Hey guys, Crescent Rider here.
Marcus: And I'm here as well.
And we welcome you to the Sneak Option of Droid Heist. But while I was thinking of the entire plot. I realized that the entire thing has too big for just one chapter. So, I've decided.
Marcus: Crest here is going to do a GTA V Heist Sequence. Where separate preparations are made for the operation before the big play.
That's right. Meaning that there will be two to five parts of the Episode before I move onto the next. The First Part before this was Introduction.
Marcus: Right now, is Stage One. So, expect the following chapter to be Stage two of the plan. What comes next after that is up to Crest.
Yep. Oh, and another thing, I originally planned on posting this on Dec 2. Since I turned 20 that day. But I have other stuff to do that day and couldn't do any progress at that time.
Marcus: Yeah, but hey. At least you tried,
Thanks, Marcus. But anyway, there will be more discussion at the end of this and as always, enjoy the first stage of Droid Heist.
Marcus: Crest doesn't own Rick and Morty. He only owns the OCs of the Story.
After considering both plans on the table, I've made my decision t as I put my hands onto my waist.
"I've been through some mayhem on the way here. I might as well it ease down and take the back-door option," I declared,
This decision made Elizia grabs a nearby object from a table and threw it towards me. But I managed to catch it before it could get the chance to hit me.
"You're such a killjoy, aren't you, Marcus?" Elizia complained while I threw away the object that I was holding earlier,
"And what are you going to do about it?" I asked,
"Nothing, it's your decision. But I expect something in return," Elizia demanded,
"Noted, but back to the topic. What do we need for this operation?" I asked,
"A few things, Reaper," Invader said and presses a button on the desk which zooms in on the back door of the Factory.
"The first requirement of our plan. We will need access to their power grid and security system to disable some of their alarms, sabotage their cameras, and hack into the patrolling droids," Invader instructed,
"The disabling part I can handle," Virus said, "I just need a way inside their systems,"
"Do we have someone reliable inside the facility?" I asked,
"Yes, but he's only there to guide us inside the facility. Not do our work for us," Invader replied, "If that were to happen, there's a likelihood of him compromising our operation,"
"The second is the floor plans of the factory. But they are only found in the database inside the Galactic Federal Prison," Invader instructed, presses another button, and reveals the Galactic Federal Prison,
"The Federal Prison? Why the hell do we need to go to that putrid waste of a place?" Mist asked,
"It's because that's where they not only hold their most wanted criminals but also their most sensitive data," I answered, and everyone except for Invader glances towards me. I sighed at this and explained, "I sometimes infiltrate the prison to liberate a few prisoners, hack into their communication relay to eavesdrop on their operations and I also caused a few Federal Planets to disarray. You all should know what I'm capable of,"
Everyone seemed to have agreed on that and Invader continued with the discussion.
"Anyway, for us to gain access to the blueprints of the factory. We must find a certain Xindroidian," Invader said, swipes the hologram to the right, and reveals a picture, "And this is the one we need,"
"What do you want us to do with this guy?" Six asked,
"It's simple, Xindroidians may have their superior intellect with droid manufacturing. Their minds are still weak to be able to resist my psychic abilities," Invader said, "But for me to take control of his mind. I will require the Xindroidian's phone number to do so,"
"Tapping into a long list of phone numbers, and browsed through all of them until I find the right number is not my style," Virus commented, "The more efficient way to gain the phone number is by accessing the memory banks of the Galactic Federal Prison,"
"That seems appropriate," Mist said, "Those bug brains always keep their most sensitive data in a place where the most wanted are kept,"
"And finally, The Inner Doors of the Facility has a high voltage field. That includes the door leading the Prototype," Invader explained, pressing another button that reveals the Facility's Inner Doors, "Any organic or metallic matter that comes in contact with it will be electrocuted with over 100 million volts,"
"That's not much a problem," Elizia commented as she placed her hands at the back of her head, "If you ask me, I could open that door with my own two bare hands,"
"I'm afraid that that's not an opinion either. The Inner Doors are powered by another source, even if we managed to disable the entire power grid, The Inner Doors would still function without it," Invader pointed out, "But it can be disabled by overcharging its generators,"
"And how are we going to do that?" Mech asked,
Invader presses another button, and an image pops up, showing an alien with dark purple skin, blue eyes and hair, and an Inmate ID Number.
