Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here, and I'm here with Marcus
Marcus: Hello!
And we are back with the second part of the episode. Normally this is the part where I explain something important. But as I read through the reviews section, I've decided everything important will come at the end of this chapter.
Marcus: And it's something you must read!
Indeed, but until then. Enjoy the chapter
Marcus: Crest doesn't own Rick and Morty. He only owns me!
Syndicate Fleet, Earlier. (3rd POV)
A Small Syndicate Fleet was traveling in hyperspace.
The one calling the shots of today's operation was the son of a Syndicate Executive known as Zav. A red Nuptian rather than a blue Nuptian.
And beside him was his bodyguard. A member of the Full House Gang known as Six.
It wasn't rare nor common to have someone hire a member of the Full House Gang. Despite their loyalty to the Reaper himself, they can still be hired as gunmen, bodyguards, and the likes for the right price.
Even the Reaper himself can be hired if the negotiations were properly discussed. But the criteria of each member have their own merits and consequences.
"Sir, We are reaching the sector. ETA, 30 Seconds," The Navigation Officer notified,
"Good, Once we've reached the sector. There is nothing between us and fresh Tyranite," Zav stated,
But he was soon wrong as the fleet exits hyperspace, and finds themselves in front of not one. But two fleets belong from separate factions. The Zeno Empire, and the Sylaneous Order.
"Shit..." Zav muttered, then the alarm sets off when the two fleets started firing at them,
If it weren't for the newly designed shield generator, They would have suffered severe damage from the cannons of the enemy ships
"Guess there's no avoid this," Zav muttered, "Return fire at once!"
"Are you certain that you want to do that?" Six questioned, "Once we've engaged them, The chances of them joining forces is high, and this is situation is way over the price you offered,"
"You think I wasn't prepared for this? This ship is not only modified with a newly designed shield generator. It also comes with state of the art turbo lasers and ion cannons," Zav elaborated, "Therefore, I'm sure we can handle a few ships,"
Six then went to a nearby console, zoomed in on the Imperial Ships, and recognizes the insignia and design of the flagship.
"It appears that this job way overpriced, Zav," Six noted,
"What do you mean?" Zav said,
"The Imperial Flagship," Six stated, "It belongs to the Diolra Vex Andrel, The Empress of the Zeno Empire,"
"What?! That's impossible! Why would the Empress of one of the most well-known factions be in this sector!" Zav yelled,
"My assumption would be that this is more of a diplomatic mission than some conquest," Six said, "If that wasn't the case, The ships of the Sylaneous Order would have no reason to stay within this sector with the Empire,"
Zav groans in frustration as he leaned back onto his chair. If the Empress of the Empire dies, it would lead to problems that would reach the farthest regions of space.
Worst-case scenario, The Emperor would not take kindly to the ones responsible for her murder...
"Ugh, Fine! Just damage their ships until they're disabled and send in transport ships to collect the Tyranite," Zav ordered, "Once we've collected enough, We'll be leaving the sector as soon as possible,"
"It seems you're not so dumb as I initially thought you were," Six commented, "For that, I will be leading the troops on the ground,"
Six then left the bridge and made his way to the docking bay to prepare the troops. He would board his signature ship, The Lasyaw. (The Ship's design is similar to Cad Bane's Signature Ship, and the name is something I made up for his alien language. Lasyaw means Hunter in his tongue)
As soon as everything was ready, Six led his troops to the planet's surface while the enemy fleets were unable to deal with them since they were under fire by Zav's fleet.
Meanwhile... (Marcus' POV)
Everyone in the Imperial Outpost prepared themselves for combat, and I supplied them with weapons they'd purchased from me.
They all went to their assigned positions while The Imperial Prince and the Fourth Princess of the Order were assigned in the front with their respective bodyguards.
Oko stood closely to Ragnar to ensure Lylia doesn't make a move on him. But wasn't necessary as Lylia said to them that she wasn't interested in him, and she has her own lover back home.
