Hey Guys! Crescent Rider Here and as for today's Introduction. Ragnar will be the one talking since Marcus is out on the field for today.
Ragnar: Hey Everyone!
And Welcome to Part 2 of Episode 4! Alright! But before we get this show on the road. How about you introduce yourself to the Readers, Ragnar?
Ragnar: Sure thing, Crest. *Turns to the Readers* Hey Everyone, My name is Ragnarous Vex Andrel. But my Friends and Family call me Ragnar for short. I'm also the prince of the Zeno Empire and My Parents are Emperor Vagron and Empress Diolra. I'm also Marcus' Best Friend and one of his most frequent clients.
You know, I kinda want to know how you and Marcus met in the past?
Ragnar: Long Story, But maybe another time. I mean, Don't you usually focus on the chapters you write before you explained more about the future?
Oh, you're right! In this part of the episode. We will be focusing on Ragnar's side and then we'll go back with Marcus after that.
Ragnar: Guess it's time for me to go to the spotlight, Right?
Yep! And as always, Enjoy Part 2 of the Episode!
Ragnar: He doesn't own Rick and Morty, He only owns Marcus.
The Capital City of Ograd (Ragnar's POV)
After going past the Anti-Aircraft Defenses, Most of the Transports have arrived at the capital with minimal or moderate damage. I felt concerned with the ones that didn't make it to the captain, But it all swept away when Marcus reported his rescue with the survivors of the crash.
Upon our landing, I went out of my ship with my escorts by my side and I was greeted by Ikkirian King of the Capital.
He was wearing a tribal headpiece as his crown, a robe that reaches his knees and has white fur lining, a golden chest plate with Royal Family symbol (Two salamanders wrapping around a sword), a sword strapped onto the left side of his waist, has orange eyes with a black slit pupil, and his horns were a bit short than regular Ikkirians.
The Ikkirian King approaches me and bows his head with respect.
"It's good, you've arrived on time. Prince Ragnarous," He greeted,
"The Pleasure is all mine, King Zaxiel," I said, then look at the surroundings and I noticed several Ikkirian soldiers slightly trembling in the upcoming attack.
"I notice that your men are... A bit on edge today," I commented,
"My apologies for all of this. Since we're all up against my kind, The men aren't in high spirits for killing each other in this battle," Zaxiel said,
"When did all of this happened?" I asked,
Zaxiel sighed heavily at the moment all of this happened, but he decided to tell me anyway.
"Well, Several weeks before your arrival on this planet. I've been getting reports that the convoys I've sent were disappearing and several reports of severe damage between neighboring villages," Zaxiel explained,
"What were the convoys carrying?" I asked,
"A few exchanged goods. Even though, The villages outside the capital are independent of themselves. We still trade with them due to some of them being rich with resources, and some of the mayors and his people have become acquaintances of mine for years to come. But as soon as the rebellion came, Most of my acquaintances have decided to move their people to the capital for safety and the rest... Well, You know what happened," Zaxiel explained,
"They joined the rebellion?" I presumed,
"I'm afraid so," Zaxiel replied,
"But why would they side with the rebellion, When it's clear that you've been helping them for all this time?" I asked,
"I do not have the answer. But from what I know, They've been seeing me as a selfish king who's been stealing from them and destroying their land," Zaxiel said,
Something wasn't right. Based on the background given by my father, King Zaxiel is a man who cares for his people and has helped those in need before he was crowned king of Ograd. But before I could gather my thoughts, I suddenly started hearing whistling and one of the imperial soldiers yelled out.
"INCOMING!"
Before we knew it, The Capital was suddenly bombed by an artillery barrage and everyone started taking cover. My Escorts and King Zaxiel then led us to a much more formidable structure and waited for the bombs to stop.
Minutes later, Everyone slowly goes out of cover and looked at their surroundings after the bombs stopped firing. I approached the nearest Imperial Officer with Dezar by my side and the rest of my escorts helping out the wounded.
"What's the status of your men, Major Pithecus?" I asked,
Major Pithecus' armor was custom made by the Empire since he's one of the many Ciancans that joined the infantry corps of the Empire.
"A Few of my men along with a few Ikkirians soldiers were injured, Your Highness. The rest are fine but their morales are shaking due to that devastating artillery barrage.
"I want every wounded man to a nearby medical station and have them treated. As for the rest of the troops, We need to hold the line while I contact Marcus to deal with those artillery guns and Commander Zax to bring in some reinforcements," I instructed,
"Yes sir!" Pithecus said as he salutes me before giving out orders to his men.
Then I started contacting Marcus through my transmitter.
Marcus' Location (Marcus' POV)
Captain Aphiron's men and I were cautiously passing through a settlement. Until I heard my transmitter picks up a message. I stopped moving and Captain Aphiron went towards me.
"Why did you stop, Commander?" She asked,
"I'm picking up a transmission from Ragnar," I said, then patched it through, "Ragnar, What's seems to be the problem?"
"Marcus, My men and I had just arrived at the capital. But we've just suffered an artillery barrage earlier and most of the men are wounded after it happened," Ragnar said, "I need you to take out those guns before they start firing again,"
I took a moment to think about this and glanced towards Captain Aphiron and her men. But after taking some consideration that my best friend is in danger, I didn't hesitate to come to his aid.
"Alright, Ragnar. I'll do what I can to help with this," I said,
"Thanks, Marcus. But you have to hurry, I don't know when's the next barrage but I doubt my men can take another one when they start firing the guns again," Ragnar said,
"Copy that," I said, before cutting off communications with Ragnar and I glanced towards Aphiron, "Change of plans! Our mission is to destroy several artillery guns that are terrorizing inside Ograd. Should we fail on this, We will risk losing the life of Prince Ragnarous should another barrage fall upon the capital city,"
Everyone started muttering with concerns as they heard that Ragnar was in danger. Moments later, They turned to me and nodded.
"We'll right behind you, Commander Marcus," Aphiron said,
"Then let's move out!" I said,
"Yes sir!" Everyone said in unison,
With Captain Aphiron and her men following behind me, We've continued our march and went past a few houses and other buildings. Marcus is at the front, Aphiron is at the left flank, and Elyot is at the right flank.
All of them were moving very cautiously due to a chance of getting caught in an Ambush.
After several minutes of walking, one of the imperial soldiers found something and called out, "Hey! I just found something here!"
Everyone stopped and I approached the Imperial Soldier, There I saw several trails of Ikkirian footprints and hovercrafts. But unfortunately for us, The Trails were old so there's no point in following the tracks.
"Should we follow the trail?" Aphiron asked,
"No, As far as I know. These tracks are already old. No point in following them," I said, then turned to her, "Our best bet is to head somewhere from West to North West. Since the capital city of Ograd is located in the south. The rebels would have positioned themselves somewhere in that direction,"
"I see," Aphiron said,
"Alright then. We better get moving, We're wasting time if we don't," I said,
Soon everyone started moving out. But as we left the area, One of the Imperial Soldiers heard something from behind and turned around for a moment.
He thought he had heard something muttering and look at the surrounding area, But his thoughts were cut off when another one of his comrades tapped onto his shoulder.
"Come on, Rookie. We're moving out," He said, before joining up with the others.
"Alright, I'll be right behind you," The Rookie said, glancing at his surroundings one last time before turning back to the ground and rejoined with them.
But after they've left. Something small peeks out from the dark corner and stared in the direction of Imperial Soldiers. As it went after them, It was followed by several others and all of them were moving very quickly and quietly. Not wanting to get caught by them.
Rebellion Artillery Site (3rd POV)
After firing their artillery at the Capital City of Ograd. The Rebel Leader, Aktek, is currently making preparations for his assault on Ograd with his officers. But a scout enters the tent and everyone turned their attention to him.
"Aktek, I have urgent news to tell you," He said,
"What is it?" Aktek asked,
"The Capital City has now been occupied by several soldiers from the Zeno Empire. The leader of the soldiers is no other than Prince Ragnarous himself," The Scout reported,
"The Son of the Emperor?!"
"What is he doing on this planet?!"
"King Zaxiel must have been desperate to call them,"
As Aktek's officers kept making comments. But the rebel leader silences them by slamming his fist onto the table and all of them to turn their attention to the Rebel Leader.
"Aktek?" One of his officers called out,
"So what if that Selfish King called the Empire for help. It doesn't matter if the Emperor himself is here. Our mission is to overthrow Zaxiel and create a new order for all Ikkirian Race and no one, not even the Empire, will stop us from achieving our goal," Aktek declared and his officers somewhat agreed with his declarations as their comments started easing down, "Besides, We have our artillery. If those Imperial Soldiers are within the walls of Ograd, We can simply blow them all away along with the King's soldiers,"
His officers began to agree with Aktek's words, But the scout wasn't done with his report just yet.
"But there's more, Aktek. We've lost contact with a few of our troops that were sent to investigate the ships that were shot down," The scout reported,
"How?" Aktek asked,
"I don't know, But one of the soldiers said that the enemy responsible was invisible and cannot be seen," The scout said,
Aktek felt concerned with this invisible enemy. If he were to interfere, It would lead to a major problem with his plans.
"Aktek, Allow me to handle this 'invisible' Enemy," Someone said,
Aktek turned to his right and saw an Ikkirian wearing High-tech Mercenary Armor, A Long Barrel Blaster, A Blaster pistol (Cad Bane's Pistol) on the right side of his waist, and lastly, is his razor-sharp claws, scales, and teeth. But one notable feature is a small pin on his chest with the Galactic Federation Insignia on it.
"Sure you can do the job, Razo?" Aktek asked,
"Trust me, I can do the job right. Unless you're starting to doubt my skills by now?" Razo said, placing his hand onto his blaster,
"Of course not, You're the reason why we've come so far on this rebellion," Aktek said,
Razo simply scoffed at this and went towards the exit of the tent. But he stopped and didn't spare a single glance at the Rebel Leader or his officers.
