Hey guys! Crescent Rider here and I'm not with Marcus again as this is important.
We all know where this episode is going, and I'll be revealing some stuff that I've planned in past. If you don't like it, I couldn't care less about it since this has been prepared since I started this fanfic.
That is all, and as always enjoy the episode!
I don't own Rick and Morty! I only own the OCs!
Smith Residences (3rd POV)
The Smith family was having breakfast with pancakes. However, Marcus wasn't among them as he was in college at the time being
"So, Dad, guess what tomorrow is," Beth said,
"Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday," Rick boringly said,
"No. Well, it... might be," Beth said,
"It is," Rick said,
"Fine. But also, tomorrow is your one-year anniversary back in our lives," Beth revealed, "I'm gonna make you flying-saucer-shaped pancakes,"
"Oh, t-t-there's no need to do that, Beth. Regular pancakes are fine," Rick said,
Soon enough, A portal opens in the dining room and reveals Evil Rick and Evil Morty entering the dining. Evil Rick cocked his gun and executed Rick, causing the family to panic while Evil Morty tranquilizes Morty and the pair kidnaps him.
Replacement Dimension, Smith Residences (Marcus' POV)
The Smith family was having some breakfast and comes in with a plate of saucer-shaped pancakes with a candle on the top.
"Happy anniversary, Dad," Beth said,
"Oh, I get it. Regular pancakes are already shaped like flying saucers," Rick said, and takes a bite out of it, "Mmm. I-I should be making you breakfast for putting up with me,"
"You should be making us a whole restaurant," Jerry remarked, which was ignored,
"Nonsense. We couldn't be happier to have you around," Beth said, "I just wish I got to see more of you,"
Coincidently, a portal opens and three alternate Ricks enter the room.
"Rick Sanchez of Earth Dimension C-137," A Rick Guard cited, "You are under arrest for crimes against alternate Ricks by the authority of the Trans-Dimensional Council of Ricks,"
"Hey! What the heck?!" Jerry yelled as he stood up from his chair,
"Neutralize the Jerry," Rick Guard ordered,
"Wait! No! I'll..." Before Jerry could say another word, A Rick freezes him solid,
"Dad!" Summer said as she tends to Jerry,
"Dad!" Beth yelled directly to Rick,
"Rick!" Morty said, while I just turned to him
"Everybody, Relax. If I know these a-holes, and I am these a-holes, they just want to haul me to their stupid clubhouse and waste my time with a bunch of questions," Rick said, and removes his bid, "Let's get it over with,"
"Bring his *burp* Morty," Rick Guard said,
"Oh man," Morty whined,
"Leave my Morty out of this," Rick demanded,
"You lost the right to have a say in these things when you refused to j... join the council," Rick Guard said, and the other Rick Guards escorted Rick and Morty to the portal.
"W-W-W-What about Jerry?" Beth asked concerningly,
"Will you at least unfreeze daughter's idiot?" Rick requested, and Rick Guard did just that before diving into the portal,
Moments later, Jerry was no longer frozen, "give you anything! I have a rare antique coin collection! Just don't hurt me!"
After realizing that the Ricks had just left, Jerry began to correct himself than to concern about Morty's well-being, "Okay, maybe not antique, but it was a limited minting. They have little R2-D2s instead of George Washington,"
"Our son's been abducted!" Beth yelled,
"You hate me for buying those coins!" Jerry yelled back,
But out of the blue, Jerry gets thrown by the glass at the back of his head, and both Beth and Summer turned to see me with an angry look on my face.
"Seriously, Jerry? I get that you don't care about Rick in the slightest. But Morty just got abducted and what you're concerned about is your fucking coins!?" I yelled, "Some father you are,"
After that, I stood up from my chair and make my way to the door going to the garage.
"What are you going to do, Marcus?" Summer asked,
"I'm going to find out where they took the two," I answered,
But before I reached for the door knob, I noticed my watch beeping and I turned to it. When I received a message from Valentine, I noticed it was urgent when it display a red message.
