McGee ran through the woods, not having any idea where he was going. He continued to hear chatter going on along with footsteps. As he ran, he fell down a small hill and knocked into a tree. He landed on his shoulder and cried out. He heard a gunshot and looked up. McGee quickly got up and took off.
A bullet went right passed his head. He turned around and a bullet hit the camera he was carrying from being cooped up. He cursed. He aimed the gun he stole and said: "Drop it or I swear to God I will put a bullet through your skull."
By now, his shoulder was on fire. At least, thats what it felt like. He put hand hand to it only to realize that it never stopped bleeding. He had lost a lot of blood and wasn't sure how much more he could lose before he would start feeling it.
Tim watched as his assailant dropped his gun. "Your shoulder doesn't look too good Agent."
"It'll be just fine. Kick the gun over here. And don't make any wrong move."
Tim grunted and as the gun was kicked over and he bent down to pick it up. The attacker kicked his leg into McGee's face and he fell back. The gun he was holding flew a few feet away. McGee had the other gun and pointed it while he was lying on the ground. He shot it but missed, not only because he used his right hand but also because his vision was becoming blurry.
"Come on. Your taking me to your car and driving me into town."
"And if I don't?"
"Then your as good as dead." McGee said as he stood up. "Lets go."
It took a little while before they got to a car.
"Give me the keys."
The guy threw the keys over to McGee. "You won't get far. My boss is looking for you. He knows what my car looks like."
"I don't care. I'm getting out of here and if you try to stop me..."
He got in the driver's seat and drove off. He had no idea where he was but all he knew was he had to get his shoulder taken care of. It burned so he decided to drive with one hand instead of two. He was growing very tired all of a sudden.
His hands were shaky as he dialed Gibbs again. He immediately picked up.
"Gibbs."
"Hey boss. I-Its me."
"You don't sound too good McGee. You alright?"
"Shoulder's not doing very well. I'm starting to not feel very good."
"Probably from blood loss. Were you able to get out of there okay?"
"Yeah. Listen, can Tony or Ziva pull up traffic cams on 38th St.?"
"Is that your current location?"
"Affirmative."
"Get yourself to Bethesda asap. We don't need you keeling over on us."
"I already feel like doing that boss." At a stop light, he opened up his button up shirt to take a closer look at the wound. "Aah." He quietly said but it didn't go unheard by Gibbs.
"McGee? What's the matter?"
"I really don't feel good boss. I feel a bit queasy."
"Stay with me McGee."
There was no answer. Only the sound of a crash.
Sorry guys. Another cliffhanger. Hope you enjoy