"This is the one we need," Invader answered,
Everyone stared towards the picture, and everyone knew what this meant.
"Well… Looks like we're getting ourselves a new member," Mech commented,
"What do you know about him, Invader?" I asked with my voice modulator,
"This is Adromix, A Fulgurian prisoner of the Galactic Federation," Invader told,
"What are his crimes?" I asked,
"See for yourself," Invader replied, pushed a button, and the screen shows a surveillance feed of a Power Plant.
All of us watched the entire feed, and it shows that the Fulgurian manages to infiltrate the main core of the power plant. What comes next pique a few of our interest as the Fulgurian started absorbing the electricity of the power core for himself and his skin started to change into light blue color.
Then he discharges the electricity directly towards the power core and caused a serious power outage throughout the entire plant. With the alarm going off, The Fulgurian escapes the room, and the surveillance feed switches to several images of him being seen.
Eventually, The Fulgurian manages to get out of the plant but was ambushed by several Galactic Federal Soldiers accompanied by Tanks and Aircraft.
There wasn't any audio in the feed, but we continued to watch as the whole thing situation kept getting better.
The Fulgurian soon charges his entire body with electricity again and discharges towards the soldiers. Apparently, the surveillance camera was destroyed in the process and the feed was cut short because of it.
"Adromix managed to escape that time. But the reason why he's in Federal custody is that he was captured in one of his raids," Invader stated,
"What sort of raid?" I asked,
"He attempted to raid in one of Federal Core Planets Reactor Planet. Specifically, Gromflom Prime," Invader answered,
"The Gromflomites' Homeworld," Mist said,
"Correct, but after the attempt. He was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes against Galactic Federal Prison," Invader clarified, "Right now, He is contained in a cell that's constantly filled with water, patrolling guards keep an eye on him 24/7, and any electronic devices like cameras, radios, even their standard-based laser rifles are kept away from him,"
"Is there anything less I need to know about him?" I asked,
"Most of that information is quite irrelevant in your opinion," Invader pointed out,
"That's correct, Invader," I said, "I prefer the important stuff than a long list of details,"
"However, the only thing that may interest you. Adromix was once a loyal soldier of the Federation," Invader pointed out, this made the red eyes of my mask bright up a bit,
"Really…? Care to elaborate the short details to me?" I asked,
"Adromix was a Specialist in the Federation's Military Ranks. Most of his actions in the line of duty were commendable," Invader explained, "But one certain event changed his life in the Federation,"
"And what would that be?" I asked,
"A genocidal attack of an Independent Planet," Invader revealed,
I widen my eyes within my mask and my curiosity was reaching its peak.
"Adromix led the ground assault on the planet with a platoon under his command. Apparently, The Ground Assault a success but what he witnessed was something that can break a man in pieces," Invader said, then pushes another button.
The several clips shown on the screen were Galactic Federal Soldiers mercilessly killing several Civilians. They had little weaponry to defend themselves, but they were still executed even though some of them were surrendering to them or were captured by Federal soldiers.
After the series of clips, they all had their opinion on these clips.
"Damn Federal Scum, they just had to kill innocent civilians just so they can claim an entire planet to themselves," Mist cursed in disdain,
"I agree with you Misty Boy, even I wouldn't go that far for a planet," Elizia added,
"Same here," Six followed,
"Me too," Mech followed while Virus simply nodded to this,
As for me, these images, and clips were highly disturbing to me… But it only filled my mind with… Rage… that never fades away…
However, it took a full second for Invader to notice and immediately rushed his way towards me. As he is aware of what I was about to do.
"Calm yourself, Reaper… We don't want you making a mess in here," Invader ordered,
I glanced at the people around me and noticed that they were all staring at me. So, I took it upon myself to calm down and breathe in for a second.
"Alright, Everyone… I'm calm now," I stated, and everyone seems to have agreed to my statement. Then I turned to Invader, "Is there anything else I need to know?"