"Shit," I muttered, "On second thought, I'll be in my room,"
"Weren't you just going to find Rick and Morty by tampering with Rick's technology?" Summer inquired,
"They can take care of themselves. If not, I'll go back to that," I said, "Right now, I've got more important to handle,"
Without another word to them, I made my way to my room, locked it with high security since I don't want the Ricks breaking into my room unannounced,
After that, I opened the portal that led to my Interdimensional Room and jumped in without a moment to lose.
Marcus' Interdimensional Room
Upon arrival, Valentine in her android body approached me.
"Marcus," Valentine greeted, "A message from the Institute was sent to you yesterday,"
I went to my computer, turned it on, and opened the message. I skimmed through it and clicked my tongue once as it had to be that scenario.
"Great... First I saw Rick and Morty abducted by alternate versions of Rick, and now there's a fucking rogue that I need to take care of," I loudly complained,
"Would you like me to prepare the necessary equipment?" Valentine asked,
"Do it, and provide some beverages and snacks. I'll be expecting some company soon," I replied, and Valentine wasted no time whatsoever,
As she does, I went back to my computer and typed the following message.
'I have a report... My Rick and Morty had been taken by the Council of Ricks,' I typed, 'Send the rest of my team here, and I will volunteer in finding the rogue myself,'
I sent the message and Valentine had just finished making beverages and snacks. Moments later, three separate figures teleported into the room and I just stood up from my computer.
The first was a boy wearing a Western cowboy hat, a white shirt with rolled up sleeves, a sleeveless leather vest, long jeans with an ammo belt, a revolver holster, and boots. (The revolver within the holster is Mrcree's Pistol. I don't play Overwatch, but I do favor some of their equipment)
The second was a girl wearing some sort of symbiotic armor. (Similar to Kaisa's Armor from LOL)
And the third was another boy has a prosthetic right arm, a gas mask that only covers his mouth, his left forearm and hand are wrapped in bandages, a tactical vest (The Design is similar to the Airsoft Tactical Vest), heavy duty pants with a belt of at least five incendiary grenades, and firefighter boots.
All three come from different dimensions, but they all have one thing in common...
The cowboy removed his hat, the girl unveils her helmet, and the pyromaniac removes his mask revealing all three.

Are alternate versions of Marcus Smith himself...
"Well, I'll be... It's been a long time since I've last seen you, Two," Cowboy Marcus commented,
"That last time we met was two years ago," I pointed out, "But I still remember it plain as day,"
Then the Female Marcus rushes up to me and embraces me in a genuine hug. To which I just pat her on the back, "Do you always hug people in your dimension, Mistress?"
"Uh, fuck no. I hugged you because I get to work with you again!" Mistress excitingly said, then she turns to the Pyro Marcus, "Though I was expecting Twins to work alongside us. But I think working with Blaze is good for today's mission,"
Blaze just grumbled to himself, then made his way to the counter where the beverages and snacks are found.
"Rude," Mistress said,
"That reminds me, When is One coming?" I asked,
"Wait, One is coming?" Mistress said, "Like the best one among the Institute?"
"Is this your first time working with him?" I asked her,
"Yes!" Mistress said, and then gets all excited, "This is going to be so exciting!"
"One is currently handling some stuff in his dimension if you wait a little longer. He'd be before you'd know it," Wrangler said,
"In that case, you guys help yourselves with the beverages and snacks that I've prepared for you," I said, as I packed up my gear and wore an Exo suit armor with a shield generator attached at the very back of the exoskeleton,
Once I've worn it, I used durable clothing to hide my exoskeleton and then performed some stretching as this mission is going to be brutal for me and today's team.
I soon went to my computer and started a search in an attempt to find my Rick and Morty before those two get themselves killed.
After a few minutes of searching and my alternate versions dining in my Interdimensional Room. One final Marcus had arrived...
