In the world, there were a few things that everyone knew that were facts. Mainly that space was infinite, human stupidity was not that far behind, and that most kids hated school for some reason or another.
Though mixing school with superhuman powers does make the experience a bit more exciting, it can't be said that they enjoy it. In Japan, there were a few schools that were tailor made to help individuals become heroes by teaching them the ins and outs of said profession. This held true for one particular class in U.A. High School.
Within one of the classrooms was what some people would call a colorful bunch of hopeful bunch heroes in training with one of the best teachers they could get. Surprisingly said teacher would be described as a black haired dishavened and tired man with bandages all around his neck.
"And that's all for class. You got a few minutes till your next class starts," the homeroom teacher, Shota Azawa, instructed as his eyes drooped. He moved away from the podium near the blackboard as someone opened the classroom door and entered the room. "A bit early, Allmight," the tired teacher sighed a bit tiredly while staring at the smiling blonde hero.
"Even if I am, it shows the kids you should never be late," Allmight boasted in a cheerful manner.
"Why did i agree to this?" Aizawa muttered quietly.
As the teachers talked, the students started to have small hushed conversations with each other ranging from the latest news to what they'll be doing later.
"This new game came out. It's so cool."
"I have some things i need to do before we can hang out."
"We can scout for some girls later."
With a bunch of students talking among themselves there were a few that simply kept to themselves or weren't even paying attention to the others. One individual was doing the latter and just writing some stuff in a notebook while muttering to himself.
"Deku?" a feminine voice whispered.
"Y-yes, Uraraka?" the boy stuttered as he stopped writing and turned to look at the girl that called his nickname. The one who called him was a short haired brunette young woman named Uraraka Ochaco and was one of his friends.
"I was just wondering what you were writing," Uraraka said curiously while craning her neck to look at the notebook in question.
"Oh well I'm just writing down a few notes on some ideas I had for my quirk," Deku aka Izuku Midoriya said nervously while he scratched the back of his head. This wasn't a lie as the green haired fanboy was trying to figure out how to use his quirk correctly since all it did was break his bones with each use. After the attack at USJ, Izuku knew he had to figure out a way around his disability and to not be a burden.
"Ohhh that sounds good. Did you get anything you can use?" Uraraka asked, moving a bit closer to the boy.
"Well it's just speculation and guess work at the moment, but I do have a few ideas that might work," Izuku answered truthfully.
"I'm sure you'll make your ideas work Midoriya," another classmate said from his other side. Izuku turned to look at a bispectical blue haired boy named Tenya Ida, another friend he had in class. "You just need to apply yourself to get results," Tenya instructed in a serious manner he was known for.
"Thank you," Izuku muttered and blushed at their kind yet encouraging words.
"Now then quiet down students. It's time for your next lesson in Heroics," Allmight announced with a hearty laugh and a smile on his face. This caused the students to turn towards their teacher and notice something strange happening in front of them. What they saw was an odd transparent shimmering orb form in front of the blonde hero.
"Is this part of the lesson, sensei?" one invisible student asked. No one could see this student, Toru Hagakure, but they could hear the confusion in her voice.
"...No this isn't," Allmight answered just as perplexed.
"Then what is..," Izuku started to say before the orb lit up causing everyone to raise their arms. It proved to do absolutely nothing as the light blinded them and made them see nothing but a white light as a few cried out in shock.
Unknown to them, the blinding light could be seen but any passing by students whether they're in the hallway or looking up from the sidewalk. As fast as it happened, the light died down just as fast with the classroom having been emptied during the light show.
"...It?" Izuku asked as he lowered his arms before his eyes widened in shock. Everyone from the Pro-heroes to the heroes in training were shocked to see that the desks, chairs, chalkboard, podium and everything else was gone and in their place were just rows of cushy seats and a screen in front of them.
"Senseis? Is this some kind of pop quiz or training exercise? Please tell me it is," a student with blonde hair and a small lightning bolt bang asked.
"I doubt it, pikachu," another blonde growled angrily while his hands sparked.
"Just calm down, Kaminari, Katsuki. It won't do us any good to panic or rush into a fight," Allmight stated as he was still smiling but looked ready to fight as well.
"You think we were captured? Like that smoke guy brought us here when we were attacked at USJ?" a pink skin and haired student asked, the incident in question still fresh in her mind.
"No it isn't. That villain used dark portals and whatever brought us here used a flash of light," Aizawa explained with his eyes darting around as if looking for something.
*crunch*
The students froze at the sound as a chill crawled up their spines.
*CRUNCH*
Everyone including the heroes turned towards the sound, ready to defend themselves if need be. If asked, the students and heroes would admit they were expecting some villain coming to destroy them, a mastermind gloating that they were captured or even just Principal Nezu just messing with them.
The Principal was so scary that even the number one hero Allmight feared him.
Instead of villains or the terrifying principal, there was just a brown haired guy sitting there and wearing a blue hoodie, black pants and glasses. In his lap was a large bowl of popcorn that he reacted into and ate.
*crunch*
"Oh, don't mind me. Please just ignore me and carry on," the mysterious man suggested evenly, not bothered by the class looking at him.
"...What're you doing?" a girl with headphone jacks attached to her ears asked.
"Just watching what you all do, Jiro," the unknown person answered truthfully with a neutral look.
