Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I'm here with Marcus

Marcus: Hello!

And we welcome you to the last episode of Season 1! But before you begin reading this, I want to tell you all something. After completing Season 2 will come in August/September, but I will make a bonus chapter that may or may not be filled with Lemon scenes along with the first episode of Season 2.

Marcus: Yeah!

But anyway, That is all I've got to say for now, and enjoy the finale of season 1!

Marcus: Crest doesn't own Rick and Morty! He only owns the OCs!

Smith Residences (Marcus' POV)

Beth and Jerry were packing some things in the car for their Titanic-themed getaway.

"Bye Mom! Bye, Dad!" Summer said,

"Drive carefully," Morty followed,

"Have fun, you two," Rick said,

As for me, I just stayed silent as I had my hands in my pockets the whole time.

"Yes, we will have as much fun as possible on our... Titanic-themed getaway," Beth said,

"Let's lose the 'tude, please. It's supposed to be romantic," Jerry said,

"Being on the same ship that sunk and killed thousands of people is romantic? Some get away," I remarked, though I kept my mouth shut when Beth looked at me,

"Speaking of disasters, Dad, we are leaving you in charge," Beth declared,

"I know, c-can we wrap this up?" Rick questioned, "Morty and I have some synthetic laser eels oxidizing in the garage,"

"Hey! Don't blow me off. I am drawing a line, okay?" Beth sternly stated, "Any damage to this house or these children when we get back, and... n-no more adventures with Morty,"

I whistled at that punishment while Morty turns to Rick, "Aw, geez, Rick, if my mom's the one saying it, then you know it's pretty serious this time,"

"That's right," Beth and Jerry said simultaneously, though the latter didn't catch onto that, "Wait what?"

"Listen, you have my word as a caregiver, everything's gonna be fine," Rick promised, "And if not, as you say, no more adventures or whatever,"

Rick then referenced some sort of song and questioned if everyone knew about it. If I was totally honest with Rick, I've never heard of it.

"A-All right, whatever. Look, who cares?" Rick dismissed, "Just go on your stupid trip,"

"Not one thing out of place," Jerry sternly said, then drives out of the driveway. But stops to get out of the car for a brief moment, "Not a single thing,"

We then watched them drive off for their getaway trip. Once they were out of sight, the garage door behind us had melted a hole by the synthetic laser eels, and watched them go.

Then the garage doors fall on top of us, Though it did hurt us in any way as we went through the middle of the hole and stared at the broken garage door.

"Well, we're past the point of no return," Summer said, "I'm going to have a party,"

Rick and I decided to bring the garage door back, and worry about the laser eels since they may not cause too much trouble with them on the loose.

Kitchen

Summer was on the phone calling out to one of his friends while searching for some alcohol while I was on the phone waiting for the caller to answer.

Moments later, I get a connection.

"Marcus?" Aurora questioned, "Why are you calling me?"

"Oh, just wanted to ask you if we could hang out at my house. My sister is throwing a party," I said,

"A Party? Why would she want to have a party in your house?" Aurora questioned,

"Guess," I asked,

After putting some thought over the matter, he hears her voice as she hummed on the other line, "Fine, It's not like I have other things to do at the moment,"

"Good," I said, then hung up the phone before contacting another number,

I waited for the caller to answer. Eventually, the caller answers,

"Who is this?" Ragnar questioned,

"Just a friend from work," I answered,

"Marcus. Why are you calling me today?" Ragnar inquired,

"I wanted to know if we could hang out later," I asked, "But only in the house since my sister's going to have a party here,"

"I don't know... I still have some important things to handle," Ragnar said,

"Like...?" I inquired, and waited for an answer,

"Some political affairs, meetings with a few councilors, lessons from my educator. You know how it is," Ragnar answered,

"Really? Then I assume you haven't forgotten?" I asked,

"Forgot what?" Ragnar said,

"Tomorrow?" I questioned,

After a brief silence, I could hear a small tone from his voice, "Oh... Shit,"

I just chuckled to myself as the following day in Emeros is his Anniversary with Oko. If he forgets about this important day, Oko tends to go through a small tantrum about why Ragnar missed such an important day and asks some doubtful questions about their relationship.

Though Oko may forgive him, Ragnar still doesn't want to feel bad about missing the important things in life. His relationship with Oko is one of those things.

"Did you at least buy something for her?" I inquired,

"I wasn't able to... I had too much time on my hands," Ragnar said,

"And that's why I'm calling you," I stated, "Cause I may have something that may work out between you two,"

"Really?" Ragnar questioned,

"Yeah, and trust me. Oko will love it," I said, "In fact, how about you bring her along. Can't have her feeling all left out in all this,"

"Well... I'll talk to my father about this," Ragnar said, "I'll let you know via message,"

"I'll be waiting," I answered,

After some time, I heard Rick saying that he'll be throwing a party as well. This meant that he'll be inviting some of his alien friends to get wrecked. Hence, I've decided to make certain precautions in case these friends of his try to sneak into my room.