"Once this is all over. You hold your end of the deal," Razo said,
"I understand, Razo. Just go and get the job done already," Aktek said,
As Razo left the tent. Aktek and his officers continued their discussion of the assault on the Capital City while the rebel leader dismisses the scout after the reports were given.
Back to Marcus (Marcus' POV)
After minutes of walking, Aphiron and her men were on standby at a nearby house while I was on the roof with my binoculars as I search for the artillery sites. Luckily, I found the guns, but both were positioned in two different places. Four were located in the north, and another four were located in the northeast.
I clicked my tongue at this and went back with Aphiron and the others while the Captain took notice of my return and went to me.
"Have you located the artillery guns?" Aphiron asked,
"I did. But they're currently placed in two separate locations. I'm afraid we're gonna have to split up and deal with both of them," I said, pressing a few buttons on my left gauntlet and a couple of explosive charges wrapped near our location.
"Here's how it going to go," I instructed while popping out a holographic map with the locations of the artillery guns and our current location, "As I said before, We will be splitting up into two groups. The first group will go after the artillery positioned on the north and the second group will go after the other artillery positioned on the northeast,"
"The first group will consist of myself, Aphiron and a handful of troops whilst the second group will consist of Elyot and the rest of the troops," I instructed,
"Why would you have Elyot lead the second group all on his own?" An imperial soldier asked, "Wouldn't it be better if Aphiron and Elyot stayed in the same group?"
"It's simple, While I was investigating a crash site. I received a distress call located somewhere in the Northeast. The transmission was still recent, So there's a likely chance that a group of survivors managed to survive the crash and they're currently engaging with rebels," I explained, "I can't focus on rescuing everyone since I'll be focusing on destroying the artillery from the north and uncovering the cause of the rebellion. But we have a higher chance of saving those people if we split into two groups,"
"He's right," Aphiron added, "If those guns start firing on Ograd, Prince Ragnarous's life will be at risk. We must coop with this plan and stop the rebels from bombarding the Orgad,"
The soldiers then started agreeing with my plan. I turned to Aphiron and gave a nod to her while she nods back with agreement. Afterward, They split into two groups with Aphiron, and I leading them while Elyot leads the second group with a few numbers of soldiers under his command.
"Before you all go. I have one thing to say to all of you," I said and everybody turns to me, "Whatever happens on the battlefield. DON'T play the hero, No one is expendable, and coop with your comrades in every situation. A Group can't exist without everyone's cooperation, Am I understood?"
"Yes Sir!" Everyone exclaimed in unison,
"Good enough. Now go out and do your job," I said, then raised a fist in the air, "For the Empire!"
"For the Empire!" Everyone cried out in unison.
After that, Both groups headed their way towards the locations of the artillery while the Rookie from before suddenly hears the same thing from behind and turned around to find the source of the sound.
He kept looking at his surroundings for the source. But was cut off when an Imperial Soldier pats him on his shoulder to get his attention.
"Come on, Rookie! Don't fall behind," He said,
The rookie glanced at the area one last time and soon he rejoins with Elyot and the others. As for those who were hidden in the shadows, Most of them went after Elyot's group while the rest went after the other group.
Marcus' Group (Marcus' POV)
After splitting up with Elyot's group, The remaining number in my group is Aphiron and five Imperial Soldiers.
"Marcus, I've got a question for you," Aphiron asked, walking beside me.
"What's on your mind?" I questioned,
"Do you think we can take on an entire army with the number of troops we have?" She asked,
"I never planned on attacking the rebel army, Aphiron," I said, "I plan to take out artillery once the rebels begin their assault starts on Ograd,"
"But wouldn't that risk the Prince Ragnarous' life when the assault starts?" Aphiron asked, concerned with Her Imperial Highness.
"The Artillery is the only thing he needs to worry about. As for the assault, He'll manage that on his own," I said while checking the scanner as we walked through the settlements
"How are you so sure about that?" Aphiron asked,
"He and I had our fair share of trouble in the past. So far, We haven't died and that's a good thing," I said, "Cause he's one the best people you can count on... Besides me, of course,"
Aphiron didn't have to say a word. For all she knows is that Ragnar's history with me was shared amongst all the Imperial Soldiers and most of them respect me for joining the empire's cause. There were rumors that even the Emperor himself has favored me as a member of the Empire despite my occupation as a mercenary. I've remained loyal to the Zeno Empire ever since Ragnar and I became friends all the way.
A few moments of walking later, I suddenly hear something from behind and raised a hand to stop Aphiron and the others' movements.
"What's wrong, Commander?" Aphiron asked,
I stayed silent for a moment, Then I slowly pulled out my gun and turned around.
"We're being followed..." I said,
This alarmed everyone and they pulled out their guns as well and turned to their backs. As for those who were following them, They tried hiding once again. But I'm fully aware of their presence and they somehow know about this fact as well.
Elyot's Group (Rookie's POV)
We've been walking for several minutes after splitting up with Marcus and the others. But for some reason, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were followed despite being separated from Marcus and the others for a moment.
But once I heard a metal clang noise from behind. I immediately whipped out my gun and instantaneously turned around as I looked around the area.
"Hey, Rookie! What the hell is going with you?!" One of my comrades yelled out,
"We're being followed, and I know their here," I said, keeping my eyes open
My Comrade sighed at this, approaches me, and places his hand on my shoulder.
"Come on, Rookie. How about we talk this out before-" Just as he was about to finish his sentence. He suddenly hears a faint mumbling nearby and his eyes widen underneath his helmet.
"Did you hear that?" I asked,
"I did," He said, pulling out his gun and searched the area.
Lieutenant Elyot noticed our behavior, glanced towards the area, and ordered his men to stop while he approaches us with his gun at the ready.
"Did you two find something?" Elyot asked,
"We did, Sir," My Comrade said,
As everyone pulled out their guns, I slowly approached the area with Elyot and another soldier accompanying me. Once we went to a couple of boxes, We saw who was following us this whole time.
It was none other than a small Ikkirian Child with a toy blaster strapped behind his back, and not only that there were others as well.
"Their... Children..." I said, putting my gun down a bit.
"Maybe we should just leave them alone. If these kids mean no harm, Then what's the point in remaining hostile to them," My Comrade said, putting his gun down.
But unexpectedly, One of the Ikkirian children grabs a rock from the ground and throws it onto the guy's head.
"Ow!" He exclaimed while a few of us chuckled at this sight, "Why you little-"
"Easy there, Corporal," Elyot said, " They don't mean any harm,"
Then, Elyot approached the kids, kneels towards them as they back away a bit, then he takes off his helmet and shows his face to them.
"There's no need for hostility," Elyot said, "We're the good guys,"
Ikkirian children looked at each other for a moment, and the one in front approaches Elyot.
"Iriya?" A Child said,
Elyot didn't understand what the child just said. But he decided to play along for the child.
"Yeah, That's right," Elyot said, offering his hand to them, "We're the good guys,"
The Child simply smiled at that and shook his hand. After that, we've decided to continued our objective but the children from before seemed to have followed us from afar but they intend to peek at us from now and then.
"I wonder how the Commander is fairing with this," I asked in thought,
Back to Marcus (Marcus' POV)
We were still moving towards our objective. But in our situation, the ones following us were Ikkirian Children but they seemed to have grown fond of me due to my capability of understanding their language.
And for some reason, It's starting to get on my nerves as they kept asking more and more questions while everyone else was secretly smiling and chuckling at the sight of me being surrounded by children.
"Where's a low flying ship when you need one?" I asked in thought,
"The Commander seems to feel a bit irritated, I better do something," Aphiron said in thought, approaching the children, turns off the voice module of her helmet.
"You better stop that, Kids. He might get angry at you," Aphiron said,
A little Ikkirian girl then approached Aphiron and suddenly smiled towards her.
"Nanu Mu Gishi Yiririya?" The little girl asked, pointing her finger towards me.
Aphiron didn't understand what she said. But for me... I understand completely, My body tensed up a bit and turned towards the Aphiron and the little girl.
"Uh..." Aphiron was running her mouth off while she glances around until her eyes fall towards me. I was gesturing towards her not to answer the little girl's question, Unfortunately for me, The results were given.
"I don't know if I can understand what you've just said to me. But I guess you can see it that way," Aphiron said,
The little Ikkirian girl gapes with astonishment while I, on the other hand, gaped underneath my helmet and facepalmed myself from this sight.
Afterward, The little girl rushed back towards me and started singing in her language. I was embarrassed as I kept hearing her song while Aphiron turns on her voice module and started talking.
"What is she saying now?" She asked,
"I'll tell you once this is over," I said, "But we better get moving, Those guns aren't going to destroy themselves, You know."
Then, One of the Ikkirian children suddenly saw something a few meters ahead of us and knew what was about to happen.
"Gadoruga!" The Child yelled,
I understood what he said and turned my head in the child's direction. Then my instincts kicked in.
"Take cover!" I yelled,
Soon, A couple of Ikkirian rebels popped out and started firing at us. Everyone immediately took cover while Aphiron and I escorted the children onto a safe location.
"Aphiron! Cover me!" I said,
Aphiron nodded, pops out of cover, and started firing her gun. While I rushed my way towards another spot for cover, I pulled out my rifle and started firing back at the rebels.
As the fighting went on, The rebels started pulling back as they've suffered a few casualties from their side while my men suffered none. One then even popped out of cover and kept on shooting.
I noticed this and turned towards him.
"KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!" I shouted, but it felt like deaf ears as the unknown shooter fires a single round towards the arrogant soldier and the shot went through his head, killing him in an instant.
