-Somewhere in the Multiverse-

Unnamed City, Unnamed World

The story returns in the unnamed city in an unnamed world and is currently infested with Train to Busan-like zombies. We then head towards a rooftop of an abandoned resort building and inside a dining room of an upper block, we see Rukia Kuchiki having a discussion with two figures.

The first figure is a middle-aged man with tall stature, he had a muscular build and a dark-brown complexion, he had a black semi-afro hair and he had dark-colored eyes. He wears a black business jacket over a black high-collared shirt with a red necktie, black trousers, black leather shoes, a pair of brown fingerless gloves and a black fedora hat on top of his head with a single feather. His most prominent feature is the grayish part on his upper left face fenced by stitches. This is Rikiya Busujima.

The second figure is a middle-aged man with a tall stature, he had a muscular build and a fair complexion, he had a brown slick-back casual hair and he had blue-colored eyes. He wears a blue bomber jacket over a white top, he wears green pants held by a black belt and a pair of black combat boots. This is Bruno Delinger.

"And that's everything I can share to you guys." Rukia concluded.

"Hmm..." Rikiya hummed out loud, "... this situation is a lot complicated than I thought." he admitted.

Bruno rubs the back of his head, "This is way beyond what a police officer like me can do." he shared.

Rukia tilts her head to the right, "And yet both of you had experienced something like this before." she pointed out.

Rikiya tips his hat, "Indeed." he confirmed, "But not to this extent." he countered.

"It was just us back then." Bruno reasoned, "But this time around..." he trailed, "... a lot of innocent people are being involved." he concluded.

Rukia crossed her arms, "And that is why my comrades and I are hellbent in rescuing these people first before we focused our attention to the culprit of this mess." she explained.

"Do you already know who is behind this?" Rikiya inquired.

"We're close." Rukia answered, "We just need a few more details before we take certain actions." she stated.

"I see." Rikiya uttered in acknowledged, "... I want to see things through out this ordeal, so I'll be providing you all my assistance." he offered.

Bruno sighed, "I had nothing to do, so I might as well make myself useful and help as well." he conceded.

Rukia smiled in response before bowing her head, "Thank you very much, Busujima-san, Delinger-san." she expressed in gratitude, "Let's go back and meet up with the others." she beckoned.

And with that, Bruno, Rikiya and Rukia steps out of the dining area and made their way towards the pool area with a bar, and standing next to the pool is a figure.

The figure is a teenage-looking female cephalopod-like humanoid creature with two wide black void-like eyes, her "hair" actually being a writhing mass of tendrils with a large green eye in it, she also has another green eye above her chest and a mouth on her left arm while her right arm is a tentacle. She wears a yellow zip-up hoodie with the face of an emoji on it. She also wears black leggings with many holes revealing eyes, a mouth and other facial features popping out from it, and wears a pair of white & black high-neck rubber shoes. This is Zoe or Z'Gord - Ruler of the Dark Realms.

Zoe then took notice of them, "Hiya, Rukia!" she greeted with a big smile.

"Hey, Zoe." Rukia greeted back, "Trouble while we're gone?" she inquired.

Zoe shook her head, "Other than the mass of un-humanity roaming down the streets..." she mentioned, "... things are pretty calm." she shared, "But Akeno and I are keeping our guards up." she claimed.

"Where is she by the way?" Rukia asked.

"I'm here." a voice answered.

Everyone then looks up to see Akeno Himejima descending down from above while using her wings to glide at the same time and upon touching the ground, Akeno dusted herself while her wings retracted on her back.

"How is the situation, Akeno-san?" Rukia inquired.

"Same as before..." Akeno trailed, "... the streets are occupied by an army of undead." she replied, "I heard from the others that they are taking refugee on higher platforms and are having a hard time rescuing the victims of the bright light." she shared, "Fortunately, we had no reports of any casualty." she added.

Zoe sighed in relief, "Thank, Juan." she uttered out loud.

Rukia thought about it, "We really need to find a way to move around without invoking the attention of the undead." she uttered out loud.

"How about making a makeshift bridge and use it to cross from one rooftop to another?" Bruno suggested.

"If we have enough material that is." Rikiya pointed out.

Bruno snaps his fingers, "Point taken." he acknowledged.

