Hey guys, and as always. I'm back with another Episode with Marcus here.
Marcus: Hey guys!
And before you start reading this episode, I've decided to announce a few things.
Marcus: Yeah! Listen to Crest, Guys!
First of all, The Zeno Empire is much more different than the Galactic Federation. While the Federation has that whole species based oligarchy thing, The Empire is the exact opposite. Any sentient species the Empire has under their control have equal rights between different and they treat each other fairly.
Marcus: Which I respect in a very big way.
Second, The Armor the Glidoozes wear is similar to Death Trooper Armors from Stars except the colour scheme is Sapphire Blue.
Marcus: I happened to have one of those as well. But much more different than the original one
and Lastly, I decided that if you guys have an OC Request you want to share for this story. Feel free to PM me and we'll discuss about it. But know this, I will not accept your OC Requests should you post them in the Review Sections.
Marcus: He's right. Cause Crest prefers to surprise his readers than spoil them early on.
So yeah, That is all I need to say and lastly, Enjoy the Episode!
Marcus: Crest doesn't own Rick and Morty. He only owns me!
Marcus' Room (Marcus' POV)
Christmas Eve. It was once a holiday I used to enjoy when I was just a kid. But as time passed, I'd practically didn't care about it anymore.
Instead, I used this holiday as an excuse to take a week off from my work as a Mercenary. But what I do at home during my week off is focus on my college projects, connect with the family for a moment, and lastly is making presents for the family.
Right now, I'm currently sorting out the presents on my bed.
"Okay, There's Morty, Summer, Mom, Jerry, Grandpa Leonard, Grandma Joyce, and lastly is the last-minute guest Jacob," I said, clapping my hands once, "Now let's get these things in the bag,"
After I double-checked the presents, I carefully put the presents inside a large sack and hands it to a robot from my dimensional room.
"Remember, Dummy. You make sure nothing happens to those presents. Am I understood?" I asked, and the robot named Dummy (Iron Man, But the robot is named Dummy not Dum - E. And It's not an arm robot but a full-size robot) beeped several times and I understood what he said,
"Good, Just don't mess up the presents," I said, as I grabbed my laptop, and went downstairs to the living room. Only to find my family, excluding Jerry, engrossed with their devices.
"Ahhhh... The 21st Century. Where people are engrossed over their gadgets in their everyday lives," I muttered, Then I went to the sofa, placed my laptop onto the table, sat down on the in middle between Morty and Summer as they scoot over to give me a space to sit on. I turned on the laptop and started work on some of the college projects that were given to me when Christmas Break started.
Soon, Jerry, who had finished cooking in the kitchen, made his way to the living room and saw his entire family holding their electronic devices.
"Um, Merry Christmas. Hello? My parents are coming over for the first time in years. Can we stow away the gadgets and look alive?" Jerry said, walking to the middle of the living room
"Alive? For your parents?" Beth said, glancing off from her tablet, and I snorted my chuckle while I kept my eyes on the computer screen.
Jerry then walks up to Beth with a stocking and grabs the table of her hands "Hm, Good one,"
"Hey, man!" Beth exclaimed in anger,
"You 'Hey, Man!'. This holiday is about humanity," Jerry said, while places his hand onto his chest
"You know, I thought it was about being born half-god or something," Morty said, still engrossed to his electronic device
"You're close on that one, Little bro," I said,
Jerry facepalm himself and approaches us with the stocking "Whatever. All electronic devices are going in the stocking... Now," Jerry said, Morty, groans as he places his tablet inside the stocking
"Dad, I am not giving you my phone" Summer said, crossing her arms together
"I'm with Summer, and besides I have an important college project I need to finish early before it becomes a problem for later," I said, focusing my project in my laptop
"Put it in the stocking, Summer, or I'm joining Facebook," Jerry said, with a smug grin
Summer gasps and immediately places her phone inside the stock.
Jerry then turns his attentions to me, and this time I got annoyed by it.
"You can join Facebook for all I care, Jerry," I said,
"Marcus, Stocking, now," Jerry said,
"Make me," I replied,
Jerry sighs, gently put down the stocking on the floor, and tries to grab the laptop. But I grabbed his wrist and glared at him.
Beth took notice and sat up from the Recliner
"Jerry, You shouldn't interrupt him when he working for his project in college. Also, didn't you remember that Marcus won the Mixed Martial Arts Championship Last Year?" Beth said while pointing towards a trophy on the bookshelf with a picture of Marcus wearing a martial arts uniform with a black belt on his waist next to it.
"Didn't he send someone in the hospital that one time?" Morty asked,
"Yeah, He did," Summer said, with a smug smirk towards Jerry.
This made Jerry gulp a little and I let go of his wrist as he pulls his hand away from my laptop. But at that moment, Rick enters the house with a hobo wearing ragged and dirty Santa Claus outfit.
"A-Ho, Ho, Ho, Everybody," Rick said,
"More like a 'Whoa, Whoa, Whoa,'. What is this, My parents are coming," Jerry said,
"Calm down, Jerry. This is Reuben, an old friend" Rick said, placing his hand on Ruben's shoulder
"Pearl Harbor," Reuben randomly said,
"I check in on his once a year and give him a little medical evaluation," Rick said, I overheard what Rick had said earlier and decided to close my laptop, and stand up from my chair.
"Aww! Dad, that is so sweet!" Beth said, heartfully
"Yeah, it is. I don't get it," Jerry said, suspicious and confused
"Korea," Reuben randomly said again,
"Don't worry about your C-Christmas, Jerry. I'll be with Ruben in my workshop while you guys are having another day in Phil Collins' proverbial paradise," Rick said, but before he went to his garage. I went to him and asked, "Hey, Rick! Can I help you with your Medical Evaluation for that guy?"
"W-What for?" Rick asked,
"Yeah, Marcus? What for?" Jerry asked while crossing his arms together.