"Sniper!" An Imperial soldier yelled,
"Duck and Cover!" Aphiron yelled,
I tried to take a peek to pinpoint the sniper's location. But I was met with another shot from the said sniper, forcing me to keep my head down. Even though my helmet comes with a certain metal that can sustain multiple laser fires, A single shot from the sniper's rifle can be the end of me and I'm not crazy enough to pop out of cover.
"What do we now, Sir?!" An Imperial Soldier asked out loud,
"Aphiron! Pinpoint the Sniper's Location! I'll draw out his attention!" I ordered,
"Yes sir!" She said,
I took a deep breath and raised my hand out of cover. The Sniper saw this and immediately takes the shot. Luckily, I pulled my hand down before I received a hole at the center of my hand and Aphiron quickly took a peek and saw the Sniper's position before going back to cover.
"He's firing in a window on the third floor, 300 yards, fourth building to the left!" Aphiron reported,
"Keep your heads down!" I ordered, then selected a certain feature onto my left gauntlet, "I'll deal with the sniper,"
Upon selecting the feature, my left gauntlet creates a certain nanotech-based shield and I immediately popped out of cover with the shield in front of me. The sniper took notice and tried to shoot through my shield. But the shield's metal structure was tougher than the suit and helmet and it covers the entire body.
The downside of the shield is that I can't see what's in front of me and I can only maintain the toughness of my shield by moving very slowly. If I were to rush my way towards an enemy. The nanotech of the shield will automatically adjust itself and become lighter and thinner than its original form.
The sniper was having a hard time penetrating the shield. Instead, He sets his sights on the other troops. Big. Fucking. Mistake.
When the sniper stopped firing. I immediately went into cover, removed my shield feature, grabbed my rifle, and aimed it towards the sniper. Once I've got a clear shot of the sniper, I switched the firing mode to semi-automatic and pulled the trigger.
The sniper was hit on the shoulder and the voltage isn't enough to kill him but it is enough to knock him out for several hours.
Once the smoke clears, I stood up from my cover and turned to the Aphiron and the others.
"Status Report," I asked,
"We lost one of our men, Sir," An Imperial Soldier said while Aphiron went towards the fallen soldier and took off his helmet.
The soldier that died was a male Glindoozian and the sniper's shot went all the way through his head.
"You know him?" I asked,
"Yeah," Aphiron said, "We were in the same unit upon graduation in the training. He's always liked showing off but he's still a good soldier,"
I sighed at this sight and turned to one of my soldiers.
"Bring his body somewhere safe," I ordered, "We'll come back for it once this is all over,"
"Yes sir!" An Imperial Soldier said before dragging the fallen soldier inside a settlement.
After that, We continued our movement towards the Artillery Guns. Of course, The Ikkirian Children from before started following us again and they kept praising me in their language.
I got annoyed and kept enduring these comments while Aphiron simply chuckled at this scene.
Elyot's Group (Elyot's POV)
On our way towards the Artillery guns, We've also encountered an ambush from Ikkirian Rebels.
We managed to push them back without suffering any losses and we continued our way towards our objective more cautiously since the rebels might ambush us again.
The Ikkirian Children from before. They were following us from behind and one of them took a liking to the Rookie as he walking beside him at all times.
Moments later, One of the Children went in front of me and spreads his arms at me.
I turned off my voice module and kneel onto his level.
"What's wrong, little one?" I asked,
The child simply pointed at a broken home and for some reason. The entire house was riddled with blaster shots and a large hole on one of the corners of its ceiling.
"I've got a bad feeling about this, Sir," One of my men said,
"So do I," I said, standing up straight.
Another one of the Children approached me, started tugging onto my fingers, and I immediately turned to him.
"What is it now?" I asked,
The child went towards a large house, opened a door and his friends followed him inside.
"Where are they going?" An Imperial Soldier asked,
"I don't know. But we better follow them," I said,
My troops and I entered the house, and the children were trying to pry open a floor tile. I gestured some of my troops to help them out and upon removal, We've discovered an underground tunnel and I have my hopes that it'll lead us to somewhere good.
"Good job, Kids," I said, then I turned to the men, "I'll go first, The rest follow afterward,"
"Yes sir," My troops said in unison,
I jumped down the tunnel and turned on my flashlight. The tunnels were connected to a sewage system and I have a hunch that it might lead to a certain location where the artillery guns are.
One of the Ikkirian children jumps down and was followed by the rookie and two other imperial soldiers. Moments later, Everyone was inside the tunnels and the last one to enter was the one who closed the entrance.
"Pisowu Hina!" The Ikkirian Child said and runs ahead of them followed by the other Ikkirian Children.
"What did he just say?" An Imperial Soldier said,
"I think they want us to follow then," The Rookie said,
"Let's hope so," I said,
As we went further deep into the tunnels, My men and I tried following them as much as possible due to Ikkirian Children being able to run faster than Regular Imperial Soldiers and it was most of us were getting exhausted along the way.
Sometime later, The Ikkirian Children stopped and we were all panting in exhaustion.
"I *pant* Never thought I say this *pant* But these kids *pant* are a handful when you're chasing them," An Imperial Soldier said in between his breaths
"Tell me about it," The Rookie said,
As for me, I felt a bit exhausted from all the running. But I put that aside and saw a ladder that leads up to the surface.
"Someone open that up and see what's under there," I ordered,
One of my men went towards the ladder, climbed upwards, and slowly opened the hatch to take a peek outside. Moments later, The Imperial soldier closes the hatch and climbs down the ladder.
"Well?" I asked,
"You might want to see this, Sir," The Imperial Soldier said,
I went towards the ladder, climbed up, opened the hatch, and took a peek outside. I widen my eyes at the sight of what I was seeing outside, Not only the children led us to the Artillery Guns but I also saw a couple of Imperial Soldiers and a few Ikkirian Citizens under watch by a few Ikkirian Rebels. Among them was First Lieutenant Kyeler, A Large Zerillian with large cuffs on his wrists and glancing at his men and civilian.
"It's Kyeler!" I said in thought before closing the hatched and rejoining my men.
"What do we do, Sir?" An Imperial Soldier asked,
"It'd be a bit tough since Kyeler and his men are captives of the Ikkirian Rebels. We'll need a divert their attention while we try to rescue him and destroy those guns," I said,
"I have an idea," The Rookie said,
"Kid, Don't get any-" Before an Imperial Soldier objects him, I said placed my hand onto his soldier, and turned towards the Rookie, "What do you have in mind?"
The Rookie simply discussed the plan while the rest listened under my orders.
Back to Marcus (Marcus' POV)
After several minutes of walking, We've come across a few patrols of Ikkirian Rebels and decided to hide from them by hiding inside the settlements. But while we were inside the settlement, I receive a transmission from Ragnar once again and patched it through after heading towards a concealed room on the second floor.
"Ragnar, What's going on your end?" I asked,
"Marcus, The Ikkirian Rebels are about to launch their assault on the capital and another bombardment has caused severe damage on the walls. You better hurry up before the walls start crumbling down for the rebels," Ragnar said in the transmission,
"Alright, I'll pick up the pace," I said,
"Let me know when you're done," Ragnar said, before cutting off transmission.
I went back downstairs and turned towards Aphiron and the rest.
"Alright, Break time is over! We're going out there and go hard on those rebels," I yelled out, "Let's move!"
"Yes Sir!" Everyone except the Ikkirian Children said,
As we went outside the house, we heard a nearby manhole opening and we all raised our weapons towards it. But when it opens, What comes out of it was the Rookie along with another Imperial Soldier.
When the two approached in front of me, They gave simultaneous salutes towards me.
"Private Ace, Reporting for duty, Sir," The Rookie said,
"What are you doing here, Rookie?" I asked, "Shouldn't you be with Lieutenant Elyot?"
"There is an explanation, Sir," The Imperial Soldier said,
"We wanted to let you know something," Ace said,
I soon noticed an Ikkirian Child standing behind the Rookie's legs and I scoffed at his presence,
"Looks like we're not the only ones who were followed," I commented, "But how did you get here in the shortest amount of time?"
"Through the tunnels, Sir," Ace said, "The little one knows his way around them quick,"
I took an interest in this finding, kneel in front of the child, and took off my helmet to show my face to him.
"Kawu No Tuko Sagutoka?" I asked in the Ikkirian language.
"Wu Yana Kawu! Pisowu Iriya!" The child said, pulling the Rookie's fingers
"They can take us to the Artillery Site," I said, then turned to Aphiron, "Aphiron, I'll need a diversion,"
"We're on it, Commander," Aphiron said, then I turned back to the Rookie,
"As for you, I want you to accompany me on infiltrating the site through the tunnels," I ordered,
"Yes Sir," Ace said, saluting along with the Imperial Soldier next to him,
I proceeded in putting on my helmet once again and pulled out my blaster rifle.
"Then it's settled, Once I give the signal. We commence with our plan against rebels," I said,
Afterward, I went into the tunnels with Ace, Two other soldiers, and a few Ikkirian Children guiding us through while Aphiron leads the rest to a certain location for the diversion to commence. I was also informed by Ace that an Imperial Lieutenant was being held captive by the Rebels in another Artillery site.
So I contacted Elyot and gave him the instruction and the permission to commence their attack on the site and save the lieutenant as well as the Ikkirian citizens that decline the Rebel Leader's army.
Thanks to the guidance of the Children. They've led us to a certain hatch and I went up the ladder, opened it, and took a peek outside. I saw no one in the hallway, pushed the hatch door wide open, and exited the tunnels.
Ace and the other two soldiers followed, but as for the Ikkirian Children. I simply told them to stay behind since it'd be too dangerous for them and they followed my instructions.