Everyone, including Valentine and Dummy, turned to the last Marcus to arrive, and it was none other than One himself...

The Institute's Top Ranking Mercenary of the board...
Upon his arrival, Mistress immediately rushes her way toward him, and offered a handshake him, "Hi! One, I'm Mistress. I know you don't care but... I want to say it's an honor to work with you today,"
"Sure," One said, "And don't say it like it that. It makes you think you're going to die,"
"One," I greeted,
"Two," One greeted back,
"Why were you late?" I asked,
"Had some stuff that I needed to do," One said, "You know how it is,"
"Listen, I'm sorry for what happened to your world though," I emphasized,
"It's alright, I've gotten used to it," One said,
Before I could say another word, my computer had pinpointed a possible location of the Rogue, "Looks like we've got a possible location,"
The alternate versions of me then gathered around me and gazed at the monitor.
"It appears our rogue is located on a system from another dimension. But something's interfering with the systems," I said, "So I can't specify which planet he's hiding in,"
"So what's the plan?" Wrangler asked,
I pressed a button on the keyboard, then a door opens, and tube holders rises from the desk, "Take one of those trackers with you. When you spot the Rogue, press the button on the top to notify everyone else of your location. Just don't try to lose it when we're searching deep within this system,"
My four alternate selves grabbed each tracker for themselves and primed it by twisting until they heard a click.
"Alright, Let's get going..." I declared as I stood up from the chair,
"Not yet," One said,
"Why?" I asked,
"Because I called in an additional Marcus for this occasion," One said, "Due to the circumstances of his Earth, his schedule is wide open,"
"So more waiting then," Mistress asked,
"Don't worry, he'll be quick," One said,
And true to his word, the Marcus he mentioned had arrived and he was wearing a power suit with a Yaujtja helmet.
"So this is him?" I asked,
"Yep," One said, then turns to that Marcus, "Do you mind showing your face to us, Hunter?"
This Marcus, code name Hunter, shook his head in response.
"Maybe he's shy," Mistress assumed,
"Okay, that's enough talk for one day. Let's just handle this Rogue now before it makes a move on the other dimensions," I declared and prepared a ship that would take us to our destination
Upon Arrival...
We all arrived at our destination and I scanned the whole area for traps or subordinates laying around in the area. Once I was given the all clear, I turned the ship's cloaking device and autopilot turned to the team, and gave a signaling nod to them.
"Alright people, Let's get to work," One ordered, and everyone readies themselves before being teleported on separate planets,
As for me, I was the last one to be teleported into some strange planet with little to no wildlife and the environment was quite dense than Earth. What's worse is that this system is off the grid, which explains why my computer wasn't fully capable of specifying a location.
I walked alone and searched for the Rogue's location.
A few hours later...
After searching for hours nonstop, I went to a cave and took residence there as I needed a break.
But in the meantime, I contacted the others about their progress.
"So, Any luck on your side? Cause I've been getting nothing lately," I said,
"No luck here, partner," Wrangler said, "This planet's a ghost town if I've ever seen one"
"Same here!" Mistress said, "But what I do get from all this is freaking slime on my boots!"
I heard patting on the receiver, and assumed that it was Blaze as he doesn't talk much, "N-O-T-H-I-N-G-H-E-R-E-."
"Sadly, my search here is nothing but dead ends as well," One said, "There's too much interference in this system,"
"What about you, Hunter? How's your search going so far?" I asked,
"Just as Blaze said, There's nothing's here," Hunter replied,
"Huh? So he can speak," Mistress remarked,
"I can, I'm just not in the mood to talk at all," Hunter said,
"Focus people, you can talk later after we've finished on what we're supposed to do here," One said,
"Which reminds me, Why did we have a rogue?" I asked, "It's quite rare to occur in the Institute,"
"Yeah? Makes me wonder why we've got a rogue. The last one happened about what? Two years ago?" Mistress followed,
"The details weren't clear after I was briefed on this mission," One said, "But reports have been going off about the Rogue assaulting other Marcus Smiths in different Dimensions and out of all of them. Only Five Accounts of our best have been killed while Twenty were injured by his assault,"
"Why would a Rogue go through all this trouble in beating the others?" Wrangler questioned,
"From I've gathered, He was accompanied by a Rick and Morty," One said,
"Wait, Wait, Wait. A Rick and Morty?" I questioned, "Like an alternate version of Rick and Morty?"