"My college project involves studying a few certain levels of the human body. If I help out Rick on his Medical Evaluation, I might learn a thing or two from him," I explained,
"Sure, why not," Rick said,
"Great! I'll get my laptop!" I said, as I went to the living room, grabbed my laptop, and went to the Garage with Rick.
Rick's Workshop
Once Rick and I entered the garage,
Rick puts Reuben on a chair, sets up a ping-pong table, removes Reuben's clothes, and placed on the ping-pong table while hooking up a heart monitor on him.
As for me, I placed my laptop on a washing machine and went beside Rick.
"So Rick, What have you been working on lately?" I asked,
"Just a little business thing I've been cooking up with a friend of mine?" Rick said, "And by the way, Did you decided to help me just to give yourself an excuse to leave?"
"Yeah, but not only that. I mean what I said earlier and I wanted to learn more in this whole Evaluation of yours," I said,
But before Rick could say anything else, Ruben started spasming out while a few amounts of foam was coming out from his mouth and Rick went to his side as Ruben's heart rate was started spiking up.
"What's going on with Reuben?" I asked,
"Something wrong must be happening inside," Rick said, grabbing a stethoscope-like device and places it on Ruben's chest
"What is inside of Reuben?" I questioned, and Rick answered "Anatomy Park,"
"Anatomy Park? What's that?" I asked,
"It amusement park that Dr. Xenon Bloom and I made inside of Reuben," Rick explained,
"So wait, You and this Xenon Bloom made an amusement park inside a human being?" I questioned,
"Yeah, Is there a problem with it?" Rick asked,
"Nothing, it's just that I'm actually surprised that you made an Amusement Park inside of a living human being," I said,
"True, but right now. I'm detecting a distress call inside of Reuben, I better send Morty there and find out what's going on," Rick said before he walks his way towards the door to get Morty.
"I can join in on this? I'd like to see this Anatomy Park myself," I asked, and Rick shrugged his shoulders.
"Eh, suit yourself. Morty could use some company along the way," Rick said, leaving the garage to get Morty while I followed behind with him.
As we went back to the front door, We saw the entire family laugh with Grandpa Leonard, Grandma Joyce, and lastly was Jacob. Which I know who he was since I received the message from Jerry's Parents.
"Hello, Joyce, Leonard. Hello there," Rick greeted while he said the last part of his sentence to Jacob,
"Merry Christmas, Man," Jacob said,
"Morty, A moment of your time?" Rick asked, and Morty followed him to the garage. Meanwhile, I went upstairs and grabbed a few weapons and equipment from my dimensional room.
I decided to minimize my equipment to ensure no one knows about my weapons. So what I'll be bringing with me is my wrist blades, a belt with a holster, my Blaster Pistol along with a Slugger Rounds.
Rick's Garage
After Rick discussed to Morty about Reuben's bad condition and explained the plan to enter Reuben.
I came back to the garage, with a small bag on shoulders, and both of them noticed me entering the garage.
"Ah, Good. You're here. Now put these on," Rick said, passing me a backpack-like gadget, an earpiece, and a helmet.
"Marcus? What are you doing here, I thought you said that you were doing a project?" Morty asked,
"Well yeah, But if I help Rick out on this. I could use this experience as references for my project," I explained, putting the backpack-like gadget on my back, check the rounds of my Blaster Pistol, wore the helmet on my head, and Rick goes behind me and attaches the tube to my helmet.
"Oh," Morty said,
"So a*burps*anyway, What I want you and Marcus to do is find Dr. Xenon Bloom, He'll know what's going on," Rick said, giving Morty an earpiece, and the same backpack Rick gave to me.
"Uh, w-w-w-where... where do we find Dr. Bloom?" Morty asked,
"In Reuben," Rick said, grabbing another helmet on the shelf
"Reuben, Minne... Minnesota?" Morty asked,
"Reuben on the table, Morty," Rick said, turning Morty towards the said man while attaching the tube from the backpack onto Morty's helmet. "Look, I-I-I-I don't have time for you to wrap your little walnut around everything,"
Rick then pulls out a small platform with a laser hanging above it.
"Just hold your breath until the process is over or your lungs will collapse," Rick said, putting Morty on the platform while I stand onto the said platform.
"What proc-" Before Morty could finish, Rick operates the machine and the laser began to shrink us both while Morty screamed as he shrunk.
When the process was complete, Rick walks up to a small canister, puts it inside a large syringe, and jammed the needle into Reuben's chest.
"Hey, Dad, Where's Morty?" Beth asked, entering the room.
"He's busy..." Rick said, injecting the contents of the canister inside of Reuben.
"And Marcus?" Beth asked,
"He's busy too," Rick said
Inside Reuben
Morty was screaming as we fall from the needle along with the fluid from the canister. As soon as he reached the ground, or what I thought was the ground.
After we landed, I stood up straight and take in the surroundings.
The ground was pumping and the walls were covered with purple-pink vein-like structures. When Morty stands up from the ground, Rick started talking in our earpieces
"Hey, Morty, Marcus. Can you hear me? Head north," Rick instructed, and we did what he told us and headed north
"Rick, where are we?" Morty asked while I was curious as well.
"Depending on my aim, you should be just south at the entrance," Rick said,
"Entrance to what?" Morty asked, and I waited for Rick's reply
"Welcome, You two. Welcome..." Just before Rick could finish his finish. Morty gasped at the sight of what appears to be theme park while I was impressed by the sight of the theme park as I whistled at it, "...To Anatomy Park!"
"It's a little business venture I've been cooking up on the side with Dr. Bloom... an amusement park inside a human body," Rick explained, "Science isn't ch...cheap, This should really help put a dent in the overhead,"
"Oh my god! This is insane!" Morty said,
"I gotta say, Rick. You've impressed me on this one. If you let me in on this project, I would have helped you with your budget problems," I said, look around the theme park.