"Apart from the Genocide. Adromix went rogue, killed his entire unit, betrayed the Galactic Federation, and the rest is in plain view," Invader finished then turns off the hologram table, "That's all you need to know, Reaper,"
"Good, now that the briefing is settled. We'll start with preparations for infiltrating the Galactic Federal Prison and Factory in Xindroidian Factory," I declared, and I turned to Invader, "Invader, I want you on comms and notify us of anything that in and out of the Mohoria Space,"
"Understood," Invader responded, then I turned to Mech,
"Mech, prepare us a small ship capable of passing through the debris field," I ordered, "And make sure that it's untraceable and undetectable. I want it to blend in with the surrounding scrap,"
"I'll get onto it right away," Mech said as he went his way to prepare the ship. Then I turn to Virus,
"Virus, Input Mohoria's coordinates to the ship and ensure that our entrance is untraceable as soon as we exit hyperspace," I ordered, "I don't want them detecting the ship even before we started in this operation,"
"You got it," Virus replied, then I turned to the others,
"As for the rest of you. You're with me as we head to Mohoria," I ordered, "Once the preparations are complete, we all go with the Finale,"
"Oh, now this is going to be fun!" Elizia said as she tingles in excitement, while Mist and Six simply nodded at my orders.
Short Timeskip… (3rd POV)
The Operation 'Droid Heist' was now in 1st stage of preparation. Mech had finished preparing the ship (The Model of the Ship is like the Milano from the Guardians of the Galaxy Movie. But the Paint Job is quite different than the original and the same goes for the ammunition).
Virus had finished inputting the coordinates as well as readying his equipment for the operation and the same goes for Invader.
As for the rest of the gang, they come marching in with their gear at the ready. Marcus carrying two Dark sabers (Star Wars).
Elizia carries a 50kg minigun, a bag filled with grenades, charges, and four small boxes of ammunition, and lastly, is her trusty zap gun.
Six carries two Plasma Revolvers (The Model of the Revolvers are LL-30 Blaster Pistol, but the scope attachment is removed, and a six-round cylinder is applied to the base of the weapon), A Plasma Rifle (The Model of the Rifle is a Colt Revolving Rifle. But its ammunition are plasma rounds, the cylinder is still present, and parts of the rifle are made of light metallic alloys)
And as for Mist, He doesn't require any guns or explosives for the operation. Due to being a Dilimian, He has the capability of conjuring shadow-like blades from thin air, and dive into the shadow. However, he does wear light armor since he can still get shot even while he's in his shadow form.
"Alright, Guys! The coordinates are set, and the ship is ready to go," Virus announced, "I have also installed the ghost module to ensure they don't pick you up in their radar,"
"Good, Now let's get going," Marcus ordered, "The faster we get there, The better,"
Marcus soon entered the ship accompanied by Elizia, Six, and Mist by his side. Once they entered the ship, Marcus takes the ship's pilot seat, Mist as the co-pilot, while Six and Elizia took the passenger seats.
"Hey Reaper, how come Mist gets to be co-pilot?" Elizia asked,
"The last time you took that role, we nearly died went you flew the ship through an asteroid field," Mist commented,
"Hey! It wasn't for me; we would have been arrested!" Elizia yelled,
'Both of you, shut up," Marcus ordered, and the silence was their response, "Thank you,"
"Radio Check, do you copy?" Invader called out through the transmission,
"Roger that, Invader" I replied,
"Alright, then you are clear take off when you're ready," Invader said,
Virus soon opens the bay doors that lead outside the safe house while Marcus and Mist power up the ship.
Once the ship took off, Marcus turned on the transmitter and spoke the following words to the crew, "Everyone… Let the game commence,"
"Right!" Everyone said simultaneously,
They soon leave the planet, set the coordinates onto the ship's navigation computer, and they soon jumped into hyperspace on their way to Mohoria.
Approximately Three Hours Later… (Marcus' POV)
The ship soon arrived within Mohoria space and it lives up to its reputation due to an enormous number of scraped ships floating around the area.
"Whoa… Look at all this junk floating around," Sparkles commented,
"You're telling me. With this amount of scrapped metal, then they won't have a shortage of materials for repairs or even construction at that," Six commented,
"But that isn't the only advantage they have on this planet," I pointed out,
"What makes you say that, Reaper?" Mist questioned,
"Due to the debris field circling the planet's atmosphere. It makes it hard for large Battlecruisers or Dreadnought class ships to get through here without sustaining any damage here. So, when a battle occurs here, it's only small dogfights since smaller ships are capable of maneuvering through the field," I explained, "And in every battle here… *Turns to the left* Comes with a horrible way to die,"
Mist, Six, and Sparkles turned in the direction that I was facing, and we all saw a small fighter plane with the pilot's remains strapped onto its seat.