A Few Hours Later...

Some of Summer's friends arrived, and I was just sitting by the couch waiting for the arrival of my friends.

Moments later, Brad and two of his friends from high school enter the house and I spot him, "Hey, Brad,"

"Sup, Marc," Brad greeted,

Personally, I don't hate him rather I respect him as he respects me when I was still in high school. Then I heard Summer's voice by the front door, "Ugh, Grandpa!"

I stood up and went to the door, there I see one of Rick's best friends known as Birdperson.

"Birdperson!" Rick greeted while fist bumping him,

"I am pleased there is no emergency," Birdperson said,

"Oh there's an emergency, all right. A pussy emergency!" Rick said, "When's the last time you got laid, 'Pers?"

"It has been a... Challenging mating season for Birdperson," Birdperson stated,

"Then it's time to get your beak wet tonight, player," Rick declared, "Go have some fun out there Birdp... Bird... Birdperson,"

"Hey, Birdperson," I greeted,

"Greetings, Marcus. I hope you've been well," Birdperson said,

"I'm working things out," I said, then I spotted some familiar faces standing by the front of the house, "And now is one of them,"

I passed by Birdperson, and let the door open as Aurora, Ragnar, and Oko were walking their way to the door. (Ragnar and Oko are disguised as humans)

"Hey guys," I called out to my friends,

"Yo!" Aurora greeted with a two finger salute,

"Hey Marcus," Ragnar greeted, and shook hands with me,

"You know these two, Marcus?" Aurora questioned,

"They're my other friends," I said, "I met them online,"

"And you didn't tell me?" Aurora questioned,

"You never asked," I pointed,

"Point taken," Aurora said,

But when I turned to Oko, I noticed that she was pouting to herself, and her arms were crossed together,

"Is there something wrong, Oko?" I inquired,

"It's nothing," Oko replied, and Ragnar awkwardly chuckled,

"Okay... But anyway, how about you guys come in. Just don't mind the others," I insisted as I let them into the house,

But as soon as they entered, I noticed a saucer hovering by the road and a ramp opens. Then comes a swarm of aliens.

"What up my Glip Glops!" Rick greeted them as he lets them into the house,

"Oh, man!" Morty complained, while I knew this was going to be a problem soon,

The Following Night

Several people and aliens arrived at the party and things escalated rather quickly as Morty frantically grabbed as much trash as he can, Summer tried to rep up with the cool girls, and Rick just went with the flow especially when more of his best friends show up.

As for me, and my friends. They had some problems with the party as it was quite rough and uncomfortable considering that majority of the guests are aliens.

I decided to take them up to my room and locked the door as my room is off limits.

"You guys doing okay back there?" I questioned,

"First of all, No considering some of those weird-looking aliens tried to touch me, and Second, since when does your Grandfather have this many friends in one place? Especially when they're aliens, to begin with," Aurora questioned,

"When you're the smartest man in the whole universe, you'll understand," I said as I air-quoted on the 'Smartest Man in the whole universe' part, "But enough of Rick's bullshit, It's time for us to hang,"

"Hang where exactly?" Aurora questioned as I walked to my closet,

After pulling out the device from my closet, I immediately opened a portal and dived through it as it closes behind me.

Aurora, Ragnar, and Oko just glanced at each other for a while. Then the portal opens once more as I walked out with a couple of things that I had taken from the other side. Some snacks, drinks, video games, and a pack Uno card game.

First, I set down the things I carried onto a desk, pressed a button underneath, and a small flatscreen monitor appeared before them. After properly hooking up the gaming console, the first game I inserted was a fighting game that Ragnar and I used to play.

"So, Who wants to play first?" I questioned,

At first, Aurora looked a bit unconvinced. But she rolled her eyes and raised her hand while I gave her the controller.

"How about you, Ragnar? You want to take a round at her?" I offered as I handed him another controller,

"Sure," Ragnar agreed as he takes the controller,

As for Oko, she still maintained that same expression from before, and I just sat down while Ragnar and Aurora chose their respective fighters for the game.

A few minutes in, it soon changed from video games to simple conversations as Aurora grew to befriend Ragnar due to certain similarities to what they're interested in. Comics are the most out of all things.

Soon, everyone sat down on the floor with their legs crossed together.

"So, How did you and Marcus meet again? Cause I'm kinda interested to know on how it all went down," Aurora questioned,

"It was a long time ago, He and I met online and we pretty much became fast friends," Ragnar answered, "How about you? How did you and Marcus become friends as well?"

"Oh, We share a dorm in college. You know how it is," Aurora said,

"If I remember correctly, You threw a dart at me," I revealed,

"I had wimps enter my dorm room before. Especially stalkers, those kinds of guys are the worse," Aurora said,

"I didn't know you had the kind of problem," Ragnar commented, "I had my fair share of stalkers, but... it was more complicated than you could imagine,"

"If I remember correctly, some of your classmates rushed towards you with the intent to befriend you since your father is an influential man," I pointed out, though it was a lie since the truth farther than that,

"Influential? But how come I've never heard of you?" Aurora questioned,

"I actually came from overseas," Ragnar answered, "And my father did what he could to hide my identity,"

I stared at Aurora just as she stared at Ragnar with suspicion in her eyes. For this was one of her traits when it comes to people with influence.