"Another option is to wait for the convoy to arrive." Akeno weighted in, "But that alone will aggravate the undead as well." she admitted.

Zoe rubs the back of her head, "Why can't all zombies be like Ghoulia and the others?!" she complained.

Rukia crossed her arms, "This is a fickle..." she trailed.

"How about using an underground passage way?" a voice suggested.

Upon hearing a new voice joining in their conversation, everyone flinched before looking up toward a balcony where they saw a figure standing there.

The figure is a middle-aged man with a tall stature, he had a muscular build and a fair complexion, he had a short casual hair and a faint facial hair, and he had blue-colored eyes. He wears a black jacket over a white buttoned shirt, he wears dark-green trousers held by a black belt and wears brown shoes. He holds a camera in his hands. This is Frank West.

"Hey!" Frank greeted with a grin.

"Frank West!" Rikiya uttered out the name of the newcomer in surprise.

"You're here as well!" Bruno added.

"You know this person, Busujima-san? Delinger-san?" Akeno asked.

Bruno nodded in response, "Frank West." he uttered the name of the newcomer, "The person who covered the Willamette Incident." he shared.

"Willamette, Colorado." Rikiya muttered loud enough for everyone to hear, "It was all supposed to be covered but West managed to get the story up." he explained.

"I don't know why I'm here or what's going on but I had a feeling that a good scoop is waiting for me here." Frank stated with a thumbs-up.

Bruno rubs the back of his head, "You haven't changed a bit." he commented.

"You mentioned a passage way." Rukia pointed out, "Is it true?" she asked.

Frank nodded in response, "Yup." he confirmed before jumping down from the balcony and landing safely on the floor, "It's how I managed to get from one building to another." he explained.

"Could it be that every buildings in this city had an underground passage?" Akeno assumed.

"I can very much confirm that is the case young lady." Frank chimed in, "It seems the founder of this city had these underground passage ways built as a safe shelter just in case a war broke out or a powerful storm looms over." he explained.

"How did you obtain such information?" Rikiya inquired.

"During my trip in the city library, I came across a journal written by the founder, so I decided to read a few bits of it for information." Frank explained, "Though I do question why such journal is available to read in a public library." he thought out loud.

"Whatever it is, I am grateful at the founder for building the underground passage ways." Zoe expressed.

"Well it is a better option than staying here." Rukia acknowledged, "Please lead us to the entrance of the underground passage way, Mister West." she requested.

Frank nodded in response, "Follow me." he beckoned.

"Kuchiki, Himejima." a voice called out.

Everyone were about to make a move when a voice halted them, they then turns around to see three figures walking towards them.

The first figure is a young man with a tall stature, he had a muscular build and a fair complexion, he had a short dark-brown hair and light facial hair, and he had a dark brown-colored eyes. He wears a black tactical vest over a dark-blue muscleshirt with folded sleeves, he wears a black tactical pants held by a black holster belt, black knee pads, a pair of black combat boots and a pair of black gloves. He wears a headset and a communication device strapped on his upper arm, a pair of black pouch strapped on both of his upper thighs and a single knife holster strapped on his lower leg. This is Chris Redfield.

The second figure is a young woman with an average height, she had a slender frame and a fair complexion, she had a long brown hair tied in a low ponytail and she had blue-colored eyes. She wears a dark-blue catsuit with light-blue orca-like spots and a leotard outline, she wears a black shoulder holster strap and a pair of black straps on both of her upper & lower chest, she wears a black holster belt wrapped around her waist, a pair of dark-blue & light-blue armor on her upper thighs with a black pouch strapped on her right thigh, she wears a pair of black boots with a single knife holster strapped on her lower leg, and a pair of bracelets. This is Jill Valentine.

The third figure is a young man with a tall stature, he had slender yet muscular build and he had a pale complexion, he had a black neck-length messy hair and wears a broken skull on the left side of his head, he had green-colored eyes with small slit-shaped pupils and teal lines which descend from the lower part of his eyes, and he had a black upper lip. He wears a high-collared coat with black linings and interior over a white white with a black sash wrapped around his waist, he wears white hakama pants, black socks and a pair of white slippers. This is Ulquiorra Cifer.

"Cifer-san." Rukia uttered the name of one of the newcomers.

