Hi. My inspiration for 'Drifting along' and this, is from songs, I dunno why they make me think these up but they do. Also, Soundwave is such a cute mech regardless of which continuity!

I felt a bit of wind on my face as Jack and I rode on Arcee's vehicle mode, which was Jack's motorcycle.

"Please don't get hurt." Jack said to me when we pulled up to the museum where this 'artifact' was meant to be in.

"I can't go- do what? _, you know- I would- die for you." I never thought I would have to do so much clip-making until now. Jack laughed a bit then understood the actual message and said,

"No, seriously, don't. Please, mom has enough to worry about without us getting 'random' cuts and bruises."

"Okay." I said in my own voice, he still hadn't figured it out. I normally wore a mask- I had a slight fear of viruses ever since I had gotten the chickenpox once- unless I was at home or where Jack works, this was no exception, so he probably never saw my mouth move. I was also skinnier than what was seen for most people, longer fingers too, earning me the title of freak from some of the people at school.

We walked up to the museum front door and entered, meeting up with Raf and Miko. After a long while of checking in with Optimus and such, we tried getting down the golden ball that was apparently an ancient cybertronian- don't ask me what a cybertronian is- artifact. We heard some loud metal clashing and looked at the front only to see a couple of what the others called 'decepticons'.

A minute or two later we heard the alarm go off and opted to leave. Miko got caught during that and me, Jack, and Rafael were left to see someone named Soundwave enter the building.

"Aw, hell." I muttered quietly, just what we needed, a decepticon.

"Get behind me, sis." Jack said, I didn't comply, rather, I turned and punched the fire thing to get the fire axe and ran at the 'con. I hit their arm instead of their face like I'd been hoping to hit. They picked me up and flung me aside. I hit a wall- hard- and might have blacked out from the force, because the next thing I saw was Jack leaning over me with a worried expression on his face.

"I told you to get behind me." He tried joking but it was lost in the current situation I was in. I sat up and got to my feet, looking around to see where my phone was.

"This what you're looking for?" Jack held up my phone and I took it, playing the same clip I had earlier,

"I can't go- do what? _ you know- I would- die for you."

"Yeah, yeah. C'mon, we need to get home before mom does from her late shift, I'll... make an excuse about you slipping and hitting your head on the concrete."

"Yeah~!" An obnoxious singing voice said.

I lay on my bed, thinking about things I hadn't in a while; what am I meant to do? Where should I go after I'm done with high-school? Will I ever get married, actually, I don't care for that.

Mom had bought our cover story, but I was sure that she thought it was suspicious.

I decided to take a walk to clear my mind. Tip-toeing downstairs, I went to the front door- I left a note of course- and left the house. The cool night air helped me sort things thru, I doubled back when I had cleared my mind up from its organized chaos.

Just when I had reached my street, I heard something behind me. Turning around, I saw a huge black-and-blue something in the street.

Soundwave.

I almost screamed if not for the countless times my orphanage caretaker Mia had snuck up and scared me, and began running home faster than I thought I could. I played a song called 'Danger Danger' by club danger, my body reacted well to things when the appropriate music was playing, I had based half of my life on music anyways.

We weren't that far down it, so I had made it there easily. I went up the stairs quietly- well, as quietly as you can when in panic- and made it to my room. Just as I was about to start locking things up, my window opened and a tentacle slipped in and grabbed me. I froze, returning to my mind when it began trying to drag me out of the window. I kicked and thrashed about, attempting to get away because I knew the moment I was out that window, I would lose.

I tried punching the tentacle, needless to say, metal is stronger than flesh. I rubbed on my hand to soothe the pain it felt, but ended up making myself vulnerable.

"Ah!" I accidentally shouted in surprise when it yanked me thru the open window and out into the night. I knew I lost, so I stopped fighting- I was an orphan before, so I know when to cut my loses and accept things-. I was dropped into the open hand of the robot who looked at me with its blank screen silently. It was unnerving, to say the least.

I reached for my phone and played a clip of people screaming in fright, I also turned down the volume so it didn't play very loud. I stared at Soundwave the entire time the screaming sound bit was playing in hopes of making them nervous. It didn't work, but it did get my point across that I was frightened by them.

A green swirling mess formed near us and we- me shying away from it the closer we got until I had to be held tight otherwise I would have jumped off Soundwaves' hand, 20-ish foot drop be damned- went thru it.

I was queasy when we emerged in a base of sorts.

"Ah, it appears you have successfully captured the human." A gray robot off to my right said, they looked like a crazy person with odd creases around their mouth. I could think of only one word that would describe what I thought of them. Disgusting. "Soundwave, take care of her, she may be a useful bargaining chip against the autobots if she truly is one of their humans' sister."

"You- look absolutely- hideous." I had gotten one of my arms free and used an old clip played at full volume I forgot I had to describe what I thought of this new robot as I was carried away by my new 'caretaker'.