Her stepfather is one of those influential people...

After some time, Aurora shrugged her shoulders at the thought, "You know what, forget it. I've been through the same thing before, so I won't pressure you,"

"You've been swarmed by people before?" I asked,

"When I was young, but after I punched the living daylights of a boy who tried his luck at me. They all backed away after they heard what I can do," Aurora said,

"Strong girl," Ragnar commented, and he receives an elbow to the side from Oko, "Hey, I didn't mean it like that,"

Oko just pouted while crossing her arms together,

"I'll take that as a compliment, but if you're trying to hit on me. Then I suggest you forget your chances," Aurora said, "Cause I'm not interested,"

"Why's that?" Oko suspiciously questioned,

Since I was sitting next to Oko, I nudged onto her arm and whispered the reason into her ear. After it was said and done, she understood Aurora's reason, "Ohhh... I see,"

"What?" Ragnar said,

"Oh, it's nothing..." Oko said while averting her eyes towards the curious Ragnar,

Ragnar turns to me for an answer, but I simply told him, "I'll tell you someday,"

The conversation continued as they shared other stuff beside themselves until I pulled out the Uno cards. That's when things escalated towards chaos...

After minutes of playing the game had passed, and This is our fifth round of the card game. Out of all four of us, Oko has yet to lose while the rest of us lost on certain rounds.

"Uno," I said as dropped a blue 5 on the pile, and Aurora groans in frustration as she had to draw a few cards until she held at least 7 cards in hand,

Ragnar was holding 8 cards and Oko was holding 4 cards. The arrangement of this game starts from me to Aurora, then Ragnar, then Oko, and finally back to me.

Aurora then proceeded to drop a blue 9 on the pile, and Ragnar changes the color to yellow with the same number on hand. Oko then drops a yellow Skip card and it goes to Aurora as she changes the color with a green skip card.

But Oko had dropped a green skip card, and Aurora drops a green reverse card. Thus I grumbled as the card I had doesn't match the current card on the pile, and ended up drawing 4 more cards before dropping a green 3 card.

"Uno!" Oko yelled after she drops a green 7 on hand,

"Finally," Ragnar said, and drops a green +2 card,

"Don't even think about it," Aurora said, and drops a yellow +2 card,

"Same here," I said, and drops a blue +2 card,

"Yes!" Ragnar said in triumph,

"Were you trying to add more cards to my hand, Ragnar?" Oko questioned with a raised eyebrow,

"Yeah, why?" Ragnar inquires,

"Cause I hate to disappoint you on this one," Oko said and drops her final card. Which was a red +2 card,

"NO!" Ragnar yelled in distraught while Aurora laughed as soon as the game ended with Ragnar holding the most cards,

As for me, I just rolled my eyes, collected the cards of each player, and started shuffling them. But that's when a certain conversation came into mind.

"That's weird..." Oko said,

"What is it?" I asked,

"I know that Aurora just laugh after Ragnar lost with the most cards, but... Why aren't you laughing along with her?" Oko questioned,

"What do you mean?" I questioned,

"Well... Ragnar once told me that you used to be cheerful and all. Thinking about it makes me wonder if what he said was true," Oko pointed,

"I agree... How come you aren't laughing?" Aurora said after she finished laughing, "In fact, I've never heard you laugh or even chuckle at the matter,"

Ragnar was now in it too as he stared at me. It felt like I was being put to a corner until I somehow confessed the truth to all three of them. As I looked around the room, the image of the Reaper appears once more.

It looked somewhat passive, but stood behind my three friends, and stared as if it were expecting an answer. Before I could say a word to the three, the house began to rumble, then followed by a crash that shook the room.

"What the hell?!" Aurora exclaimed,

I stood up from the floor and rushed towards the window. My eyes widen especially when I opened the window and leaned out to see if the surrounding is real.

First, I pulled myself back from the window, grabbed my laptop, and placed it on the desk as I try to pinpoint the house's current location.

"Marcus, what just happened?" Oko questioned,

"I don't know, but I get the feeling that my grandfather or brother had something to do with this," I irritatingly assumed, then I made my way towards the door,

"Where are you going?" Ragnar questioned,

"I'm going to find out where we are by asking my family. You three can do whatever you want here. Just don't go outside the house," I sternly said then left the room,

As for the three of them, they just stared at each other and then back at the door with uncertainty about my actions.

Switch to 3rd POV

After a brief moment of silence, Ragnar sighs, and the girls turn to him.