Frank then let's out a whistle upon recognizing two of the new arrivals, "Hey look." he beckoned, "It's Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine." he pointed out.

Rikiya tips his hat, "I'm quite surprise to see them again, I'll admit." he admitted.

Jill then recognized Bruno, Frank and Rikiya, "Are those Bruno Delinger, Frank West and Rikiya Busujima?" she pointed out.

"Indeed they are." Chris confirmed, "I assume the ladies with them are your comrades." he assumed.

Ulquiorra nodded in response, "Yes, they are." he confirmed, "Do you believe me now?" he beckoned.

Jill sighed in response, "We apologize for doubting you." she apologized, "But your appearance is just..." she trailed.

"... strange?" Ulquiorra concluded, "Don't worry, I get that a lot." he reassured before pointing a finger at Zoe, "But compare me to her appearance, I look pretty normal." the espada stated.

Zoe then does a cute pose, "But I'm cute though." she said with a grin.

"Sure you are." Ulquiorra uttered in response.

"Anyways..." Chris chimed in, "... my name is Chris Redfield and this is my partner, Jill Valentine." he introduced himself and his companion, "And both of us are members of the BSAA." he shared.

"Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance." Jill spelled out loud.

"Greetings, Redfield-san, Valentine-san." Rukia greeted them, "I assume that Cifer-san had given you the details of the current situation?" she pointed out.

Chris nodded in response, "Indeed, he had." he confirmed, "Not the first time that we've been in a situation like this but it's still an unpleasant experience." he stated.

"If you don't mind, we would like to assist you all in this mission of yours?" Jill offered.

Rukia nodded in response, "Much appreciated." she accepted.

"I noticed that you were about to leave when I called you out." Ulquiorra pointed out, "Are you heading out of this building?" he assumed.

"Yes." Rukia confirmed, "Mister West found an underground passage way that is linked towards every buildings in this city." she shared, "I say we head out now, so we can continue on with our tasks." she beckoned.

"Is that so?" a slightly booming voice interrupted, "If you don't mind..." it trailed, "... may I accompany you all?" it asked.

Everyone then turns around to see another figure walking towards them and Bruno, Chris, Frank, Jill and Rikiya's eyes widen upon recognizing the figure.

The figure is an old man with a very tall stature, he had a large muscular build and a tanned complexion, he had a grey half-bald spiky hair, he had a grey mustache and he had brown-colored eyes. He wears a grey tattered gii with a red belt wrapped around his midsection, he wears a grey baggy pants and is barefooted. Both of his forearms are wrapped in white bandages. This is Heihachi Mishima.

"Greetings!" Heihachi greeted with a big grin on his face, "I am Heihachi Mishima." he introduced himself, "And I'm the founder of the Mishima Zaibatsu." he added.

"Heihachi Mishima..." Chris uttered in shock, "... this can't be possible!" he exclaimed.

"Last time we've heard of you..." Jill trailed, "... you died." she revealed.

"Me?" Heihachi squawked, "Dead?" he squeaked, "I'm not dead!" he argued, "Why do you think that I am dead?" he questioned in confusion.

"Because news of your death in the hands of you own son, Kazuya Mishima, had been spread all across the world." Frank explained.

"My own son killed me?!" Heihachi exclaimed in disbelief, "My son would never do that!" he argued, "My son and I are really close!" he shared, "We even went fishing this past weekend." he added.

Bruno rasied an eyebrow, "Uhh..." he trailed, "... is it me or is he acting kinda different?" he questioned.

"I was thinking the same thing." Rikiya said in agreement.

"What the heck is wrong with you, people?" Heihachi asked, "This is my first time meeting you all and you're all saying nonsense towards me!" he complained.

"What do you mean by that?" Jill questioned back, "Quit foolin' around, Heihachi!" she admonished, "We've made encounters with each other several times before, so you're not gonna fool us!" she declared.

"Just tell us how are you alive?!" Chris demanded.

Heihachi raised his hands up, "I swear I don't know you people!" he insisted, "And I'm not dead!" he added.

As this is going on, Rukia watches the argument go back and forth when her eyes widen in realization, she then quickly steps in.

"Hold on, everyone!" Rukia interrupted, "I think I may have a slight idea of what's going on." she claimed, "But I need to confirm things first." she said before turning to Chris, "What do you guys know of Mishima-san?" the shinigami inquired.