"Yeah, If I had known about your little favours, you've been doing with your friends. I would have talked you to about this project and have you not screw this over," Rick said, while I smirked at his words
"And take a look at all these rides, Spleen Mountain, Bladder Falls, Pirates of the Pancreas," Morty said, placing through several attractions of the theme park
"You got a problem with that last one, Morty?" Rick asked, feeling insulted all of a sudden,
"Huh? No, no. I'm just reading them out loud in the order that I'm seeing 'em," Morty said,
"Okay, All right. If I sounded a little defensive, It's because Pirates of the Pancreas was my baby. You know, I got... I got a lot of pushback when I pitched it, Morty," Rick explained, "Let's just find Dr. Bloom, All right? I-I'm picking up a distress signal in the liver, Morty. Proceed to the Liver,"
As soon as Rick said that, We ran into a sign that leads to the several attractions and the one we took was The Haunted Liver.
We then found tram that leads to the liver and went it inside it. Then it moves at a very fast pace, I held onto a pole while Morty simply stood in front of the door. But while we waited for the tram to arrived at its destination. Morty decided to start a conversation with me.
"Hey, Marcus. When you said that you could have helped Rick with this, What did he mean about favours you been doing?" Morty asked,
"Morty, Do you remember that I constantly check my phone watch and laptop in case I receive a text message from time to time?" I questioned,
"Yeah?" Morty said,
"That's because my friends intend to call me or text me a favour they want me to do for them," I explain, "Sometimes I accept their favour and sometimes I deny them. But in return, They give me a lot of benefits in life especially money or something else in return,"
"So you're like an errand boy or something?" Morty asked,
"Similar to that, but I get something in return. If I don't, I beat the shit out of them like no tomorrow," I said,
"Cool..." Morty said, looking away from my view since he feels nervous about the last part of my sentence.
And here's the know-how, Marcus intends to pick up a few hobbies of his own when he's got nothing to do. So he decided to study martial arts in his free time and participate in tournaments when he feels like it. He even earned himself a few gold medals, a trophy, and sometimes the respect of his competitors. But sometimes he participates either he feels like it or he wants revenge against a certain person.
One of those competitors used to be Morty's bully in school (Not Frank Palikay) But after his match with Marcus, he ends up in a hospital with the following injuries: A few crack ribs, a broken arm, several bruises in the face and body, and a dislocated jaw which required several months of recovery. But if he were to face someone without any rules or refs to stop him, he would have beaten that person into a coma or to death if he wanted to.
"Arriving at Liver," A Female Voice announced, once the tram stops. Morty gets thrown forward and hits his head on the door, "Mind the gap,"
Once we stepped out of the tram, Our cheerfulness from before had changed when we were at the darkest and misty part of the park.
I was unfazed by this since I've seen worse during his jobs from other galaxies or planets while Morty thought otherwise as he stays behind me
"It's really scary in here, Rick," Morty said,
"The liver's under maintenance. Reuben's seen some rough years, Morty. Don't judge. You don't agree to have a theme park built inside you if your life's going great," Rick explained,
As we opened the doors to the haunted house, I was impressed with Victorian Style design of the attraction.
"Hey Morty," I pulled out a flashlight from my bag and handed it to Morty, "Use this,"
Morty turns on the flashlight and we went inside, an animatronic werewolf popped out from behind us and caused Morty to scream and hide behind me while I was unfazed by the animatronic.
"Rick! It's a monster!" Morty screamed, pointing at the animatronic
"No, no, no, Morty. The only monster here is alco *burps* holism. That is an animatronic werewolf" Rick said, and Morty eased up a bit
But around the corner of the wall, a hand grabs onto Morty and a muscular man pins him to the wall.
"Who are you?! Answer me! Where'd you come from?" He asked, scaring Morty completely.
But unaware to man hold Morty against the wall, He hears a gun cocking from behind him and sees me holding my Blaster Pistol towards him
"Drop him!" I yelled, as gave a cold stare into his eyes.
"Our Grandpa Rick sent us here!" Morty screamed,
"Poncho! That's quite enough," An Amoeba man with a cane said,
As soon as Poncho lets go of Morty, I lowered my gun and placed it inside my holster belt.
"Morty, Marcus, That's Poncho," Then two people went beside the amoeba man "This is Roger and Annie,"
"Whoa," Morty said, staring at Annie while I rolled my eyes and placed my hands inside my pockets.
"And I'm Doctor Xenon Bloom," The amoeba man introduced, then a small mic comes out from Morty's helmet
"Hey, Bloom, it's Rick. What the hell is going on here?" Rick asked, through the mic
"I don't know why, but the entire security system has shut down, and I'm afraid... the exhibits are unlocked," Dr. Bloom said,
"Exhibits?" Morty questioned,
"Anatomy Park's greatest attraction isn't the music, or the food, or the... Pirates of the Pancreas," Bloom explained,
"Watch it," Rick shortly interrupted,
"It is, first and foremost, a living museum of humanity's most noble and ferocious diseases," Dr. Bloom finished,
"Diseases?" Morty questioned, then we heard a loud screeching from behind
"What the hell was that!" I yelled, pulling out my Blaster Pistol from my holster.
"Hey Doc, I got news for ya. Your living museum is officially a wild safari!" Poncho shouted, putting out his assault rifle and started shooting at a large-fanged creature.
"Hepatitis A! Run!" Roger yelled, and we all started running away from the creature as it chases after us.
Poncho and I continued to shoot at the creature to slow it down, But it was catching up on our tail.
I reloaded my pistol with slugger rounds, inserted a thermal battery to it, charge it up, and started shooting at the Hepatitis A. But this time, my shots were causing dents to the creature's skin and it was starting to hurt like a bitch.
Short Timeskip
Poncho and I kept firing at Hepatitis A until Dr. Bloom led us all through a metal door.