I stood in between the two royal children, equipped with an Infrared Scoped Gauss Rifle (Prototype Version), and scanned the trees for any hostiles approaching the outpost.
Not long after, Diolra contacts her son through the commlink, "Multiple Hostiles have been detected nearby the outpost and are closing in on your location,"
"Weapons up!" Ragnar commanded, and the Imperial Soldiers readied themselves for a fight,
The Soldiers of the Order followed suit, and everyone waited for the enemy to appear in the woods.
As for me, My scope had already found at least one man slowly making his way near the outpost and set my sights on him, "I found one,"
"Take it," Ragnar ordered,
With a single breath, I pulled the trigger and shot the man through the head to make it as painless as possible.
But that's when my scope soon picked up several more contacts, and they seemed to have set their sights on me.
"Shit!" I cursed, and immediately ducked down as the enemy began firing their weapons towards them,
Ragnar, Lylia, and Oko followed suit along with some of their men. But those would weren't fast enough were caught and killed by the enemy line of fire.
After some time, the firefight began and both sides were caught in a stalemate and sustained casualties. But more from the enemy than the defenders.
South of the Outpost (3rd POV)
A Particular portal soon opened from the woods, and want comes out was none other than Rick and Morty with another interdimensional adventure.
"Okay, Morty. We're here on Planet *burps* Thestrustea! Where we can get fresh Tyranite crystals," Rick said, and pulled out a scanner device from his coat,
"Tyranite? What's that supposed to be?" Morty asked,
"It's a crystal t*burps* that's used for fuel for ships, and a drug that can enhance physical properties tenfold," Rick answered, then his scanner soon detected the nearest, and also largest deposit up north, "And it looks like we're in luck, Morty! I'm detecting a large amount just up ahead! Now let's go and get some motherfucking crystals"
But before they could proceed, they soon heard gunfights, much to Rick's frustration, "Oh, great,"
Rick then pulled out his blaster pistol, switches off its safety, and kept it at the ready.
As Rick carefully trends up north, Morty follows along while feeling a bit concerned about the ongoing firefight, "W-What was that?"
"Probably the competition fighting over the Tyranite. It's anyone's game when it comes to the black market," Rick elaborated,
"Black market! Are you saying we're going to get in the middle of some illegal business!" Morty yelled, "I-I-I-I don't want to be caught or killed!"
"Morty! Calm your shit, Those guys are probably killing each other," Rick stated, "We can just sneak in, grab as many crystals as we can, and get out before they see us with their merchandise. Now do me a favor and carry this sack *tosses an empty sack* while I cover the front"
The duo cautiously marched their way forward, but as soon as they reached the end. Rick pushes some leaves away and finds a large wall in the way.
"Oh great," Rick complained, walks up to the wall, and cupped his chin as he examine the fences on the top of the walls.
Morty seemingly caught up to him, and notices the wall as well, "That's a big wall,"
"That's what she says, Am I right?!" Rick joking remarked, lets out a laugh, then focuses on the main task at hand, "You know what, That was a terrible joke, my bad,"
Rick then turns back to the woods, grabs the largest stick he could find, and throws them onto the fence. Without warning, the fence activates and electrifies the stick as it felt to the ground and snaps into pieces.
"Wow, whoever made this must have gained a lot more than their insurance money," Rick commented,
"Great, Can we leave now?" Morty inquired,
"Morty, that is the stupidest question you've asked so far," Rick said, then spots an uneven panel by the wall, "Wait here,"
Rick then pulls out his portal gun, opens a portal back home, then returns a few seconds later with a toolbox on hand.
"What are you-" Morty was about to ask, but Rick cuts him off by saying, "Don't talk to me right now,"
Rick then went to the wall, opens his toolbox, and pulled out a universal handheld laser cutter. He then started cutting through the uneven panel and forcefully peeled it open by hand to reveal several wires and a box within.