"Heihachi is a clever, shrewd businessman, who is charismatic and excellent at manipulating others." Chris begun, "He has a sense of humor that is often sadistic, and others sometimes find it hard to tell whether Heihachi is joking or being deadly serious." he shared.

"Heihachi has a noticeably cruel streak, from throwing his five-year-old son off a cliff, to ordering the assassination of his former employees." Jill listed off, "He imprisoned his father for years until he finally starved to death, killed his wife, shot his grandson, and frequently resorts to kidnapping, assassination, and physical intimidation." she furthered, "Both Kazuya and Lee, Heihachi's adopted son, bitterly resent him, suggesting he was also cruel to them in their childhood." she added.

"Heihachi has an insatiable desire for power, which has included plans for world domination, enhancing his own power through genetic experimentation, and trying to attain eternal youth." Frank concluded.

Heihachi blinks his eyes a few times in utter shock and confusion, "Wow..." he uttered out loud, "... I oughta sue you all for defamation with those accussations." he stated.

"Are what they're saying is true, Mishima-san?" Rukia inquired.

"Hell no!" Heihachi exclaimed in denial, "Everything they said about me is not true!" he insisted, "I never imprisoned my father, killed my wife nor thrown son off a cliff!" he listed off, "Though I do admit that my sense of humor is borderline sadistic." he admitted, "But other than that..." he trailed, "... I'm nothing like they all claim!' he decared, "And I love my family including my adopted son!" he concluded.

Rukia crossed her arms, "I see..." she trailed, "... then I guess that confirms my assumptions." she concluded.

"What is it?" Zoe asked.

"This person in front of you is not the Heihachi Mishima you know but actually a mirror version of him!" Rukia declared.

"What?!" Bruno squawked in shock.

"That explains some things." Ulquiorra admitted.

"It does makes sense though." Akeno added.

"Mirror version?" Heihachi muttered, "You mean..." he trailed when his made went wide in realization, "... I'm like a good version of an evil version of me!" he described with a finger pointed at himself.

"Judging from how they described the Mishima-san they know, I'm inclined to believe so." Rukia confirmed.

Heihachi then placed a hand on his forehead, "Wow..." he uttered out loud, "... this is a lot to take in." he admitted.

"Are you sure about this assumption, Miss Kuchiki?" Jill asked, "What if he's just faking it?" she considered.

"Maybe so." Rukia acknowledged, "But we can confirm that once we head back to the AWA Academy." she said, "For now..." she trailed, "... I implore that we accept Mishima-san to come with us." she beckoned, "Is that alright with you, Mishima-san?" she asked.

Heihachi nodded in response, "Good enough for me." he accepted with a thumbs-up.

"Alright!" Rukia begun, "Please lead the way, Mister West." she beckoned, "We better make haste before something-" she was trying to say when all of a sudden a grey-colored swirling vortex materializes from above, "... happens." the shinigami concluded.

"Oh, come on!" Zoe complained in annoyance, "Why do we always get interrupted when we're about to leave?!" she exclaimed in disbelief.

"What the heck is that?!" Rikiya exclaimed.

"A grey portal?" Ulquiorra uttered out loud before taking a step forward, "Be careful everyone!" he beckoned, "That's an unstable portal!" he pointed out, "It could drop down something dangerous!" he exclaimed in assumption.

Everyone then got themselves ready for a fight but to their surprise, the portal drops a figure instead of a hostile entity and the figure is none other than Chizuru Tachibana.

"AAAAAAAAHH!" Chizuru shrieked like a certain sponge while falling down towards the pool.

Akeno gasped, "C-Chizuru-san?!" she squawked in surprise.

"How the hell did get himself into an unstable portal?" Zoe questioned in disbelief.

"A friend of yours?" Jill inquired.

Rukia nodded in response, "Yes." she confirmed, "And one of the most well-known members of the AWA." she added.

While falling down, Chizuru kept on screaming until he fell into the pool while creating a big splash, he then came out of the water with his head jerked backwards and his hair making some whipping noise, he then let's out a few coughs before his face morphed into a frown.

"I've been absent in this fic for a year now and I can't believe that this is how I get reintroduced back." Chizuru grumbled in annoyance.

"Chizuru-san!" Akeno called out.