After closing the hatch door, I pressed my transmitter and patched it through Aphiron's.
"Captain, Any sign of the Rebel army?" I asked,
"The Rebel Army has left their camp and is on their way to assault Ograd. We're in the clear," Aphiron said,
"Good, once I give the order. Begin your attack," I said,
"Understood, We'll be waiting on your order," Aphiron said, before cutting off communication.
"Let's move," I said,
"We're with you, Sir," Ace said,
Moments later, We saw not only the artillery guns but a few prisoners from both Imperial Soldiers and Ikkirian Civilians.
"Follow me," I whispered,
"Right behind you, Sir," Ace said,
As we went out and hid behind a couple of boxes or debris, I stick my head out of cover and searched the surroundings for any upcoming patrol. I also spotted Aphiron and her men in position from the distance, thanks to the zooming feature of my helmet.
Soon enough, I put my head down, pressed the transmitter, and gave the word.
"Alright, Aphiron. Execute," I ordered,
Aphiron's Position (Aphiron's POV)
"Copy that, Marcus," I said, turning off my transmitter and pulled out my rifle, "Alright men, Let's do this!"
Seconds later, We all popped out of cover and started shooting towards the unsuspecting Rebels. A few of the Rebels were taken out and the rest fired back with heavy weapons and moderate numbers of soldiers.
Back to Marcus (Marcus' POV)
I heard the ongoing firefight, and hopefully, It'll buy us some time for us.
"Now's our chance, Let's go!" I said,
As we head out of cover, We were divided into two pairs. One was setting the charges and the other frees the prisoners. I was accompanying the latter with Ace by my side. I switched with a torch feature on my left gauntlet and started cutting through the prisoner's cuffs.
After freeing the prisoners, I turned to the Ikkirian Citizens since I'm the only one who can talk to them.
"Tiip ki Hudo! Tiip ki Hudo!" I instructed in Ikkirian Language.
As the Ikkirian Citizens make their way to safety. One Ikkirian was watching from high ground and saw me amongst the crowd.
"Interesting..." He said, pulling out his blaster pistol and jumps down from his location.
Meanwhile, The second pair finished their job and reunites with me and Ace.
"We've rigged the guns, Commander," An Imperial Soldier said,
"Excellent, Now we-" Before I could finish my sentence. One of the Imperial Soldiers was shot from behind and we immediately jumped into cover.
"What was that?!" Ace exclaimed,
Just as I was about to answer, Someone else did it for him instead.
"Long time no see, Marcus!" The assailant yelled, "You still breathing?"
I flinched from these words and the voice was oddly too familiar to me. I turned off my voice module and attempted to make confirmation of this alien.
"Is that you, Razo?!" I shouted, pulling out my pistol rather than my rifle.
"What do you think? You Tupawelta!" The assailant, now known as Razo said.
"You know this guy?" Ace asked,
"I do, He's a Mercenary except he works for the Federation," I answered,
"He works for the Galactic Federation?!" Ace yelled,
"Yeah, and what's worse. He's also an Ikkirian," I added, then I raised my voice for Razo, "What's an asshole like yourself doing in a place like this,"
"Business! You know I don't do charity work?" Razo replied,
I immediately tried to shoot the guy behind cover, But the Ikkirian Mercenary takes covers behind a pile of rubble and fires back with his pistol. Of course, I withdrew my pistol and tried not to get shot by him.
"What should we do, Commander?" An Imperial Soldier asked,
"You and Ace pull back with the others," I said while reloading my pistol with plasma shots, "I'll deal with this asshole,"
"Alright, Let's go, Rookie!" The Imperial Soldier said and both he and Ace made a run for it in. Razo tried to shoot them, But I intercepted him by firing my gun towards him and a single shot managed to pierce through his shoulder. Making his groan in pain as he hid behind the debris.
"How do you like that?!" I taunted,
But Razo simply pops out and shoots towards me. Thanks to my quick-time reactions, I managed to avoid getting shot by jumping towards a pile of boxes.
"It hurt like a bitch, Marcus!" Razo yelled, "But I ain't dead yet!"
I peeked out and see if Razo was still in the place, and I saw his shoulder completely sealed by a gunshot I gave him.
"How come you're still alive? I saw you died 2 years ago," I questioned, reloading my pistol,
"Call it a gift from the Federation," Razo answered, reloading his pistol as well, "I simply volunteered in a special project they've developed, and right now, I'm one mean-ass lizard that kills and heals,"
"A Heal Factor? Does that mean you're a rip-off?" I mocked, peeking out of my cover, only to get shot at by Razo's blaster.
"Just what kind of Rip-off, am I to you, Tupawelta?" Razo asked,
Before I answer his question, I jump sideways and fired my shots towards Razo's cover. Plasma shots were powerful enough to pierce through metal like paper and most of those shots while some shots pierced through Razo's chest.
"A Merc with a fucking mouth," I answered, then I noticed my transmitter beeping and I patched it through, "What's your status, Aphiron?"
"We're taking too much fire from the enemy! We're pulling back!" Aphiron said,
"Just get yourselves to safety, Aphiron. We're already done here," I ordered,
"Copy that!" Aphiron said before cutting off communication with me.
"Until next time, Razo!" I shouted before leaving him where he was lying.
After I've left the area. Razo groans in pain, sit up straight and clutches onto the spot where he was shot.
"Damn you, Marcus. Always such a headache," He said, then he heard several fast beepings and immediately leaves the area. After the beeping, The artillery guns blew up in a large ball of fire, and metal was sent flying all over the place.
The smoke clears up and what's left was a pile of scrap metal and gunpowder flowing through the air. Razo then heard another explosion from the other artillery site and presumed that the other guns were destroyed as well.
Razo then clicked his tongue at this sight and presses a button on his transmitter and establishes a communication with Aktek's position.
Aktek's Location (Aktet's POV)
My army and I were closing in on the capital city. Most of the city's walls were about to crumble yet Ikkirian Royal Soldiers and Imperial Soldiers stood on the defensive without Prince Ragnar or King Zaxiel present.
Before I could give out any orders to my men, I hear my transmitter beeping and I patched it through. Only to hear Razo's voice on the line.
"Aktet, It appears the Empire has sent their best man on the sector and has successfully destroyed the artillery guns on both the north and the north-east," Razo reported,
"What?! How was it possible?!" I exclaimed,
"It was 'invisible enemy' you talked about. I never expected to run into Marcus Smith in any day," Razo reported,
"Marcus Smith? Do you know him?" I asked,
"Why of course, Aktek. The man is a great mercenary that the Federation itself had trouble dealing with. Not even, A Mercenary like myself can best him," Razo answered,
I gritted my teeth at this report. I never knew that the Empire would have a mercenary of their own. But I should put that aside since I have other matters I need to handle.
"So... You still doing this assault?" Razo asked,
"I am. Once Ograd falls onto my hands, I'll hold on to your end of the deal," I answered,
"Good, But try not to fail. I don't get paid for other people's mistakes," Razo said, before cutting off his line of communication.
"Tsk... Mercenaries. Scums that fight for profit," I muttered, then turned to the troops, "Prepare for the assault!"
Back to Marcus (Marcus' POV)
After regrouping with Aphiron and the others. The Ikkirian Citizens were thankful for our actions and the Children from before had reunited with their parents or older relatives. One of those citizens used to live in the same village as Aktek and he explained how it all started.
Aktek was a village chief of his tribe. They sword independence from the King's reign and lived peacefully for the past several months. That all changed when Razo came along and started negotiating terms with him. First, Aktek declined his offer since he prefers to live an independent life rather than align himself with any kind of government.
The same result goes for the King and the other village chiefs. So what happened next, Several raids occurred in separate villages including Aktek's village and took everything they owned and sent it to the Capital City of Ograd while intercepting the king's convoys and take everything of value while the rest burns in smoke and fire.
Added with Razo's ability of manipulation and his alien heritage. He somehow managed to trick Aktek and a few other Ikkirians into turning themselves against the King while the other Villager Chiefs, who wished not to get involved in the rebellion, we're either forced to submission or executed and imprisoned their people after the deed is done.
"What now, Commander?" Aphiron asked,
"With the guns properly handled and the prisoners freed from their binds. Our next objective is to regroup with Elyot and stop Aktek's assault," I instructed,
"But how are we going to do that? The men you've rescued are unarmed," Aphiron questioned,
I simply smirked at this and pressed a few buttons on my left gauntlet. After that, A small sphere-like pod appears from my gauntlet, grabbed it, and threw it on an empty field.
As its pod started beeping rapidly, it creates a medium dome-shaped field for a couple of seconds. Next, the field dispels and reveals seven metal crates.
"Hey, Rookie!" I called out,
"Yes, Commander?" Ace asked,
"Open a crate for me, will ya?" I requested,
"Understood," Ace said, going towards a crate and opens it. Inside a single crate, made him widen his eyes at the contents of the crates, "T-These are-"
"That's right, Rookie," I said before he finished his sentence, approached the crate he opened and pulled out an Imperial Blaster Rifle from the crate, "Weapons and Ammunition for an army to use,"
Then I passed a rifle towards an unarmed Imperial Soldier, and the mechanics of the rifle were similar to their standard blaster. Aphiron removes her helmet only to gape at the sight of every crate present as she went beside me.
"H-H-How did you-" Before she could say anything, I interfere as I passed some ammunition to her, "When you're the smartest mercenary in the entire universe. You've got to keep a few opinions open. Especially when it comes to making several weapons for the Empire to use,"
"You make weapons for the Empire?" Aphiron asked,
"Yeah, Because I prefer the Empire winning on any day than those Federal bureaucrats," I said, grabbing and passing a few more blasters and ammunition to the soldiers.