"What's seems to be the problem, Love?" Oko questioned, (The term love was taught by Marcus)

"It's just that attitude of his," Ragnar pointed out, "Though it may not be rude in any way, it's nothing like what he used to be," Ragnar said,

"What do you mean by that? Are you saying that he used to act differently?" Aurora questioned,

"Yeah, I don't know how or what changed. But I know he isn't what he used to be," Ragnar said, "He was a cheerful, diligent, and easy-going guy. Now, he's more serious, close minded, and... cold,"

"That's not how I see it," Aurora pointed out, "When I first met him, he was open with his interests. It's nothing like you said,"

"Then have you ever seen him smile? Even if it's for a brief moment, did you see him smiling at all?" Ragnar questioned,

"Now that I think about it... He is a bit passive when it comes to his emotions," Aurora said, "He takes interests, but never shows the slightest emotion to them,"

"That's just it," Ragnar said, "Back then, whenever he had something interested in, he would share them with a more positive approach. I can still remember the times he shared his interests in comics in the past,"

A few years ago, Flashback...

Ragnar was in his room after attending yet another meeting for his education.

But after he wore his casual attire, he heard a portal open and what comes in was Marcus holding a small stack of comic books in hand.

"Hey, Ragnar!" Marcus greeted enthusiastically,

"Hey," Ragnar greeted rather awkwardly since he wasn't expecting Marcus to come in unannounced, "What brings you here?"

"I thought I'd stop by and pass some time with you reading these comic books. I hope you don't mind," Marcus replied,

"Comic books? What are those supposed to be?" Ragnar inquired, "Things that belong on earth?"

"Yep! They're a type of book that's filled with a lot of pictures!" Marcus said, and placed them onto a table, "Since I've got nothing better to do, I thought teaching you all about it would interest you. So whaddya say?"

"Um..." Ragnar trails out since he too has nothing else in the matter. After putting some thought into the matter, he agrees to his suggestion, "Well... I too have nothing else to do, So I guess it wouldn't hurt if I read a book or two,"

"Great! And for that, I wholeheartedly share this comic!" Marcus declared as he passes him an issue of Marvel's God of Thunder, Thor Odinson,

That's when the two began to read Marvel comics with one another. This leads to the Imperial Prince having been well-versed with the Marvel comics with Thor being his favorite hero due to certain similarities they share while Marcus openly shared his hero to be none other than Iron man.

End of Flashback

"That's how he was back then," Ragnar said,

"A-Are you sure you're talking about the same person?" Aurora questioned, "Cause he sure doesn't sound like the Marcus I know,"

"He is, but his life just took a drastic change that even I couldn't see him the same way as I did before," Ragnar pointed out, "If only I knew why,"

"I found something!" Oko yelled and the two turned to her,

Apparently, Oko was searching through Marcus' closet and finds a box inside. Since Marcus has yet to return, Oko took the luxury of browsing through the box and finds some neatly placed objects.

As she carefully placed the objects down, she soon finds a picture frame with a photo inside. When she brought it out, what the three saw was Marcus grinning at the camera while his arm his around a girl with long sky blue hair, exactly his age as him, and smiling

However, the glass was quite broken at the bottom left corner of the frame.

"I wonder who this is?" Oko questioned, then turns to Ragnar, "Do you know any of you two know?"

"No, He never mentioned anyone like her before," Ragnar said,

"And it's nothing like Natalia or Elizia for that matter," Aurora pointed out,

"Who are those two?" Oko asked,

"Just some girls that happened to know Marcus, I met them when they snuck into college," Aurora revealed, "But I've never seen nor heard of this girl before,"

"Maybe I'll check the back of the photo. There must be some sort of date written behind it," Oko declared as she was about to pull the photo out of its frame,

But Ragnar intervenes and grabs her hand, "I think it's best that we shouldn't, We've peeked through his stuff long enough,"

Oko turns back to the picture frame, then sighs as she pulled her hand back, and lowers the picture, "You know what? You're right. Maybe I shouldn't look at his stuff any longer,"

After that, the three organized the box's content. Once everything was neatly placed, Oko pushes the box inside the closet and closes the door.

"So...? What should we do now?" Ragnar questioned,

"Normally, I'd wait for Marcus to come back. How about we play another round?" Aurora said, "I think Marcus still has his game inside the console,"

With that, the three went onto Marcus' bed, load up the game, and prepared another round for the game.

Though unknownst to them... Someone was eavesdropping on them as the door was faintly open.

Outside Marcus' Room... (Marcus' POV)

After eavesdropping on them for some time when they've searched my stuff. I never would have imagined that they would bring up my past.

Rather than confront them, I just pulled my hand back from the knob and walked away as I wanted some time alone.

From what I heard, Morty is out of the house searching for some Kalaxian Crystals for Rick. Though unknownst to him, this substance is a drug that heightens one's sensation but expires rather short after consumption.

Therefore, I needed to find Morty to ensure his safety and serve as a distraction from my friends' invasion of privacy.

As I make my way through the crowd of people, I opened the sliding door and noticed one of those monsters trying to reach out for me. But one hardened glare towards it had caused it to hesitate and slowly back away before moving on to its next endeavor.