Chizuru turns his attention towards everyone, "Well, at least, I'm not alone this time around." he acknowledged before swimming towards the surface and then meeting up with the rest.

"Surprised to see you here, Chizuru-san." Rukia greeted, "But what happened and you got yourself into an unstable portal?" she asked.

Chizuru adjusted the hood of his jacket, "My group and I just concluded our mission and are on our way back to the AWA Academy when all of a sudden that motherfucking unstable portal caught me while I was about to grab me portal device, and the next thing I know I fell into a swimming pool." he explained, "Jesus Christ!" he cursed out loud, "And here I thought I can finally take a break after working for who knows how long." he grumbled in annoyance.

Zoe flinched in response, "Ouch." she yelped, "Well..." she trailed, "... since you're already here." she pointed out, "Wanna help us out?" she requested.

"We are having a bit of a trouble here." Akeno admitted.

Chizuru raised an eyebrow and began to hear faint zombie noises coming from all over the city, he then facefaulted in annoyance, "Alright, alright!" he conceded, "I better be paid handsomely because I'm pretty much overworked right now." he beckoned.

Rukia chuckled nervously, "We'll try and remind the higher-ups for that." she replied.

Everyone, sans Chizuru, then began to look around to see for any signs of another interruption, "We're good to go?" Zoe asked.

"I think we're good." Chris confirmed.

"Then let's move out." Rukia beckoned.

Meanwhile at the tallest building in the middle of the city, we head towards the rooftop where we see a figure standing near the edge while looking over the city.

The figure is a young woman with a short stature, she had a petite appearance and a fair complexion, she had a neck-length blue green hair held in a bun by dark-blue ribbons with one side sporting a skull pin and a pair of long front locks, and she had orange-red eyes. She wears a dark-blue frilled choker over a dark-blue wide collar with black frills and a skull button, she wears a dark-blue dress with a blue-green & black butterfly design with blue-green & black butterfly ribbon on the back a over a black pleated skirt, she wears a pair of dark-blue detached sleeves with sharp ends and frilled bands, and black high-heeled shoes with dark-blue laces. This is Rushia Uruha.

Rushia is sporting dull souless eyes with tears streaming down her face, "Why..." she sobbed, "... why?" she asked, "I know what I've done is wrong and I deserve the comeuppance but..." she trailed, "... why I do I had to bear this overwhelming loneliness?!" she cried out loud with her eyes glowing red.

Back on the streets, numerous zombies would shot out from ground, moaning and groaning while looking for something to satisfy their hunger.

Back on the rooftop, Rushia fell down to her knees and kept crying nonstop, "I don't want this!" she wailed, "I don't want to be alone!" she roared in agony, "It hurts!" she cried, "Please..." she sobbed, "... somebody save me..." she pleaded in utter despair.

In a safe room somewhere inside the Mount Massive Asylum for the Criminally Insane, we see Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya, Kyoutarou Suga and Takeru Ooyama busy explaining to Andrea St. Clair, Emma Mata, Mia Clark, Olivia Harrow and Stephanie Buckland about the current situation and other details while Buccaneer "Buckles" Murphy, Gillian "Gill" Norman, Dean Venable, Dottie Rae, Ethan Hackney and Zobo stood by the sides.

"And that's about it." Davis concluded.

"A-Are you serious?" Andrea questioned, "Y-You're not making those up?" she accused, "Those are real?" she concluded.

"Well..." Takeru trailed, "... you've been chased by a number of insane people that are more than ready to tear you part, so I'm pretty sure that everything right now is real." he stated with a blank look.

"This is..." Mia trailed, "... a lot to take in." she admitted.

"It feels like something whenever Emma is high on cheese." Stephanie described.

"I don't do something like that." Emma denied, "Do I?" she asked in confusion to which Ethan snickered from the back.

"Is that how you guys are able to travel from Japan to Heartlake City so easily because you use a portal?" Olivia summarized.

"Pretty much." Kyoutarou confirmed.

Suddenly, Olivia grabbed Davis by the hems of his jacket before pulling him close to her face while giving him an intense glare, "How come you never told us of this?!" the bespectacled girl demanded rather angrily.

"Y-Y-Y-You never asked..." Davis stuttered in response.

And with that, Olivia started to strangle Davis.