"Holy shit…" Sparkles muttered as we passed by it,
The three of them had a few chills but it goes away since everyone in the gang has already killed a lot in the past.
After several minutes of flying through the debris, we discovered a large and abandoned federal ship with its landing bay still intact. We then proceeded to land inside the landing and turned on the ship's ghost module.
Then I turned on the ship's radio and established communications to Invader's side.
"Invader, we've arrived at our destination. Right now, we have no clue when will the Federal Transport will be arriving," I reported,
"Wait patiently, Reaper. Virus is already hacking into the Federation's network to see if he could identify it's estimated arrival to the planet," Invader replied, "Unless you want to do this part more efficiently?"
"I already have one," I replied, stood up from the pilot's seat, and turned to the three, "So, which one of you three is willing to come with me onto this ship's bridge?"
The three turned to each other for a moment, then back to me.
"I'll do it," Elizia volunteered,
"Alright. You and I will get a spacesuit and make our way to the bridge," I instructed,
"You got it, Reap!" Elizia said as she makes her way to the bay doors, then I turned to Mist and Six, "As for both of you, keep a watchful eye on the surroundings and relocate the ship when you spot something besides us,"
"You got it, Reaper," "Sure thing," Mist and Six answered separately,
After that, I stood up from the pilot seat and followed Elizia to the bay door. Upon my arrival, she already grabbed two spacesuits (The appearance is the Level 10 Hazmat Suit from Ben 10. But the material is Nanotech, the user's oxygen level can last for hours when in space, it's more durable than the original concept and has the strongest magnetic gloves and boots)
"One more thing before we get out there," Sparkles said, placed her hand onto my left shoulder, and planted a small kiss onto my left cheek of my mask,
I sighed internally from this, but I paid no attention to it as I grabbed one of the spacesuits from her hand.
"Let's just get this over it," I said and applied the spacesuit onto my chest
"You got it," Sparkles replied, and applied her suit,
Then, I opened the bay door and both of us stepped outside the ship. We checked our surroundings first then proceeded with caution.
Once our feet were attached to the floor, the bay door closes behind us, and walked our way to the ship's bridge.
"Now, Let's get to the bridge," I ordered,
"Right behind you, Reaper," Sparkles replied,
The walk was rather long and tiring and we barely reached the s. But we kept moving while I laid my eyes onto my motion sensor.
A few moments later, my motion sensor picks up reading and I stopped moving. Sparkles noticed this and went to my side.
"What is it, Reaper?" She asked,
"I'm detecting movement somewhere in the west," I said, "It must be Federal salvagers or…"
"Or what?"
Suddenly, I embraced Sparkles and shielded her with my body as something big crashes through the ship's interior. Small debris was sent flying towards us. But the suits managed to endure it all as the dust settles down.
Once it settled down and I slowly turned my head around to what was in front of me. There, I was met with the sight of the ship almost torn in two and a huge hole.
"What the hell was that?!" Sparkles exclaimed,
"Worms… Big Ass Space Worms," I replied as I let her go and stood up straight,
"Space Worms?" Sparkles questioned,
"It's what I normally call them, but they are commonly known as the Mohorian Vermis," I stated,
"Are they friendly?" Sparkles asked,
"They are considered harmless since their preferred diet is metallic objects. But they tend eating living organisms should they get caught in the middle of their meal," I explained,
"But is there's a chance that our ship would be a part of their meal?" Sparkles assumed,
"Normally it would, but that worm we saw just now, must be an adult and they only set their sights on larger prey since the adults have poor eyesight. It's the babies you need to worry about," I continued,
"Where do they usually lay their eggs?" Sparkes asked,
"It's either the planet's surface or a ship this size. Whichever comes first," I stated,
After our conversation, my communicator started beeping and I patched it through.
"Reaper, do you copy?" Mist asked,
"Loud and Clear, Mist. What seems to be the problem?" I replied,
"We felt that tremor earlier and decided to relocate to a safer location. Are you and Sparkles alright?" Mist informed,
"We're fine, Mist. In fact, keep your eyes on the radar. We just spotted a Metal-eating worm in the vicinity and there's a likelihood of that thing coming back for a second round. I'll contact you when we need an extraction," I ordered,
"Understood, we'll be in waiting," Mist replied,
Mist soon disconnects his communicator and the same goes for me as well.