"Because Vagron pays you better?" She questioned, thinking that I fight for money. But she assumed wrong,
"Because I care for the Empire's future," I said, surprising Aphiron completely. It didn't matter whether the Empire pays me or not. If they keep the Federation away from other Independent Planets, I can ease my worries when they're on the job, even now.
"Alright, Everyone! Once we lock and load, We make our way to Ograd and stop the Rebellion!" I ordered,
"Yes sir!" The Imperial Soldiers said in unison,
"Can we help too?" An Ikkirian Man asked, stepping forward along with a few others on his side,
"You could, But I think you all should stay here and protect the one you love first. This isn't your war, you know," I said,
"We don't care about that," Another Ikkirian man said as he went beside his fellow clansmen, "What we want is to stop Aktek before more of us get hurt in his rebellion,"
"He's right!"
"Let us fight with you!"
"We want to stop this war too!"
As more and more of them demanded to join this fight. I turned to Aphiron and for some reason, she nods and I sighed as I turned back to them.
"Alright, But those who can shoot properly can stay with us," I said, passing a rifle to one of them, "But as for the rest, Keep your loved ones safe,"
The Ikkirians cheered as they were given rifles to fight the Rebellion or protect their loved ones from getting involved in the fight. Of course, I ruled out the women and children since I can't have them to die in a battle and I had a few Ikkirian men to protect them in case the rebels try to recapture them.
Elyot returns with a few additional troops along with First Lieutenant Kyeler and I gave them the necessary weapons and ammo, they'll need for the fight.
After that, We march our way to Ograd. To stop Aktek's rebellion against the citizens of Ograd.
Meanwhile... In Ograd (Ragnar's POV)
The men were in a defensive position while Zaxiel and I watched every defensive position in a safe location since we didn't want to get caught in the crossfire from the front lines.
Now, We're observing the entire battlefield via surveillance through separate drones, courtesy of Marcus' tech, and a communication relay to contact separate Imperial officers and deploy them with much faster response and greater effect for mobility.
Soon, The Communication Relay picks up a transmission from Marcus's location. I patched it through and Marcus' hologram pops up along with Aphiron and Elyot by his side.
"Marcus, How did the mission go?" I asked,
"The Artillery Guns have been disposed of and I've also rescued a few Imperial Soldiers from their camps," Marcus reported,
"That's good to hear. But what about the cause of the Rebellion?" I questioned,
"I know about that too. While we were destroying the artillery guns and rescuing the prisoners. I ran into an old acquaint of mine that happens to be the cause of all this," Marcus explained,
"Who is this acquaint of yours?" I asked,
"Razo, A Mercenary from FMG," Marcus replied,
Hearing those initials. I knew right then and there I knew what those initials mean.
"Federal Mercenary Guild," I said, clenching my fists at the name.
"You guessed it," Marcus said,
"The Federal Mercenary Guild?" Zaxiel questioned,
"Their Mercenaries who work exclusively to the Galactic Federation. They are also responsible in several subjugations of planets and systems due to their expertise in guerrilla warfare, protection for powerful dictators and multiple extortions of illegal firearms for Crime Lords or Corrupted Government Officials," I explained,
"And the worse of all. They have the capability of causing several misguided uprisings and stab them in the back after the Uprising becomes a complete success," Marcus added, "Technically, They'll perform any means just to conquer a planet or system under their banner,"
"So it would seem..." Zaxiel said, anxiously sighs at this explanation, "I never thought that this Galactic Federation would force my own people to fight amongst each other,"
"And when the rebels succeed, The Federation will betray them and classify your kind as a second rate alien race among their sovereign," I added, "But that's one of the many reasons that the Zeno Empire is here to help the people of Ikkirian. To fight against the federation and defend those who can't defend themselves,"
"And those are reasons why the Zeno Empire is way better than the Galactic Federation. Is because unlike those Bureaucrats with their Gromflomite supremacy oligarchy. The declaration of Ragnar's ancestor, Dorlio Zii Andrel, The one who was emperor around the time the empire became Space faring nation came in contact with other sentient species and united them with better equality amongst other races in the universe," Marcus added,
Zaxiel eases down from Marcus' words and turns to me with his hands behind his back.
"Prince Ragnarous, is it?" Zaxiel asked, "With the words from your friend. I assure you that after this battle. our alliance with your father's empire is guaranteed on my behalf,"
"I thank you for your words, King Zaxiel," I said, "But we must handle the Rebellion before we continue the discussion of our allegiance with each other,"
"Then I have faith that you'll succeed in leading my men in the defense of my humble city," Zaxiel said, bowing his head to me.
"I'll also rally the troops that were rescued here and make our way towards the capital city to back you up. It should take a while, But I know you'll handle the defenses. Right, buddy?" Marcus said,
"Of course, After all. I was taught by the best," I said, glancing towards Marcus with a small smile on my face.
"Then I'll see you very soon, My Friend. Stay alive out there," Marcus said and his hologram disappears.
Soon, I switched the communication channel and established a connection with Commander Zax's ship. A few seconds later, The commander himself appears as a hologram.
"Commander Zax, I need a bit of assistance from you," I requested,
"What do you need, Your Highness?" Zax asked,
"Is it possible for you to send in reinforcements in Ograd? We're low on manpower down here," I said,
"Affirmative, We will send in some reinforcement in ETA 30 minutes," Zax said,
"I'll be waiting," I said just before Zax's hologram disappears. Then I turned to Zaxiel, "Alright, It's time to get to work,"
Rebel Army's Location... (3rd POV)
The Rebel army was now in charging distance to the Capital City of Ograd. One of Aktet's officers pulled out a pair of binoculars, zoomed in for a closer look, and saw multiple Ikkirian and Imperial Soldiers making their defensive positions across the entrances of the city.
"Aktek, It appears the Empire has prepared for our assault," He reported,
"If that's the case. Then we might as well resort to drastic measures," Aktek said,
"Understood," Aktek's Officer said, then turns to the troops, "Prepare the riders!"
Eastern Defense Line (3rd POV)
As both Imperial and Ikkirian Troops stood their ground. They spotted something fast coming in their way. One of the Officers pulled out some binoculars and spotted several Ikkirian Rebels riding hover bikers (The model is similar to the ones seen in Star Wars) and they were carrying sling bags around their body.
"Here they come!" An Imperial Soldier shouted,
"Open Fire!" Upon this order, both the Ikkirian and Imperial Soldiers fired their rifles towards the incoming riders and taken out half of them while the rest got in range with them, pulled out several grenades from their sling bags, triggered it, and threw it near or over defending soldiers.
"Grenade!"
"Get the hell out of there!"
Upon the explosions. A few Ikkirian and Imperial Soldiers were killed in the blast while the rest survived but suffered a few injuries. While the ones that were still able to move, One of the riders pulled out a flare gun from their sling bag and fires toward the skies.
Back to Aktek (Aktek's POV)
One of my officers saw the flare with the binoculars and turned towards me.
"Aktek, The Riders has taken out the defense line of the eastern entrance," He reported,
"Good, Send in the men to enter through the eastern entrance and sweep them all at once," I ordered, "The rest will stay here on standby,"
"Understood, Aktek," My officer said, then he turned to the troops, "Alright, Men! Follow my lead!"
Eastern Entrance... (3rd POV)
The Rebel Officer and his men slowly entered the eastern entrance with caution. Some of the Ikkirian Rebels took cover on the ways while they signal the rest to proceed with entering the capital city.
Moments later, Most of them were already inside and the rest stayed behind.
"There's no one here," An Ikkirian Rebel said,
"But I don't understand," An Ikkirian Rebel Officer said, ''Where they'd go?"
"Maybe they've retreated somewhere," Another Ikkirian Rebel assumed,
Unknownst to them, A certain drone was flying just above them with the camera pointed towards them.
Back to Ragnar (Ragnar's Location)
Zaxiel and I were watching over the Ikkirian Rebels that entered through the eastern entrance and I pressed a button on the transmitter.
"Major Pithecus, You're mission is a go," I ordered,
"Understood, Prince Ragnar," Pithecus said,
Back to the Eastern Entrance... (3rd POV)
The Ikkirian Rebels were now further inside the city and they were still moving cautiously as they enter enemy territory.
But as they venture deeper into the city. One of those rebels heard something beeping from behind. He turns around and widens his eyes when he spotted a bomb placed onto a nearby building.
Upon detonation, Half of the building itself crumbles and every rebel in the area scattered to avoid getting crushed by it. Once the rubble hits the ground, No one was hurt but the eastern entrance was sealed off due to the massive rubble blocking the way.
Next, The rebels hear multiple blasters charging up, and they were surrounded by both Ikkirian Guards and Imperial Soldiers.
"Drop your weapons or we will shoot!" Major Pithecus yelled out loud.
The rebels were cut off from their only means of escape and a single mistake could lead to the death of every rebel present.
The Ikkirian Rebel Officer sighs anxiously and turns to his men.
"Drop your weapons, Men," He ordered,
When the order was given, All rebels present dropped their weapons, dropped to their knees, and raised their hands in surrender.
A few Imperial Soldiers approached them and started applying handcuffs to the rebels. Some tried to resist as it shows a perfect opportunity to fight back, But they were stopped when an Imperial Soldier uses a stun round to immobilize them and apply the cuffs afterward.
As for the rest, They willingly surrendered themselves and were gently treated as the Imperial Soldiers applied the handcuffs on them. Once every rebel was captured, An Imperial officer makes the call.
Back to Ragnar (Ragnar's POV)
I watched the screens as the men escorted the Rebels to a safe location. Then I pick up an incoming transmission from the communication relay and patched it through.
"Prince Ragnarous. The Eastern Entrance of the Capital has been sealed off and captured the attacking rebels," An Imperial Officer reported,
"Good job, As for our next move. I want you to relocate the troops to the other defensive perimeters and hold the line," I ordered,
"Roger that, Your Highness," The Imperial Officer said before his hologram disappeared in front of me.