I jumped down and used a tracker from my watch to locate the Kalaxian Crystals since that's where I'll find Morty.

As I walked through the forest, I knew I wasn't walking alone as I could hear whispers in my head. I just ignored them and pressed onward before stepping on something fragile.

I looked down and find a small Kalaxian Crystal cracked to pieces after I'd stepped on them. If it weren't for the shoes I wear today, it would have pierced through the skin.

I just dusted the crystal fragments off my feet, then continued to make my way toward the large deposit of Kalaxian Crystals.

After the whispers faded, the Reaper comes into view as he walked beside me. Though he didn't spare even a glance at me whatsoever.

With me alone, I decided to kill some time by talking to myself, "What the hell am I doing this for..."

"..." The Reaper remained silent, though I wouldn't expect it to reply to my question whatsoever,

I just stared as I kept walking, but I turned away before scratching the back of my head, "Why the hell am I talking to myself... It's not like you'll respond to my questions,"

"..." The Reaper still remained silent, as I fully expected him to be,

"You know what, it doesn't matter..." I declared, "Why would anyone care about my problems... They have theirs... I have mine,"

"..." The Reaper was still silent, though he somehow stopped as I kept going,

As I was about to reach my current destination...

...

...

...

I hear an echo in the very depths of my imagination...

...

...

...

"Coward..."

I still kept going, though I could tell that my mind had been cleared by the Reaper's presence.

Upon arrival, I saw one of Rick's creations, Abrodolph Lincoler, about to fight some sort of alien creature. Before he could get the chance, I pulled out a pistol and fired straight through its eyes.

As it lay dead on the ground, Lincoler, Morty, and Summer's friend, Nancy, took notice of my presence after I put my pistol in its holster.

"Marcus! What are you doing here?!" Morty exclaimed,

"Came looking for you, Dummy," I answered, and turned to his two assigned companions, "And it seemed you didn't need my protection after all,"

"And who might you be?" Lincoler questioned,

"Marcus Smith, I'm Morty's older brother. That also makes me your creator's grandson, Abrodolph Lincoler," I added while crossing my arms together, then I turned to Nancy, "By the way, why did you join up with Morty in finding these crystals, Nancy?"

"Umm... Because Summer told me that I could play the flute?" Nancy answered,

I groaned and muttered under my breath, "Bitch..."

"What?" Morty questioned,

"Nothing, but the real question is why you're out here? Shouldn't you three in the house by now?" I asked,

"Rick told me that he needed these Kalaxian Crystals to get us back home," Morty answered,

"Of course he did, but I'm in no mood to argue right now. So how about you guys get as many as you can, then we get back to the house afterward," I declared, "Lincoler and I will keep watch in case another one of these things come popping out again,"

With that, Morty and Nancy began harvesting some crystals while Lincoler and I just stood on guard for any more creatures to come out of hiding.

After the crystals were harvested, the two soon approached us.

"We got what we can carry," Morty said,

"Good, now let's get going before something worse comes along," I declared, but as luck would have it...

...

...

...

Things do come to worse when the sound of large footsteps came before us. It was a larger alien creature and shrieked at us.

"You have got to be kidding me," I said, as it raised its paw I only shouted one word to all of them, "SCATTER!"

Morty and Nancy jumped back while Lincoler and I jumped to opposite sides as the paw hits the ground. I pulled out my pistol and fired a couple of shots toward the creature's face.

Though, the bullet wouldn't even cause a dent in its face due to the thickness of its skin. But it did get its attention as it turns towards me and attempted to swipe its paw towards me.

But Lincoler gets its attention by throwing a medium size boulder just underneath its ear.

"Over here, you overgrowth degenerate!" Lincoler yelled, and the creature turns to him as if it had heard its call, "Prepare to be emancipated for your interior genes!"

The creature roared and attempted to smash Lincoler down. But the latter avoids this then took the opportunity to climb up onto its face, then started punching the hell out of the creature's eye as it shriek in pain and tried to shake him up.

As this happens, I took the opportunity to reload my pistol with fresh bullets and began shooting the other side of its face.

Morty and Nancy took cover as they had no means to fight against such a creature. But things soon turned for the worse when the creature finally loses Lincoler off of its head and sends him rolling all over the ground.

As Lincoler gets up, he was swiped away by the creature's large paw which sends him straight into the tree with a loud audible crunch.

"Lincoler!" Nancy yelled out of concern, and Morty was whooping in concern,

Meanwhile, I emptied my pistols and reached out for fresh ammo to reload. But that's when I realized that I was out of ammo and I cursed under my breath before rolling to the side to avoid its paw swiping towards me.

But that's where I make my mistake as I failed to avoid the other paw smashing down on me and I held up my arms to hold its large paw to prevent it from crushing me.

"Marcus!" Morty yelled out in concern as I held my ground against this monster,

After a time, the creature preferred to toy with its prey as it applies more pressure, I fall down on one knee as I struggled to keep its paw from crushing me. Apparently, my legs were aching to the point that could feel them cracking.