"Did Mist and Six leave us here?" Sparkles asked,
"Yes, but they won't abandon us. They're just keeping their distance away from this ship," I said, "Now come on, we got a bridge to get to,"
I soon gave myself a running start and leap my way towards the other half of the ship with Sparkles following my lead.
I managed to make the jump by rolling in midair and used my magnetic boots towards the ceiling. As for Sparkles, her jump was a bit early and she gasps when she was about to floating away in space, but I caught her left hand and used magnetic gloves to ensure I don't lose my grip on her and the other half of the ship.
"Thanks, Reap. I almost thought I was a goner," Sparkles said,
"Don't thank me just yet. I still need to pull you in," I said,
Then I proceeded in pulling her closer until she wrapped her left arm behind the back of my neck. Afterward, I supported her legs until her magnetic boots were in contact with the ceiling.
"If we weren't wearing these suits. I would have kissed you by now," Elizia commented,
"Save that for later, we still have a job to do here," I said,
After that, we continued making our way towards the bridge of the ship.
Ten Minutes Later…
We managed to reach the ship's bridge without running into any more complications along the way.
But upon our arrival there, we've noticed that the left section of the bridge has been torn off due to several holes from both the interior and exterior.
"Hey, Reaper. I wanted to ask this the moment we arrive. Is there a reason why we are here?" Sparkles asked,
"The location of the Federal Shipyard is about 5000 meters away from here. But to ensure that they pick up any line of communications from one of their own ships entering Mohoria space. They deployed a few communication satellites around the planet's orbit and one in the planet's surface," I explained as I searched through the bridge, "What I'm going to do is salvage a few materials, build a transmitter with it, and tap into their communication satellites,"
"In other words, we'll be able to listen to their transmissions,"
"Exactly, now how about you help me gather up what I need. The sooner we're done here, the better,"
After the discussion, Sparkles and I started salvaging the bridge for everything I need and used my watch to store them since it comes with an Inventory Feature. It took about ten minutes to gather what we needed for the transmitter, but a new problem began when Sparkles suddenly felt something on her back.
"R-R-Reaper…" Sparkles called out,
"What is it?" I asked,
"Something is crawling my back," Sparkle stated,
I widen my eyes and slowly stood up from the ground.
"Listen very closely to me. I want you to turn around very slowly," I instructed, "After that, I'll handle the rest,"
Sparkle nods slowly turn around. There, I spotted just a baby Vermis crawling its way up on her back. I slowly approached it, grabbed it as quickly as I can, and threw it up to the ceiling.
Sparkles sighs in relief and we turn up to the ceiling. There, we saw several other baby Vermis eating away the metal ceiling.
"That's a lot of baby worms above us," Sparkles commented,
"It's fine, as long as we don't agitate them. They won't disturb us," I said, and turned on my communicator, "Mist, can you hear me?"
"Roger! What do you want us to do?" Mist asked,
"Extraction, Get the ship here and pick us up," I ordered,
"Understood, we'll be on our way,"
While we waited for extraction. Sparkles suddenly spot a baby Vermis crawling towards her as it eats the floor.
"Hey Reaper, I bet you can't kick a worm farthest?" Elizia betted, as she pulls her right foot back and readies herself to kick baby Vermis.
But I widen my eyes from this and stretched my arm towards her, "Sparkles, Don't!"
It was already too late when Sparkles immediately kicks the baby Vermis straight off the floor. A few seconds later, the flying baby Vermis lands onto a wall and lets out a small shriek followed by several other baby Vermis in the area.
"Well… You've done it now," I scolded,
"What do you mean? But more importantly, what are they even doing?" Sparkles asked,
"A baby Vermis has the capability of letting out a cry when they feel agitated or endangered. Once they start, we're in deep shit here," I explained,
"Because…?" Sparkles questioned,
A few seconds later, my motion sensor picks up a large life form approaching fast and close to our position. I tried to rush my way towards Sparkles, but out of nowhere, an Adult Vermis bursts from below and sending both of us off the floor.
Sparkles were sent flying towards the wall while I nearly flew out of the bridge through a hole of a broken window. But I managed to save myself by firing a small grappling spike from my watch.
Once the spike hits a wall just next to Sparkles, I pushed a button from my watch and pulled myself back inside the bridge while landing next to Sparkles.