"That's pretty much the case," One said, "Why do you ask?"
"My Rick and Morty were arrested by these Ricks from the Council of Ricks not long ago," I revealed, "Well, My Rick and Morty were replaced by a new Rick and Morty after they died a few days ago. But still, they were taken due to criminals against them,"
"Shit, you lost your Rick and Morty?" Mistress said,
"Yeah, but I've gotten used to the new ones. Sure, they can be assholes at times, but they've kinda grown on me since they seemed rather well," I said,
"Then this information may be of use for us, Try finding them. If they're in the location where the Council of Ricks are located, We may be able to find our Rogue as well," One ordered,
And just on time, I notice my watch going off and it appeared to have detected a signal of an unidentified ship.
"Speak of the devil, A scanner just picked up a signal," I said, "And it's nearby,"
"They must have escaped on their own, Go find them," One said,
"Already on it," I said, cut off communication, and followed the signal through the rocky mountains and hazardous rivers,
Moments later...
As I stood on top of a small mountain, I pulled out some binoculars and scanned the area as the signal was close by.
That's when I soon stumbled onto a temple with an exterior that made me gape my mouth in utter shock. In the walls of the temple were several naked Mortys strapped and shrieking in agony as their sides were endlessly poked by automated spikes.
"Holy fuck..." I muttered, but I soon snapped out of it as I grabbed the device from my pocket, pressed the button, and let the others know of this location,
Then I make my way toward the building while applying some earplugs to ignore the screeching Mortys. I also noticed an abandoned police car and assumed that Rick and Morty were here before me.
There, I snuck my way inside the building and readied my knife as I fully expect this Rogue to get the jump on me.
Before I knew it...

As I stood in the middle of the four-way intersection hallway, I could feel someone watching him. Moments later, I hear a gun click and roll into the left hallway.
"I was expecting you to come so soon," The Rogue said, "Marcus Smith,"
"And I was expecting you to come out of the shadows, Asshole!" I said while pulling my sidearm and proceeded in firing an entire cylinder of my pistol before reloading behind the right hallway.
But I did get a full glimpse of the Rogue. He was me, but he had a mechanical gauntlet in his right hand, a pistol on his right waist, some sort of chest armor with a cybernetic heart, and some sort of high-tech eye piece on his right eye.
"So tell me! Why are you doing this?" I asked after reloading my pistol,
"Well, I got tired of my work and I thought it'd be fun to raid other people's dimensions!" The Rogue said, "Turns out, it felt better than I could ever imagine!"
"Sadly for you," I readied my pistol, "That'll be the biggest mistake of your entire life,"
Rogue's Side (3rd POV)
Armed with a high-tech rifle, The Rogue proceeds to aim for Two with Infrared Vision. But hesitates when he heard someone teleporting near him.
When he turned to the sort, Mistress appears with a smirk before materializing her helmet and firing several rockets from her suit. To which the Rogue keeps jumping back while avoiding the rockets exploding all over him.
Upon reaching a two-way hallway with several empty rooms, The Rogue hears a click and turns to his right. Apparently, Blaze was there and his prosthetic arm opened to reveal a cannon.
The Rogue ran to the left hallway as Blaze unleashed a wave of fire across the hallway until the Rogue dives into an empty room to hide from the flames.
Once the flames died down, The Rogue stands upstraight and readied his rifle. But before he could take a peek, one part of the corner was blasted off, and immediately pulls his head back.
But as soon as he breaths out once, he goes lunges toward the other room while firing a burst of bullets. At that moment, He sees Wrangler firing at him with his dual revolvers.
