Harry looked around, and silently cast. Soon all the students and teachers were in their classrooms, and the day proceeded as scheduled. In the headmaster's office, Harry and the royals sat around the room. Harry grinned and cast another spell. Everyone in the school felt the spell wash over them. Harry winked at the royals. Mal looked at him, "You formally took over as headmaster, didn't you?"
Harry nodded. Mal sighed, "It's really for the best. After all the stunts he's pulled since just before we arrived."
Just then Harry felt a knock on the wards, and an image appeared on the wall behind the royals. Harry sent his patronus to Minerva, and another to Ms. Pince. Soon, Minerva was walking into the room. "Thanks, Harry for sending Irma to watch over my classroom. Harry pointed to the image he had been looking at. "Any idea who that is, Aunt?"
She looked over and groaned, "Delores Umbridge. Undersecretary to Fudge, and hates all creatures. He probably sent her."
Everyone watched as Filch walked toward her. They could hear the conversation, and apparently she was there to speak to the headmaster about a job. Harry raised an eyebrow at Minerva, "Do we have any openings?"
Minerva shook her head. Mal raised an eyebrow, "She may think the Dark art job is open. If I recall correctly, teachers don't last long in that job."
Harry had to agree. "I thought we hired Remus to do the job."
"We did. You do have to cover him during that time of month, though." Minerva looked at her nephew.
Harry nodded, "I'll set it up with him."
He sent his patronus to Filch. They watched as the pink nightmare stomped her feet and glared. Harry smirked at the people around him as they watched her walk away, "It is good to be headmaster."
Minerva chuckled, "She will be back though. That woman is nothing but a bull, stubborn and determined."
Harry rolled his eyes. Just then, they all heard a loud crash. Another image popped up, this time showing a mess of pink robes with purple stars that reminded Harry of the night sky, kind of. Minerva groaned, "Albus. I guess you becoming headmaster has literally kicked him out of Hogwarts."
Just then, robe after robe in the ugliest patterns flew out of the bedroom and through the window that opened. As everyone in the castle watched, students with their faces plastered against the windows saw the robes dump themselves on the fallen former headmaster. As everyone watched, the man struggled but finally stood and shouted, "Hogwarts I demand entrance as your headmaster."
The whole castle shook, making Harry think it was imitating blowing a raspberry. Which it essentally was. Minerva sent a patronus to Albus, which statedAlbus, the castle is on lockdown. Apparently you have been replaced as headmaster. I am sorry but you will have to find a new permanent home.
Minerva looked at Harry, who sent a patronus to Lucius, warning him of current events. She also requested they keep the new headmaster quiet. Harry looked at her, "We will have to let everyone know. Oh here comes Sererus."
Minerva hid a smirk. The potion master came in, "Is there a reason the castle shook? I left Hermione and Draco in charge of the potion classroom."
He had interpreted Harry's worried look correctly, seeing Harry relax.
"Albus tried to get in, and demanded Hogwarts let her in. Hogwarts basically gave him the equivalent of a raspberry, in her own way." Harry answered him. Jay laughed and walked over to a wall, "Good job, Hogwarts."
The castle preened. Harry laughed, "She felt good doing it. Now, Let's get this day over with."
Everyone nodded and left. Harry got to work on the paperwork in front of him.
Lunch came and he left the office, heading for the Great Hall. When he got there, he noticed the students looking around worriedly. He moved to the headmaster's chair. "Everyone, I'm sure you all are worried about the castle, however she is fine. Our previous headmaster has been removed from this castle. He demanded to return, and Hogwarts decided to let it's feelings show. Those of you who did not grow up in the wizarding world would call it a raspberry."
The purebloods looked confused until a bunch of muggleborns demonstrated. Then the whole room shook with laughter. They also felt the castle do it again. The first years laughed until their sides hurt. Harry smiled at everyone. Then Ron stood up, "What are you doing in the headmaster's seat, Mate?"
Hermione slapped her forehead, "Ron, it's obvious. He was choosen as Headmaster."
Severus saw Ginny's eyes light up. He raised an eyebrow and shook his head,Great. She thinks she can get him if he is headmaster.
Minerva rolled her eyes, having seen Ginny's display. She leaned over and whispered to Harry. Harry nodded, and looked over the students. "As I am headmaster, I will not be in any classes anymore. I will be doing my education priavtely. Also, the headmaster's office will be closed to all students until the next academic year starts. Any questions or requests for help will be handled by the deputy headmistress, Proffesor McGonagall."
The two teachers saw Ginny deflate and Ron whisper in her ear. The twins raised their eyebrows, having heard what he said. They looked at Severus, who nodded.
Just then, another knock was felt through the school. Harry cast a spell and saw Umbridge and Fudge standing outside the wards. He rolled his eyes, "Deputy Headmistress, could you please greet our guests and let them know we have put the school on lock down at least until the end of the school year?"
Minerva nodded. Just then Harry spotted Albus behind them. "Better yet, Professor Snape, would you please escort her?"
Severus nodded and Harry whispered in her ear. She rolled her eyes and nodded. The students watched as the two teachers left. Harry just smiled, and announced; "If you have potions or transfiguration after lunch, please remain behind for a study period. I have a feeling your teachers could be a while."
Draco stood up, "Who's at the door, sir?"
"Minister Fudge, Undersecretary Umbridge and Former Headmaster Dumbledore, Mr. Malfoy."
Most of the school let out a collective eye roll. Hermione stood up, "He is NOT the former Headmaster. You have no right being headmaster when you are not even graduated from Hogwarts!"
"For your information, Miss Granger. The school choose me, and there is no age restriction on becoming Headmaster. As I stated, I am privately continuing my education. I do not go to classes because by Hogwarts charter, no headmaster is allowed in the classroom unless it's an emergency."
Hermione glared at him, "And furthermore, why are those people still here? This is a school, not a hotel."
"They are my guests, and as headmaster I am allowed guests. Now, Miss Granger. Don't you have a charms class to get to?"
Hermione looked around and saw that most of the school had left for classes other than the two groups who were asked to remain.