"Hepatitis won't follow us to the Respiratory system," Dr. Bloom said, closing the door once Poncho and I were the last one to enter. And Hepatitis A creates a large dent on the door.
We then came across another door which leads to another attraction called Alveoli Forest.
Roger approaches a dial next to the door and noticed the problem.
"That's strange, airflow is down 20%," He said, tapping onto the dial.
"So, the brain isn't getting enough oxygen. That's why security is offline," Dr. Bloom concluded,
"Well, I guess we better check it out," Morty said,
Roger presses a button that opens the door, and all of us entered the Alveoli Forest. Before Roger could close the door, someone ran into the door.
"Wait for me!" A man in a dog suit said, As he steps in with us he took of the dog mask.
"Put that back on!" yelled, which made the man glared at him as he wears the mask again.
"What's up with the dog mascot?" I asked, to Roger.
"It was Dr. Bloom's idea," Roger said, then the group heads towards the handrail, then Roger points upwards and said "If we got up to the Bronchial Catwalk, we could look for a blockage,"
"I'll go," Morty said, and everyone turns to him. Which made Morty awkwardly chuckle as he approached a lung tissue and jumps onto it.
"Don't be a hero, Kid," Poncho said,
"I'm not, I'm doing it because it's fun," Morty said, as he jumps onto another lung tissue,
"Keep it up, Morty! You're almost there!" I cheered, while Poncho cocked his assault rifle.
"We shouldn't be here," Poncho said,
"Whatever you do, do not fire that thing here," Dr. Bloom said, "We must save Reuben, This is my life's work,"
Annie approaches a bronchial tube, touches what looks like a black mass with a yellow pus in the centre. She touches it and the thing inside flinched and screech a little, making Annie startled by this.
"It's alright, My dear. Nearly all human lungs contain a strain of this bacteria, but the scar tissue keeps them..." Dr Bloom poked what looked like a broken tissue by the bronchial tube "... Dormant,"
I knew what this meant and I instantly turn to Morty while shouting "Morty! Get down from there now!"
Just as Morty reaches the catwalk, he saw something drool on the catwalk, looks up and sees several creatures heading towards me.
Morty then lets go of the edge and falls all the way down to the group. I went to him, helped him up, as we rejoined with the group.
"What are those things?!" Morty yelled,
"Tuberculosis... coming in fast!" Dr. Bloom shouted, then Poncho steps forward and aims his rifle at the creatures
"Not faster than a bullet!" Poncho shouted and starts firing his rifle at them. He managed to kill some of them, but he also damaged some of the lung tissues in the process.
"No! Do you know what have you done?!" Dr Bloom shouted, grabbing Poncho and stopped him from shooting.
Due to the damage of the lung tissue, Reuben started coughing which caused a large wave of wind, lifting us from the ground. Once Reuben breathes out, the groups roughly lands on the catwalk again.
"Get to the digestive tract! he's coughing!" Dr. Bloom said, and the group began making a run for it to the door.
But Reuben lets out another cough and the Mascot gets caught in airflow, and Morty and I went to him. I used a grappling shot onto the flesh to act as an anchor while I grabbed onto Morty's hand while he reaches out to the man.
"Don't let me die!" The man yelled,
"You're not gonna die! What's your name?" Morty said,
"My name is..." Before the man could finish, Reuben lets out a loud cough and the strong airflow caused the man to lose his grip on Morty's hand "Alexand...!"
Once the man was gone, Morty simply looked up at the tube while I pulled Morty towards me and rejoin with the others.
"Rick! R-R-Reuben's got tuberculosis," Morty said,
"That's great, Morty! I'll just cure it and then..." Rick was cut off from his sentence and I decided to talk to him
"Rick, What's wrong?" I asked,
"Okay. Well, I can't cure death," Rick said, "This bad, you two. You're trapped in a dead man. Listen, if the situation keeps darkening, do yourselves a favour and pop by Pirates of the Pancreas. Obviously, I'm biased, but I think it's great, Morty. It's a bunch of pirates running around a pancreas. We don't whitewash it either. The pirates are really rapey. The top priority is to get, you know, guys out of there, but I'm just saying, if that becomes impossible, please, you gotta treat yourself," Rick finished and Everyone made separate frowns at this while I spoke out.
"Thanks, Rick. That's some really good advice from you," I said, sarcastically.
"W *burps* Whatever," Rick said,
Timeskip
The group continued walking along the path and we made our way to the food court.
Poncho and Roger were looking for supplies at the Panda Express while Morty noticed something in the air.
"O-Oh man, W-w-what is that horrible smell?" Morty asked,
"You mean the Panda Express?" Bloom joked followed by a few chuckles until stopped "Kidding. I-I'm kidding, The body is beginning to constrict and fill with gas. We're inside a corpse, my boy. Anatomy Park is doomed,"
"Are you serious right now, Dr. Bloom? You're still talking about the park!" I yelled,
"Yeah, Forget about the park, Doctor! How do we get out?" Morty questioned,
"The digestive tract in the evacuation route. Get it?" Dr Bloom said, while I mentally cringed at what he meant "There's an emergency station in the colon with a ray that could enlarge us all," Dr. Bloom finished,
"Everybody, Head for the colon!" Morty ordered and started walking onwards.
"Now I'm taking orders with a 12-year-old boy?" Poncho said, glaring at Morty's direction.
I cleared my throat to get his attention and gave him the 'I'm watching you' gesture before going beside Morty.
"Listen, you two. The scar tissue containing the Tubercolusis was sabotaged. This disaster is an inside job. Keep your eyes on Annie. She was written up several times by her manager at the Churro Stand," Dr Bloom whispered,
I made a thoughtful look on my face since I don't suspect Annie as the culprit of this disaster. But the person I'm more suspicious about is Poncho since he feels like a threat to us all. Then, Roger walks up to us and said, "The Intestines are ahead to the left, then to the right, then to the left, etc."