Before the creature could crush me entirely, unexpected help had come to the rescue.

The creature suddenly roared in pain as one of its six eyes was shot and caused it to recoil its paw off of me. When I fell to the ground on all fours, I turned in the direction of the shot and saw three people who had come to the rescue.

Apparently, the timing couldn't be any more perfect...

"Nice shot, Love," Ragnar praised,

"I told you that training would pay off," Oko said as she held her rifle in hand,

The creature then turns to the two and roars while Ragnar goes into action by whipping out his energy blade and pistol while Aurora comes running towards me.

"You okay?" Aurora questioned,

"No, why do you ask?" I said,

"Cause I want to," Aurora said, then places my arm around her neck, and proceeds to drag me towards Morty and Nancy while Ragnar and Oko handled the creature rather well.

With the creature setting its sight on the two lovers, Oko rolled to her left while Ragnar rolled to his right. Upon recovery, Oko shot another one of the creature's eyes while Ragnar threw his energy blade when it attempted to smash its paw down on Oko.

The blade goes right through the paw, and then it turns its attention towards him. Though it wouldn't get the chance as Oko and Ragnar simultaneously shot at the creature's face until it finally had enough, and began to flee as it had suffered too much damage from their attacks.

As it runs deep into the woods, Ragnar's blade fell off and lands not too far from the area Ragnar went to it and picked it out of the ground. Oko then puts away her rifle into its holster.

With the area secured of anything else that may potentially harm them, Ragnar and Oko went to me while Morty and Nancy went to check on Lincoler.

"You okay, Marcus?" Ragnar questioned,

I stay silent for a brief moment, but I soon gave an honest answer to him, "After nearly getting myself crushed to death? No, I am not okay,"

"Can you walk properly?" Oko inquired,

"Legs are still aching, so I doubt I'd be able to walk without someone lending me a hand," I replied,

"And I might need some help," Aurora said, "Cause we've got a long way before we reach the house again,"

"Then allow me to assist you on that one," Ragnar said, carried my other arm around his neck, and assisted Aurora into bringing me back to the house.

Morty and Nancy then returned to my side, and I took notice of their expressions, "How's Lincoler?"

"He... didn't make it," Morty answered,

"Well... Shit," I said, "Guess we've got no other choice but to move on. It's too dangerous to stay out here in the open,"

With that, everyone continued to make their way back to the house. Along the way, a conversation was struck between me and my friends...

"So... You've left the part where Ragnar and Oko are actually aliens," Aurora pointed out,

"You never asked," I replied, "And how did you know they were aliens?"

"Well..." Aurora trails out while I raised an eyebrow at her current expression, "Let's just say it wasn't easy, but I figured it out in the end,"

"I see, did you know more about them?" I inquired,

"She learned about my lineage," Ragnar said,

"Hmph, so it would seem," I said, "Anything else you want to talk about?"

"A lot, but it comes down to one important question that all three of us what to know about," Aurora said,

"Which is?" I questioned,

Aurora and Ragnar glanced at each other, followed by Oko as she appeared next to Aurora's side. Before long, Oko did the honor of asking the question to me, "Why'd you stop smiling?"

I raised an eyebrow at this, but I soon shook my head as I knew where this question was from, "You looked into my stuff now, didn't you?"

"Yeah! But don't you dare change the subject," Oko said, "Otherwise, I'm going to have Ragnar and Aurora abandon you here until you finally give us an answer,"

"A bit over the top, don't you think?" I questioned,

"We'll do it," Ragnar encouraged,

"Well, if you want to know. Fine, let's start with me stating something revolving your question," I said, "You saw an old picture of mine?"

"You mean the one where you're grinning with a girl?" Aurora questioned,

"That's the one," I said,

"Who is she?" Ragnar asked,

"I... can't tell you... Not now to be precise," I added, "But she's the reason why I stopped smiling?"

"Why? Did she dump you with some other guy?" Oko questioned, and I shook my head in response,

"No... She and I were fine for two whole years. We'd laugh, argue, and make up. But she would never go so low as to cheat on me," I said, "The reason why I stopped smiling..."

I took a deep breath while everyone, including Morty and Nancy, waited for me to continue.

Then...

...

...

...

I admitted the truth to them, "Was the day I lost her..."

Aurora and Ragnar stared at each other for a brief time, then back to Marcus while Oko somewhat felt bad about this truth.

"Lost her? What happened?" Oko questioned,

"I was soft back then... She and I had got along so well with other each, that I'd cherish every memorable moment that filled me with so much joy. But it made me ignorant when I failed to save her that day," I confessed, which made them all feel bad about it, "I just lost it... Even after I killed her murderer with my own bare hands... I still felt lost... I..."

I sighed to myself as the memory still haunts me to this day. The flames, the bodies...

...

...

...

Her...

...

...

...

It never stopped burning...