'That was an incredible show of strategy, Prince Ragnarous," Zaxiel praised,
"Thanks, and I learned that from the best," I said,
"You mean your empire has highly experienced generals?" Zaxiel asked,
"Nah, I learned it from Marcus," I replied,
"You mean the Mercenary?" Zaxiel questioned,
"Yeah, and he's not just a mercenary or a bodyguard," I said and made a smile to myself, "He's also a bit of my mentor and my best friend,"
"Really?" Zaxiel asked, surprised at my comment,
"Yes, and as far as I knew. We haven't died yet and that's the good part about it," I said, "We trust each other on handling our own problems and fought side-by-side against the Federation,"
"Interesting, It seems as if you have a lot of faith with him when going against the Federation," Zaxiel said,
"We do. But he has more experience than anyone when he's against the Federation," I said, "Even my own father has faith in him... And the whole empire knows it,"
"Well now, I think we should focus on the task at hand, Prince Ragnarous. We still have a rebellion to take on," Zaxiel said,
"Right," I said, then I contacted Major Pithecus once again, "Major, Once you've escorted the captives to a secured location. I want you to set up a defensive perimeter on every opening and hold the line until reinforcement arrive,"
"Understood, Your Highness," Pithecus said,
Back to Aktek (3rd POV)
Aktek and his army wait as they observed the first wave of their assault in the Capital City. Moments later, They hear an explosion and witnessed the eastern entrance completely blocked off.
"What's happening in there?" Aktek asked, But his question was answered when a rider returns to him with a distressful expression.
"Aktek!" He called out,
"What is going on over there?" Aktek questioned,
"The Eastern Entrance has been blocked up due to an explosion that caused one of the buildings to collapse. The Imperial Soldiers and the King's Royal Guard has already subdued the first wave of the assault," The Rider reported,
"What?!" Aktek exclaimed,
This was a problem for them. The Imperial Prince was a bit cunning, He may have suffered a few casualties from the riders' assault. He has lost an entire battalion from his control as well as a Rebel officer.
"What should we do, Aktek?" A Rebel Officer asked,
Aktek grits his teeth and started making hissing noises as he glare upon the Capital City. But he had to calm himself and focused on the assault.
"There are still a few places we can assault in. Divide the troops and have them attack in two separate entrances," Aktek ordered,
"Understood," His officer said before giving out orders to the men.
Back to Ragnar (Ragnar's POV)
Thanks to the Surveillance drones flying overhead. We've spotted the rebel army attacking in two separate entrances of the Capital Walls.
The defenses are already prepared and some were positioned on top of the walls as an advantage point. Minutes later, The Rebel Forces were getting closer and I pressed a button on the communication panel.
"The Enemy is now advancing towards the Capital, Hold the line until Reinforcements arrive!" I ordered and receive multiple agreements from separate officers,
Soon, multiple blaster fires were made in two separate locations. While I manage both the Ikkirian Royal Guard and Imperial Troops, there were reports that rebels were carrying bombs that dealt immense casualties and gave the order to pull back to a safer location.
Then, Zax appears as a Hologram in front of me.
"Your Highness, The First Batch of Reinforcements has arrived via drop pods. I've even sent a few heavy troops as well," Zax reported,
"Much appreciated, Commander," I said and Zax's hologram disappears,
Separate Drop Zones (3rd POV)
As some of the Imperial Troops and Ikkirian Royal Guards pulled back. They soon noticed something falling from the sky and lands on the ground the hard way. An Ikkirian Royal Guard aims his rifle towards it, but an Imperial Soldier places his hand onto the rifle and shakes his head.
Seconds later, They see a few people coming out from the dust cloud. The Imperial Soldiers cheered as they saw their heavy troops with Heavy Armor and their heavy machine gun (Model of the Heavy Machine is the NWD-JR5 from Star wars).
"Looks like you guys need some help," A Heavy Trooper said, before firing the machine gun against the rebels
Back to Ragnar (Ragnar's POV)
After the last Drop pod lands onto the ground. I started giving out orders and have them, band together with different squads to hold the line against the rebels.
But soon, Another problem emerges when the communication relay picks up a distress signal from the South-east part of the city. I patched it through and an Imperial Officer pops up as a hologram.
"Captain Cheirnod. What is your situation?" I asked,
"Your Highness. We've taken heavy fire from multiple hostiles in the area. My men and I require immediate support," Cheirnod reported,
"Stay strong, Soldier. A Heavy Trooper squad will arrive to assist you shortly," I said,
"Understood, We will hold the line until they've arrived," Cheirnod said before his hologram disappears in front of me.
"Looks like this is going to be one long day," I muttered then I switched the channels and contacted Marcus. Moments later, His hologram appears. But it seems that he's taking cover behind a wall with his pistol on hand.
"Marcus, What's taking you so long?" I asked,
"Sorry, Ragnar. I'm trying my best to get to you. But it seems that It'll have to wait. The men and I have run into an ambush and somehow delayed our approach on the capital city," Marcus said, "I'm afraid it's gonna a little longer for us to get to you,"
"*heavily sighs* Alright, Since Zax sent in a few Heavy Trooper Squads in the field. I guess I can hold out a little longer for your arrival," I said,
"I'll try my best to get to you, Ragnar. Just remember what I taught you," Marcus said and his hologram disappears after that.
"How could I forget about it?" I muttered while a smirk crawled up to my lips.
Marcus' Location (Marcus' POV)
The men and I were currently dealing with a couple of rebels that ambushed us. Their numbers of rebels were a bit medium but took cover inside a few buildings or some debris that provides them the greater cover from enemy fire.
They've already taken out a few of the men while the rest took cover behind the walls of the alleyway. I peeked out to see where they're firing in only to get shot at and returned to cover.
"Damn, How are we going to deal with these guys," Elyot asked,
Then I turned to Aphiron, whose standing right next to me.
"Aphiron, Do you have those grenades with you?" I asked,
"Yeah, Why?" Aphiron replied
"Get behind me," I said, selecting the shield feature once more
As I get out from cover, The shield from before forms up and I slowly approached the attacking rebels with Aphiron behind me. As we were getting closer to them, Aphiron pulls out a grenade, cooks it for a moment, then threw it towards the rebels.
The second the grenade explodes. Some of the Attacking rebels scattered and were shot down by the others.
Minutes later, The attacking rebels were falling back after they have taken heavy casualties. As soon as their gone, I pull the shield away and everyone went out from hiding.
"Let's move out, People! We have to push through the enemy and reach Ograd in time!" I ordered,
"Yes sir!" Everyone excluding Aphiron said in unison and we all continued marching our way towards Ograd with caution. Meanwhile, Ace went beside Aphiron as the latter kept staring towards me.
"What's on your mind, Captain?" Ace asked,
"Huh? Oh, It's nothing," Aphiron said,
"Really? Cause you kept on staring at the commander for a while now," Ace pointed out, "And that's something you don't do when we're out on missions,"
"Well... It's just that... Ever since the Commander joined our cause to fight the Galactic Federations two years ago. I couldn't help but question how can a boy his age be apart of this line of work," Aphiron explained, "It just doesn't feel right to me,"
"From what I heard. They said that he has a grudge against the Federation. I don't know the details, but it said that the only one who knows about this is the Imperial Family themselves," Ace explained,
"Is that why Emperor Vagron favors him so much?" Aphiron questioned,
"Pretty sure about it," Ace said,
Aphiron still wanted to know more. But asking more about it would lead to a strained relationship between her, her Commander, and the Imperial Family. So she decided to keep it to herself and press onward with the mission.
A Few hours later... (Ragnar's POV)
Commander Zax had just finished sending in the second batch of reinforcements and the defense lines were holding. But the Rebel army continued their assault and both Ikkiran Royal Guards and Imperial Soldiers were met with overwhelming numbers and heavy fire from the rebels.
"Your Highness! The rebels are overwhelming us! We're sustaining heavy casualties! *bzzt!* We need *bzzt!* AAAGGGHH! *Static...*"
"Lieutenant Aoxis!" I called out, but communications between him had been cut off. I pounded the panel once and sighed on the loss of an Imperial officer.
Then I switched the channels to get a connection with Captain Cheirnod and his hologram appears.
"Your Highness? What seems to be the problem?" Cheirnod asked,
"I'm giving new orders to everyone. Re-position to the command center at once and set up a defensive perimeter upon your arrival. We must hold off the assault until reinforcements arrive!" I ordered,
"Copy that, We're moving out as soon as we can," Cheirnod said before his hologram disappears,
Then I turned to Dezar and my other bodyguards.
"Let's go," I said,
"Wait, Prince Ragnarous!" Zaxiel called out, "If you are willing to defend this command center and I too will follow you,"
"That's highly noble of you, King Zaxiel. But you shouldn't involve yourself in this," I reasoned,
"Nonsense. The rebellion was formed to dethrone me as their king. Normally, I would depart to a safer location. But I will not stand by and watch my own people slaughter on this pointless war," Zaxiel declared,
I sighed at Zaxiel's declaration. But since he wants to stay and fight alongside his people. Then he would make a great ally for the Empire.
"Then gather your best guards and try not to get yourself killed," I instructed, "We still need to discuss our terms in your alliance,"
"If you insist, Prince Ragnarous," Zaxiel said,
"Well then, Let's move out," I ordered
Ground Level... (Ragnar's POV)
Several Minutes have passed and the men have formed a defense perimeter around the command center with Zaxiel and I are inside the building with our pistols and our bodyguards beside us.