After that exchange, Blaze and Wrangler stuck to the wall to avoid the bullets while the Rogue lands in the other room.
"Who knew that Marcus would bring in some company with him," The Rogue said, "Guess I underestimated him,"
The Rogue then recalls the floor plan of the entire building and pulls out some explosive charges onto a wall. He detonates the charges with a controlled explosion to avoid them from hurting them, then went to the next room.
Before he could step towards it, he notices two individuals standing inside the room with guns aiming at him.
"Looks like we've found ourselves a Rogue here, Don't you agree, Hunter?" One commented as he held his pistol, (The weapon in question is a .45 Pistol)
"Agreed," Hunter agreed, as he points his rifle at him
The Rogue groans in frustration especially when he noticed Blaze and Wrangler behind him as well. Before any of the four pulled the trigger, the Rogue resorted to one last tactic...
"I didn't want to do this, but you leave me no choice," The Rogue said, then bit hard onto one of his teeth. Apparently, one of the teeth happens to be fake and drank some sort of drug down his throat,
The Rogue then proceeded to groan in utter pain as the drug takes its effect. All in the while, Two and Mistress arrived and they noticed the Rogue's current condition as the drug was near completion.
"Well... This is a problem..." Wrangler commented as every Mercenary knew what this was...
Meanwhile... (Marcus' POV)
Rick was freed by his Morty while the rest of the other Mortys overpowered Evil Rick and his minions. As Evil Rick kept yelling to the Mortys to kill him, they did so by bludgeoning him to death.
Soon afterward, Rick disabled the supposed field by releasing the other Mortys outside the building and then proceeded to contact the Ricks about his current location while telling them that he had found the real killer.
As they waited, the Mortys kept bludgeoning Evil Rick and his minions despite the fact they were already deceased. But the atmosphere changed when someone bursts through the fall everyone turned toward it.
Once the smoke clears, it was none other than me as I groaned in pain and slowly sat up from the ground.
"Ugh... Dammit," I cursed while holding onto the side of my right chest,
"Marcus?!" Morty and Rick yelled simultaneously,
"Huh? Oh hey, guys, I see you've managed to handle the situation you two just got yourselves into," I commented
"What are you doing here?" Rick asked, "And why are you all hurt?"
"Long story, but I've got some important shit to deal with right now," I stated, and stood upstraight while still clutching onto the right side of my chest,
Moments later, Hunter was thrown passed by me and hits straight into the wall while One followed suit but immediately recovers by dragging his feet against the floor.
"What the? Another Marcus?" Rick said, "But that could only mean that they weren't the only ones here *gesturing Evil Rick*,"
"No shit, Sherlock," One said, and then readies his energy blade from his right wrist, "And hello,"
One then charges through the hole while Hunter gets up on his feet and prepares himself to follow One's lead. But he hesitates when he spots Rick and Morty.
Hunter scanned the two of them, and lightly gasps as if he had recognized them from the get-go. But he soon growled as he walked up to Rick, grabbed him by the shoulder, and turned him around.
"Wha-" Before a word came out of Rick's mouth, Hunter lands a solid punch across Rick's face and falls to the ground,
"That's for destroying my fucking world!" Hunter yelled in utter anger, then turns to Morty,
Hunter grabs both of Morty's shoulders, knees him into the stomach, and made Morty whimper in pain as he held his stomach and fell to the ground, "And that is for thinking with your fucking dick, you little prick!"
"Hey! What the fuck was that for!" I yelled,
When Rick looks up at Hunter, he notices him removing his helmet and revealing that he was a Marcus Smith with some sort of warpaint as he glared down at him.
"Who the fuck are you?" Rick questioned while coughing out some blood,
"I'll tell you who I'm fucking am," Hunter grabs Rick's lab coat, and pulls him close, "I'm one of many people you fucking left behind while everyone else mutated into a fucking freak of nature, you narcissistic fuck!"