Rick hums in thought, but he soon grabs a pair of goggles from his toolbox. He then wore the goggles and turned on its x-ray feature. he soon finds what appears to be a circuit box and used his laser cutter to cut a small hole.
Once the hole was made, Rick puts away his goggles and laser cutter for a hammer and a screwdriver. He carefully places the screwdriver through the hole, firmly holds onto it, then hammers it a couple of times until he heard a spark.
Rick then turns to the fences and decided to throw the hammer to see if it was active. Fortunately for him, it power to the fences was brought offline and then he pulls out some rope to make a lasso out of it.
Rick then flings the lasso onto one of the fence posts and pulled it a couple of times to see if it's secure. Once he knows, he then grabs the screwdriver, and places it back into his toolbox, "Alright Morty, It's time to go in!"
Back to Marcus and co. (Marcus' POV)
The firefight went on for the past couple of minutes. But Ragnar was soon approached by an Imperial Soldier of the Outpost.
"Your highness! The Southern part of the Outpost has been compromised! The electric fence is down!" The Imperial Soldier reported,
This alarmed not only the Imperial Prince but also the Princess and myself.
The possibility of enemy troops infiltrating from the south was unlikely. But it can still happen.
"I'll send some of my men to intercept them," Lylia said and didn't waste a moment to spare some troops to scout the southern part of the outpost,
A total of three led by her trusted bodyguard, Coreul, to intercept while the rest holds the line against the enemy forces.
"Are you sure it's wise to have your trusted bodyguard gone from your side?" Ragnar inquired,
"Not at all! In fact, he prefers battles where he can charge towards the enemy rather than sit here and shoot," Lylia answered,
As the fighting continued, Another problem comes for the royal children.
Without warning, A soldier of the Order was shot through the head, then followed by an Imperial Soldier.
As soon as the few were picked off, Ragnar and Lylia immediately ordered their men to put their heads down as a sniper was within range.
I attempted to take a peek and searched But I quickly lowered my head down as soon as the sniper saw a glimpse of me.
"That sniper's going to be a problem we don't know where he is!" Oko clarified,
Ragnar and Lylia had no options at this matter at hand. With Diolra and Executor Tyrethe currently occupied with the enemy fleet. They wouldn't be able to call in any assistance from them.
But that's when a Soldier of the Order decided to make his own option for them, "Mercenary! Do you wish to find the sniper!"
"Yeah! But I can't do that without getting my head blown off!" I replied, and I soon realized what this soldier was planning on doing,
The Soldier then turns to Lylia, and gave a sympathetic smile to her, "My lady, It's been an honor serving you,"
"What are you-" Lylia couldn't finish her question, as the soldier willingly stood up to show himself to the enemy, "No wait!"
Without hesitation, the sniper shoots the soldier straight through the head while I took the opportunity of finding the sniper.
Once I've spotted the glint of the sniper's scope, I used the heightened vision of my helmet to identify the assailant before ducking my head down when he soon turns to me.
After some time analyzing through the databank of several criminals, I've managed to find a perfect match of the sniper, "Well I'll be damned,"
"What is it, Marcus?" Ragnar questioned,
"Whoever's leading this operation much be loaded with cash," I said, "Because the one we're dealing with here is a member of the Full House Gang, and it just so happens to be their sharpshooter,"
"Six of the Full House Gang?" Ragnar said,
"You bet," I said,
Ragnar groans to himself as this criminal was notorious for Abduction, Sabotage, and Assassination throughout several sectors. Even similar incidents caused by him had occurred within Imperial Territories.
But before he could process any thought, he decided to tend with Lylia first. As she was in a state of shock for witnessing her own soldier sacrificing himself in front of her.
"Hey! I know what it's like to witness your own people die in front of your eyes," Ragnar yelled as he held her shoulders and shook her a bit, "But you can shed a tear after the battle is over! So snap out of it!"
"O-Okay," Lylia uneasily said, before turning her attention back to the
Ragnar then returns to his position, but soon notices a frown from Oko, and groans at this expression, "What now?"