Roger went on ahead while Dr. Bloom followed him along with Poncho and myself since I want to leave my brother alone with Annie.
"Hey, just so you know. I-I-I'm actually 14. So you know..." Morty said,
"What?" Annie questioned,
"Not 12," Morty finished,
"Okay," Annie plainly said,
"You know because he just said I was 12," Morty said, pointing towards Poncho.
"Oh, Good for you," Annie said, walking ahead of him and went by my side.
"Did he act weird all of a sudden?" I asked,
"Yeah? Why?" Annie questioned
"Oh, it's nothing. That's all," I said, as the group walked their way to the intestine.
Timeskip
The group rode on a boat and it started making our way through the small intestine. The problem is that this was one of the long animatronic singing boat rides that lasted forever. Everyone besides Dr. Bloom was ready on taking their chances with the diseases rather than staying on the boat and listen to the animatronics' endless singing.
"It goes on like this for miles," Roger commented with a frown,
"Then we get to the large intestine!" Dr Bloom said, excitingly.
"*groans in anger* Out of everything that tried to kill me, This is one tortures me the most!" I yelled, trying to my absolute best to ignore the endless singing. But due to the helmet, I'm wearing. I can't even cover my ears to block out the music.
Then we suddenly hear growling beneath the digestive juices, and Poncho searches the surroundings with his flashlight.
"Shh! I hear something," Poncho said, then suddenly a large creature emerges from the digestive juice and roars at the group.
"Don't move, Gonorrhea can't see us if we don't move," Dr. Bloom said,
Gonorrhea roared once again and approaches the group.
"Wait, I was wrong. I was thinking of a T-Rex," Dr. Bloom said, and Poncho tried to aim his rifle at the creature.
But the Gonorrhea dives back down to the 'water' and caused the boat to tip over. Once we emerged from the 'water' Poncho yelled out "Move!"
As we swam our way ashore, Gonorrhea emerges again and destroys the boat.
"We're sitting ducks!" Annie shouted,
"Doc, didn't you say the body was filling with gas?" Morty questioned, and I instantaneously get what he's talking about.
"Yes, Why?" Dr. Bloom questioned,
"Kid, You're a genius," Poncho said, pulling out a match
"Are you mad?!" Dr Bloom exclaimed,
"Everyone, Run here!" I yelled, running towards a large opening while the rest followed me,
"Hey, Gonorrhea! How's this for a burning sensation?" Poncho said, lighting the match and throwing it in the direction of Gonorrhea.
The gas was soon ignited by the match, and explode with the Gonorrhea caught in the middle. Charing up the Gonorrhea completely and dies as it fell into the 'water'.
Annie smiled at this and hugged Morty as he laughs with content. As for the rest of us, We smiled at Morty's achievement and continued making our way to the Colon on foot.
But along the way, I caught Morty into a playful armlock and started ruffling his hair a bit.
"That was some fine observation, Little brother!" I said, proudly to him
"Thanks, Marcus," Morty said,
Timeskip
After several hours of running. We finally reached the emergency station in the Colon and Roger started working on the controls of the growth ray.
"I should be able to access the backup generator to get the growth ray online. If it works, We'll be regular-sized in a few minutes. I just hope Reuben's not in a room with white carpets or upholstery," Roger said, working on the control panel.
But soon, we hear a loud creaking noise that kept us on our toes.
"What the hell is that?" Poncho asked,
"The Sphincter Dam. We built it when Reuben became incontinent, but it was not designed to hold a corpse load," Dr. Bloom pointed out,
"I've almost got it. Everyone, move inside the circle," Roger said, pointing at the platform.
But Morty got distracted when something popped out from Poncho's backpack.
"Poncho? What is this in your backpack?" Morty asked,
Poncho turns to him, and Dr. Bloom saw and recognized the creature inside Poncho's backpack.
"That's Bubonic Plague! What are you doing with that, Poncho?" Dr. Bloom asked, and without hesitation, Poncho grabs Annie hostage, with a knife on her neck.
"Everybody, get back!" Poncho shouted,
"Poncho, you son of a bitch! you released the Tuberculosis so you could steal from me?" Dr. Bloom said,
"That's right, baby. A lot of people would pay top dollar to decimate the population. I'll take the highest bidder... Al-Qaeda, North Korea, Republicans, Shriners, balding men that work out, people on the internet that are only turned by cartoons of Japanese Teenagers..." Poncho explained and made Morty and Dr. Bloom frown at him, "Anything is better than working for you, you pompous, negligent, iTunes-gift-card-as-a-holiday-bonus-giving mother-"
Before Poncho could finish monologuing, Morty cuts him off as he cries out and jumps onto Poncho's face and tried punching him a few times. But the former easily grabbed Morty and threw him off. But without warning, A gunshot was fired and grazed Poncho's right shoulder as he groans in pain and holds onto his bleeding shoulder.
Everyone turns to the source of the gunshot and they saw me, aiming my gun at Poncho.
"I knew you were the one who caused all this, I just need confirmation of my suspicions towards you," I said,
"How did you know?" Poncho asked, still groaning from the pain.
"It's simple really. When Dr. Bloom mentioned that the scar tissues were sabotaged in the bronchial tube, I had my suspicions when you started firing your rifle at the Alveoli Forest despite the risk of getting sucked in by the strong airflow from the respiratory system. But when I connected the dots together, you intentionally shot at the lung tissues and used the Tuberculosis as a diversion to cover up your true intentions," I explained,
"And why didn't you say anything about it," Poncho asked,
"Because... I don't like jumping into conclusions so quickly," I said, about to pull the trigger.
But the Bubonic Plague pops up behind Poncho's right shoulder and bites onto his grazed shoulder. Causing him to yell and groan in even more pain.