"Reaper! We just saw some giant space worm burrowing through the Bridge. Are you both alright in there?!" Mist questioned through my communicator,
"We're fine. But I think its best that you get here as soon as possible," I ordered, "Cause that Worm is pissed as hell and it won't stop until it shreds the bridge in pieces,"
"Understood! We'll be there as soon as we can," Mist replied,
After that, I turned to Sparkles and offered her a hand.
"We better get out of here before that worm tears this bridge apart," I said,
Sparkles nodded, grabbed my hand, and we both made a run for it. Apparently, The Adult Vermis didn't just stop there as it started tearing up the upper part of the ship as well.
This causes several problems for Sparkles and me as the Vermis' massive body was blocking off the main hallways that lead down to the lower levels of the ship.
"What the hell do we do now?" Sparkles demanded,
I looked at my surroundings, spotted a nearby ventilation shaft, proceeded in kicking the shaft open, and peeked inside. Luckily, the vents were big enough for me and Sparkles to fit in and it leads all the way down to the lower decks of the ship.
"In here," I said as I entered the vents with Sparkles following me from behind.
As we made our way to the lower decks of the ship, Sparkles and I used zero gravity to descend through the vents faster while using our magnetizing suits as brakes to take a few sharp turns through the ventilation system.
A few moments later, we were able to reach the lower deck of the ship, kicked the vent shaft open, and magnetized our boots towards the floor.
But as we exited the vents, Sparkles and I spotted the mid-section of the Vermis' body in the left corner of the deck.
"Geez! Just how long is that damned worm!" Sparkles shouted,
"Longer than you think," I replied as I turned on my Communicator, "Mist, where are you right now?"
"We're almost there, Reaper. But I can see the tail of that worm's tail wiggling from here," Mist commented,
"Alright," I said, then turned to Sparkles, "We better pick up the pace,"
"You don't have to tell me twice," Sparkles replied,
We then make a run for it, and it was the right choice when the Adult Vermis came crashing through the ceiling from behind.
"Reaper!" Sparkles cried out,
"Don't stop! Keep running!" I yelled,
Outside the Ship (3rd POV)
Mist and Six were approaching the ship where Reaper and Sparkles are on board. The entire ship was being coiled by the Space Worm like a snake strangling its prey.
"How are we going to get them out of that?" Mist questioned,
"You get us close to that ship. Once you do, I will deal with the rest," Six said as he went to the back of the ship,
"You better know what you are doing!" Mist yelled as he brought the ship closer,
Back to the Duo (Marcus' POV)
As we went through the hallways of the lower deck, the ship's interior was starting to break by Mohorian Vermis crushing it.
We then made a few turns and noticed that some of the hallways were cut off due to the Vermis' massive body blocking the way.
Eventually, we make a left turn and noticed a hallway that leads outside the ship.
"What now?" Sparkles asked,
"Jump!" Six said in the communicator which caused me to frown at that opinion,
"Are you out of your mind, Six?" I questioned,
"Either that or you both get crushed to death," Six stated,
I sighed at this, rubbed the back of my helmet a couple of times, then gave a nod to Sparkles while the latter nods back to me,
"You better know what you are doing!" I said, as Sparkles and I charged our way out into space,
As we flew out into space, Six suddenly arrives wearing some rocket boots and caught us both in mid-air.
"Nice timing," I complimented,
Six then flew us back to where our ship was located, Mist opens the bay doors on his side, and all three of us entered while the latter flew the ship away from the Vermis.
A few moments later…
After the whole ordeal, Sparkles decided to take a little breather while I worked on assembling the Transmitters with the materials I gathered earlier.
Once the last screw was in place, I turned it on, and it showed that it was working quite well despite its crude appearance.
"Hey, Virus. Can you detect the frequency of this Transmitter I made?" I asked,
"I can, In fact. What's the point of building this in the first place?" Virus asked,
"Simple, it saves time. Now can you get me the information we need?" I requested,
"Just give me a second… Okay, I've got the information we need," Virus said, "And here's the transport's charted course,"
The ship's Navi Computer updates us with the coordinates acquired by Virus' efforts and thoroughly examined the location.