"Are you sure you aren't taking a liking to her?" Oko said,
"For the last time, No! I don't," Ragnar complained, "In fact, Do you recall that she has her own lover on her homeworld,"
"I know," Oko said, "I'm just noticing you getting too close to her,"
"Marcus, Help me out here," Ragnar pleaded,
"This is your problem, Not mine," I stated, much to Ragnar's irritation, "But it is not our current problem. If we don't do something with that sniper, Then we're done for,"
But that soon changed when Lylia's commlink began to ring, and switches it on, "Executor Tyrethe? Why are you calling me?"
"My lady! Reinforcements have arrived! They are now driving the enemy ships back!" Executor Tyrethe reported, and this boosted the morale to not only hear but to everyone within earshot of the commlink,
Syndicate Fleet (3rd POV)
Zav and his fleet have managed to damage the ships without destroying them. But soon enough, one of his officers detected something within the ship's radar, "Sir! I am detecting several ships exiting hyperspace! They're coming from the right flank!"
"What?!" Zav exclaimed and turns to the right,
This turned out to be true as a sizable fleet of large ships exited hyperspace. Worse of all, they all belonged to the Sylaneous Order.
Due to this sudden change of events, Zav had no other choice but to call off the operation as he didn't want the risk of being overwhelmed by the number of enemy ships in the area.
"Orders sir!" An Officer questioned,
"Get us out of the sector!" Zav frantically ordered,
"But sir! What about Six and the troopers below?" Another Officer inquired with concern,
"It's either them or us! Now get us out of here!" Zav yelled,
Without another word spoken, The officers reluctantly followed his orders and began inputting the coordinates to escape the sector.
Planet Surface
Six kept his eye on the wall, but he soon receives a transmission from the fleet, "This is Six, What do you want?"
"Sir! Zav has called off the operation. He also insisted on leaving you all behind!" The officer reported,
Six then turned to the skies, pulled out his electro binoculars, and looked to the skies. What the office said was true as Zav's fleet began their jump to hyperspace.
Six only groans in frustration, and turns to his troops, "Fall back to the transports!"
His men listened, as they ceased fire and began to leave to make their way to the transport ships.
Imperial Outpost (Marcus' POV)
I slowly peeked out of cover and spotted the enemy troops retreating. Thus I gave them all the all-clear, "They're retreating!"
The soldiers of both the Order and Empire cheered in triumph while Lylia finally tends to the sacrificed soldier. She would bend down to her knees, run her two fingers down to the soldier's eyelids, and clasp her fingers together as she made a prayer in her tongue.
Ragnar could only watch her do so, while I pat him on the back a couple of times as I know what were his thoughts in mind.
But not long after the victory, Someone soon came along.
"Hey, I can walk you know!" A voice yelled, and everyone in the area turned to the source,
Apparently, I gaped beneath my helmet as I saw my own grandfather and little brother here which is currently held by Coreul and his men.
"I found these two sneaking around the area," Coreul stated as his men harshly brought Rick and Morty into their knees, "They don't seem to belong with the enemy. But they weren't friendly when we encountered them,"
"Who are these people," Lylia inquired,
"This man refuses to confess, but this young boy did so, and he told me that their names are Rick and Morty," Coreul said,
"Rick and Morty... Why does the first name seem so familiar," Lylia said, but got cut off from her thoughts as I approached the two, and yelled, "What the fuck are you two doing here?!"
Everyone soon turned their attention to me, while Rick frowns at me, "I dunno, Wander our way here. But more importantly, who the fuck are you?"
I immediately removed my helmet to show them my face and this surprises the two idiots in a big way.
"Marcus!?" Rick and Morty simultaneously recognized, but the latter was louder,
"He knows them?" Oko said to Ragnar,
"Yep," Ragnar said, "Those two happen to be his family members. But how did they come without a ship is something I would like to know,"
While everyone had thoughts of their own, I continued to argue with them, "Now you know. But what I want to know is why the hell would you come here,"
"Huh, Duh! It's just one of our adventures thing," Rick said, "It's what Morty and I do, remember!"
