August looked at the shocking scene that happened in a flash. He could see God Serena's movements, but he didn't get a glimpse of Ben at all. The only thing he knew was Ben had already changed locations and moved behind God Serena.
God Serena is lying on the ground with blood spreading across the ground. Ben stood there in Devil Force without even looking back. He knew that God Serena was dying behind him and no one can save him anymore.
This surprised August who looked at Ben in astonishment. He had been alive for a long time and had seen a lot of things that others will find unbelievable. Yet, here he is, looking at something unbelievable with his own eyes.
He knew that Ben was being defensive this whole time and just played along with God Serena's attacks. But the moment he chose to attack, he ended the battle with a single move. So August knew that Ben could end this battle whenever he wanted to, he was just playing with God Serena.
His shock didn't end there because then he saw Ben was holding a few things. Between Ben's fingers that were covered in blood are some colorful crystal balls. Those aren't just pretty crystal balls, those are God Serena's eight dragon lacrima.
Ben was ripping into God Serena's body and taking all eight dragon lacrima in an instant. He was so fast he could do it in a flash that no one else could see it. Even God Serena didn't realize what happened right before his soul left his body.
"So you are just this strong, huh, Ishgar's former strongest mage? You should've accepted my challenge 3 years ago. You would've had a chance to win back then. We're past that time though, you've already lost your chance. You said you want to slay Acnologia? Hah, you wouldn't stand against something that only goes in for the kill." Ben said while walking to God Serena's body and returning to his normal form.
Ben crouched down and placed the eight dragon lacrima on God Serena's body. A small white magic circle appeared above each of the dragon lacrima. Then under August's shocked eyes, God Serena's body started to disappear and was sucked into the eight dragon lacrima that became brighter.
After God Serena's body vanished, Ben placed the eight dragon lacrima in his spatial storage. Then Ben looked at August and the remaining soldiers. Some of the soldiers had died when the ship crashed and some died because of the impact from the battle that made their injuries worse.
"You're August, one of the Spriggans, right?" Ben asked while looking at August.
"That is correct." August replied while preparing himself to fight at anytime.
"No need to worry. I won't kill you because I need you to do something for me. Tell Zeref he won't win against Acnologia even if he got his hands on Lumen Historie. A demon shouldn't use a Fairy's Heart." Ben said.
It's a short message, but the impact it had on August was great. From this message, Ben also told them that he knows what they're aiming for and he isn't scared. He is confident that he can handle them even if they come, even if the Alvarez Empire comes.
"The one who will end Acnologia's life is me. If you want it too, I can help you. Just come to me and I'll end those 400 years of life. At least I will end that life fast, but if you go after my people, then it won't be an easy death. Tell all that to that motherfucker and tell your comrades who will watch that recording, they need to prepare to lose everything if they choose to go up against me." Ben said.
August was surprised once again because he secretly recorded the fight. He's sure that his Spriggan comrades won't notice it, but Ben noticed it even though he was fighting someone of God Serena's caliber.
'Such a dangerous man. He's so dangerous that I want to run away instead of fighting him. But I need to gather as much information about him as possible for His Highness.' August thought.
"So you just came here to stop God Serena who was defecting to the Alvarez Empire?" August asked.
"Yeah, and I also want to see how strong the Spriggans are. If you all are just as strong as that Jacob guy, then I am disappointed. Sure, you're stronger than the Ten Wizard Saints, but I can take you on all alone, so it doesn't matter. That's why if you want to come here, then you need to get stronger or else you will just come to your deaths. I rarely show mercy to my enemies, so keep that in mind." Ben said before releasing his Majestic Pressure.
August suddenly felt a very strong pressure that pushed him down. It doesn't feel like the gravity had increased because it's not just his body that was pushed down. Even his will, mind and soul are being suppressed. He had learned a lot of magic, but he never knew this kind of magic.
Majestic Pressure is one of Ben's unique abilities that he obtained after mastering all three Slayer Magics. This spell put pressure on the opponent's soul and body. The pressure is strong enough to make even Gildarts kneel and admit defeat as Ben increased the intensity by getting closer.
That pressure comes from the majestic presence that he got from his three Slayer Magics. The Sun Demon, Sun Dragon and Sun God are the top ranks of their kin. So of course, that pressure is overwhelming and Ben who had learned their magic got that presence after reaching a certain level.
His presence alone can put pressure on those with sensitive senses. It also made his charisma soar, but he disliked the attention he got, so Ben always suppressed his presence and only used it like this. He didn't want to overwhelm normal people.
August suddenly felt the pressure increase as Ben walked closer. Meanwhile, the soldiers were laying flat on the ground and had passed out because they can't withstand the pressure. Even August started to go down as Ben got closer to him.
He finally prostrated on the ground when Ben was just one step closer to him. Ben now looked like a king standing before his subjects. The people of the Alvarez Empire will be utterly dumbfounded if they saw this because August was one of the two strongest Spriggans.
"Tell Zeref, no, the Alvarez Empire, that they should prepare to perish if they dare to attack Ishgar. There is no mercy in war, there is only victory and defeat, so prepare thoroughly or you'll regret everything." Ben said as he looked down at August.
August can't say anything because he is being overwhelmed by Ben's pressure. This was the first time he felt so helpless when he's already this strong. His feelings are very complicated now, but he knows he only hopes for one thing, to survive, that's what his instinct keeps screaming to him.
"Then I'll take my leave now. Don't forget to relay my messages. Also, tell Zeref I'm thankful for his presents to me. I'll take good care of these eight dragon lacrima." Ben said with a smirk before he turned into a flash of light and disappeared.
August finally managed to take a breath. He was breathing frantically and his cold sweat can finally come out. As someone who's always prepared to die, August was surprised that he felt relieved that he survived.
"I guess I still want to live, huh? But this is a very big problem." August said as he looked at the state of the battlefield.
There was a lot of destruction, but most of it was courtesy of God Serena. Yet, he lost to Ben, which showed how overwhelming this battle was.
August sighed and said. "There's no use thinking about it. I just need to follow His Majesty's wish even if I'll die."