"When is their estimated arrival here?" I asked,
"They'll be scheduled to arrive in Mohoria Space in three days. But you won't have any other problems since those transports have small ships escorting them," Virus added,
"Good to know," I said, turned off the transmitter I made and smashed the thing in pieces. It also caught the others' attention,
"Hey, Reaper. Why would go to all that trouble to build that thing just so you could break it afterward?" Mist questioned,
"Isn't it obvious for all of you?" I asked, "Or do you want me to repeat myself of why I do this kinda thing?"
"Hey. I was just joking, Reaper. No need to get so serious on us," Mist responded,
"Good," I said as I took the pilot's seat, and turned to Six, "Six, set the coordinates back to Uv15ol. We have a lot of preparations to perform,"
"Why do we have to go back to base?" Sparkles questioned, "Can't we just attack the Shipyard and hijack one of their ships?"
"If we do that then it'll compromise our operation. And even if we did manage to steal a ship undetected. It won't be necessary since the personnel of the Galactic Federal Prison will ask questions before shooting us in space," I explained,
"I see your point," Sparkles replied,
"Good, any other questions you want to say?" I asked, and the silence was their response, "Then this conversation is over,"
After our brief discussion, I inputted the coordinates back to base and we jump into hyperspace.
Back in Uv15ol (3rd POV)
After Reaper and the others have returned. They all have another meeting regarding with the operation.
"So, guys, how are we going to steal that ship?" Sparkles questioned,
"It's relatively simple," Reaper said then turns to Mech, "Mech, do we still have that EMP Device in storage?"
"Yeah, the thing's been collecting dust. But I'll get it in working condition soon enough," Mech said,
"Good," Reaper said then he turns to Invader, "Invader, you have news for me?"
"Yes, Our Operative in the Factory has informed me that Federal Bureaucrat is visiting the Factory in one week," Invader said, pushed a button on the desk, and shows a picture of Gromflomite, "This is Grav, the Federation's Director of Defense. He is also the one who befriended the Federal Xindroidians and the one overseeing the project,"
"So, he's coming to pay them a visit?" Reaper questioned,
"Apparently so," Invader replied,
I put my hand under my chin in thought and then suddenly I get an idea regarding this Bureaucrat.
"It appears that we have ourselves a new opportunity for this Operation," Reaper commented, catching others attention,
"What do you mean, Reaper?" Mist asked,
"Since this Federal Bureaucrat is going to pay a visit to the Xindroidians. We can also use this into our favor," Reaper answered, then turns to Virus "Virus, what I want you and Mech to accompany me into Gromflom Prime,"
Mech and Virus glanced at each other for a moment, then back to Reaper.
"Why would you want to go to the Gromflomites' Homeworld?" Mech asked,
"After finding out that this Director is the one who befriended them. He will also become one who betrays them as well," Reaper said,
Some of them didn't get what I meant, but Invader, Mist, and Virus knew what I was talking about as they widen their eyes to my idea.
"You're planning on making him our scapegoat of the operation?" Invader revealed,
"Correct. What we need is a few things from him in Gromflom Prime, set the timing correctly, and have them take the blame," Reaper explained, "That way, Those Federal Xindroidians will have no possible clue that we're the ones who stole their prototype and…"
"Grav will take the fall and his relations with them will worsen," Six finished, "Quite effective, but it will only work unless we have enough evidence to blame them,"
"That's why we need to head to Gromflom Prime," Reaper said, "We will find a few officers assigned to Grav's command and impersonate them,"
"I have a device that may prove useful for that option," Mech said,
"Then bring it with you," Reaper ordered, "And make sure it's good for three,"
"Sure thing," Mech replied,
The rest of the discussion was a few minor things about the operation. But suddenly, Sparkles hears a phone ringing nearby, went to it, and pulled out Reaper's phone from his duffle bag.
"Hey, Reaper. Your phone's ringing," Sparkles called out,
Reaper turns to her and the latter threw the phone onto his hand. When he checked the caller's name, he immediately removes his mask and answered it.
Switch to Marcus' POV
"Hey Mom," I greeted,
"Hey Sweetie," Beth greeted back on the other line, "I heard from Rick that you leave the house and I hope you're doing okay with your friends,"
"I'm doing fine, Mom. In fact, I'm in a room surrounded by my friends right now," I said, put my phone on speaker, and turned my phone to my friends, "Say hello to my mom, Guys,"
"Hello, Mrs. Smith!" Elizia greeted, and the rest greeted simultaneously,
Once that was done, I turned off speaker mode and put the phone back to me.