"I happen to have found this as they tried to escape," Coreul said, as he held a sack, and tosses on the ground,
And the contents of the sack contain Tyranite Crystals, and this brought some concern with everyone present while I groaned in frustration as I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"You seriously went here to steal these crystals, didn't you," I accused,
"This stuff doesn't always come from the market, you know," Rick pointed, "So I knew this planet, and went to collect some for myself,"
"Either way, You've gotten yourself in trouble. For that, I'd have to switch the deal of today's contract," I stated, then I turned to Lylia, "Hey, Princess! Do you mind if I discuss our terms again?"
"What do you want this time?" Lylia said,
"I would like to take these two idiots with me," I demanded, "Despite the idiocy, Their still my family, and I'm so heartless as to leave them to your judgment,"
Lylia was unsure of this and turns to Coreul.
"Reassured, my lady. He didn't hurt nor killed any of my men as soon as I restrained him," Coreul assured,
Lylia nods, then turn to me, "Very well,"
Her men then released Rick and Morty, and the two would soon go to my side while I picked up the sack containing the Tyranite,
Meanwhile, Lylia soon turns to Ragnar, "So... I assume you know what happens next?"
"I will have my mother send down several transport ships and have my men pack everything up," Ragnar said, "I keep my word after all,"
"Thank you. But in exchange, I will convey my thoughts of the Empire to my Father," Lylia said, "Who knows, Maybe our factions can coincide in the future,"
"That, I will keep in mind," Ragnar said, "And I am sure that my Mother and I will do the same about your Order,"
As a sight of respect with one another, the two would shake hands and preparations of the outpost's decommission as per the princess' agreement.
Rick and Morty would stay on the sidelines as some of the Imperial Medical Personnel performed a full check on the two since the crystals were considered a radioactive substance. As for me, I closed the sack containing the Tyranite Crystals, then placed it into another sack to ensure that it doesn't leak any sort of radiation to everyone near it.
As soon as I finished, I soon began to feel my legs aching. Even though I've been trained to tolerate, this was something I can't ignore.
"Are you alright, Marcus?" Ragnar asked, and I quickly turned to him,
"I'm fine, I'm just a little sore lately," I assured,
"If that's the case, You should get a day off," Ragnar recommended, "Also, your payment will be sent directly to your account,"
"Thanks," I thanked, then carried the sack onto my back, "I'll be going now,"
"Do you need a ship?" Ragnar questioned,
"No. with my Grandfather here, I'll be tagging with them on the way back," I said,
"In that case, Take care of yourself, Marcus," Ragnar said with a pat on my shoulder,
Afterward, I went to Rick and Morty after they've been cleared of radiation.
"Rick, Home, Now," I demanded,
Rick groans in irritation, but complies as he grabbed his portal gun, and opened a portal back to Earth.
I gave one last wave at Ragnar, then went inside the portal as they returned to Earth.
Somewhere... (3rd POV)
In a small sector within Synidicate Territory...
Lies a desolated yet populated planet...
On the planet surface, lies a hut almost in ruins. Yet it serves as the residences of a working alchemist.
Marcus arrived with a gas mask on, and glances around the area before knocking on the door a a couple of times.
The one that answers was the alchemist himself.
A tall, bald, green humanoid alien with a scarf that covers the entirety of his neck and mouth, a large burn mark from the forehead to the scalp, his clothes were ragged and dusty. (If you guys have a simpler description. Try imagine Arcane Singed.)
"Hello Doctor," Marcus greeted,
"Reaper," The Doctor greeted back,
"Please refrain from using that name here. You know it brings trouble," Marcus stated,
"My apologies, I tend to have a... memory problem," The Doctor sarcastically said, and lets Marcus in,
The Doctor then escorted Marcus into a cellar door, and reveals a set of stairs that leads to his basement/workplace.