Captain Cheirnod approaches me and gave his report, "Sir, Multiple Hostiles are now marching their way here in full force,"
"We must hold the line for as long as it takes for Zax to send in the heavy transport ships and for Marcus to arrive with the others," I ordered,
"Here they come!" An Imperial Soldier yelled out,
Multiple Rebels were seen charging their way towards the northwest side of the command center. With a machine gun emplacement in that direction, They fired upon the enemy and caused the rebels to seek cover under the debris.
They tried to push through the defenses, But they were pinned down due to the heavy fire from the machine gun encampment. Up next, Another wave of Rebels were coming from the north and the Heavy Troops, Imperial Soldiers, and Ikkirian Royal Guards opened fire and held them back while sustaining casualties.
Several Minutes have passed and the battle between Rebellion and the Empire was reaching a stalemate. But as the rebels' number started to increase over time, They've started to tip the balance and took out a few more Imperial Soldiers or Ikkirian Royal Guards.
Once the rebels were in range for my blaster. I popped out from cover and started shooting towards the rebels with great aim and my bodyguards followed suit.
When the rebels opened fire at me, We retook cover, and it was Zaxiel's turn to fight against them. The king's aim was good and his bodyguards were well trained in combat. But soon enough, The men outside the building had decided to fall back inside the command center while the Heavy troops were the last ones to enter since they providing cover for the other soldiers.
A few died in the process, but the rest made in and took cover behind the walls and reloaded their blasters.
As the rebels were closing in on the command center. I soon received an incoming transmission from Commander Zax's ship and patched it through.
"Your'Highness, Heavy Transport Ships are now inbound on your locations," Zax reported,
"Good timing! Send them to our location and force the rebels to surrender," I ordered,
"Understood, Your Highness," Zax said before cutting off his communications with me. But I also received another incoming transmission and, this time, it was coming from Marcus and the other men he's leading.
"Ragnar, The men and I have arrived in the location and we're on pursue with the Rebels outside the Capital City," Marcus reported,
"Looks like this war is coming to an end, Huh, Marcus?" I commented,
"That's right, My Friend. And good job on holding the fort while I was away," Marcus said,
I scoffed at this and smirked at Marcus's comment.
"Yeah, I guess I had some help with that," I said,
"*chuckles* Just deal with the problem you have while I deal with mine," Marcus said,
"Sounds like a plan," I said and readied my blaster pistol, "Reinforcements have arrived in the area! Push them back!"
Battlefield (3rd POV)
As the rebels kept pressing forward. Until a massive shadow hovers over them and they all looked up to saw three heavy transport ships flying above them.
Then a large beam came crashing down on the ground and what comes with it was a modded hover tank (Model of the Tank is made by WARxSnake. I don't own it It belongs to the Original Creator!) and a platoon of Imperial Soldiers. The Rebels weren't able to react fast enough to retaliate as they appeared out of nowhere in several locations within the Capital city.
A Few hours later, The counter-attack against the rebels had succeeded and most of the Ikkirian Rebels have surrendered and the rest were killed when they tried to fight back.
As for the ones outside the Capital. Marcus and the men set their sights on Aktek and his officers and were easily defeated in a matter of minutes. Aktek was now in custody by Marcus along with the other rebel officers.
Hence, the rebellion had ended right then and there. In the distance, Razo is seen holding a pair of binoculars and sighs with disappointment for Aktek's failure.
"Tch... What a waste," Razo said, before entering his ship and left the planet's sector undetected.
Switch to Marcus' POV
I was escorting Aktek to Ragnar and Zaxiel. Upon my arrival, I made Aktek lie down on his knees and stood beside the Rebel Leader.
Then Zaxiel approached Aktek with a disappointed expression and placed his hands behind his back.
"Aktek. Are you aware of the actions you've committed against us?" Zaxiel asked,
"Of course I am. And I only did for the good of our people," Aktek replied, "For our race's survival,"
"And siding yourself with an intergalactic enemy is the best chance for all Ikkirian kind?" Zaxiel asked,
"I DON'T CARE! You weren't there when my people starved themselves to death. I requested for you to aid us and you gave us nothing!" Aktek shouted, "You said you care for your people but you led them to rot. Besides, The Federation is way better than a Selfish King,"
While the Ikkirian King and Ikkirian Rebel Leader were glaring at each other. I started to chuckle which caught their attention then I laughed as hard as I can. Both the King and the Rebel Leader were confused about my sudden outburst of laughter while Ragnar fully knows well about this and simply smirked at this sight.
"What's so funny?!" Aktek asked furiously,
"Nothing, It's just..." Then I removed my helmet, wiped off the sweat from my forehead, and stared into Aktek's eyes, "The Federation is getting old with their tricks,"
"What do you mean?" Zaxiel asked,
I smirked at the king's question, passed the helmet to Ragnar, pressed a few buttons on my left gauntlet, and lastly, played a certain recording on my database.
The helmet, Ragnar was holding, turned on like a camera, and showed a holographic recording of what the Federation truly is. The recording shows several actions made by the Galactic Federation. Most of the content inside the recording were several Galactic Federal Soldiers killing of Independent leaders for taking total control of a planet, accepting alliances with dictators that holds the same ambition as the Federation and the last part was the destruction of a planet led by a large Federal fleet along with a planet-destroying weapon.
Once the recording had finished playing. The screen disappears and both Zaxiel and Aktet were in shock as they witnessed the actions of the Federation.
"Now that you know about the Federation's Actions. How do you feel?" Ragnar said,
"I..." Aktek was speechless as the same goes for Zaxiel,
"If you can't say anything about it. It won't matter, Cause the Federation is way worse than any government. Even if you succeed in overthrowing the King, Your so-called allies will step in and take over," I said, "And they don't even care about what happens to you or other Ikkirians,"
Aktek simply sighed in disappointment as he lowers his head in remorse for his actions. His rebellion was nothing more but a game to the Federation and cost was several lives innocent Ikkirians.
"Aktek, For the crimes you've committed not only to your people but also for the Empire. You are under arrest and will be transferred to a highly secured facility," Ragnar said, then turns to two of his bodyguard, "Take him away,"
The two then approached Aktek, lifted him from his feet, and escorted him into a shuttle.
"He may be a rebel that went against me. But can you treat him well?" Zaxiel asked,
"Don't worry about him, Zaxiel. He will be treated well in our facility but his sentence will not be mild," Ragnar said,
"Then that eases my worries, Prince Ragnarous," Zaxiel said,
"My pleasure. Now about your allegiance with us?" Ragnar said,
"There's no need for a discussion. My people and I are in debt with your Empire, this is the least I can do," Zaxiel said,
"Then I thank you for joining the Empire's cause," Ragnar said, offering a handshake to the Ikkirian King,
The latter shook Ragnar's hand and agreed with them. Afterward, Ragnar and I, along with the Prince's bodyguards, boarded Ragnar's ship and returned to Zax's Dreadnought while some of the Imperial Soldiers stayed behind to rally the fallen.
Upon entering the Bridge, Zax and his officers gave their salute to the Imperial Prince.
"At ease," Ragnar said, "Now let's head to our next destination,"
The Coordinates were set and The Dreadnaught led us to another sector. Most of the journey was just about settling terms of trade, adding more planets under the Empire's Sovereign, and lastly was overseeing a few Imperial Planets for their monthly inspection.
Once Ragnar was finished with the last destination, He stretches his arms for a bit and went back to the bridge.
"Guess that's the last one for today," Ragnar said,
"You did a fine job out there though," I commented,
"I guess I did, but there is one last thing we need to do," Ragnar said,
"And what is that?" I asked,
Ragnar simply escorted me to a room with Dezar following us and the rest of his bodyguards stayed behind. Once all three were inside the room, Ragnar presses a few buttons on a control panel and moments later, A hologram appears.
The person in front of us was a Glindoozian wearing a Byzantium Purple long-sleeved tunic with platinum decorative buttons and lining, Byzantium Purple Trousers, A platinum diadem with extraterrestrial crystals as the jewels, and lastly, was a badge with Empire's Insignia pinned to his chest.
This was Vagron, The Current Emperor of the Zeno Empire, and Ragnar's Father.
"Ah, Son. It's good to see that you've called," Vagron said,
"Hey Dad," Ragnar greeted, "I've finished what you've given tasks, settled the trades, and brought at least 6 more planets under the Empire's reign,"
"Outstanding, My son. Your success is proven to be your first step in claiming my throne" Vagron said, then he turns to me as I removed my helmet and showed him my face, "And it's good to see you as well, Marcus,"
"I could say the same to you, Emperor Vagron," I greeted, bowing my head and my fist on my chest.
"There's no need to be so formal to me, Marcus. Every time I see you with my son, side by side, I already thought of you two as my own son," Vagron said,
"Aw... That's so touching, Vagron," I complimented, while he started chuckling out of delight.
"But compliments aside, Did my son hire you by any chance?" Vagron asked,
"That, He did. And we still haven't discussed the payment of my services. But I accepted it since I prefer having the Empire win than the Federation," I said,
"No wonder my son likes having you around," Vagron commented,
Before we could get a chance to start a discussion. Ragnar catches both our attention by clearing his throat a few times then turned in my direction.
"Oh right, Sorry," I said, letting Ragnar talk to his father,
"So anyway, there is something to talk about," Ragnar said,
"and what would that be, My son?" Vagron asked,
"Well..." Ragnar then began explaining the incident about Ikkirian Rebellion. Mentioning about Federal Mercenary Guild was enough to make Vagron frown over the organization, what's worse, I also added that the Federal Mercenary sent was an Ikkirian with incredible healing capabilities.