"...Why?" the girl said, shocked that he knew her name.
"Well it's rude for me to butt into your conversation and I thought..," the man said while rotating his wrist.
"I mean why're you watching us?" Jiro asked, not sure what this guy was saying.
"Ohhh, that's what you mean. To be honest I thought you and the class would be entertaining to watch, and to be honest you all don't disappoint," the man answered truthfully once more.
"Entertainment? The fuck do you mean entertainment?" Bakugo snarled in anger as he raised his arm to attack.
"I'll tell you once you lower your hands Bakugo Katsuki," the person stated calmly with a wave of his hand.
"How the fuck do you know my name, you shitty extra?" Bakugo growled angrily to hide his confusion.
"I'll give you my word, I'll explain everything. Just lower your arm and calm," the man said calmly with his expression blank. Everyone waited with bated breath as they watched what the explosive teen would do, to their relief Bakugo did as told but still watched the mysterious man closely.
"You better answer us or else," Bakugo snarled angrily.
"I have no intention of lying. Now that's finished, how about you all take a seat," the man suggested evenly while standing up and stretching.
All the students looked at the seats in front of them and decided to just sit a bit away from their supposed kidnapper. The teachers on the other hand took a few seconds longer to gauge the man and see if he would try something before sitting down as well.
"Now that you're all seated, I can start properly explaining everything to you," the man said, standing in front of the class.
"Excuse me, I have a question," Ida yelled as he stood up and raised his hand up high.
"...Yes?" the man asked curiously with his head tilting slightly.
"We know you'll tell us everything as you said, I believe it would be informative that you tell us your name," Ida said loudly, getting a few people to nod their head at that.
"My name?" the man asked once more.
"Well yeah, we can't keep calling you mysterious guy or something," Denki explained with a shrug.
"Huh, you do raise a point," the man said quietly but still loud enough for everyone to hear. All he did was tap his chin in thought as the others, minus one explosive teen, waited for him to answer patiently. After a few moments, the man looked at them with a small smile and said, "You can call me Trepp, I'm what you could call a higher being, and you'll be my entertainment for now."
"And that's something you'll need to explain. What did you mean by 'entertainment'? Also higher being?" Aizawa asked with his eyes narrowing.
"It's a long and tedious explanation. The short of it was that I've grown bored," Trepp answered flatly with a frown.
"Bored?" Izuku asked while blinking owlishly.
"Yes, bored. You see all I do is just catalog worlds and look into some realities for the hell of it. After a while you just get bored of it and just want something new to spice up your life," Trepp explained monotone like with a shrug. He then waved his arms, the floor rose up and formed a table in front of the whole class. Trepp grabbed something from it and said, "And since I couldn't do much, I decided to leave everything to chance."
"Chance? What the hell?" Bakugo yelled, glaring at the man in front of them.
"Yes, chance. I'm not gonna explain each and every detail but just know I can do more than you know but that would have been dull to decide. Chance is good cause you never know what could happen," Trepp explained a bit amused by the blonde's question.
"So what? Did you write stuff down and threw darts at a board?" a small student with balls on his head asked.
"Sorry to say but i'm pretty good at that," Trepp chuckled while showing them what was in his hand. The students and teachers craned their necks to see he was holding a bunch of dice in his hand. "I basically used these dice to decide what to do, who would do it and a few other stuff," Trepp said as he enjoyed the look of disbelief on the student's faces.
"That's it? You didn't look into some kind of prophecy book, or something,"
"And higher being? You mentioned that a moment ago," a female student with black hair tied into a ponytail asked.
"That's a hard subject to comprehend and explain. To put it in simple terms, I have power and exist outside your own reality with the job or watching the universe as a whole," Trepp said as if he was talking about the weather or something mundane.
After that they could hear a sigh coming from the teachers in disappointment. Aizawa looked at the man and said, "Just because you have a powerful quirk, it doesn't make you a god."
"A quirk?" Trepp inquired, giving the dead tired teacher his attention.
"A power nearly everyone is born with," Aizawa answered.
"Oh those silly things," Trepp muttered with a frown on his face, "I'm gonna stop that line of thinking right there. I have no quirk, I wasn't born in your reality, and what you're about to see will cause you to see everything in a new light."
"You expect me to believe that," Aizawa stated doubtfully while eyeing the man in front of him.
"That depends if you think you can stop me from summoning a certain joke telling woman," Trepp countered as his lips curled into a vicious grin, making the man shudder.
The students and teachers looked at the man curiously as they were wondering what he meant as two certain individuals started to sweat.
"Now who's ready to see some amazing sights?" Trepp asked with a grin on his face.
(break break break break)
So here's the author note for the story so i guess i should introduce myself. I am Treppahcs and I'm the one who wrote this story. I mainly did this cause I like Katana of the Storm's fics and decided to take up the challenge she set out. Which means we'll see more stuff like this. Hopefully i can do this idea justice and be faithful to everything.
For those wondering, this takes place After the USJ incident cause i figured it would be a great place to start.
Also if anyone recognizes my name, yes i am the same Treppahcs that wrote with Deadman on those reaction stories.
So if you all want please Read, favorite, comment and all that. Just no flames please
One last thing, I own nothing. This is a work of fiction. I make no money off of this and do this for fun