As they went down the stairs, The Doctor closes the cellar door, and locks it with a latchlock before following Marcus into his workplace.
Once they've reached the bottom of the stairs, There was an open doorway that led to a room filled with several papers containing formulas of several drugged compounds, large capsules containing volatile chemicals, and another open doorway that leads to a medical table.
"Have you come for an appointment?" The Doctor questioned,
"The usual," Marcus answered,
"Then step right in," The Doctor insisted as he gestured his arm to the table,
Marcus takes a single breathe, then went to the medical table, and lies down onto it while the Doctor went to his medical instruments as well as a small bottle containing a certain drug he had created.
"What will you be paying with me this time?" The Doctor inquired,
"Tyranite," Marcus answered, "Think you can make something up with it?"
"Of course, It's not typically hard to create enchancing drug with one crystal. But with the right compounds I could improve the drug to it's potential, or more..." The Doctor said, grabs his syringe, and sterlizes it before filling it up with a chemical from the bottle,
"Good," Marcus said, "Then the testing will resumes..."
"Prehaps," The Doctor replied, then he places the syringe just beside Marcus' left side, "Would you mind..."
"You don't have to say it twice," Marcus said, and slips his wrists and feet into the table's restraints,
The Doctor then tightens the restraints that made Marcus groan a bit as well as strap another restraint onto Marcus' forehead.
The Doctor then rolled up the left side of Marcus' pants, and picked up his syringe, "Are you ready?"
"What do I have to lose?" Marcus questioned,
The Doctor scoffed once, then locates the area where it's nearest to the bone. Without a moment's hesitation, The Doctor injects the syringe into Marcus' leg, and the latter groans from the pain.
The contents of the syringe was slowly entering Marcus' bloodstream. Once the syringe's empty, The Doctor pulled out and waited for the effects of the medicine to go in effect.
But that's when it starts...
...
...
...
With agonizing pain...
Marcus's body soon went stiff, then lets out a scream before struggling from his restraints. The Doctor didn't seem to help him at all, instead he decided to leave the room, and sealed it with a steel door.
Once the latch were tightly sealed, The Doctor took several steps to the side, and waited...
He could still hear Marcus' screams on the other side of the door, despite it being thicker layered.
Eventually, Something else happens.
The steel door that contains Marcus on the other side of the door had began to break, and the Doctor sighed as this signifies that Marcus had broke free from his restrains.
With a final hit, the steel door breaks and fell with a loud thud while the Doctor didn't seem to care of the damage as he tends to Marcus.
The latter was panting heavily from the pain he had suffered, his limbs were trembling, his face was sweating, and his senses were weakened. But regardless of this, Marcus still mustered his strength to stand, and groggily walked out of the room.
"How are you feeling?" The Doctor questioned,
Marcus didn't bat an eye on him, instead he just went to nearby chair, sat down, and clutched his head as he waited for the pain to pass.
But as for the Doctor, he took his silence as a response, and went to grabbed a glass of water as well as a couple of pills that would ease his pain.
As soon as he offered them to him, Marcus grabs the pills and swallowed them in one go before drinking the entire glass of water.
He then took deep breathes as to calm himself down. After a couple of minutes, the pain finally passes and Marcus began to stand right up from the chair.
"Thanks again," Marcus thanked, and gave the Doctor his payment for his services, "I'll be going now,"
As Marcus makes his way up to the surface. The Doctor had to say something first, "You shouldn't do this for too long, Reaper. The longer you keep doing this, the more likely you will lose yourself and those around you,"
Marcus stopped just by the doorway, and donned sorrowed look on his face. With a sigh, Marcus slightly turns his head to the Doctor, "... I've already lost myself in the past... It's the others I'm concerned with..."
Marcus clenches his fist, but still held the same expression on his face "And they aren't your concern to begin with..."