"Ahhh! Get it off!" Poncho said, and I took the opportunity to charge toward him
"Have a nice flight, Bitch!" I yelled before kicking him off the platform as he fell down from the handrailing.
The group watched Poncho fall to his death. But they suddenly hear the Sphincter Dam making a much louder creaking noise and it wasn't going to last much longer.
"You guys!" Annie screamed, pointing at the dam
"It's gonna burst! Go, go, go," Roger yelled, pointing towards the exit.
Roger stayed behind and pulled the lever that opens the exit. But before he could rejoin with the rest. His foot was stuck under the panel.
"My foot is stuck!" Roger yelled,
"No!" Annie screamed, trying to go back and help him. But was pulled back by Morty.
"It's okay! It's okay! Just go. Tell my family I love them. They may be hard to find 'cause my wife kept her last name and she made the kids take it, too, so, I-I don't know, you can-" Before Roger could finish, the Sphincter Dam bursts and Dr. Bloom closed the door.
"No!" Annie yelled at the door and started crying as she pulled Morty into a hug.
I sighed terribly at Roger's death, Even though I just met him today. I still felt bad about it.
"Let's get a move on already, It's not safe here," I said, leading the way as the rest followed.
Short Timeskip
After several minutes of walking, We reached what appears to be movie theatre where a Reuben animatronic introduced himself and Anatomy Park
Annie and Morty weren't paying attention as the two were having a make-out session.
I decided to ignore them and started eating large cartons of ice cream alongside Dr. Bloom.
"Morty, you want to put it on mute or something? I'm... I'm trying to concentrate here," Rick said, in the mic of Morty's helmet
After Rick's interruption, The two couple continued their make-out session. But suddenly Rick spoke up again
"Hey! Can you get to the left nipple?" Rick asked, through the mic
"Are you kidding? I'm hoping I can get to both of 'em, Rick" Morty said, while I groaned a bit, stood up from the chair, and grabbed the helmet.
"Rick, Tell me the plan. Morty is currently preoccupied at the moment," I said,
"Okay, Marcus. What I need you and Morty to do is get to Reuben's left nipple," Rick said, and suddenly the group's surroundings started to shake violently while the flesh on the ceilings was starting to decay.
"We need to get to the left nipple," I said, putting Morty' helmet on top of his head. While Annie and I put on our own helmets.
"The body is decaying! The arterial transit system is useless! We could try the surface shuttle. It's connected to the skeletal system. That's why we call it the bone train," Dr. Bloom explained, then he suddenly gets a coy look on his face as he went to Annie's side "Would you like to ride the bone train, Miss?"
"If it'll get us out of here," Annie said, then Dr. Bloom went to Morty
"How about you, Morty? Would like to ride the bone train?" Dr. Bloom asked, and Morty lightly shoved him.
"Why are you doing this bit? We're gonna die! Let's go!" Morty said, walking out while Dr. Bloom turns to me but I simply pulled hand up
"Don't even think about it, Dr. Bloom. Let's just focus on getting the hell out of here," I said, following Morty and the rest followed us from behind
Short Timeskip
We've reached the surface shuttle. Cause I refused to call it the bone train due to my annoyance with the term.
Bloom was checking the controls of the train.
"There's no autopilot, One of us has to stay here and operate it manually," Dr. Bloom said,
"I'll do it," I volunteered, which completely shocked Morty
"Marcus! W-Why are you doing this, Can't you just-" Before Morty could finish his sentence, I simply reassured him by saying "Morty, I just going to let you in on a little secret. But I've been in these situations before and I've pretty much got out through all of them. So you don't have to worry about a thing with me,"
"What do you mean by that?" Morty asked,
"I'll tell you once this is all over. Now get to the train," I said, but soon we heard a few hissing noises coming from the stairwell and saw a swarm of creatures approaching us.
"What the hell is that?" Annie questioned while pointing at the creature
"E. Coli Outbreak!" Dr. Bloom said,
"Get in the goddamn train!" I shouted as the three entered the train while I operated the controls manually. But I soon noticed something off about the control panel.
"Wait a minute, there is an autopilot in this thing. Why would-" Before I could finish my sentence, I facepalm myself for not noticing sooner "Great, If I were sacrificing myself for real. I would have died for nothing!"
Before the E Coli could swarm around me, I pulled out my wrist blades and started mowing down a few of them before firing a grappling shot at the train.
As the train left the station, I reeled myself near a window, broke the window with my fist, and Morty sees me hanging outside the train.
"Marcus!" Morty yelled out,
"Pull me in!" I shouted, and Morty reaches out for my hand then pulled me inside the train with the help of Annie and Dr. Bloom. As I sat on the ground, I took a moment to catch my breath. But Morty decided to speak up for a bit.
"You made it!" Morty said, but I wasn't alone when suddenly, one of the E. Coli tried to burst through the window behind me and caused Morty, Annie, and Dr. Bloom to scream. But as for me, I simply pulled out my Blaster Pistol and shot at it without giving a single glance at the creature.
"Whoa..." Morty said, surprised while I stood up from the ground.
"Morty, Get the Fire Extinguisher! We still have a few hitchhikers on the train," I ordered, and Morty grabs the extinguisher. Then One of the E. Coli tried to break through the door. But Morty kills it by bashing its head several times with the fire extinguisher.
Meanwhile, I started mowing down the E. Coli from the left side with my Blaster Pistol.
"We're in the Areola, Rick. Almost to the nipple, but we're also in a really bad situation!" I said, through the earpiece
"I'm almost there!" Rick said,
Then the group made their way to the front of the train while Morty and I kept the remaining E. Coli at bay. But just ahead of us was just one problem.
"Oh my god! The Track!" Morty yelled,
"It's Hepatitis A!" Annie shouted,
"It must have followed us!" Dr. Bloom shouted,
"Morty, Pull the brakes!" I yelled, and Morty quickly grabs onto the brakes and pulled them as he started screaming.
