Ben's battle with God Serena continued, although they were just staring at each other now after God Serena created the massive hole. God Serena is looking at Ben with a pissed off expression after Ben mocked him. He likes to look down on others, but in this case he is the one being looked down on.
"Come on, show me your capabilities, God Serena. If it's just this much, then you will be slain by dragons instead of slaying them." Ben said as he floated above the hole.
"Bastard, I swear I'll kill you." God Serena said as he prepared another spell.
"DRAGON GOD FANG!" God Serena shouted as he released a lot of magic power.
The ground around God Serena shakes and then eight elemental dragons come out of the ground. These dragons were just energy created by God Serena's eight Dragon Slayer Magics. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Diamond, Light and Darkness.
The dragons are long like snakes but have dragon heads, so they are like east Asian dragons. They all move towards Ben to attack him as he still hasn't moved. Ben just watched as the dragons move towards him at high speed.
Then he suddenly smirked, "What an interesting spell. I like how flashy it is."
When the dragons almost hit him, Ben suddenly moved very fast to evade them. He flashed around and avoided all the elemental dragons. Then after a while he suddenly stopped when the light dragon came.
Ben took the light dragon's attack and God Serena smirked upon seeing that. However that smirk disappeared instantly when he saw his light dragon was starting to disappear. Ben was eating the light dragon like it was normal food.
But then he evaded the diamond and darkness dragons before eating the fire dragon. His Sun Dragon Slayer Magic has fire and light elements and it is far superior. So they don't affect him and Ben can eat them to increase his magic power.
He can eat the lightning even though it's not one of his elements because it's close to fire and light. It's just like how he can eat moonlight. But it didn't help him much, so he preferred to ignore it and will only use it if it's necessary.
"Sun Devil Death Chains!" Ben shouted as a dark red magic circle appeared on his back.
Ben released 6 massive dark red chains with big, sharp arrow tips made of solar energy from his back. He was just using his Sun Devil Slayer Magic even though his Sun Dragon and God Slayer Magic will have more of a effect against God Serena's Dragon Slayer Magics.
His reason is simple. It's a lot more exciting if he fought using magic with a lower tier than his opponent's magic. Against a arrogant person like God Serena, the most exciting way to win is by using lower-tier magic. Besides, Ben's Sun Devil Slayer Magic is high-tier and powerful enough to be used against Dragons.
The dark red solar energy chains target the remaining 6 elemental dragons. They all clash and 6 massive explosions go off when they hit each other. Both God Serena and Ben are being pushed back by the recoil from their clash.
Ben grinned and thought. 'It seems I can't ignore the difference in the tier that easily. I've used a lot more power than necessary, but I was still pushed back a little. Damn, this is fun.'
This fight was enjoyable for Ben because he doesn't need to worry about anything and can do whatever he likes. He can play around and use destructive spells because he doesn't need to protect anyone or be mindful of his surroundings.
"Good, good, you should at least be this strong to be called the continent's strongest. In terms of raw power, I can say that you are stronger than any mage I've met on Ishgar. Even Gildarts doesn't have any much magic power as you. Though I don't know about your magic and battle skills. It will be very disappointing if you can't utilize that raw power well." Ben said with a grin.
God Serena wasn't pleased that Ben could stop his eight dragon's attacks. He used a lot of power and intended to kill Ben. But he faced his spell head-on and destroyed his elemental dragons with magic chains.
"What's wrong? You need to go pee?" Ben asked with a smirk.
God Serena became even angrier and said, "Your magic is a fire type, isn't it? Then, it must be weak against water."
"Ho, I won't say that you are wrong." Ben said as he saw water spin around God Serena's right hand like it was a tornado.
God Serena smirked and yelled, "Sea King Dragon Encircling Deluge!"
After chanting his spell's name, God Serena fired the water tornado at Ben. Then massive circle of water that spun very fast and has a lot of pressure is moving towards Ben. Ben just smirked and covered his body in dark red solar energy.
The spinning water engulfed Ben and God Serena looked very satisfied now. He's sure that his spell will shred Ben's body into pieces. He even used a lot more magic power than the spell required to make it much stronger.
But then, he saw steam come out of his spinning water and he heard a voice. "Sun Devil Solar Flare!"
God Serena's spinning water was suddenly destroyed by a sphere of dark red solar energy that spun in the opposite direction of God Serena's spinning water. The sphere of solar energy was so hot that it instantly evaporated most of God Serena's water magic. This surprised God Serena and also August who was watching from the side.
Ben dispelled the sphere of dark red solar energy and he just kept floating above the hole. He could use that sphere to attack, but he chose to dispel it and wait for God Serena to attack again. Of course, God Serena knew it too, that's why he is enraged right now because Ben was just toying with him.
"You have more tricks, don't you? Use them all and entertain me. You will regret not using everything you've got when you die later." Ben said smugly.
God Serena was taunted by Ben's provocation again. This guy falls for taunts way too easily and even Natsu would be ashamed. Though, it's probably because his attacks were useless against Ben and he kept poking it.
"Congratulations kid, you've really angered me. Now I will show you how I became the continent's strongest wizard. You will regret being arrogant in front of me." God Serena said as his fangs started growing longer.
His body was beginning to be covered in shiny crystal-like scales like rainbows. All elemental colors of his eight Dragon Slayer Magics are present on the scales. The scales on his arms and legs are spiky like thorns and his fingers turn into sharp claws.
God Serena's eyes are still black and his irises become bright red. The sides of his face are also covered in rainbow crystal scales. Ben knew the scales aren't mere crystals, they are diamonds made from God Serena's Diamond Dragon Slayer Magic.
Ben wasn't worried though. He had a grin on his face instead. "As I expected from a 2nd generation Dragon Slayer. You can use Dragon Force at will because of your dragon lacrimas. Though I must say I'm impressed that you can combine all eight of your Dragon Slayer Magics to make this Dragon Force. I hope the power isn't disappointing."
"So you can still talk big, huh? I'll let it be because you won't be able to say anything else after I kill you." God Serena said with a smirk.
Ben also smirked and flew to a place where he can stand. Floating above the hole will make it harder for God Serena to attack him, so the fight won't be interesting. That's why he moved and he was now standing rather close to God Serena.
"Try it then, I won't run away. Show me your full power and I'll fight you with my all too, maybe." Ben taunted God Serena with his left hand.
God Serena didn't respond and just dashed towards Ben. Both of them throw a punch at each other and their punches clash, creating a shock wave. From now on, it's a real battle.