Marcus then left the room, while the Doctor watched him go.
Letting go about his problems rather than interfere with them...
Bonus scene!
After Six received with a handful of his men, he sent a report to about Zav's failure to Reaper.
On the following day, Zav makes his way to his father's office. But was soon greeted by someone he had feared to meet.
"Hello, Son," Zav's Father nervously greeted, especially when the Reaper himself is present,
"Hello," Reaper greeted,
"R-Reaper..." Zav greeted back,
"Sit down," Reaper order as he gestured him to sit next to his father,
Zav didn't have any other choice but to comply, and sat next to his father while Reaper clasps his fingers together, "Do you have any idea on why I am here?"
"T-To make a discussion with us?" Zav's Father presumed,
"Correct," Reaper said, "As for the matter at hand, It's concerning your son's failure on a certain planet containing possibly quantities of Tyrantine. Not only that, he had also abandon his own men on the planet's surface including Six. Who was currently under your son's employment,"
Zav's father glanced at his son in utter shock. For abandoning a member of the Full House Gang is something that the Reaper will not ignore nor tolerate...
"Do you have anything to say about it?" Reaper sternly questioned to Zav,
The latter was utterly nervous by this question. Even if he say something or not, it's already too late for him...
For not even his own father can help him with the Reaper.
After a long uncomfortable silence, Zav bowed his head with a distraught expression on his face. But the Reaper didn't seem to say anything else in the matter, as he knew of what comes next, "Very well... Your punishment will be carried out by Six himself,"
Reaper then stood up from his seat, and walked to the door. But before he left, he had one last thing to say to him, "Pray for mercy... Not that I will change anything in the matter..."
Reaper shuts the door, and leaves the building without little to no concern towards them.
On the following day...
...
...
...
Zav was found dead in his room...
That is it for this episode, everyone! One last Original Episode and it's back to the original course of the series. But before that, It's time to reply to the reviews, and one of those replies is important to everyone!
Dracaris5470: ok dude if you wanted to write sci-fi that's fine but don't bait people with rick and morty when the only stuff with them is a canon rehash and the rest a completly different story.
I am aware of that. But I will admit this, The reason why Rick and Morty normally don't show up in the original chapters and most of their appearances are in the canon is due to my intent to explore my character's backstory as well as giving minor characters of the Original Series some spotlight.
Therefore, I never had the thought nor the intention of baiting people into reading my story.
omega5342: Well, that's a relief. I'm glad you're getting to make sure that Rick still has something that makes him redeemable rather than him actually doing that stuff to his family. I'm relieved.
Anyway, I first thought that this will be interdimensional cable, but you're still going on at original episodes, I see. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck at 'The Ricks Must Be Crazy' in my story, and I'm trying to figure out a way to make it work.
In the mean time, I would also want to ask you a question. Do you have any good advice on writing original chapters to a story such as yours or mine?
Hmmm... I've never given any advice to anyone on writing before. But I will give one that may help. If not, Know that I've tried.
Trying to imagine an Original Chapter as some large puzzle board. The puzzle board represents the Original Chapters, and the pieces represent the plot of your Chapter.
In order to make it all fit together is by visualizing several scenarios and figure out which scenario fits more with your chapter's plot. The same can be said for the Characters, Background, Actions, and Dialogues as well.
But try not to confuse yourself as you go through the plot of your chapter. If that ever happens, Then you will find yourself lost in your writing and plot will turn into a mess.
Even I find myself getting confused in my writing, and in some of those times. I end up starting the chapter all over, and that option is reserved only when you think you've messed up the plot.
That's all I have in my opinion. If you still need more advice, try asking a more experienced writer. Cause I still feel like a newbie writer.
Gamelover41592: epic work on this chapter and welcome back :)
Thanks. That means a lot.
Marcus: Yeah! It means a lot to me as well!
That is it for the reviews, once again stay safe from the virus, and I will see you all in the next episode!
Marcus: Stay safe! *leaves*