The train's wheels started screeching through the rails as it tried to stop. But instead, The train ends up jumping of the track.
"Brace for impact!" I yelled, as the train breaks through a wall of flesh, and throws all four of us were thrown off the train after it bumped into a rock-like flesh.
As Morty, Annie, and Dr. Bloom stood up from the ground. They got an unexpected yet beautiful view outside.
"The nipple hole," Annie said,
"It's beautiful," Morty said,
"It is indeed," Dr. Bloom commended,
But as I got up from the ground, I was about to say something to them. But we suddenly hear the top of the train being ripped open and Hepatitis A breaking out from it.
"Why can't that thing just take a hike!" I shouted, and all four of us continued to run. But Hepatitis A was closing in on us fast. But before it could get the chance to grab one of us. Another creature appeared out of nowhere and snatched Hepatitis A by the neck.
"Whoa! It's Hepatitis C!" Annie yelled, and strangely enough. Hepatitis C gave a thumbs up to us before stomping away with Hepatitis A in its teeth
"Um... wait... Did we have a relationship with him?" Morty asked,
"I think they're just like that? I think they're the good guys," Annie said,
"If there was a line saying 'It takes one virus to kill the other' Then I would have believed that line already," I said,
"I agree with you," Dr. Bloom said,
Soon enough, Rick flew inside the nipple hole, landed the space cruiser, opens the door, and lets everyone in.
"Nice to see you again, Bloom," Rick said,
"Same to you as well, Rick," Dr. Bloom said,
As Rick closed the door, He then flew the cruiser outside the nipple hole and a few seconds later, Reuben's corpse blows up in a loud explosion.
Timeskip
As Rick landed the space cruiser inside the garage. They happen to notice that snow-covered houses and roads still covered in snow but were also covered in blood and chunks of flesh.
"Well... I guess it's back to square one again, Huh, Bloom?" Rick asked as we all went out from the Space Cruiser
"Indeed, Rick. But this time, I'll try to make park much safer than last time, get a more reliable and trustworthy staff, and reopen a brand new Anatomy Park," Dr. Bloom said,
"And... Pirates of the Pancreas?" Rick asked,
"I think it was one of the most underrated attractions," Annie stated,
"Boo-yah! Hold your breaths!" Rick said, putting a helmet on Annie and shrank both her and Dr. Bloom inside a small canister.
"Hey, w-w-what the hell, Rick?! What the hell, man! I liked her! I really had something going there, Rick!" Morty exclaims,
"Yeah, so I heard," Rick said,
"And I saw," I said, putting both of my hands inside my pockets
"You dodged a bullet, Morty... Trust me," Rick leans closer to Morty's ear "Puffy Vagina,"
"W-what's wrong with that? That doesn't sound like a problem to me. I don't know" Morty said, while I rolled eyes, and grabbed my laptop.
Rick pops his head back to the garage door " Come on, let's get some stuffing. I'm starving"
Once we reached the living room, We saw everyone engrossed with their electronic devices.
"Oh, unbelievable. We got... we got a bunch of robot, computer people, sitting around with their faces stuffed into computer screens. Do you realize that Christ was born today? Jesus Christ, our saviour, was born today. Are... are... are.. you people even human? What kind of Christmas is this?" Rick said, trying to convince the family to look away from their electronic devices.
But I had a different thought in mind...
"You know what, I've been through a long and rough day today. So maybe It's time I relieve myself from this stress," I said, placing my laptop on the table, turned it on, opened a certain application, and with a click of a button. Every single one of their devices, except Marcus' Laptop, began to shut down and complaints rained down on the living room.
Then I stood up and said, "Listen up, Family. I've been working hard in the past few days just to prepare a few presents for all of you, and I'm not letting those days of hardcore to come into waste," I said, then I opened another application, presses a couple of keys on the keyboard and in the next few minutes. Dummy gently goes down the stairs carrying a sack filled with presents that bought for everyone.
While I was passing out the presents, I pretended to act like I didn't buy anything for Jerry. But I decided to give him one anyway since it's a holiday and I don't want my mother hating me or anything.
Once that was done, I turned on their electronic devices again, closed my laptop, and was about to leave the living room. Until everyone, including Jerry, said their own form of thanks for the presents.
A few moments later, I left the living room with Dummy following behind me. But as I went upstairs, a smile crept up from my face and I filled to the brim with content when my family liked the presents I gave them.
Short Timeskip (Marcus' POV)
After Jerry's parents and Jacob left the house. Morty remembered something important and went upstairs to my room.
"Marcus," Morty called out, as he knocks on the door a few times, and I opened the door and saw Morty standing of my door,
"Ah, Morty. Come in," I said, while Morty goes into my room, Once Morty was inside my bedroom I locked the door and I pulled a chair for him to sit on while I sat down on my bed.
"Okay, Morty. It's time for you to know a little something about me," I said, before taking a deep breath then huff it all out as I told him "I'm... an Intergalactic Mercenary,"
"Mercenary?" Morty questioned, still a bit confused about it,
"I'll summarize it so that you can understand. I'm like Rick going through other planets, but I intend to go to other planets or other galaxies when someone hires me. There were times I kill other people, I kidnap other people, and sometimes I protect other people even my own clients for that matter," I explained, and this time Morty understood.
"Does that mean all of those favours you've been doing... are actually your jobs?" Morty questioned, and somehow I was impressed that he remembered what I said earlier when we're inside Reuben a few hours ago.
"That's about it, Morty," I said,
"Does anyone else know about this?" Morty asked,
"Just Grandpa Rick. Everyone else is off the table," I said, then I placed my hands onto Morty's shoulders "But now that you know, I recommend that you keep this secret to yourself. Don't tell anyone, especially, Mom, Summer, and even Jerry. Cause not only you will endanger me, But you'll also endanger them as well as yourself. Do you understand?"
