Ben returned to Magnolia after officially becoming the 1st ranked Wizard Saint, the strongest God of Ishgar. Magnolia was obviously excited by it and the town held a festival to celebrate it. Although Fairy Tail mages are troublemakers, they are still the pride of Magnolia.
So having one of their mages inaugurated as the strongest on Ishgar surely made them happy. The townspeople are very fond of Ben. He brought many good changes to the town and even made it the safest town in Ishgar.
Even when danger kept coming to the town, it remained safe because of the defense mechanisms Ben set up a few years ago. Well, Ben kept improving the town's defense over the years as his knowledge and power also increased.
Ben even has the confidence that Magnolia's current defense system can even block Acnologia's Dragon Roar a few times. With that kind of defense, Magnolia will remain safe even if all the Wizard Saints came to attack it.
The defense system also works as the town's security system. It is connected to Jarvis, so the A.I can survey the whole town and alert the guards when something happened. Jarvis can even use magic attacks that Ben had programmed into the system to stop the criminals when needed.
Even the royal family was jealous of Magnolia and requested Ben to set up the same defense system for the capital. Ben refused because he can't set up the same defense system to avoid leaking the same A.I system and it was too much hassle.
So instead, he set up a defense system that doesn't require an A.I in the capital. It was enough to protect the capital from most attacks. Even if the Alvarez Empire attacks, it will take time for it to be broken, so it's a great defense.
The celebration in Magnolia lasted for three days because everyone is delighted. Ben also treats this as entertainment while taking a break. He hasn't rested for a while, so this is a good chance to rest from his busy life.
His days returned to normal after that. To his surprise, his new position as the 1st ranked mage in Ishgar didn't affect his life that much. Maybe the other Wizard Saints are being considerate to him, but that doesn't matter because it really helps him.
Ben can now focus on improving his guild mates power. He knew that Zeref was targeting their guild because of Lumen Historie, so his guild mates will need to become stronger because the Alvarez Empire had more power than Ishgar.
"What are you thinking so seriously about?" Mira asked while she and Ben are about to go to sleep.
"Our guild mates progress is good, but their battle power is quite low. Only a handful of us can optimize our power in battles. The others aren't good enough and they often waste their power in battle." Ben answered.
"That just means they need more experience, right?" Mira questioned.
"Yeah, but there aren't enough jobs that can help them. We can't monopolize the jobs or the other guilds and the Council will complain." Ben informed her.
"So you're thinking of how to improve their battle skills without the need to take jobs, huh? Hmm, it will be good if there are a lot of strong monsters for them to fight. It will be better if we can also grade everyone so they will know what they need to improve." Mira said.
"Grades, huh? That reminds me of the Pandemonium event during the Grand Magic Games. The monsters were graded based on their power, so it really looked like a game." Ben remarked before his eyes suddenly widen in realization.
"That's right! I can just make the monsters instead of finding them in the wild." He said as he got up excitedly.
"What do you mean by make them?" Mira asked, confused.
"I can just recreate the Grand Magic Games' Pandemonium using Arc of Embodiment. It will be quite easy because I scanned that building and all it's monsters. The only thing that needs consideration is the magic power consumption. But that's not a problem for me right now." Ben said with a grin.
Mira smiled seeing Ben finally get a answer and then she said, "That's good. Now, why don't you lie down and sleep? You won't let your wife sleep alone again, right?"
Ben stops what he was doing and immediately went to sleep with Mira. He can create Pandemonium tomorrow, but he can't make his wife mad tonight or he will sleep on the couch later. Even the strongest mage on Ishgar is helpless against his wife.
The next day, Ben went to the big river outside Magnolia to survey the location to build Pandemonium. If he built it above the river, then it won't disturb anyone. But he didn't construct it right away because the townspeople would freak out if they suddenly saw a massive building appear out of nowhere.
So he prepared everything he needed first like telling everyone in the town and especially the Pandemonium concept. He doesn't want to replicate the one from the Grand Magic Games. That thing had some flaws if it will be used to train people.
He worked on those things immediately so he will be able to finish faster. He still has other things to do because it's not just his guild mates who need to get stronger. The one who really needed to become stronger was him because he will surely the strongest opponents in the future.
But while he was busy preparing Pandemonium, he received some annoying information. A cult has caused a scene after Tartaros' destruction. Ben was too busy to handle that, so he asked Mira to handle it with his guild mates.
"Avatar has become too large in the last few months following the collapse of the Balam Alliance. So we need to stop their growth before it gets out of control." Ben said.
"Do you mean we need to destroy them?" Mira asked.
"Yeah, you can use any method and strategy you think is best. They have a lot of members, so this will be a good chance for you to improve yourselves by fighting mages. I will wait here and prepare my project while you guys destroy Avatar." Ben answered.
"Is there a time limit?" Erza asked.
"No, but the faster the better. The Council hasn't made a move yet, so this is our best chance to reap everything. I will handle the aftermath, so just do everything you need. But remember, if you destroy villages or towns, that's your responsibility." Ben replied.
The ones that often cause problems look away out of guilt. Ben had cleaned up their messes so many times he had lost count of it.
"Hey, just curious, how long would it take for you to take care of Avatar?" Laxus asked.
"Hmm, I know where all their bases are, so if I calculate the distances, then I think I could finish it in a day." Ben answered.
"All their bases?" A confused Cana asked.
"Yeah, Avatar has a lot of branches all over Ishgar. The one you need to take care of now is the one located in Fiore, the Mikage Branch in Mikage Forest." Ben said.
"What about the other branches?" Freed asked.
"I will take care of them later if they're still around. You need to know that the Mikage Branch is one of the strongest Avatar branches. When you attack them, there is a high possibility that the other branches will become involved, at least the ones in Fiore. So you need to consider that you'll go up against all of Avatar." Ben replied.
They all nod seriously because this was a lot more complicated than they thought. But Ben isn't worried about them at all. Avatar might be big, but it's weak compared to Tartaros. It's just this cult had a lot of members. Although it shouldn't be a problem for Fairy Tail after they destroyed the Balam Alliance which included Tartaros.