"But other than that, Mom. Why did you call me today?" I asked,
"I wanted to ask you something. Do you know where your father is?" Beth asked,
"I thought Jerry is still in the house?" I replied,
"Well, When I got home in the house. I looked for Jerry everywhere and somehow he had just disappeared," Beth explained, "So I assuming you know, where is he?"
"Um…" I glanced around the room, "I think… I remember him borrowing some money from me earlier, and I'm assuming that he left after I gave a couple of dollars,"
A momentary silence was brought in between me and my mother. A few moments later, I heard her sigh on the other line.
"Well, I did hear that from Morty and Summer. So, I guess there's nothing to worry about," Beth said,
"Yeah, but anyway. I better go now," I said, "My friends and I are heading out soon,"
"Sure thing, Sweetie," Beth replied, "Have fun with your friends,"
"Okay, Bye Mom", I said, and Beth hangs up on the other line.
I put away the cellphone and hid it inside my duffle bag while noticing the gang staring at me.
"Why did your Mother call all of a sudden?" Six asked,
"She just asked me a question about Jerry," I said, "That's all,"
"You mean your Dad, Reaper?" Sparkles questioned,
"Yes, but I don't call him that even if he begged me to," I said,
"I've always wondered, why do you resent him so much?" Invader questioned,
I looked away from Invader's view and began to recall a certain memory of my past. I could faintly hear a car horn closing on to me. But I decided to shrug it out of my mind and sighed afterward.
"Invader, I prefer to don't pester me about my past. I don't like it," I warned,
"Understood, Reaper," Invader answered,
"Good, if you all need me. I will be in my quarters to get myself some shut-eye," I said,
As I left the room, the others decided to do their tasks first before getting themselves some R&R for the next step of the operation.
Bonus Scene (3rd POV)
Marcus is seen in his room making sure that he had packed everything he needs. Almost everything was accounted for, but that's where he discovered what was missing in his bag.
"Shit, I forgot to pack that Mask again," Marcus muttered, "Whatever, I might as well bring a couple of more things while I'm there,"
Marcus then opened his closet door, opens the portal that leads to his Interdimensional Room, and it closes as soon as Marcus enters the other side of the portal.
That's where Jerry comes in as he enters Marcus' room with him knowing.
"Marcus?" Jerry called out as he went further inside the room,
Then he noticed the duffle bag on Marcus' bed and then decided in searching the bag for money. As we went through Marcus' things, he spots some sort of metal cube inside the bag.
"What is this thing?" Jerry questioned, as he reaches for it,
Then suddenly, Jerry unintentionally presses a small button from the cube and he instantly gets sucked inside the cube before he could react.
By the time, Marcus returns from his Interdimensional Room. He then packed his mask along with the other stuff he had carried out.
Then he closed the duffle bag's zipped, carried it with one hand, and left his room with the door slightly open.
Guess that's the end of Part 1 of Droid Heist.
Marcus: Yep, and it's going to be one long episode if you ask me.
Yeah. I'll work my way through it. Even if there are a lot of grammar mistakes in this chapter. I will work those out when I have the time to do so. But right now, I need to focus on working on the other parts then proceed to the next one.
Marcus: True
But before I go, there is a review I would like to answer first.
Guest: Man I really like your story of having an OC that is Morty's older brother and a badass Mercenary that serves an Empire that is able to go toe on toe and even kicking the Federation butt. But I just wanna ask is the Zeno Empire an inter-dimensional or an inter-galactic Empire? What is their insignia look like? And what is Marcus' appearance? Is he like a younger version of Rick or something? And have the Zeno Empire being in conflict with the Council of Ricks?
Drakin and I talked about your questions and here are the answers from top to bottom.
First, We haven't thought of the Insignia of the Zeno Empire yet. Second, The Zeno Empire is an Intergalactic Empire but they have a few Inter-dimensional Colonies. And Lastly, The Zeno Empire and the Citadel of Ricks are neutral with each other unless a few of the Ricks residing there have committed criminal activity against the Empire.
Marcus: As for my Appearance, It's written in the Introduction Chapter. But Crest forgot to input the hairstyle there.
That's a mistake on my part. But I will add that detail soon. Other than that, I guess that's all there is to say and I will see you all in the next part of the Chapter.
Marcus: Stay safe from the Corona Virus! *leaves*