"Um..." Morty was in thought for a moment, but soon, he sighed and nodded his head to me, "Alright... I understand,"
"Good," I said, standing up from the bed and approached him, "That's all I need to tell you,"
"Okay," Morty said, standing up from the chair, "Can I go now?"
"Sure thing, Morty," I said, going towards the door, opened it, and Morty walks out the room
"And remember, Don't tell anyone!" I said, before closing my door and proceeded to lie down on my bed.
"Well, that's one down..." I muttered, then I turned to the picture of me with my family on my desk, "I just need to open myself with the rest of them soon,"
I sighed for the last time and looked towards the ceiling.
Unsure of what to do... I decided to wait... For the day they know my secret...
Bonus Scene!
I entered the garage after I've finished my project and saw Rick standing by the phone.
"Hey Rick, Are you waiting for their report or something?" I asked,
"Yeah, and those guys are really taking a long time for it," Rick said,
then at the right time, The phone started ringing and Rick puts it on speaker.
"Hey, Rick, Can you hear us?" Annie asked on the other line
"Loud and Clear, Annie, and I also got Marcus with me," Rick said,
"Good! We're also on with Alejandro, Our Chief Imaginarian," Annie said,
"Hey, Rick. Hey, Marcus," Alejandro greeted,
"Natalie Jacobs and Chris Deseter from Microscopic Marketing, Zack from Organ Concepts, and Jamie from News Media," Annie introduced,
"Hey, Everybody," Rick greeted and the people mentioned from earlier greeted Rick separately, But one thing came to my mind for a bit.
"Hey, Annie. Where's Dr. Bloom?" I asked,
"He's currently working on new attraction projects so he decided that I'd take charge on this call for today," Annie said,
"Oh, Okay," I said,
"So, Pirates of the Pancreas," Annie said, Which caught Rick's Interest
"Yeah. Talk to me," Rick said,
"Dr. Bloom managed to create a replica of the entire attractions with a few minor adjustments. Alejandro tried to make new changes on the attraction, but Dr. Bloom somehow managed to convince him not to," Annie said, which Rick somehow sighed in relief
"That's good to hear," Rick said, then I went towards the phone,
"What about the attraction I requested?" I asked,
"About that, We encountered a few minor problems with the budget for your attraction, Marcus. So we decided to put it on hold for the time being until we could get the proper budget in order," Annie explained,
"You don't have to worry about the budget, Annie. Just put it on my account and I'll handle the rest from there," I said,
"Oh! Then that makes things easier for us," Annie said, "I'll tell Dr. Bloom about it soon. But there are other things we need to discuss,"
After several lines of questioning and answering, Rick and I had finished our discussion with them and the team hangs up after finishing up the rest.
Then Rick got curious when Annie mentioned about my attraction in the New Anatomy Park.
"Hey, Marcus. What attraction did you pitch in the park?" Rick asked,
"A Rollercoaster located at the heart. I called it 'The Heart Stopper'," I said, (This is a challenge to you guys! If you know which series the name 'Heart Stopper' comes from. Try to find out, and leave your answer in the reviews!)
"Huh? Interesting concept you got there," Rick said,
"So those guys are inside me? Building a park?" Someone asked. When I turned around, I saw Ethan on a ping pong table, hooked up to a heart monitor and several other machines.
"Did you seriously make the new park inside of Ethan?" I asked,
"Yeah, Why?" Rick said, grabbing his flask and drinks from it,
"Nothing, It's just weird and all," I said, then I turned to Ethan "As for your question, Ethan. Yes, Their building a theme park inside of you,"
"Cool... and who pays me?" Ethan asked,
That's it for this episode! and instead of Dr. Bloom getting left behind, I decided to change that since Marcus is in this story
Marcus: And not only that, I even requested Dr. Bloom an attraction of my own. Too bad, I won't be able to see the whole thing.
Actually, That is a possibility, Marcus.
Marcus: Really?
Yeah, In fact, Anatomy Park will make another appearance in the next Episode!
Marcus: You mean the episode where Rick and Jerry were abducted by Zigerions?
That's right! and since it only focuses on Rick and Jerry, I've decided to make this one a padded Episode!
Marcus: That's good to hear, I can't wait to go back to the park and try out the rides!
Of course, Man. But that'll have to wait once I start writing the episode. But before we wrap things up, It's time to reply to the reviews for today!
Guest (1): I hope Marcus is a Tony Stark playboy.
I'll try making something out that. But not too much since I'll be pairing Marcus with somebody in the future.
Marcus: Yeah, and by way Crest. You just spoiled something today
Eh... Whatever, It's not like I care about this one
Guest (2): Once again, awesome job, the addition of Marcus' own stories definitely helps develop the character and pad out the chapter length (a good thing since a padded story is better than a short one, especially if it's good padding), also the amount weapons and gear from different franchises is a good call, always a plus to see more variety in tools of destruction. I honestly can't think of many ideas for future use at the moment since the chapter was so well executed, maybe a bit more use of martial arts to add to fight scenes (resident evil vendetta Leon fights are on par with John wick in my opinion) and maybe see more interaction between Marcus and the female's of the multiverse, lots of potential xover chicks. It's a shame that not many people read Rick and Morty fanfics all that much, and it hurts the stories popularity when the review count is low. Nothing to it but to keep trying eh? Always a pleasure to read m8, looking forward to anatomy park chapter.
I appreciate that comment, entirely man. You have my utmost respect for this review.
Marcus: You have mine as well! Readers for Rick and Morty Fanfics are hard to come by despite the Show's popularity.
I think that's about it for now, and once again. I would like to Thank drakin6345 for giving me several more details in the Zeno Empire. and I'll see you guys in the Episode!
Marcus: Stay safe from the Corona Virus! *Leaves*