"I see, With an enemy like that. We will need something that might counteract this ability," Vagron said,
"Don't worry too much, Vagron," I said, "Even if he has a healing factor. I can still take him down for good,"
"Are you sure, Marcus?" Ragnar questioned, "An Enemy with that kind of ability is proven quite problematic since he can't die by normal means,"
"I've faced that kind of enemy before. Razo is no different than the rest of them," I said,
"Then it's settled. Should he appear again, I'll immediately contact you to handle that mercenary," Vagron said,
"You can count on me," I said,
"Now that that matter is settled. We'll now be discussing your payment, Marcus," Ragnar said,
"Alright, What's the number?" I asked,
"Well... The amount of credits I was planning to give to you is about 100 million," Ragnar said, "But due to the things that happened today. I assumed you're going to raise the offer,"
"I did say I wanted a bonus earlier," I said,
"So... Name your price," Ragnar said,
"If possible, I can provide you the additional funds, Marcus," Vagron said,
"Tempting... But I'll stick with the 100 million," I said,
"Really? But what about your bonus?" Ragnar asked,
"Oh, I still am asking for a bonus. I just have something else in mind," I said,
"And what would that be, Marcus?" Vagron asked,
I smirked for a bit, went to Ragnar's side, and wrapped an arm around him.
"I want to hang out with Ragnar for today," I requested,
"That's it? You just want to go out and have some fun with my son?" Vagron questioned,
"Yeah. After all, being on this journey has been a bit stressful for me. So I wanted to relieve that stress by going out with my best friend," I explained, "Does he have something important to do after this?"
"I suppose..." Vagron trails off as he glances towards his son, "He could spend some time with you for a today. What do you think, Son?"
"It has been a stressful journey for me as well. So, I think sounds reasonable to me," Ragnar said,
"Then it's settled," Vagron said, "Marcus, you're payment will be sent to your account. I'll also notify my wife that Ragnar will be spending some time with you,"
"Sure thing," I said, "And tell Diolra I said hi,"
"She's always expecting that from you," Vagron said before his hologram disappears in front of us.
"Alright, Marcus. Where do you want to go first?" Ragnar asked,
"I know a few places," I said, then I turned to Dezar, "You want to come along, Dez?"
"Sure, I might as well tag along with you two," Dezar said,
One day later... (Marcus' POV)
I returned to earth with Dezar driving, Ragnar sitting in the front seat, and I was in the backseat.
After they've stopped in front of my house, I grabbed my things and opened the car door.
"Well, that was fun. Want to hang out next time?" I asked,
"Sure, and by the way. Heart Stopper really is lived up to its name," Ragnar commented,
"I told you it's good. Anyway, I'll see you later," I said,
"Take care of yourself, Marcus," Ragnar said,
As soon as I went out of the car. Dezar drove off and I went inside the house.
"I'm home!" I greeted,
"Hi, sweetie. How was your time with your friend?" Beth asked,
"It was nice. We went to an amusement park, rode a few rides, won a few prizes. All that sort," I said, "And that reminds me,"
I opened my bag, pulled out a sealed envelope, and approached Rick, who was seen in the living room, sitting next to Morty.
"Here Rick. This is for you," I said,
"What's in it?" Rick asked,
"Open it," I said,
Rick proceed in opening the envelope, pulls out a letter, and started reading through the entire thing. After that, He widens his eyes in the middle of the letter and smiles.
"Holy shit!" Rick yelled out, then grabs onto Morty's arm, "Come on, Morty! We're going out on an adventure!"
Before Rick leaves the living room. He turns to me for a moment.
"You want to come along, Marcus?" Rick asked,
"Sure, But I need to leave a few things first before I go," I said,
"Great, We'll be waiting in the garage," Rick said, as he pulls Morty away into the garage.
Marcus' Interdimensional Room
I put my guns and helmet back to where it's supposed to be and stretched my arms afterward. Then I approached my computer, pulled out a flash drive, and inserted it into the computer's USB port.
"Computer, Could you transfer everything inside that flash drive into storage," I requested
"As you wish, Marcus," The AI said and a loading screen pops up.
As the loading bar increases. Several Images of me hanging out with Ragnar and Dezar started popping up on the screen.
The first picture was me wrapping my arm around Ragnar, The Imperial Prince pulling up a thumbs up, and Dezar holding a rifle on hand. Behind us was a pile of Varrix severed heads and bodies piled up.
The Second picture was in a galactic fast food restaurant, with all of us smiling in the camera with our food and thumbs up.
And the rest pictures all lead up in Anatomy Park. There were the rides we rode in, The booths we've been in, and in some of those pictures included Xenon Bloom, Annie, and all the other staff members of Anatomy Park.
Once the download was finished. I removed the flash drive, went out of my Interdimensional Room, places it on the desk, and went downstairs to the garage. Where Rick and Morty were actually waiting for me and all three of us headed out to classic adventure on another planet or another dimension.
Aftermath of Nebulon's Death
A week has passed and Ragnar is present on Commander Zax's bridge back on Imperial Space.
One of the officers then picks up something on his computer and turns to both of them.
"Captain, A report just came in. Prince Nebulon's ship has been completely destroyed," He reported,
"Were there any survivors?" Zax asked,
"Negative sir," The Officer reported,
"So much for the Concentrated Dark Matter," Ragnar muttered,
"Should we investigate the cause?" Zax questioned,
"No, the cause of Prince Nebulon's death is might have been a miscalculation of their experimental attempt," Ragnar assumed, "So, it's best not to investigate on the matter,"
"But what about our Processor Chip Trade?" Zax questioned,
"Don't worry about that. We'll find another trade source in no time," Ragnar assured,
"Understood, your highness," Zax said,
Bonus Scene!
Just before Marcus, Ragnar, and Dezar passes through the hallway to reach the hangar. The mercenary runs into Aphiron, Elyot, and Ace and the duo immediately remembered something very important to ask him.
"Wait, Marcus!" Aphiron called out,
The three stopped and turned to Aphiron as the three approached them.
"Forgive us for stopping you, Your highness," Aphiron said, "But there's something we need to talk about with the commander,"
"Sure thing," Ragnar said, then he placed his hand onto Marcus' shoulder, "Marcus, We'll wait for you in the hangar,"
"Alright, I'll see you there," Marcus said,
As Ragnar and Dezar went on ahead. Marcus stayed with Aphiron and Ace in the hallway.
"We wanted to ask you a few things," Aphiron said,
"What do you have in mind?" Marcus asked,
"Back when we were with the Ikkirians Children. What does Iriya mean?" Ace asked,
"Iriya, It means friend in Ikkirian Tongue," Marcus answered,
"Wait, since we would they see us a friend? We only met them like once," Elyot questioned,
"Ikkirian Children tend to be a bit playful when they encounter someone new to them. First, They stalk them from behind and next they try to interact with that person. If the person is a threat, They intend to scatter and flee away from that person," Marcus explained," And boy, in their age. Those guys are much faster than you can run,"
"Oh... No wonder they took a liking to us," Ace said,
Then they started asking for more translation about Ikkirian languages and some were delighted that the Ikkirian Children were simply giving multiple positive comments about their occupation as Imperial Soldiers.
But just before I left the three. Aphiron steps forward and places her hand on my shoulder.
"Wait," She called out, "I have a question of my own,"
"What is it then?" Marcus asked,
"What does Yiririya mean?" Aphiron asked,
"Um..." Marcus was trailing off from her question as he stretched the back of his head and looked at his surroundings while trying to avoid eye contact with her, "How do I put this..."
Aphiron and the other two were waiting for him to answer her question. With one final sigh from the mercenary, He glanced towards Aphiron and tells her the answer.
"Yir means Girl. Try putting Yir and Iriya together and you'll find out," Marcus said, "Well, I need to go. I'll keep in touch with you guys!"
Marcus then left the three and headed towards the Hangar.
"Yir and Iriya. Put them together, you get..." Elyot trails off then widens his eyes at this sudden realization, "Oh..."
"What, Rookie?" Aphiron asked, "What does it mean?"
"I think it means..." Ace trails off as well then he tells her directly, "Girlfriend?"
Aphiron blinked once, then twice... And finally, she begins to fluster about it.
"What, wait?!" Aphiron exclaimed, "Why would that girl say I'm the Commander's Girlfriend!"
"Come to think of it. The commander did say that the Ikkirian Children intend to be cheerful once they know we're friendly and she might have presumed that you and the commander were quite the pair since you work well together," Ace explained,
"Well... He is quite the looker," Aphiron muttered out loud. Causing Ace and Elyot to steps back a little.
"Wow, You're taking a liking to him," Elyot commented,
"And he's way young than you," Ace added,
Both comments caused her to blushed completely as her cheeks were beet red.
"No, I don't! I- Well he- Know you he- Just shut up!" Aphiron couldn't muster a sentence, groans in frustration, and marches in the opposite direction while Elyot and Ace watched her go.
"Do think she gonna punish us for it?" Ace asked,
"Probably, But I doubt it," Elyot said, "She wouldn't want anyone to know about this secret. We might as well keep our mouths shut and she'll calm down soon,"
Soon the two went back to their rooms while keeping Aphiron's secret to themselves.
That's the end of Episode 4!
Marcus: And 15k words? That's your newest record in the longest document you've written.
Tell me about it and let me tell you. This part was quite hard for me to finish.
Marcus: That's understandable. Especially when you had to make your own alien language for the Ikkirians.
That reminds me, If you guys have your own OC Alien Race or Language you would like to input in my story. Feel free to send them via Private Messaging.
Marcus: And remember. Crest hates seeing OC Requests in the Review Section. If he sees one, That immediately goes to the trash.
Now before I go. I would like to say that Episode 5 will not be my main focus for a while since I need to work on the other stories as well.
Marcus: Yep! So you won't be seeing me for a while.
So that is all for now and I'll see you all very soon.
Marcus: Stay Safe from the Corona Virus! *leaves*
