QA: Fixed the decent stat thing.
Finn, Tanya, and Kuro prowled the first floor.
Looking at them, Finn could see that they weren't nervous and seemed as if they were taking a casual stroll.
Beforehand, they had told him he would take on a goblin that appeared.
So far, they hadn't found anything.
From the corner, two goblins appeared and Finn became excited.
Kuro smiled at him.
"Ready?"
Finn nodded and prepared his spear.
"Yes."
The two goblin charged.
Tanya flicked her hand and a fast golden light shot out that killed one goblin.
Finn became surprised but quickly found his calm.
He got ready to fight the goblin charging towards them.
When the goblin got close, Finn ran forward and impaled it with his spear.
It didn't even try to dodge.
However, it didn't die from being impaled and struggled fiercely.
Finn pushed his spear forward but the creature only seemed to snarl with pain.
Seeing that it wasn't going to die anytime soon, Finn pulled out his spear and quickly impaled the goblin again.
Tanya decided to give him some advice.
"Aim for its skull or heart."
Understanding her, he pulled out his spear and impaled the goblin in the skull.
It went limp and died.
Tanya clapped her hand.
"Good, let's find more for you to practice."
Kuro harvested the crystal and the three continued on.
Later, two Kobolds appeared and rushed them.
Tanya easily dispatched one of them with a flick of her hand.
Finn wanted to fight the remaining Kobold.
"Let me fight it."
Tanya glanced at Kuro and he shrugged.
The Kobold closed in quickly and Finn ran forward to meet its charge.
He stabbrd forward and impaled the Kobold.
It howled with pain and moved back.
Finn tried to quickly impale it again but dodged with great speed and closed in on him.
Tanya and Kuro seemed to cringe.
Finn immediately abandoned his spear and pulled out his short sword.
He stabbed the Kobold and it howled with pain.
However, that wasn't enough and it swiped at him.
Kuro seemed to have appeared by Finn's side and grabbed the wrist of the Kobold.
He pulled his arms back and delivered a punch that broke the Kobold's neck.
The Kobold went limp and died.
Finn let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
Kuro started to harvest the two Kobolds.
There was a question on Finn's mind.
"Am I weak?"
Kuro decided to comfort him.
"By normal standards, you're pretty brave to be facing any of these monsters."
Tanya stated her opinion.
"You simply lack experience."
Finn smiled but knew they didn't answer his question.
"Thank you."
The three continued on.
Three goblins appeared and Tanya dispatched two of them.
Finn ran forward to meet the last one and impaled it in the skull.
It died and went limp.
A small smile graced Finn's face, he was starting to get the hang of it.
Kuro questioned him with a smile.
"Think you can take on two?"
Finn didn't feel confident about taking on two.
If he didn't kill the first one quickly enough, the other would have time to close in on him.
But then Finn realized he could use his sword to fight the second one.
"I think so."
Kuro nodded and the three continued on.
Tanya watched as two goblins appear and Finn prepared to fight.
Honestly, Tanya would rather be on the second floor fighting new monsters.
It seems going to the second floor kept being delayed.
She could leave to go to the second floor now but the young Pallum's impression of her might decrease and instead shift toward Kuro.
She couldn't have Kuro scheming new Familia members against her.
Looking at the way Finn fought was frustrating, but she decided to tolerate it.
As for Kuro, so far she determined he was either a reincarnater or transmigrater like her.
It's not like she's the only one who could reincarnate or transmigrate.
His words about her losing her memory were most likely true.
It concerned her but she could do nothing about it except fish it out of Kuro slowly.
Finn killed the first goblin by impaling it in the hand.
He let go of his spear and pulled out his short sword.
He swung at the goblin and it staggered back in pain.
Again he swung and it staggered back.
Remembering about the head and heart, he stabbed his sword into the goblin's head, and it died.
Kuro looked at Tanya.
"Shall we continue?"
She could see that he was asking her if she wanted them to split up to make more money.
"I'll stay with Finn."
Kuro nodded at her.
"Alright, see you later."
She watched him disappear and then facepalmed inside when she remembered he hadn't harvested the goblin.
"Come, Finn, let me teach you how to harvest."
Finn went to his own goblin and started harvesting it the way she did.
He seemed to have a question.
"If you have a question, just ask."
Encouraged, he asked.
"Was the golden light that shot out from your hand magic?"
Tanya nodded at him.
"Yes."
The goblins turned to dust without their crystal and the two stood up.
They walked together.
Finn had a wistful face.
"I wish I could learn magic."
Tanya knew he probably could.
"I can teach you the ways on how magic works. When you get your Falna updated and your magic comprehension is high enough, you may learn magic."
Finn looked at her expectantly.
"Can you?"
Tanya gave a smile.
"Of course."
The two continued on and encountered more goblins.
Finn slowly but surely got better at fighting them.
When the day was about to end, the two left the dungeon and met up with Kuro.
They cashed their crystals and earned together a total of 5700 Valis.
Meeting up with Loki, they went to a restaurant and dined.