"Huh... That would explain why you had so much free time," I commented, "But enough with that, Hunter. We still have a Rogue to deal with,"
"Oh, fuck you, Two!" Hunter yelled after he harshly drops Rick onto the floor,
"W-Wait, you're saying that you're my Marcus?" Morty asked,
"Of fucking course, you dimwit," Hunter yelled, "And just so you know, I have a bone to pick with you as well, Morty. Ever since your little fuck up! I had to handle some if not most of what happened on my Earth! Fucking people had to eat Cronenbergs because of what you've done!"
Morty couldn't say anything due to the pain in his stomach or the shame he had caused.
Before Hunter could proceed any further with his rant, I yelled at him, "Hunter! Fucking yell at them after we kill this asshole!"
Right on time, the Rogue enters the room as Mistress dragged him against the floor and then straight into a wall before unleashing a barrage of cannon fire from her suit in point blank range.
The others soon arrived at the scene, and Wrangler pulls out some sort of metal ball in his hand and threw it towards the Rogue. Midway, the metal ball opens and reveals some electric rope spinning and then wrapping itself onto the Rogue's chest and arms while the round part attaches itself like magnets.
The Rogue attempted to struggle from his binds but to no avail.
"You may try on breaking yourself free from those binds there, partner. Those are one of my finest traps I have made in my whole life," Wrangler stated, "Even an alien bull ten times your size wouldn't do squat on break those binds,"
"But just to be on the safe side," One approached the Rogue, pulled out some mechanical cuffs, and threw them onto the Rogue's legs and neck. The ends of those cuffs locked themselves against the floor and wall, "There, now we end this,"
The team and I gather around the Rogue, raised our weapons at the Rogue, and we all shared the expression as the following words came out of my mouth, "Evil Marcus Smith... By the Order of the Marc Merc's Institute, you hereby..."
Everyone readies their triggers while I gave the final word, "Deceased from Hereafter..."
The Rogue only screamed before the Team and I executed him with everything he had despite it leaning to overkill. Blaze used his arm cannon to burst the Rogue's body in flames, Wrangler fired his dual revolvers until the chamber was empty, Mistress fires her lasers from her hand cannons while One, Hunter, and I used up all of the rounds on the Rogue.
Once the Rogue was dead and his head, waist, and legs were the only things that remained. Everyone lowered their weapons and relaxed after knowing that this was all over.
One then sends live footage that he had been recording throughout the mission to the Institute and then turns to the others, "That's it for this mission. Our Rogue has been terminated,"
"Good, Now all I want to do is rest! My back is killing me," Mistress complained while rubbing her back a couple of times,
"But what of the body?" Wrangler questioned,
"I'll take it to the Institute to have it examined and removed. We can't let this fall to enemy hands," One declared, "The rest of you can go back to your lives,"
Blaze was the first to leave as he activate a teleportation device that sent him back to his original dimension.
"Well, it's been fun with you all," Wrangler said, "See y'all in the next one,"
Wrangler then activates his teleportation device and returns to his original dimension. Mistress dematerializes her helmet, approached One, and shook his hand a few times, "It's been an honor working with you! *turns to me* Both of you,"
After she steps away from him, she materializes her helmet once more and activates the teleportation system on her suit to return to her dimension.
One just smiled, then planted a teleportation rod near the Rogue's remains. Meanwhile, Hunter remained angry at Rick and Morty while I pat him on the back a couple of times.
"Can I talk to you for a bit?" I asked, then he agreed as we stepped a few feet away from the two,
"Look, I know you're mad at them for what they did and I understand that. But between you and me," I said, "I think you should forget about them,"
"What?" Hunter questioned,
"Before your Rick and Morty came along with my dimension, my old Rick and Morty fucking caused the same incident like yours. However, that incident was resolved but in return, my Rick and Morty are now dead due to an explosion in their garage," I said, "That's when those two came along,"
Hunter glances at Rick and Morty then turns back to me as I continued, "Look, what I'm trying to say is that you should forget about this whole grudge thing since you've been dealing with a lot of things in your world. Don't let that weigh you down, cause they're my problem now, not yours. So what do you say?"