After an uncomfortable moment of silence, Oko decided to speak out as she didn't want to ruin the mood any longer, "Uh... Hey, you want to know what happened when Aurora and I played a round at your card game?"

"What happened?" I asked while Aurora kept gesturing her not to do it,

"Well... Aurora tried to use the same trick on me, and failed so miserable that she threw a bit of fit at the end of the game," Oko said, "It was quite funny to see at the very least,"

"You always get the good cards!" Aurora yelled, "Why is it hard for us to beat you for once!"

"Now you know what I'm going through," Ragnar commented,

While they make their way to the house, Aurora and Oko continued to argue with each other and even swore that Oko will soon get the taste of her own medicine when the Imperial Prince and Delinquent Girl finally gets back at her.

After our arrival, Morty and Nancy approached Rick and gave him the Kalaxian Crystals. Which gains Ragnar and Oko's attention, though I made a small whistle sound to get their attention and shook my head to refrain from questioning it.

"Rick, wait! There's something you need to know. I couldn't have done it without Lincoler. He said that he was really sorry and that he loves you like a father" Morty said, which causes Nancy to tear up a bit while I averted her eyes off of Rick, "He only wanted you to accept him, and he hopes that his final act would redeem him in your eyes. *tears up* He sacrificed himself to save all of us, Rick. He died,"

"Well, at least he didn't die in vain. He got these crystals," Rick said, then started cutting the crystal into powder form, and snort them until his eyes go blue, "And these babies just saved this lame-ass party! Wubba, lubba, dub, dub! Play something. Somebody, play something."

A stereo robot then hits a play button and music began to play much to Morty and Nancy's confusion especially when Rick started dancing with a couple of people copying his moves.

"I'm really sorry for not mentioning this so soon. But Kalaxian Crystals are a type narcotic drug that lasts rather short," I revealed,

"What?! Why didn't you say anything?!" Morty yelled,

"Cause I was in a bad mood, Morty. Also, you never asked me," I pointed out,

After the song ends, everyone cheers while I watched Morty confront Rick about the crystals. After some arguing, Morty grabs the bag containing the Kalaxian Crystals and throws them out of the house. To which, an alien outside the house caught it.

After Rick regained his senses since Kalaxian Crystals can only affect them for a short while, he tries to ask for some of it. Though it soon ends with Morty yelling to everyone, "All right, everybody, party is officially over! Rick, take us home now."

"All right, all right, fine, Morty, you party pooper buzzkill! Boo, boo! Morty sucks!" Rick jeered, and everyone went along with it,

As Morty walks away, everyone still kept booing at him. That's when I decided to end it right then and there.

"Gun please," I requested Ragnar, and he gives his gun to me,

Then I fired a couple of shots toward the ceiling and it really get their attention as they all turned towards me, "Any other complaints?"

Everyone, excluding Aurora, Ragnar, and Oko, took a step back and I gave Ragnar's gun back, "That's what I thought,"

A couple of minutes later...

After the house returned to Earth, I told Aurora, and Ragnar to set me down on the couch while everyone else leaves the house as Squanchy invites them to his place.

Summer tried to join, but Squanchy denies her as Nancy told him how much of a bitch she was.

"So... I guess, it's time for you guys to leave, huh?" I inquired,

"Yeah, and despite everything that's happened," Aurora turns to Ragnar and Oko, and smiled at them, "It was fun,"

"Good to know," I said, "Which reminds me,"

I turned to Ragnar, "About that conversation, we had on the phone earlier,"

"What about it?" Ragnar questioned,

"Expect it to arrive shortly," I said, while I pressed a small button on my watch,

"Oh, sure thing," Ragnar said,

"What is he talking about?" Oko questioned,

"Just some stuff he wanted to give to me," Ragnar said, and Oko just put up the same expression when she first arrived,

"What's the deal with you, Oko? Recall something bad?" Aurora questioned,

"It's just some guy who forgot something important," Oko said,

"Are you talking about me?" Ragnar questioned,

"No, cause that would be too obvious," Oko replied, and I rolled my eyes as it was too obvious to notice,

"So... What about this house? Should help with the cleaning or..." Aurora mentioned,

"Don't worry about it, We'll manage to clean this whole place up," I assured,

"Okay, Well. I'd better going now," Aurora said, "My dad might get worried sick if I arrived later than normal,"

"Same here," Ragnar said,

"You guys take care now," I said, and three of them walked out the door together,

After they've left, Rick lies down next to the couch while Summer sat down.

"Next time I party, I'm just gonna focus on getting totally wrecked," Summer said, "You're so wise,"

Rick just grunts to himself before falling asleep while Morty picks up the trash all over the house. Meanwhile, Birdperson was still in the house and assisted Morty in helping him with the trash.

Then comes the talk from Birdperson, "Morty, do you know what "wubba lubba dub dub" means?"

