledge, its the universe's kindness that allowed us to make it this far"
Evelyn jumped on Katrina's head and asked "What does that mean?"
Valeriana replied with "It'll all make sense soon, you'll know" as she disapeered into the shadows with a big cheeky smile on her face.
The girls wondered foward until they stared in AWE at the breathtakingly beautiful underground city in front of their very eyes, so elegant and crystalline with bright shades of blue and indigo everywhere.
Although in front of them was a terrifyingly large yellow and pink olm with crystal jewellry and several other olm guards, she was intimidating and glared at what she assumed where noisy intruders to the city.
Her name was Parisia and she frowned at them as her lips curled in disgust and she folded her arms in crystal clear annoyance. She demanded "WHO are you girls and what are you doing in this city?"
Josie stepped fowards wanting to explain her situation. She told the guard "I'm Josephine but my friends call me Josie and a guardian lady calling herself Valeriana led us to this grande city!"
Parisia look at her and asked "Valeriana? That lady? As in THE Valeriana? Oh where are my manners, guards lead them to Mother Olm she wants to see them she told me"
Jessica while holding her arms whispered "Josie, that was quick! I thought we would be batering for enterance forever"
Josie replied "I'd never let her hold us out like that! I'd never let that happen! I'd claw them if they'd try!"
Jessica whispered back "I know, you're my miracle" and she hugged her very tightly.
Parisia said "Just be on your best behaviours, this is not a tourist trap, this is our only home, good"
They walked towards the room where Mother Olm is and the door opened.
The older olm asked "Settle down everyone, I am indeed Mother Olm" She pointed to Josie as she gasped and Mother Olm asked her "You are the one they call Josephine aren't you? Yes, you are. You are definitely the one, I see in it in the way your hair sparkles, your star mark on your cheek, your eyes radiate such warm SPIRIT and SOUL, oh how I have heard of you and without even leaving an inch of the city mind you, but to meet one of the chosen ones in person, so fascinating" She wondered how Josie managed to have the fate of the worlds on her shoulders while still being so playful and full of wonder at the same time.
Josie asked "Chosen ones? ME? How did I not know this?" She knew her powers made her different but she never pondered much about it.
Mother Olm asked her "Child, child. Please take a deep breath and think about everything that occurred before and when you arrived here and everyones reactions to you. What happened when the box that sent you here opened up?"
Josie took a deep breath and thought about it. She told Mother Olm everything she knew, She remember how she saw a rainbow colored opalescent gem on that box that spoke to her, made her feel warm and it felt familar like if that gemstone was her sister. Then the box opened up and horrible visions of an red apocalyptic future flashed before her eyes and then her entire life played out like a movie up before that point. And not to mention all the times that black space cat would purr in her dreams and how black cats would always jump inside her in dreams or how sometimes throughout her life black cats would randomly follow her when she was walking down the street or if she was at the park and would sit and watch her.
It was so strange but with this in mind, it was starting to make more sense. It was truely marvelous!
Mother Olm listened to her words carefully while nodding along the way. Finally when Josie stopped speaking she spoke up and what she said made Josie gasp.
Mother Olm told her "Josie between you me and your little friends over there, I think the blue haired one is your girlfriend correct?" Josie noddly very happily and Mother Olm replied "Good for you child, young love is always sweet to see. But anyways Between you and me, I have to tell you this but you promise to tell nobody else understood? Good, You are the enbodiment of the SPIRIT, as the other beings you call hummus or hoomanne are the enbodiment of WIT, STRENGHT, HEART, PASSION, SWIFT, MOXIE, FORGIVENESS and ANIMA, each with the special gift of magical beast forms. You all have a very special meaning to this world and yours so don't waste it. 9 stars shine burning bright, come from beyond to expel the night, should they fight with their claws or embrace the fall their desicions will dertemine the fate of all"
Josie looked confused but yet grateful for this dose of wisdom. "I...I...thank you...I'm truely speechless really."
Mother Olm continued with "Let me give you one last thing" She planted her tiniest little finger ever so gentley "To peek into the future is both a blessing and a curse but its not something anybody should be messing, you're a good girl Josie, I believe in you, SPIRIT, may your star burn the brightest Josie"
Josie replied "Thank...you Mother Olm"
Mother Olm replied "No need to thank me, starlight. Now run back to where you were as this meeting is now over, may your spirit shine the brightest Starlight"
Mother Olm led the girls to the exit while grinning.
Josie groaned "Is the exit ANOTHER Puzzle! Man I hate those things!"
Mother Olm chuckled "I never said being a chosen one was easy"
The girls made their way back to Newtopia castle, exhausted and not knowing what to say after the mind blowing info they recieved from the wise old Olm.
Evelyn asked "What just happened?"
Katrina replied "My mind was blown so hard I don't think it exists anymore"
They were truely speechless.
When they went to the castle, Marcy went up to Josie and hugged her hard "GUESS GUESS GUESS GUESS WHAT happened Josie? Its so cool!"
Josie asked "What happened? You're so happy!"
Marcy exclaimed "IM NOW THE KINGS ADVISOR!"
Josie said "CONGRATS GIRL! Man, you make Flipwart look eaasssssyyyy!"
"Aw shucks Josie you're so sweet! Flipwart when shifted is even better, TRUST MEEEEE! EEEEEEEE! It has such a unique playstyle for a new form so cool! I wrote it all down in my journal!" Marcy purred as her tail made her trip on her cape "Aw man clumsy me whoops!"
"You okay?" Josie asked
"I'm good!" Marcy exclaimed as she shifted and licked her paw and nuzzle her tripped on tail and then reverted back into human form. "Man I'm shedding fur quite a bit!"
Josie replied with "ME TOO! Amanda made mine into a blanket for Spike!"
Marcy said "SO cute! I should ask Olivia to make mine into a sweater for my new pet ducky!"
Josie said "THE DUCK IS SOOOOOO CUTE! has such big fangs but that makes him 10x cuter ahhhhhh!"
Marcy chuckled "IKR! But to be honest I hope Joe Sparrow doesn't get jealous at the new guy!"
It was a pretty good day for everyone!