Hunter puts this in thought, then sighs as his words had calmed his mind from my pep talk. Then he spoke the following, "I can't forgive them for what they did, but you're right. I should let this get over me,"
I just smiled, until Hunter continued with the conversation, "Though it feels good for me to kick their asses. A chance like that doesn't come around these days you know?"
"I agree, If I was in your position. I would have felt good too," I agreed,
After we shared a laugh, Hunter proceeds to activate his teleportation device. But sets it on a five-second timer to say the following sentence to me, "See ya around, Two,"
"You too," I added while giving a two finger salute,
Hunter then disappears as he returns to his world while I sighed and turned to One.
"It's been a pleasure working for you," I said,
"Same," One added, then activates the beacon as he and the Rogue's remains are teleported to the Institute,
Once I was alone with Rick and Morty, I turned to them and I could already tell what questions they have in mind, "If you're going to ask anything about this. Now and later is not the time,"
"Ok, but when are we going to learn more about this John Wick Fan Club crap?" Rick questioned while rubbing onto his bruised cheek,
"Once again, Now and later is not the time," I said, then on cue where several portals openings and Ricks tending with Rickless Mortys,
Citadel of Ricks
"Earth Rick C - 137, the council apologizes for its false accusation, and in the way of reparations for our terrible mistake, we would like to compensate you with this voucher," A Councilor Rick said, and pulls out a voucher from a small box, "For a free replacement Morty in the event that your current Morty should..."
Morty and I frowned at the voucher while Rick kept making several gestures to stop before finally speaking with them, "Uh, guys, not a good time. Come on, you two. Let's hit it,"
But I did notice Rick grabbed the voucher ticket.
"Is it time for arcs yet, Rick? I did a pretty good job back there for a human cloaking device," Morty said, "Saved your ass,"
"He kinda did, even though I didn't see it," I added,
"Alright, Morty. Don't break your arm jerking yourself out," Rick said,
"Man, I can't believe you, Rick," Morty said, "That right there. That w... that was a great opportunity to show me a little humanity, you know? To connect with me a little,"
"Hey, Morty, you want connection, go be part of some stupid club, like all those dumb Ricks," Rick said, "You know, maybe I don't connect because I'm the Rickest Rick. And, you know, it would g... go without saying that the Rickest Rick would have the Mortyest Morty,"
"It would go without saying, huh?" Morty said,
"Yeah, it would. Did you hear me say it?" Rick questioned,
"Nah," Morty replied, "The Mortyest Morty,"
I just rolled my eyes and ruffled his hair a bit,
"Just don't get too big for your loafers, Buster Brown. A cocky Morty can lead to some big problems," Rick stated, "It can be a real bad thing for everybody,"
"Oh, yeah? How's that?" Morty questioned,
"U-Uh, I'll explain when you're older," Rick said,
Meanwhile... (3rd POV)
After disposing of the Rogue's remains to Institute Hands. A few Marcus Smiths were assigned to do a full psychological and biological autopsy with the most advanced technology to determine the cause of this Rogue's defection.
But when one of the Marcus Smiths opened the Rogue's head, He sees something peculiar...
"Hey guys, Take a look at this," Marcus 1 told, and the others came to his side,
It then revealed that the Rogue was not himself as there was mind-controlling technology attached to this Marcus Smith's brain and was operated remotely.
"Forceps," Marcus 1 requested and was given the forceps as he dug into the Rogue's brain,
That's when he pulled out the receiver and this made everyone glance at each other. After some brief silence, the leading operator declares a statement to all of them, "Send word to the top, Our rogue's been controlled by a third party,"
A Rogue Marcus is a danger to the Institute and its personnel, but a Third party capable of fully controlling a Marcus Smith against his own will is even worse...
Thus, a reminder was made for every Marcus Smith...