"Uh, that's just Rick's stupid nonsense catchphrase," Morty answered,

"It's not a catchphrase, Morty," I pointed out, "It means 'I am in great pain, Please help me',"

"Well, I got news for you. He's saying it ironically," Morty said, and continues in picking up the trash while Birdperson continued,

I chose to ignore their conversation as I was well aware of Rick's intentions to numb himself from the pain he's been dealing with these past few months and I couldn't care less about them. Morty felt the same as he stated that Rick is a huge asshole and said that today would probably be the best thing that has ever happened to him.

After some time, I hear Summer saying that Beth and Jerry already coming home while Birdperson states that what happens now is Morty's choice. To keep things as they are and stop his adventures with Rick, or prevent it.

Birdperson then leaves with one of Summer's classmates Tammy riding on his back.

I just waited for Morty to make his decision and chooses the latter by waking Rick up.

"Rick, wake up," Morty demanded,

"Huh? What? Wait? What? What? Stop," Rick replied as he groggily woke up,

"Rick, you got to do something quickly. My parents are home," Morty said,

"Augh. Uh, all-all right, All right. Hold-hold on," Rick said, and drinks a glass of water, "Ahh! So good"

"Oh, my God. They're walking up the driveway," Morty said as he looked out the window,

"Bring me the thing," Rick requested,

"What-what thing?" Morty asked,

"The thing. The thing. The-the- it's got, like, buttons on it and lights on it. It-it-it beeps," Rick said while rubbing his forehead,

"Rick! That describes everything in your garage!" Morty yelled,

"Do you mean this?" Summer asked as he holds up a remote device,

"Summer *burps* for the win," Rick said, then activates the device, "All right, that should do it,"

"Whoa! What did you do?" Morty questioned,

"Uh, s-see for yourself," Rick insisted as he gestured towards the door,

Upon opening the door, Beth and Jerry were frozen solid and so was everything outside the house.

"You froze time?" I asked, as went to Rick,

"Yeah, e-everything's frozen in time. Yeah, and Slow Mobius thinks he's all that," Rick said,

"For how long?" Morty questioned,

"I don't know. How long do you guys want? A week? A month?" Rick said,

After a brief silence, Summer was the first to speak up, "Can we start cleaning the house and see how we feel?"

That's when everyone began clearing the house while goofing off in a family manner especially when I joined in. Then we carved a couple of pumpkin heads and placed them onto Beth and Jerry's heads.

Then we all went running down a busy street and pulled down everyone's pants down before going into a mall to steal a large screen tv.

We then sat down on the front yard and watched the Titanic Movie. Though it didn't really catch any of our interest in it.

"Worst movie ever," Summer said,

"Dumb," Rick added, and I nodded,

"Ooh, boy, what a waste of time," Morty commented and caused Rick and Summer to laugh as he made a time joke, "Get it? You know, 'cause it's frozen.

As for me, I let out a small chuckle and that was all I ever let out for today.

"This has been so much fun," Summer said,

"Hey, Rick. You know, this whole time, I haven't once heard you say that "wubba lubba dub dub" thing that you usually say," Morty pointed out,

"Don't need to. I have a *burp* new catchphrase," Rick revealed,

"Oh really? And that would be?" I asked,

"love my grandkids!" Rick said,

"Aw..." Summer and Morty said and hugged Rick while I rolled my eyes,

"Psych! Just kidding - my new catchphrase is, 'I don't give a fuck'!" Rick said then turns on a stereo,

The three of them then started dancing while I watched them for a while. But after some time thinking about it, I just shrugged my shoulders, "Eh, Why the fuck not,"

I stood up and joined in with the family fun.

"That's the end, motherfucker! "I don't give a fuck" is my new catchphrase! Fuck you! That's season one! Boom! Season one up in your face, motherfucker! Yeah!" Rick yelled pit,

Just as Rick says, This is the end of Season 1, Baby! Normally, I would make a bonus scene on this episode! But I've decided not to as I will compensate with the upcoming Bonus alongside the first episode of Season 2!

So stay patient by reading other people's stories or take a gander at my stories instead!

And before I go, It's time to reply to the reviews of the last chapter!

omega5342: Even if you couldn't really give me that much, I thank you for the advice you gave me. I hope that I can make it work with my reboot. I hope this virus thing ends soon, I'm wanting things to return to normal as soon as they can.

My pleasure, and I'm glad you understood...

jojoboy914: What would be cool to see is Marcus going up against a version of himself that really went off the rails. Like this villain Marcus would be truly hailed as the most dangerous and more intelligent version of Marcus. But he sees a rival in the current Marcus, someone that could come close to beating him. Then it's a battle of wits between evil Marcus and main man Marcus. Winner takes all

Actually, I've thought of something similar. Though I'll reveal when I reach a certain season of the series

Gamelover41592: epic work on this chapter, also did not expect you to bring the old Marcus back :)

That was indeed my intention. To bring back the Old Marcus and have him beat up Rick and Morty for outrightly destroying his Earth.

After all, I wasn't going to let them slide with their mistake so easily.

That is all I have to say, stay safe from the virus, and I will see you all in the next season!

The Crescent Rider has signed out...