On the day this Third Party reveals himself once more...
One's Dimension (Bonus!)
After the job was handled, One arrives at his original dimension through his Interdimensional room and removes his armor along with his weapons.
Then he proceeds to wear a new set of emerald green clothes then comes the most noticeable piece of his attire. A brooch that holds the insignia of the Zeno Empire.
Upon exiting his Interdimensional Room, the one who awaits him was a female alternate version of Marcus' Best Friend. Rada Vex Andrel...
"Hello, Marcus," Rada greeted,
"Hello, Love," One greeted back,
Rada then approached One, embraced each other, and then kissed one another.
"What took you so long?" Rada questioned,
"I had to handle certain manners in another place," One replied, "But as of right now, I am totally free with my schedule as of today,"
"Good," Rada said, then gently straightens One's suit and properly adjusted his brooch, "Cause an Empire is never prepared for the Emperor's absences..."
One chuckled to himself, and offers his arm to him, "Then shall we get going?"
Rada smiled, hooked onto One's arm, "As we must,"
The two then went on their merry way to attend certain meetings and affairs of the Empire. But next to a large bed was a small desk with two picture frames.
The first was One, Rada, and her parents standing close to each other, and the second was One in a tuxedo and Rada in a wedding dress. Signifying an alternate dimension where Marcus Smith is married to a female version of his best friend, Ragnarous Vex Andrel, and has a ruling Emperor of the Zeno Empire.
That is it for this episode, everyone! One last episode and I have officially finished the first Season of Rick of Morty!
Marcus: Crazy stuff you've made here, Huh Crest?
Indeed, it was hard to complete especially when I'm bound to make some mistakes here and there. But if I have the time, I'll re-edit some things here and there and polish it into a better chapter.
Marcus: Agreed, now let's go with the reviews of the previous chapters!
omega5342: I suspected that the Plutonians were not even from Pluto from the moment I saw them. I put that in my story where I had Reimu ask Scroopy Noops about her suspicions about Pluto, but you had the thing expanded on in ways I didn't think about.
I've been thinking about rebooting my story and making it fresh whilst still keeping to its original concept and making a bit of a new experience. I hope you can give me some tips, and I kinda hope you'll respond on this one. As always, I wish you good fortune with your story.
Huh? I didn't expect someone to envision the same concept as mine, Thanks for pointing that out. And as for some tips, I'm afraid I can't provide you with some as I've only rewritten at least three stories. Two are currently idle and the last one is something that I am progressing but rather slowly as I was more focused on this story than that one.
But I will give one piece of advice that may or may not be helpful. Depends on how you think about it.
Rebooting a story isn't an easy thing to decide on the get-go as it involved starting over in a different direction. Take your time in deciding by reading your own story in its current version, see which plot needs changing or not, and/or read rewritten versions of other people's fanfics as references.
The last one may not help as there are some occasions where the Author deletes his/her old work for the new one. But it's better to try than not try at all.
Gamelover41592: Awesome work on this chapter, though I have to ask what made you decide to want to kill ALL the Plutoninas?
I can only elaborate on a few reasons, but I'll let Marcus do that for me.
Marcus: First, I did some off-screen research regarding their species and classified them as more of a foreign species than a local species of Pluto.
Marcus: Second, There are some stories that Crest may/may not know that involve the Plutonians being left alone. So he thought it'd be better to extend the screentime despite it being their extermination.
Marcus: And lastly, *puts on the Reaper's Mask* was a personal problem. If I left them alone, the chances of them leaving Pluto for another planet in the Milky Way are still present. So it's better to handle the problem not that leave it be. Even if it meant the mass extinction of the Plutonian Race. *Proceeds to take off the Reaper's Mask*
There are a few others, but I'll let you guys think about that for yourselves.
That is all I have to say for today, if you have questions let me know and I will answer them, and I'll see you guys in the next one!
Marcus: Stay safe from the Virus, Guys! *leaves*
